"Hello?" Rainbow Dash called as she looked around the dark void." Where am I?" She asked herself as she started walking in a random direction." How did I get here?" She mumbled as memories of Ryker's attack flooded her mind." Am I....dead?"
"No, not dead." A women's voice called causing Rainbow to jump in fright." Just.....sleeping." The voice said with a calm tone as Rainbow looked around.
"Where are you?" Rainbow asked as the women giggled.
"Look behind you." The woman said as Rainbow turned around to see a woman with dark purple hair and wearing a blue and gold outfit." You've grown so much since I've last saw you." The woman said with a tearful smile
"M-mom?" Rainbow asked as the woman nodded."MOM!" She said with happiness as she ran and hugged her mother." I've missed you."
"And I've missed you." Her mother said as she hugged her daughter."It's good to see you again, how are your father and brother?"
"Dad's doing fine, and Crimson, that's kinda complicated." Rainbow said as her mother raised an eyebrow." Do you know anything about a demon named Grimstone?"
"Come again?" Her mother asked in confusion.
"You've missed a lot." Rainbow said with laugh." Basically, Crimson is the host of a demon named Grimstone, now he's kinda a superhero."
"I'm afraid to even ask how he became a host in the first place." Her mother said with worry."How's your friend, Blizzard was it? If I remember you had a small crush on him."
"He's fine." Rainbow quickly as her mother smirked." He's my boyfriend."
"How'd your father take it?"Her mother asked.
"He said he saw it coming a mile away." Rainbow said as her mother smiled." Where have you been all these years?"
"It's a long story."Her mother said." Has your father told you and your brother how we met?"
"He hasn't." Rainbow said as her mother sighed." Is it related to what your wearing?"
"Very much so." Her mother said as she took a deep breath." I assure you, what I'm about to tell you is the complete truth."
"Ooooookay." Rainbow said weirded out." How did you two meet?"
"He saved my life." Her mother said as Rainbow's eyes widened." One night I got into a horrible accident, it was a stormy night and your father just so happened to stumble across where I was."
"Car crash?" Rainbow asked as her mother shook her head." Then what kind of accident and how is it connected to what your wearing and how are you inside my head?"
"Rainbow, I'm not sure how to say this." Her mother said." You might as well get comfortable, this is quite the tale."
---Rider---
"How about this one?" Grimstone asked as he tossed Strange a book.
"Not this one." Strange said as he threw it aside." I know I have a book on interdimensional travel somewhere."
"You lend it to someone?" Grimstone asked as Strange shook his head." Worth as shot." He muttered as he looked among the many bookshelves." I'm surprised you haven't lost anything in here."
"I'm still looking for my house keys." Strange said as Grimstone groaned."If we can't find it, I'll have to ask....found it."
"That's good." Grimstone said as he felt someone tap his shoulder." Yes?" He asked as he turned around." Hello?"
"I'm still over here." Strange said as Grimstone rolled his eyes." You okay?"
"I felt someone touch me." Grimstone grumbled as he felt another tap as he growled." You wouldn't have a invisible person here would you?"
"No, but I think I know what's bugging you." Strange said as pointed above Grimstone's head." It looks like Robbie taught your friend how to use sling rings."
"Come again" Grimstone said he looked up and saw a small portal above his head." D@mn it Rider." He grumbled as the Rider cackled." Get down here, we found something."
"What'cha find?" Rider asked as his head pocked out of the portal.
"A way for you to rejoin your friends." Strange said as he flipped through the book." But unfortunately, there is a downside."
"Just spill it." Rider said." I mean the worst that can happen is..."
"It will reset you and your hosts bonding." Strange interrupted."However, it will make you and your host stronger."
"I believe I understand what your saying." Grimstone said."Crimsons first Transformation was very painful."
"You think his was painful." Rider snarled as he jumped out of the portal." Blizzard, both figuratively and literally, burst into flames."
"Crimson's skeleton bent into different shapes." Grimstone shot back as Strange groaned as he read a page.
"Have you felt your organs turn to ash." Rider deadpanned as Grimstone remained silent." Especially your di...."
"Okay goodbye." Strange said quickly as he opened a portal and threw the two in." Good riddance."
--Blizzard--
"Ya know, this isn't the first time I've been in hand cuffs." I muttered as we walked through the long hall, as the two pony guards lead us."How about you Crimson?"
"Rather not talk about it." Crimson said as one of the guards huffed." I feel like we're annoying them."
"Yes, you are."The guard said glaring.
"Aaanyway." I said as the guard looked forward." What's your name?"
"Classified." The guard said quickly.
"Okay then, 'classified', where are we going?" I joked as the guard growled.
"We're here." The guard said as we stopped in front of two doors.
"Hey Blizzard, you alright?" Crimson asked as I glanced at him." You're sweating up a storm."
"I'm fine." I said as we entered the room.Why did it just get a hundred degrees hotter.
"You sure?" Crimson asked as I nodded weakly." Alright then." He said wearily as we approached the white alicorn." Hello again princess."
"Greetings." Celestia said as I waved weakly." Now then, let's get down to business."
"Could someone open a window by any chance." I said as I tugged at my collar." It's sweltering in here."
"During our first confrontation, I felt a darkness in your hearts." Celestia began as I huffed." Why is that?"
"I was experimented on and him....well." Crimson said as he looked as I wobbled in place." Made a stupid choice."
"I see." Celestia said as a pink alicorn entered the room."Did you bring harm to my subjects?"
"No, we don't." Crimson said as I looked at my reflection in a mirror as his voice became distant."You see..w.."
"What the fuck?" I muttered as my reflection stared back with nothing but evil in it's eyes." Um...Crimson?" I said quietly as my reflections eyes turned orange as I felt myself getting hotter." Oh shit."
"So we just need a way home." Crimson finished." And also for the b@stard of a captain to eat dirt."
"I can try to help you, but it won't be easy." Celestia said with a clam smile, which quickly turned to fear." SOMEPONY GET SOME WATER, QUICKLY!!!!"
"What's going....HOLY SHIT!!!" Crimson shouted as smoke started to rise from my body." Blizzard, what's wrong?"
"Someone's on my naughty list." I said as my voice was twisted." Someone has been a very bad pony." I cackled as my eyes turned orange.
"What's wrong with him?" Celestia asked as Crimson backed away in fear.
"Where to start?" Crimson said as my cackle turned to crazed laughter." For one, we should start running."
"Where would you go?" I said as the smoke got thicker." Nowhere to go, nowhere to HIDE!!!! HAHAHAHA!!!" I laughed as fire licked the bottom of my boots and grabbed at the side of my head." HE'S KNOCKING AT THE DOOOOR!!!" I shouted as I began to groan in pain as the shackles melted off my wrist as my skin began to melt as I walked forward clutching my head as flames began to emerge.
"Quickly with me." Celestia said as Crimson's shackles vanished as he was being dragged be her magic, as the pink alicorn followed." What are we witnessing?"
"Aunt Celestia, what's going on?" The pink alicorn asked the laughter got louder and demonic.
"I don't know Cadence." Celestia said with fear." But first, I'll ask again, what did we just witness?"
"What do you know about Ghost Riders?" Crimson asked as Celestia's blood froze." If you know what they are, you just witnessed the rebirth of one."
"The royal guard might be able to slow it down." Cadence said worried." And yes we know what Ghost riders are."
"Have they encountered one before?" Crimson asked as the two princesses shook there heads."I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but they're screwed" he said as screams rang from the throne room."Let's hope he's in a good mood."
"Let's hope you're right." Celestia said as the doors swung opened as the Rider stepped out.
"An angry man once said." The rider said as he looked at the trio." I'M BACK BITCHES!!!"
--Crimson POV--
The cackling continued and got louder as the Rider got closer.
"I really hate it has to come to this." I said as I pinched the brow of my nose.
"What do you mean?" Celestia asked confused as Cadence was trying to calm down.
"I may be able to talk to him and calm him down so just bear with me." I said as I stood up and stood between the two princesses and Rider.
"Oh you trying to be a badass or something?!" Rider asked as he turned his head sideways.
"Rider you know who I am right?" I asked trying to reach him.
"Of course I do! You're the one who caused his parents to die!" Rider yelled as the flames grew stronger.
"That may be true, but I'm also your ally and Blizzards friend." I said trying to stay calm while the two princesses were staring like deer in the headlights.
"Speaking of 'Allies' where is your little puppy?" Rider asked with a bit of baby talk.
"He's not here right now so we can just talk this out peacefully..." I began before I was interrupted by two loud screams behind me.
"WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO YOUR ARM?!" Celestia yelled with horror in her voice.
"What do you mean my......arm" I said as I looked at my right arm only to see something I was hoping for. My finger bones were slowly starting to rise to the surface and press against my skin.
"Oh? This is gonna be good." Rider said as he sat down cross legged and watched.
"You've seen it before so wh...." I started to say until the bones started popping out of my skin very painfully. "AAAAAGGGHHH!!" I yelled as blood started pouring out of the wounds.
"You saw that Blizzard went through what he recalled when he first used me. So now I guess it's your turn." Rider said with glee in his voice.
Then before I could respond I felt the rest of my bones ripping through my skin very slowly causing me to scream my head off.
"Aunt Celestia I'm scared..." Cadence said as she clung to Celestia while the two watched on in horror as my skeleton began covering me until there was nothing but the skull left.
After the rest of the bones were exposed and waiting for the final piece I knew what I had to do.
"Fine finish it..... GRIMSTONE!!!!" I yelled out with all of my energy as the skull began forming as I was quickly covered in a purple mist for thirty seconds.
"Well well well it sure is good to be back..." A dark and deep voice said as the mist began to disappear revealing the one I had wished for the most in this situation.
"This is gonna be fun. So how should we do this? A.) We fight to our hearts content or B.) We let those two behind you be nice to our friends for a change." Rider said with a serious tone.
"Hehehe. How about we let them decide." Grimstone said as he turned around and crouched in front of them showing his fangs. "So ladies which will it be?"
