After walking for a few more mins going down the dirt path in the middle of the woods. Luke caught eye on a path, it was mostly fine rock stone that went right up a little hill. He then got to the edge of the stone path, it almost look as if it was built last year. He started to look around, and again his eye caught on a sign that says.

"I guess this path takes me to PonCivil, interesting path they made to" Luke began to walk down the stone path as it was only one min walk as he saw a small settlement below. Lights were still on as it was a pretty good small size settlement, it looked to be a population for forty-five ponies. "Woah talk about good size hehe" as Luke walks down he notices stone walls surrounding the place, as he got close. He was face with a small three size pony gate as one little window from the door began to open.
"Hello stranger you, new around here?" said the pony on the other side of the gate as Luke saw only half of the pony's face peering for the little wooden door window.
"Yeah, just trying to find a place to stay if you got a place". Luke liked how kind this guy sound, as the gate open to review a unicorn pony with short blonde mane, with a eye patch on his right eye, he had red coat fur with a short tail, he also carried a pistol on his belt. He even worn a dark green jacket with a grey rag hood over his head.
"Well i might be able to help you there stranger" he said pushing the gate door wider, and waves Luke to follow.
As Luke followed the red fur coat unicorn through the small settlement. There was a big bar down the path, mostly after he pass the gate. He saw lots of built metal, and wood shacks.
"Over here is the lovely bar of ours, one of the greatest biggest building we ever built to keep the entertainment going around here" unicorn said as the bar itself was pretty big. It look to have a second floor as well. "Its also where you can get a one free shack key" he said with a smile.
"You serious?" Luke ask as if he kidding or not.
"Well new members can stay for one day, then you have to pay hundred caps a week." He said guiding Luke to the bar door.
Both Luke, and the unicorn walked to the bar. There was music being played, that old prewar music as Luke heard it before. "Oh names Reed there ,and you are.?" Reed ask Luke for his name now, as Reed look at him with a smile.
"Its um, Luke Anders" he said, then heard a yell from behind the bar table.
"Hey Reed you going to come order something Its almost closing time baby." the bartender had light blue coat fur, with curly orangie hair, and had a mole on her cheek ,as she wearied a white, blackish dress, with even a blue cap. Luke, and Reed walk to the table, and sat on the stools.
"So what can i do for you today Mr.?" she ask looking at Luke as he sat down.
"He needs a place to sleep for the night Mrs. J" Reed said as Luke felt he could of said that on his own but it didn't matter now. J nod, and put a key in front of Luke also with a paper form.
"Just sign your name right there, and you get your free shack for the day." J picked up a whiskey cup as she cleaned it with her hoofs as J smiled. Luke began to sign his name on the list of ponies that live here on this list too.
"So what brings you to our settlement. Like i know you just wanted a place to spend the night, and all but." Reed was going to continue to speak, but got cut off by Luke.
"Just getting away from home. I thought it would be the best that way." Luke put a hoof on his chin ,as he lean forward on the bar table.
"oh i see well. I hope you can stay long, The Wasteland not always safe." he said ,as J gives him a Apple Whisky bottle.
"There you go hon ,that's your tip for the night." J walk around back as she was closing the bar for the night, since it was getting late out. Reed chucks down a few chugs of whisky as he puts down the bottle.
"We are actually having trouble...We have raider problems." Reed looks at Luke, and Luke looks back at him.
"What type of troubles.?" he ask wondering what type of troubles this town is having.
"Well first of all raiders keep barging for food, they even want some of caps, Ponies around the settlement are scare to do anything to fight back." Luke kept listening to Reed's talking. "Its been going on since the bucking... New Order came, and taking part of the raiders in Ponyvill. Plus we have foals here. We can't do anything, we just watch them take what we have, and they just go for a month". Luke just turn his head a bit looking down at the table.
"It must be ruff." Luke finally said as he looks at Reed again.
"it been ruff months plus, our singer where ever she is was suppose to show last month for a singing concert in the bar. She never showed which was strange to all of us, but when the raiders came there were lots of them, and they took off again on the same day she was suppose to arrive."
Luke then spoke "Do you think the raiders, and the New Order had something to do with her not showing." Reed nods
"i'm starting to wonder if that's true, but everypony says she tough, but we start wonder if she was kept as a slave to those raiders for something." They both start to wonder in there minds as they were both thinking that she was taken. "But don't worry everypony going to be with the boss tomorrow to have a talk. There just a thing ponies are thinking now that somepony should stop these raiders." Reed finishing his speaking and then puts two caps on the bar table next to the whisky bottle. They both had there goodbyes, as Luke went out of the bar with his key, as he walked up stone steps to his shack as it took time to find but finds it finally as he unlocks it with his key.
"wow small but interesting." The small big room was small with a bed on the right side, as the was a couch, and a old rust fridge. Luke takes off his jacket laying it on the rail at the end of the bed as he puts his bag, and rifle under the bed. Luke sat on the bedside as he rubs his eyes with his hoofs, its been a long night for him as he finally lay down on the bed looking up at the ceiling. The wasteland was so new to him, then the present, before the fricken war. After a few mins Luke begins to shut his eyes as he falls asleep in the bed.
The next morning Luke heard knocking as he jump out of bed as the knocks were loud as he quickly putted on his Jacket, and getting his bag, rifle from under the bed. 'Come in!" Luke yelled as the door swing the open as Reed walked in.
"Sorry to wake you but everypony is up talking to the boss right now". Luke quickly grab his bag, and ran down to the bar with Reed to get to everypony to see what's up.
