The blood of innocents paint the grounds of the earth, Equestria, and all kingdoms scared by a war that seems hopeless and one-sided. Millions upon millions of unmarked graves and bodies rotted or turned into darkness minions, this war became a massacre. Lord Darkness's army marches destroying all who dare to go against them, Lord lights hearts heavy with sadness and grief that the creatures he and his brother swore to protect now being slaughtered by his brother's hand. 

Lord Lights army small in numbers has had some wins like the battle of the clouds, Ghastly last stand against the shadow eels. Even after those small battles, the life forms left are in hand full of hundreds, This forsaken war has to end the planet choking on blood, the plants dying, the earth freezing and so are its inhabitants with little food and water left after lord darkness turned the crops and streams into creatures of destruction and horror. Lord Darkness and Mistress darkness gave birth to a child an alicorn named Prince Darkness but strange enough there spawn does not wish to kill or harm just to be peaceful soon they have to get rid of there own son.

Lord Light tired of this war gathered all remaining troops and decided to make one final strike to the castle of shadows. All life forms from the dragon, to pony, to yaks and griffins, and all other remaining creatures that were left marching to the final battle Lord light dressed in his helmet of shine, his shield of the sun, and the most powerful item in all of Equestria, the sword of light but the sword has a brother the sword of darkness there both equally powerful but destructive on there owns or when they strike each other.

The army of light reached the castle of shadows but the army of darkness was waiting for them and soon it became a clash of darkness and light, good and evil, sun and the moon. The two armies fight in the smoke of roars, screams, blood splatter, and bodies laying on the ground. Soon lord light and darkness faced each other there weapons at hand and armor ready for a final battle as they charge each other the ground shakes of a thousand earthquakes and when their swords of light and darkness clash a massive boom blew back all forces as the two brothers sword fight in an epic battle for the fate of this world and future generations, Lord Light knew that if he lost all life will perish and darkness and death shall rule the land for all eternity and that is something that he cannot allow.

Lord Light pinned his brother and pleaded to him one last time to surrender and stop this war we can go back to the way things were before, But with hate, Lord Darkness roared that he will never stop till all life forms who love his precious light will die and his night shall eternally rule. Lord Darkness throws Lord light off him and is ready to charge for a blow and with tears in his eyes lord light clapped both hands together and pulls them apart making a spear of light and with a mighty throw he stabbed one of his own brother's heart and Lord darkness's body falls apart making him a spirit of his former self. With Lord darkness power in half Lord light cursed his brother to be trapped in his own creation for all eternity, and as soon as the curse was made the moon shook and cracked as it opened and light from inside shined upon Lord Darkness and he was lifted into the sky growing closer and closer to the moon and with a final breath he said this with a mighty roar of anger and low booming voice,  

"I shall return pests of this world and when I do I shall claim my body and restore my power to its all-mighty glory and when I do I shall finish what I started and whipping you all out and making this a realm of darkness and shadows!".
