The crystal was glowing in Celestia's room. Celestia had gone for a function and nopony dared to enter her room without her permission. The crystal kept glowing. Soon it exploded and the ponies who were passing her room got startled. Soon it got quiet again and they continued to do their duties.
A little foal had appeared on Celestia's bed. The foal didn't open it's eyes and just slept. A few minutes later, it had completely hidden in the blanket. After 2 hours, Celestia opened the door and walked inside. She went to the balcony and raised the moon. She smiled at it and then came back inside. She went outside again to have a bath. She came back after a few minutes and brushed her mane. Finally she got into bed and started to sleep.
The foal got up and yawned. She saw Celestia sleeping next to her.
"Mama!" The foal cried. Celestia's ear twitched. "Mama! Mama!" She said, Poking her Repeatedly. Celestia was getting a little annoyed. "Mama! Mama! Mama!" She cried, getting annoyed as well. Celestia pushed her and slept again.
The foal became furious and shouted in the "royal canterlot voice". "MAMA!!" The shout was so loud that many ponies living near the castle woke up as well. Celestia got up and the foal started smiling.
"Huh?" Celestia said looking left and right for the pony who called her "mama" and woke her up. Something hugged her hoof and she looked down to see a foal. "What in Equestria?" Celestia said, confused to see a foal in her bed.
"Mama, me hungwy." The foal said. Celestia was gonna call her maid to take the foal away, but something in her heart made her lift the foal in her hoofs and run to the royal kitchen. She put her on the counter and opened the fridge. The foal saw a cookie jar and her mouth started watering. "Cookie, mama! Cookie!" She cried. Celestia sighed and used her magic to bring down the cookie jar and opened it. The foal took it and started munching on the cookies. After 5 cookies the foal yawned.
"Somepony looks sleepy." Celestia said as she put the cookie jar back and lifted the foal again. She teleported to her bedroom and got a crib for her. She put her in the crib.
"Lullawy?" The foal asked. Celestia looked at her and sighed. She cleared her throat and began to sing.
Fate has been cruel and order unkind
How can I have sent you away?
The blame was my own; the punishment, yours
The harmony's silent today
But into the stillness I'll bring you a song
And I will your company keep
Till your tired eyes and my lullabies
Have carried you softly to sleep
Once did a pony who shone like the sun
Look out on her kingdom and sigh
She smiled and said, "Surely, there is no pony
So lovely and so well beloved as I"
So great was her reign and so brilliant her glory
That long was the shadow she cast
Which fell dark upon the young sister she loved
And grew only darker as days and nights passed
Soon did that pony take notice that others
Did not give her sister her due
And neither had she loved her as she deserved
She watched as her sister's unhappiness grew
But such is the way of the limelight, it sweetly
Takes hold of the mind of its host
And that foolish pony did nothing to stop
The destruction of one who had needed her most
Lullaby moon princess, goodnight sister mine
And rest now in moonlight's embrace
Bear up my lullaby, winds of the earth
Through cloud, and through sky, and through space
Carry the peace and the coolness of night

She smiled at the sleeping foal and went to bed.
