Rose luck started her day opening up her store with her sisters. It is very simple, switch the sign from closed to open, watered the flower that is yet to be sold and have a smile on her face for the customers. Other than that. Everything was just like any other day. And she was getting tired of it. They need to try something new. She needed to sell something new in her store. But what?
She flips the flower magazine catalog on the counter to see what are some new options for flower she can use.
"Let's see Carnations, Peony, Tulips, Scabious, Buttercups-"
"Hey, sis. Are you making a grocery list?" her sister Daisy enter the room of the back of the store. Rose looks at her sister before looking back the catalog.
"No Daisy. I am looking for new merchandise we can sell in the store." she turns the page as Daisy comes close to her with a confused look on her face.
"But what is wrong with the stock we have on hoof?"
Rose shakes her head slightly before she closes the catalog and Looks at Daisy "Nothing is wrong with them. The flowers are good as they are any other day."
"So what is the problem?"
"The problem is that I am tired of seeing the same old flower in the same old place as they were a week ago."
*HUM* "That is not true. I moved the blue tulips from the window display to the shelf on the far side of the store. Three days ago."
Rose pulls a hoof down her face as she recalls *UM* "How can I forget. That little miss place cased Lily to go nuts looking for them all morning. She almost tore up the shop looking for them. I thought we were going to be homeless."
"I said I was sorry."
"Well enough of that." Rose then opens up the catalog again "Now, where was I? Freesia not bad. Ah! here we go." she says as she points to a page in the catalog. Daisy got next to her sister to look.
"What is it?"
"Some red poppies," Rose said with a smile on her face.
Daisy just gets Rose a strange look. "Really? Poppies? You know you can't eat those."
"I know that. They are for decoration use only Daisy. Besides this isn't a restaurant now is it?"
Daisy looks away from her sweating a little "Well..."
Rose her a flare stare "You have been eating the merchandise again haven't you?"
Daisy takes a few steps back as Rose kept up her stare. She sighed before she took her stand against Rose. "They are FLOWERS sis."
"They are also our source of income. Also, I notice that a supply of white roses was filed as damage yesterday, but I haven't seen them. And if my memory is correct you filed that report."
"And what are you getting at?"
"What I am getting at is you just lost your dessert for the next two weeks."
"WHAT! But... no, you can't do that."
"I just did. Now please be a dear and a send this letter out in the mailbox please."
"FIne."
Daisy went to the mailbox. However, before she put it in. She looked around and she is anypony was looking and then open the letter. "This is the order for red poppies seeds." *hum* "Well if she is taking away my dessert for something I didn't do. I might as well have some fun with her."
Three days later.
Depry was going to knock on the flower ponies door to ask for a signature when the door opens up.
"Do you have two packages for us?" Daisy said quietly.
"Yes, one for you and your sister Rose luck."
"Perfect. I will take them." after Daisy sign for the packages. She took them to her room and began her evil scheme.
Later that morning.
"Hay girls has the mail come in yet?" Rose luck said coming from outside.
"I think so," *Bam* Lily said from underneath the counter. *clang* "I believe Daisy got it." *kink* "Almost got it." *clank*
Rose luck came closer to her sister wondering what could she be possibly be doing. "Ah, Lily what are you doing?" she then backed up once water started to shot out from where her sister is currently is. *PIIISISSSSS*
"NO! I had it!"
"Lily you forgot to turn off the water line didn't you?!" Roseluck said running outside to turn off the main water line.
From the inside of the house, she could hear her sister. "NO, I turn it off!"
*Squek**squek**Squek* "There." Roseluck said turning off the water line then entering the house to see her dripping wet sister. "Now what have you to say for yourself."
"That I could save us some bits if I fix the house by myself?" she says wiping her mane away from her face.
"Nice thought but stay away from the tools for now."
Lily stomps out of the lobby to the bathroom. "I never get to do anything around here." *SLAM*
Rose shakes her head slightly makes a note to hire a plumber, and..."Hay Daisy where are you?"
"In the kitchen," Daisy called out. Rose enters the kitchen to see her sister making some sandwiches. She takes a look at the sandwiches and seeing them made out of daisies. She then looks at her sister with a mean look.
"Oh, come now. I made sure that these are the ones we set aside for eating and not selling."
"Whatever. Has the mail come in yet? I am escaping the shipment of the poppies seeds to come in."
"Oh yeah, they came in. Got them out of the box and ready to be planted. They are on the counter over there."
"Thank you."
"You're Welcome." Rose Luck took the seeds outside and began the routine to grow them.
Once they are in the ground Rose luck pats the ground gently. "Now normally you little guys would take 9 to 12 weeks to grow to full size. But since this is a business lets see if we can't speed things up a bit." She then inside and comes back with a small bottle. "Now this little potion I got form Zacora earlier. just a drop can cause the growth of a plant to speed up." She then takes the bottle and a drop of the potion into a watering can. Then she started to water the seeds and in no time they started to grow into bubs. "There now. By tomorrow you all should be fully grown and ready to harvest." Rose luck then pick up the watering can and goes inside, not knowing that Daisy was around the corner of the house waiting.
"I knew she would bring that out." Daisy then went to the bottle and switch it with a similar looking one. "Now with this. Things are going to get interesting."
The next day.
Rose came outside to see her little poppies have bloomed into beautiful red flowers. "Ahh. Look at you guys. All grown and ready for sale. Wait right there while I get my tools." Rose then went back inside. Once again not knowing that Daisy was waiting around the corner with bulging saddlebags.
She smiles evilly at the red poppies "I got to be quick."
Once Rose Luck came back outside with her small shovels and pots. She stops in the doorway. She stares at her poppies for a second. Closes the door and opens it again to see if she was seeing things. She wasn't. Her poppies have turned from a bright red to a bright yellow. "What?" she grabs the water hose and hoses them down to see if they were just painted yellow. No, they weren't. "But." *EEEEEERRRRRR* "I got to start all over."
Rose luck proceeded to uproot the yellow poppies and replant the red poppies. "It is a good thing that I got plenty of seeds."
Once completed she added more of the potion to the seeds and notice that half was missing. *HUH* "I couldn't have used that much. Could I?" she shrugged and added more of the potion to the watering can, this time enough for them to be fully grown. "There now. Now all I have to do is-"
*KABOOOM*
Rose look back at the house to see smoke coming from inside. she went inside to see that it was coming from the Kitchen. "LILY what do you do this time?!" She yelled in the house running into the kitchen.
Meanwhile, Daisy snickers to herself as she proceeded to replace the poppies again.
Once the fire was taken care of Rose went to check on her poppies again only to find that once again that they are yellow. She walks slowly to the flower away and pushed one slightly. She then tapped the ground a few times. "Maybe the soil is bad?" she said to herself.

Still needing to make a profit Rose took the yellow poppies into the store and was able to sell half of them before closing time. The next when Rose was opening up the store she found to her surprise four saddlebags worth of red poppies in the closet. Her eye was twitching as she stares at her missing flowers. And Lily unknown of her sister's rage went to talk to her.
"Rose. I have to speak with you."
"..."
"I have had it to here with the way you and Daisy treat me."
"..."
"I am not a foal anymore. I can take care of myself and I can... are you listening to you me?"
"Oh, Lily."
"Yes?"
She then turns to look at her sister with a small smile on her face. "Did you know that my red poppies are in this closet did yah?" Lily nodded yes without thinking about it "Did yah?" Lily then realize what her sister said and shook her head no fast in her mistake. She was then scared to the floor by her sister's rage. "MY POPPIES ARE IN THE CLOSET!" Rose then grab her sisters head and pulled her in close. "Now quit screwing around and take half of these and start selling them. I got to replant the other half so that they can be used later. Got it?"
"Got it," Lily said in a quiet voice and went to do as she was told.
Rose grabs the remaining poppies and to them outside but stop when she got to the garden patch.
"Every time I plant these here they are somehow switched with yellow poppies." she taps her chin a few times before an idea comes to her. "I got it. I will just plant them around the house. That way they can still be nearby and I might just find the one doing this." Rose luck begins to plant the red poppies on the left side of the doorway and then makes her way around the building.
However, once halfway done Daisy comes outside and starts replacing the red poppies with yellow ones. She was on the other side of the building by the time Rose luck got to the doorway. Her smile at her hard work turned into a frown once she spotted the yellow poppies. Seeing as she still has more red poppies she begins to replace the yellow fiends with red poppies. This little cycle of changing poppies continue on as both sisters increase their planting speed to get rid of the other flower. they began to go so fast that they became a blur of colors running around the building. Daisy steeps lightly out of the madness leaving her sister to continue to go in circles unaware that she no longer is planting red poppies, but yellow ones. Becuase Daisy took all of Rose luck red poppies when they running around. She calmly walks away leaving Rose luck to tire herself out. By the time Rose luck has stopped the whole building was surrounded by yellow poppies.
"That" *huha* "Is" *huha* "Not" * huha* "Possible" Rose luck said before she collapses on the floor.
It was the end of the day and the girls just finished closing the store and was settled down for dinner. Lily was serving the drinks. Daisy was setting the table. And Rose hasn't shown up yet.
"Hay Daisy where is Rose?"
"Not so sure myself. She was still tending her garden the last time I saw her. She seems a little frustrated at something."
"Is it about those red poppies she was trying to plant earlier?
"Maybe, But she looks her way home she comes back once she gets hungry."
*CREAK* SLAM*
"See, there she is now."
"Hi, the- GOOD Celestia Rose!"
Both sisters turned to she Rose luck covered in dirt, rocks, and flowers of all kinds. Her coat and mane were a mess. And Rose luck herself seems all to happy with a smile on her face.
"Oh hi girls," she said with a small twitch in her left eye.
Lily went to her sister giving her a look over to see if she is seriously injured. Thankfully she found no signs of needing to go to the hospital. "Rose what happen?" She asks her as she pulled a twig from Rose's mane.
Rose calmly walk around her sister and took a seat at the table. "Funny story that is. Did you know that if you add too much of the quick grow formula on the same soil within three days it can cause a small life in the ground to grow into the size of a pony?"
Lily and Daisy looked at each other before replying at the same time."No."
"Well, it did. And I got chased around town by the fastest insect in the world. Once I ditch it near the Ever free I want back to my garden to see if there was another way of growing poppies. I then used a new water hose adapter to spray the seeds of the poppies and the formula at the same time on any surface I wanted. I was growing red poppies left and right until the now broken adapter burst in my hooves and covered me in red poppies. I then spend the next hour pulling the flowers off of me. Then before long, I was running from that bug again. It took an hour before Rainbow Dash was able to squish it. Few more things happen to be before I got here, but I don't want to talk about it."
"All right," Lily said as she gave Rose her drink. Which she drank in a gulp.
*Ah* "But what I want to talk about is the Yellow poppies."
Daisy body stiffens as Rose said that. She only meant what happen earlier with the poppies to be a harmless joke. She had no idea that Rose was going to go through what she did today. She can only imagine what she has in store for her if she found out that she started all of this. "What about them?'
"Well, it occurs to me that if all that has happened today was some ponies idea of a prank. However, they would have needed to know ahead of time that I was going to get red poppies and have the yellow poppies ready for when I planted the red ones. Furthermore, I know that we are the only ponies around here that sells poppies so they could have bought them here because we only have red ones. And I know that no pony around here would have been able to replace said poppies with such care as these were to make it look like I planted yellow ones instead of red ones."
Rose then turned to face Daisy who was shaking like a leaf. "Then I remember that I only ever told one pony that I was going to get red poppies. If it was a joke how would Rainbow or Pinkie know what Kind of species of flower I was getting." Rose then started walking towards Daisy, who was now walking slowly away from her. "Daisy you would have happen be planting anything in the garden today have you?"
"Nnnno."
"Then Why is there a red poppy on your mane?" *Hum*
Daisy looked at her mane to see one small red poppy stuck in her mane. She trying to find a way out of the room but now realize that Rose Luck has cornered her. "Becuase I like them" *he hee*
"Daisy your favorite color is yellow, not red."
*Gulp*
"Daisy it is time to reap what you have sowed."
