[chapter 2]

(Where we last left off Rara Belle-Pie just finished watching her favourite show and from it she heard that Monarch Masquerade was visiting Ponyville for a few days, so she decides to ask her "sister" if she and Tom could go and see her.)

Rara Belle-Pie eventually made it to Pinkamina's room and knocked on the door.

"Come in" was the monotone reply.

"Um Pinkamena? I-i um just want to say um..." Rara never got to finish as Pinkamena had finished for her by saying," You want to go to Ponyville don't you?" in her usual monotone.

"Y-yes I do, I heard from the t.v that she was going to visit, can I go? Please?" Rara said.

"alright then, just try to return home by nightfall,understood?" Pinkamina said.

"R-really!? Oh thank you so much Pinkamina!" Rara says happily before hugging her sister and then leaving the house.

Rara and Tom made there way to Ponyville as quickly as they could, they've been there before so finding their way wasn't difficult, however the journey there was long and it took Rara a long time to get to Ponyville,thankfully she made it there in time for her idol's visit. 

"we made it... " Rara Belle-Pie  says to Tom who said nothing in response. 

"oh Tom, don't be scared, let's go find Monarch Masquerade" Rara Belle-Pie says as she heads further into Ponyville.

All of a sudden a Rara hears a voice say,"Pardon me Dearie but Who are you talking to? "

The voice came from right behind Rara, so she had to turn around to see who it was was. When she did she couldn't believe it. It was Monarch Masquerade herself. 

"Y-your M-monarch Masquerade! " Rara Belle says. 

"Indeed I am,  I was just taking a little walk and I just happened to be passing by and I heard your conversation to well.., your rock there and I figured you needed to talk with somepony. " Monarch Masquerade said. 

Rara Belle-Pie giggled then said"oh that's my friend Tom, he is my only friend really... "

"Oh my..., I think I can see why, do you wish to have another friend? " Monarch Masquerade said. 

"W-who? " Rara said. 

Monarch chuckles then says," well why not we start with me? "

"W-what!? You? But you're famous.. " Rara says. 

"I may be famous but I'm still just a normal mare. I think you and I can be good friends despite your shyness and besides,  I feel like we've already been friends for years although we only met today." Monarch said. 

"I guess so... " Rara said. 

"Dearie? Can I tell you something? " Monarch said. 

"hmm? " Rara says. 

"I was just like you a long time ago,  shy with no friends and bullied by those who don't care what my feelings are but guess what?  I never let that bother me. I can tell from looking at you that you've never experienced a good friendship so today I'll be your first friend." Monarch Masquerade explained. 

"T-thank you miss Monarch, I-I'm Rara by the way." Rara said. 

"Rara,  what a nice name you have. " Monarch said. 

"Thank you " Rara said. 

"your welcome, Rara I must go,  but before I do here have this. " Monarch Masquerade says right as she gives Rara Belle-Pie an autograph. 

Rara happily takes the autograph, thanks Monarch and then says her goodbyes then heads home happy that not only did she meet her idol she had made her first true friend...
