The next morning Thom and Luci awoke from their slumber. Applejack told them that she needed some help on the farm and Fluttershy needed some help with the animals.
"Ill, go help the Pegasus", Luci told them and she quickly took off running to meet Fluttershy.
"Well alrigh then, OK Thom the south fields need to be cleared. Think ya up for it."
"Why not" was all Thom could reply. It was a lot bigger than Thom thought it would be, the south fields span approximately 10 acres. Sighing he set to work picking apples. He was just getting done with the 10th yard when lunch was called. Setting the last apple he had picked into its basket he ran towards the food.
Luci arrived at Fluttershy's cottage and the Pegasus was already waiting for her.
"Hello, Luci ready to help me with the animals"? She asked her.
"Uh yeah let's do it", Luci replied.
"OK so Mr. Bear needs some help getting food for the winter, and Mrs. Groundhog is expecting children, so they must have a warm, cozy place for the winter after they're born".
"Guess I'm going fishing then", Luci chuckled.
It was mid-evening when Luci decided to go back to the farm. She told Fluttershy thanks for the day and set off towards the farm. Thom by that point was now getting done with the 10000th yard of apple trees. He decided to call it a night, setting what he gathered thus far in the food storage, he went in for dinner. He was greeted by Luci who had dried mud on the bottom of her boots'. She saw him looking,
"I went fishing", she told him.
Thom chuckled to himself, Luci had been the more nature loving between the two of them. He was the city type of person. Eating their supper which was apple-themed, oddly enough. Then, Applejack told them that Twilight wanted to see them tomorrow, then the twins turned in for the night.
