It had been a week since Spike had gotten the Watch, and so far so good. He'd saved Applebloom and Big Mac, Scared his friends. and Saved Mr.Cake and Fluttershy. Not much had happened since, The three new heroes of Ponyville had already been honored in different way's. Heatblast had had a special Drink named after him by the apples. Upchuck had been mentioned by the mayor and had been given a medal, Rainbow dash had accepted in his place, saying Upchuck and her where old buddy's. and once it was Rebuilt, Fourarm's was getting a statue in Sugar Cube corner. Spike looked at the construction sight, when an Idea hit him, he pressed the button, selected Ditto, and slammed it down.
Ditto made a clone, and they quickly tossed a coin.
"OK" The original said "I'll go help with Construction...you stay here and do our chorus!" the clone, cloned himself several timed
"Aye aye!" they said and all ran about to pick a job, Ditto ran out the front door and ran down to the construction sight. He ran to the nearest Pony helping ,Big Mac.
"Hey buddy, don't suppose I could give you hand?" Big Mac turned and dropped what he was carrying in shock, he looked at Ditto for a second, then turned and yelled
"Alien hero here to help" with in a minute Ditto was surrounded by a crowd asking a million questions at once, but they where silenced and made a path as Mr.Cake came down.
"Your friends with Fourarms"
"How can you tell?" Ditto asked retoricly
"The thing on your forehead" Mr.Cake replied, Big Mac nodded "All the other have it on them, some kind of Badge for your hero's club or something right?"
"um...yeah, sure, let's go with that" Ditto replied as Big Mac picked up a bag of insulation.
"OK, well Big Mac here is helping with insulation and the roof, I'm helping with the walls, witch on you gonna help with.
"Both" Ditto said matter of factly
"Both?" The two asked in equal confusion. Ditto split into two and they both confirmed
"Both!" The two separated. One went with Big Mac, the other with Mr.Cake. after about an hour, Ditto was the only one still working, mainly because every couple of minutes, the Icon on his head would start beeping like mad, then stop. Big mac and Mr.Cake where watching them with a few others, all eating popcorn as they watched. Some of the Ditto's where attempting to use the pulley system to get a large chunk of wood in place, they got it half way up before one of the rope's broke and crushed several of the Ditto's causing them to burst into Green light. A large mob of Ditto's proceeded to gang up on the wood, beating it with hammers several of them accidentally hitting other Ditto. Soon the mob split into two group's, some still attacking the wood beam, the rest attacking each other. Soon they reformed back into a single mob and carried to wood beam off, dropping it in the river and cheering as it floated away.
"HEY NIMRODS!" One of the Ditto's on the roof yelled "We need that to fix the wall" after a short pause they all started blaming each other. "I DON'T CARE WHO STARTED IT...JUST GO GET IT BACK!" He yelled, this ended with several ponies coming over to help the Ditto's get it out of the water. Another Ditto on the roof turned to the first one
"If there all nimrods....doesn't that mean we are to?" there was a pause, then the ditto's on the roof started all arguing with each other. Mr.Cake sighed
"Were still at the same progress as when we started....but dam if these guy's are funny" he giggled and picked up his megaphone "excuse me Ditto's?" They all froze where they where and looked at him "Thank you for your help, but.....I paid these good ponies in advance and I'd like to get my money's worth out of them, so thank you so much for your help, but you've done more than enough. There was another moment of Silence, they a cheer erupted form the Ditto's all yelling about how awesome they where as they made their way back to the Castle
"That guy was a blast" Big Mac said as he Picked up the Bag of Insulation again and made his way up to remove the many pointless nails that had been hammered into random spots.
Ditto walked back into the castle and Found Twilight pleading with the other group of DItto's
"......so just tell me how to turn you back already!" The Ditto she was talking to noticed the other group's return.
"Say Please"
"PLEASE TURN BACK!!" There was beeping, and the Ditto's all flew into each other and in a red flash Spike patted Twilight on the head
"Please always works" he said happily as he went back up stairs.
"Thank fucking Celestia....I can hear myself think again."
