The song starts with all the Mane Six and friends fighting Changelings, followed by Chrysalis looking forward, resolutely. 

Cut to the Wonderbolts flying over Canterlot, and the Mane Six running across the street together. Twilight gets ahead of them, and is then seen on top of her castle looking out excitedly as friends also do so in various places in Ponyville, while Thorax (Normal) stands on an image of the Changeling Empire Emblem. Thorax is then shown walking in a foggy setting with his new form with an orb next to him showing scenes of the chapters. He then starts running as the screen flashes. 

The scene changes to Faust running, followed by Dai Shen Long punching a Drake in the Prisoner, Knight clashing with Sleipnir in the courtyard, Star Swirl unleashing his magic, Amore, Ace and Clover inside store room, and Faust activating Rainbow Power as she faces off against Miasma. 

Back at Ponyville, Twilight exits her castle and sees her friends approaching her before cutting back to a stormy land with a shadowed walking fortress, where several members of the Chrysalis Hive are seen. The Consortium are shown as Governor Court smiles. Then flashcards of Cadance, Flurry Heart, Shining Armor, Pillars of Equestria, Celestia, Luna, and Faust. 

Shining Armor seals all escape routes before engaging Ryoma in a duel.

Cut to the Kaiser's minions in their Battle Modes, showing off enhanced abilities and a shadowed Battle Mode Kaiser. It then goes to Chrysalis Hive, lining up Ryoma, Stussy, Buzzer, Cicada, Pharnyx, and Tech in front of a shadowed Battle Form Kaiser. It then moves to show Pupa and a giant amount of love energy.

The opening finally cuts back to Ponyville, panning over the Mane Six and friends standing in a line with smiling Twilight at the end of it.
