As we landed in Traverse Town we went straight to Geppetto’s home. I knocked on the door. “Mr. Geppetto?” I asked as he opened the door.
“Ah Huxley what can I do you for?” he asked as I handed him the note from Celestia “Hmm what's this?” he asked as he read. “Well then It’ll take a week or two to get your ship like this Celestia wants and it will be expensive.” He said.
“Well she is willing to pay any price to make her sister whole...plus she keeps the ship after we find her,” I said.
“That could be a problem...not for building the gummi ship just a problem in general.” He said.
“What could be?” Moondancer asked.
“The fact Celestia wants to keep the gummi ship it could be a problem in the future,” I said.
They both looked insulted when I say that “How dare you imply that of the Princess!” Gleaming said.
“Look I’m saying that sometimes the best intentions have the worst outcomes.” I said as they still looked insulted “Okay let me give an example when she tried to cure Luna of her darkness when she became the heartless Nightmare moon, she used the elements of Harmony with the best intentions and what resulted from that was a thousand years of loneliness.” I said as they looked at each other confused.
Before they could speak Geppetto coughed and I turned to him “Yes well as I was saying the Gummi ship should be built in a week or two.”
I nodded and asked, “Is it alright if we take the ship back to Equestria to get the payment then pay you.”
“Sorry it's not that I don’t trust you its just I need to make sure that the payment is delivered and what's stopping you from just taking the ship?” he asked.
Moondancer was about to argue that but I said “That's fair.” I said as Moondancer and Gleaming looked at me confused. “there really is nothing stopping us from taking it and you don’t know us well enough to say otherwise.” I said, “So how about this you join us on our voyage back to Equestria and we get your payment there before we bring you back via the warp.” I said.
He thought about it for a moment before saying “All right but one of you stays behind.”
“Alright then,” I said.
Two weeks passed as we helped Lightning with her duties around the town. But as the time came I boarded the ship with Moondancer and Geppetto and we were off “Alright let's take the new Excaliburn for a test run to Equestria.” I said.
As we flew through space we were going faster than we had gone with the old Excaliburn we got to Equestria in half the time. As we arrived above the world I took it in to and head towards Canterlot Castle. When we hovered above the castle we tried to land but as we got close the guards fired upon us. “What are they doing?” Moondancer asked.
“Moondancer take the controls I’ll talk to them,” I said as I quickly got to the end of the ship and opened the bay door.
“Huxley what are you doing?” Moondancer asked.
“Making it clear what happens when they attack my ship.” I said putting on a wireless headset and jumping out “Cockpit can you hear me?” I asked as I fell to the ground.
Geppetto answered, “Uh yes I can hear you why are they firing upon us?”
As I landed I answered his question “I’ll find out soon” I said as guards surrounded me.
The Captain of the guard walked up and said “You and your airship surrender.”
I stood up and stared at the captain of the guard “Slight problem with your logic that's not my ‘airship’ it belongs to Celestia.” I said as the captain grabbed me.
“Yeah, right I’d know if that belonged to Celestia.” The captain said.
I summoned my keyblade and Knocked him down before running towards the castle “Moondancer Are you back at the controls?” I asked.
It took a second before Moondancer answered “Yes why?”
“I need you to fire the fira cannons at the ground to scatter the guards,” I said as I dodged a guards tackle.
In the cockpit, Moondancer was looking for the button to fire the Fira cannons Geppetto got up and pointed to a button. “It should be right here,” he said.
“Right firing now,” she said as she hit the buttons.
“Good now try not to aim for them my heart couldn't take it,” Geppetto said as the cannons hit the ground scattering the guards and giving me an opportunity to run into the castle.
Inside the castle, I was being pursued by some guards including the guard captain. “Stop!” the captain ordered. As I was nearly to the throne room when the captain tackled me down. “You want to see Celestia so much let see her so she can give you a quick verdict for attacking the castle.” The captain said as two guards picked me up and dragged me into the courtroom where Celestia was talking to a group of people. “Princess this vandal used an airship to attack the castle.”
Celestia looked away from the people she was talking to see me being held by two guards. “Huxley why?”
“I was coming to deliver your ship but your guards attacked us,” I said as she sighed.
“And the ship firing upon the guards?” she asked.
“I had to scatter them so I could get inside,” I answered.
She put her hand on her head “Guards let him go and let the ship land.” she said.
“But Princess-” The captain said.
“No buts captain Armor that's my ship he’s piloting and I don’t want to have to pay for it to be repaired before I get it,” she ordered.
The captain sighed as he said “You heard the princess let him go.” as the two guards let me go.
“Thank you.” I said as I contacted Moondancer “Hey Moondancer can you hear me?” I asked as Celestia looked confused.
“Yeah, I hear you.” She said.
“You can land now.” I told her as I hung up. “Sorry I have a communicator in my ear.” I said. Celestia look interested when I told her than and a little disappointed when I didn’t explain what it was. As we walked to the courtyard I explained that the Gummi ship maker came to Equestria to get his payment in person.
As we entered the courtyard there were people trying to get a good look at the gummi ship as we walked out and met with Moondancer and Geppetto who were getting out of the ship. “Hello there.” Celestia greeted.
“Ah hello there,” Geppetto said.
“Shall we talk inside?” Celestia asked as Geppetto nodded and we all went inside the castle. Inside the castle, Geppetto handed Celestia a piece of paper with how much it cost. “15400 bits?” she asked.
“Yes you did ask for top-tier items and those don’t come cheap my dear.” He said.
“Actually I’m surprised it's the lower then I thought I was worried I would have to dip into some more personal funds,” she said as she brought out a medium sized chest with the bits inside. “Here you go Mr. Geppet, too.”
“Well thank you,” he said as guards carried the chest to the ship as Geppetto followed.
“Now Huxley I want you to meet the crew of your new ship.” She said as I was confused. “Every ship needs a crew,” she said as a few people came out that I recognized as the people she was talking to when I was brought in by the guards. “First up is the best airship Pilot in Equestria Jet Flash,” she said pointing to the young woman.
“Honor to meet the captain of the ship.” She said.
“Second is the best engineer in Equestria Red Green,” She said pointing to an old man
“You don’t fix everything with duct tape do you?” I asked as he looked like Red Green from the Red Green show.
“Only when I need to,” he said.
“The other two are his apprentices whom will help with the maintenance.” Celestia finished.
“It's nice to meet you,” they said in unison which creeped me out a bit.
“Well then shall I show you the ship?” I asked as they nodded and followed me to the Excaliburn. “This is the Excaliburn,” I said as we got on as the guards left the ship.
“The treasure is safely onboard Princess.” the guard said.
“Thank you,” she said as we all got on.
As Geppetto lead us to the engine room where the three looked at the engine in wonder “Well I’ve never seen an engine like this before but I do love a challenge.” Red said.
“I’ll take us to the control room,” I said leaving Red and his apprentices to study the engine.
“If you don’t mind I would like to fly us for the start of this journey,” I asked as Jet Flash looked insulted.
“I’m the ace pilot here I’ll fly.” She said.
“Okay, whats the height we need to head to Traverse Town?” I asked.
“The standard Airship height is around 2500 feet in the air and I’ve never heard of Traverse Town.” Jet Flash said.
“That's what I thought let me get us to the appropriate height before you take control,” I said.
“No I’m going to do what I was hired to do,” she argued.
“Moondancer,” I said
“Yes, Huxley?”
“Open the map,” I ordered as she did as I asked.
As the map opened Jet looked confused. “This isn’t a map of the world what is it?” she asked.
“This,” I said pointing to Traverse Town. “Is where we are heading and this” I pointed to Equestria “Is where we are.”
Jet was more confused. “Wha-?” she said.
“Look just let me pilot for a short bit then it’ll make sense to you,” I said.
When everything I started the ship and gave an announcement over the ship's intercom “Alright Red you and the two others better be buckled up because we're about to launch.”
“Roger that Huxley we’re strapped in,” Red said.
“Good now let's fly,” I said as we began to hover before we flew into the sky.
Mere moments later we were flying above the required flight recommendation and Jat made this known “Were a little too high might want to take us down a bit.” She said.
“NO can do we’re about to break free,” I said as we exited the world.
“Whoa.” Jet said looking outside. “Were-”
“In space.” I finished before turning on the intercom “Red you want to come here and see the view?” I asked. A few moments later Red and his two apprentices came up and were blown away by the view. After a few minutes of looking I gave Jet the chair and I sat in the captain's chair while Red and the apprentices went back to the engine room. “Jet stream activate the warp to Traverse Town.” I ordered
“Huh?” she asked as Geppetto got up to point at a button.
“You want to press this button and the move this to the destination on the map then press the button again,” Geppetto said before going back to his seat.
“Alright then,” she said doing as he told her before the ship jumped from orbiting Equestria to orbiting Traverse Town.
“Alright, Jjet take it in for a landing,” I said as she nodded and took us in for a landing.
As we landed I ordered that Jet Flash, Moondancer, and Red Green stay on the ship while taking the two apprentices to get Geppetto’s chest to his house. “You two with me,” I ordered as they grabbed the chest and followed me and Geppetto to his house.
As we walked we passed Gleaming who looks like she was ready to head out. “Oh Huxley good we can leave,” she said.
“Well, we still have to drop off this chest off at Geppetto’s place.” I said as she looked down “But you are free to head to the ship.” I said as she ran off in the direction we came from before we kept on walking.
As soon as we got to Geppetto's place Pinocchio jumped at him “Papa.” He said as Geppetto laughed.
“How have you been today Pinocchio?” he asked.
“Fine Miss Lightning said I was helpful,” Pinocchio said.
“Don’t worry there was no heartless today so we just wandered the town and had some ice cream,” she said smiling.
“Where do you want your payment?” I asked as the two apprentices looked like they were ready to drop it.
“Just leave it here we will sort it out later.” He said as the apprentices dropped the chest.
“That must have cost you an arm and a leg.” Lightning said.
“Not really I had a world leader pay for it out of her own pocket,” I said.
“What?” she said angrily.
“Whoa take it easy she knows what she paid for,” I said as Lightning calmed down.
“Alright then,” she said walking off.
“Thank you for everything Mr. Geppetto,” I said as we took off back to the gummi ship.
Back at the ship, we prepared everything before we took off “Alright Jet get us off this world and Moondancer bring up the map to she she were our next destination is Hollow Bastion where we’ll pick up the supplies for the trip.” I said
