"In space where the darkness is pierced by the light of countless stars. In one sector of this endless void lies a planet. This planet is filled with life both big and small. From the far plains, to the highest peak to deepest parts of the ocean. This wonderous planet is called Equus. In Equus lies many diffrent kinds of people of varying size, cultures and strength. From the massive dragons, to the smallest breezies. These creatures roam this planet living there lives as they see fit. Sadly they are unaware that something will change their lives forever. It all started during the coronation of Princess Twilight Sparkle. A recently ascended alicorn of the ponies of Equestria, a land filled with magic, friendship, and a surprising amount monsters and danger. I can think of a few reasons why but it's currently unimportant.
Everything was going beautifully well. There was a huge crowds, the citizens were cheering loudly, and weather was clear. All until said great evil appeared during the coronation ala a massive oval size gate that is eminenting darkness appeared out of nowhere. Coming out from said gate is a massive humanoid wearing a purple robe with a bit of golden armor mainly on the shoulder area and top chest. His skin is has dark as night with red glowing eyes that is filled with nothing but evil. He lacks legs as this being floats with his evil powers. He and his men who were born out of his dark magic from the dead remains of deceased warriors. They come in many different sizes, armor, and races tho they were mostly bipedal and equine in body structure. They came from space to dominate Equus with an iron dark fist! Very shortly after they started their invasion has more dark rifts all around Canterlot.
The land's only hope are Princess Celestia, ruler of Equestria, for some reason she is not called a queen for some reason, her sister Princess Luna, her niece Princess Cadence, the newly crowned Princess Twilight, her friends Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, and Applejack. Who were the bearers of the powerful Elements of Harmony including Twilight herself use these stones' incredible powers. There is also Celestia's army as well are backing them up. They are filled with strong soldiers consisting of earth ponies with their great strength, pegasi that roam the sky and unicorns with powerful spells. With Shining Armor as captain of the royal guard, Luna's retainers, one is a unicorn that is said to use his very body as a blade and a strange pegasus with is rumored to be lightning itself. Spitfire leader of the best Pegasi in force known as the Wonderbolts, who also work has entertainers with there incredible air shows. With all these forces, they have the strength to fight back the invaders.
With strength and determination, the Equestria army fought Titan's forces who had the advantage on the Equestrian forces by attacking out of nowhere as they couldn't forsee this outcome. Maybe a nornal attack knowing their track record as of late but not coming from out of nowhere plus the civilians were in the way which makes things more difficult for the Equestrian army a problem when your being sieged but still they fight strong. There was explosions, sounds of swords clashing, fist impacting, and spells cast. As the battle rages, some of Equestria's military transported the innocent civilians out the battlefield. Some of Titan's men took the opportunity to strike harder on the main force since they gave up a couple of there soldiers to protect the people. Cowards, luckily Shining Armor was in the frontlines fighting alongside his men. He has never fought such beings before but that did nothing to waver his resolve nor did his men. Luna's lunar forces also joins in to help.
The Mane Six stood together also fighting off the invaders. Twilight was shooting them down with various spells as she was the most magically focused with a large amount of spells in her hooves. She was.... confused and nervous tho it is understandable. She turned to an Alicorn just last night and was about to be crowned a princess only for invaders to appear out of nowhere. It doesn't help that she seems to have problems adapting to sudden changes in a situation however when Twilight is with her friends. She improves incredibly and her focus hardens.
Rarity was seen supporting her friends despite her magical strength is no where near Twilight's but she makes up for it in her resourcefulness. She backs up her friends with her magic whether it be a bolt of magic, a blinding flash, or telekinesis which she uses on the tapestry around the windows to bind some of Titan's forces. She was appalled by all this violence however. Ruining what was supposed to be an incredible day. As her friend she will not allow these invaders to get there way.
Rainbow Dash was seen knocking the invaders away with her great speed. Speed is her specialty. Brash, cocky, yet very loyal. At the time she was angry for the same reason as Rarity tho she is also enjoying it . She bears a fighter's spirit for combat and sadly very few moments when things like this happen in Equestria. Tho she doesn't let the adrenaline distract her from what is most important which is her friends. Making sure to back them up as much as possible while also fighting as best as she can.
Applejack has been seen bucking the invaders and tying them up with the curtains in the room. Her legs and rope skills are her bread and butter. She was making sure that her friends and family are safe as she fight. It doesn't matter how many their are. For the sake of her friends and family. She will fight a whole army if it means they are safe and all with no magic or weapons. So brave yet rash.
Pinkie was handling the invaders in her own special bizzare way. By shooting cake and streamers at them with her party cannon that came out of nowhere. The cake was surprisingly sticky and is unknown where is she getting them from. I'm surprise how effective it was. Sadden that the coronation was interrupted by the invaders yet it did not frown knowing they will pull through in end. Such a hopeful pony, such a bizzare, strange and hopeful pony.
Fluttershy was seen...pushing invaders and throwing furniture at them as well. I'm surprise she survived tho when moments it looks like it's over for her. The warriors would stop for no reason. if they get too close to her or her friends. She was terrified at the situation. This fear however does not stop her from helping her friends. Despite the fact she should be better off helping civilians than fighting.
Luckily for her Spike, who is Twilight's adoptive brother/son/friend It is not as weird as you think she hatch him from a egg. Where's the mom? That is question that is currently not important. What is important is that he was also assisting his friends despite his age. His green fire breath has increase in power by the adrenaline of the situation. Which helps greatly keeping the invaders at day. He still needed help staying safe so Twilight had a shield created for him.
The battle was getting more and more hectic. Destruction was spreading. Screams were everywhere. Swords clash, spells matched, explosions everywhere! The civilians were confused by it all and can only run from the threat as they loot and pillage everything. The classic villainous siege playing out.
The Wonderbolts, Equestria's best fliers, help Shining Armor and the Royal Guard against the invaders. Their great speed and leadership of Spitfire, cause trouble upon their foes. Along with them are the Lunar Knights, Luna's batish like forces that patrol at night. Every force was needed to fight the invaders off. The Princesses on the other hand, are dealing with the mastermind, Titan and his three elite soldiers. It was a daring clash as the princesses prevent Titan from leaving the throne room where the coronation was taking place to cause more problems with her forces. Sadly, Titan and his three soldiers are overwhelming them but thanks to Twilight's quick thinking she teleported for a few seconds to bring the Elements of Harmony from her treehouse. Powerful stones that have saved the land multiple times.
When the Elements of Harmony was then used against Titan. A huge magical rainbow of pure positive energy targets Titan, but three of his greatest warriors took the blow for him for he would not survive of pure positive of that magnitude. The powerful blast that put them out of commission with its magical energy and were carried away into a portal of dark energy by Titan so they can be healed. Normally the stones' power would pacify their foes. From what I gather is all in the intent of their users. Titan, now knowing how strong the gems are, knockout the bearers and Spike who was in range to unconsciousness with his mighty blast of dark power. If it wasn't for Twilight's and Rarity's barrier, She and her friends would have died right then and there. He then captures them with a black chain embued by his magic.
He then took this opportunity to then knocked out the other princesses and captured them, likely to use them bring fear to the residents and possibly bring out the bravest and dealt them accordingly. They weren't able to fight him back after using up most of there energy to fight him and his soldiers. After that he shows his prisoners to all of of Canterlot to break their spirit and to proclaim to the ponies that if they don't surrender, he will kill one of the princesses.
Equestria's army in heavy hearts choosed to surrender. The ponies were greatly distraught of the fall of their princesses and heroes. They allowed themselves to be chained up and walk to the dark portals that Titan created that leads to his castle, northwest to Canterlot. It wasn't there before and it was theorized that Titan brought it with his magic. As the ponies were being moved to the castle by Titan's men. Titan looked upon the report that one of his men gave him on the results of the battle. They suffer minimal losses but a lot injuries and the same can be said for the ponies, only because he command them to mainly subdue and capture them. He needed the ponies to mine for its gems and minerals. For you see in Equus, gems are grown from its soil, a rarity in this galaxy. What causes this is still up for debate. Nevertheless Titan wants these gems so they can be used for his army cause of its magic within it. Enchanting weaponry and armors, boosting ones magic power, minefields and magical traps. This will greatly help his army both in power and in funds.
Meanwhile Celestia and her forces were imprisoned inside of the Titan's castle which was massive. It was dark purple, almost like a stereotypical villains lair. It has four towers surrounding the main building in a square. The towers roof cones were blood red. An aura of pure evil surrounded the castle, giving it an eerie vibe. The ponies were sent to the dungeon via the portal Titan had made. The dungeon was dark, damp, and filled with dread. The walls and floors are also in a dark viridian color. There are torches placed on the walls to bring out some light. When they entered, it was stated by one of them that it felt as if all of the warmth has disappeared inside. Citizens and low class soldiers were sent together in numbers of 20, blocked by the grey iron like bars. Middle class soldiers were put in more stronger bars and are put in a group 5 per cell. The Mane Six plus Spike, the princesses, Spitfire, Shining Armor and six retainers, were all separated from each other. Their cells were made of the strongest metal Titan had. Said metal was blood red which brought more fear into them. The rooms were also smaller than the other cells.
As they entered the cells, the ponies notice that the soldiers didn't put Twilight in said cells. Applejack, Shining Armor and Rainbow Dash demanded they tell them where are they taking her. The soldiers answered them by saying nothing and having them be quiet roughly. They laugh as Twilight watched her friends what could be her last time. She was terrified and in hopeless despair. The ponies protested via yelling at demand they bring her back. Guards then went to quell the outburst as Twilight was forced out of the room, who kept looking at the people she love.
All she can do is to be brave and embrace her fate as they took her to Titan's throne room, where she is put into a massive bird cage like cell next to Titan's throne. Which was empty until she was put in. The walls of the throne room were black and the tapestry and rug were in that too familiar blood red coloring. Dark purple flags with Titan's insignia which is a palm with a entereal looking blue flame coming out the palm is seen hanging on pillars in the room. Twilight could see that the throne which was black as obsidian but the seat and the section on the front has stuffing for comfort which is the color in red. She tried to stay calm and she's falling miserably. She thought maybe she could reason with Titan to leave them alone which is the only option she has at the moment which would have definitely failed. Tho there is something that was bothering her. For some reason they didn't took her and her friends Elements when they got captured. Why didn't he took them? Does he know about them? How did he know about them? Where they come from? What they are they? These are questions that likely surround her mind. Tho her train of thought was ceased when Titan showed up through his portal with the same featureless face minus his red eyes. It stated that by that moment, by herself Twilight felt all hope died as her body shakes and her face turn to a face of hopelessness. She sweated bullets and her eyes widen as he gets closer. After that well they say the prisoners heard her scream a few rooms away.
While that is happening, more of Titan's men began to spread throughout Equestria. Their goal is to capture more and more ponies for mining purposes. It was truly a dark day in Equestria's very long history. The invaders would take any pony. they would even use young, old, and sick were used as hostages to motivate the workers to work and a reason to not cause any trouble. It was an underhanded but expected from the evil Titan. As hours go by, more and more small towns get attacked by his forces and innocent ponies get captured by the evil forces.
The residents who haven't been captured ran as far they could to warn the others ponies they run into to run as well they quickly tell them what happened. The fact the sun didn't set at all until a Ahour later then it should cause some ponies to worry as Celestia moves the sun everyday and when night did came it looked different. The moon and the sky looked duller and darker and the stars look dimmer. It brought unease to those who notice. The animals were hiding in fear as if they can feel the great danger that entered upon the land. It is as if Titan's influence is being spreaded throughout the planet and felt the disturbance. In a way it was and the land's greatest heroes fell against the source of the disturbance. The land was pretty much doomed.
Then suddenly a light came down from the night sky from depth of space. This light was like seeing the eye of a very powerful storm. The light landed between Canterlot and Titan's castle, from it beings appeared from it like it was some portal. They were space ponies. As we can see and already know they look similar to the ponies that live on Equus, only bipedal, have fingers and they are all alicorns. These ponies have great strength, speed and magic that put all the ponies on Equus to shame. They all wore a plain looking vest, the colors differ the other ponies tho some do have the same color and visors thar matches their vest's color. They also wore a badge in the shape of a alicorn's head faced to the side with it's wing sticking out which is insignia. It was located on the left side of there chest. They also wear white tight pants that have a hole for their tails with white laceless shoes.
These ponies are all members of a powerful military group called Starfleet. One of the protectors of the galaxy. Their are others like it like the Angilian Valkyries/Crusaders and the Peace Alliance but Starfleet is the most strongest among them all and have fought countless times against the forces of evil while others would fight against each other and too naive. Along with Starfleet's forces are very tiny creatures that look very similar to an Angilian only with dragonfly like wings. They all also have long flowing hair and wore clothes made of leaves, vines, nuts, and other small things found in nature that has been fashioned into clothes or accessories. These are the fairies of Luminious. A peaceful race with both great warping powers and massive strength. It's advise to not underestimate them or anything by that matter. They are allied to them ever since one of the members of the royal family convince them to fight with Starfleet as allies after they were kept safe when such royal went missing for years.
In front of the group is their leader of the group and he gave off an empossing aura around him. A big bipedal alicorn with three long golden horns on his for head, a glittery short black mane along with a pure white coat. A golden armor that covers his whole body in a lustrous shin. On his left side of his chest is the medal that all members his people wear. Lastly he wears a long flowing red cape that glitters as well and a pair of golden wings. His name is Celesto and despite his lack of fashion sense he is wise and powerful ruler that has lead his people ever since the first space pony was born. He leads not only Starfleet but his whole planet as one nation. He is loved by his people who he watched and ruled over in a millennium. On his rule, his kingdom meet with a speedy advancement on technology, art, literature, agriculture, the magic arts, music, entertainment, but mostly in military and combat. Celesto believes that having strengh in their powers and weapons will benefit them more in there survival which did help them florish in there planet with added help with five powerful stones called the Star Stones, which Celesto uses to strengthen his people to fight all who opposed them. He also believes that the power of believing in one self is an most important as without it the world's darkness will eat you alive. His forces main objective was to protect there planet and other planets from evil. Tho they can quite destructive. Now you must be wondering why are they in Equus?
The reason is to end Titan's reginn of terror for good for he and Titan were mortal enemies. These two fought strongly against each other along with there respective armies for years. Titan wanted his planet to be added to his collection of territories he has controlled over his conquest while Celesto not only denies but also actively liberate all of the planets Titan had controlled. There was no talking out between two as two could never see eye to eye. War was unavoidable especially Starfleet being the ender of evil that it is. Their battles were fierce and many, but in the end Starfleet was victorious in the end through the use of the Star Stones to seal him and his forces away in a planet Titan called Necros, a literal dark planet. The planet is pretty far away from the sun yet it found warmth in its four red red moons that rotate around the planet which were also used to seal them. Said moons were filled with volcanoes which helped warm the planet and allow life to well exist since it was still barren just a few plants and animals roam the planet. It would be the perfect prison for Titan but before Celesto sealed him and his forces their, Titan gave him a parting shot. The parting shot being a fusion of a warp and blast spell that warped the stones to different cornors of space as a little middle finger to him. It was a travesty that they lost stones for they are not only did they help protect there way of life it was also a big part of their history. Celesto proclaim that they will sent scouts to find them despite how massive is the search area is.
As they search for the stones, Titan and his army live off the land using their magic. They cause seeds and plants to grow faster and produce more food, they used it to make homes out of the ground and dirt, and live as best as they can be. Despite the loss of some of his forces, Titan can mend it easily let it be by using the bones they saved and the ones they "found" on this planet. He has as I said before an incredible amount of magic. He even uses it to create life using his power. Creating life is a very complicated and forbidden spell. Very few beings can do this for it takes most of their life to fully learn and grasp it. Luckily for Titan he was one of them. Tho while he can create an almost endless army of beings born from his magic and dead bones. But while he can give them basic intelligence like knowing how to read,walk, and importantly for him fighting but he can only give so much. Especially when Titan had a plan to get out but he needs to conserve his magic and rest to be at 100%.
The plan was his soldiers were needed to be strong enough independently so they will use their powers to weakened the seal enough to allow four people to get out through a portal. Titan understood that while he can give them the power it would make his rest a lot longer. Then one day, the plan work and Titan's revenge began.
He sent his three strongest soldiers to the space pony homeworld all who have the bones of fallen space ponies. One was a powerful mistress of ice magic whose was known for her beauty and vanity. A warrior with reptilian qualities and a master on the sycthe and lightning. His strength was great and so was his arrogance. Lastly was an intelligent elen, a being rarely ever seen outside their home. His wisdom combine with his element of darkness makes him a very deadly adversary especially in dark places. These three were the vanguard which were sent to enact the next part of the plan. Using whatever energy they can gather in the planet. Causing trouble to the space ponies is just a bonus.
As months passed and as the seal has began to be near it's breakingpoint. Titan had learned from his vanguard that Starfleet has been successful in searching for the Star Stones they already found two. One being found in a planet called Equus. Titan heard the tales of a powerful spirit of chaos sealed in stone by his deeds. Titan thought it will be a great idea to have him joined his side. How he was able to get him on his side and have be a mindless monster is a great mystery that maybe never be answered but with this now obedient slave of evil. He prepares to unleash on the day he and his men are truly free.
Two weeks later it happened. The moons that were magically keeping them all trapped exploded with the magic of Titan and his men. Titan used his magic to teleport the whole castle while Titan open a small portal for Discord to cause the destruction on the space ponies planet by corrupting his hody with some of the energy that his warriors brought. His power skyrocket but it made him more unstable. He order him to destroy the Space Pony homeworld with said power. He went in obediently. While Discord headed to his destination, Titan and his men headed to Equus. Most people believed that it didn't matter if Discord succeed or failed for Titan knows his greatest nemesis would come here because he order Discord to tell him he will be coming to his real home planet Equus. How he came with this information was by the info one of his vanguards had found and he is planning to exploit this information.
Which is why Celesto and his army are in Equus tho battered and injured from there battle against Discord in their home planet. Despite all efforts, Discord was successful in his goal to destroy there homeworld luckily they were able to stall him long enough to conduct planet scale evacuation. If it wasn't for the fairies portals and Starfleet's space ships, the death toll would have been extremely high. Discord did not survive explosion as he perished along with the planet. From afar the planet was like a shinning star glowing incredibly bright only to fade into the dark. Celesto sees that very star few minutes after arriving to Equus. The land they call home was no more.
Celesto looked upon it and was in great despair. He continued to look upon the spot where the planet once was and felt great amount of anger of this yet also great sorrow. The rest of his soldiers looked up and one white coated Space Pony with a short comed black mane with brown eyes asked him on why is he looking at the sky.
Celesto told them he saw their home shine then disappear to nothing. The tone he spoked was filled with a mix of controlled rage. He then told his soldiers that despite there homeworld is gone they will avenge the home they lost and the people that lives on this planet to ensure they don't suffer a similar fate. That this will be the end of Titan and his forces. With the power of the star stones, their forces, and their faith nothing can stop them.
Celesto then looks upon Titan's castle and the burnt city of Canterlot and was once again filled with anger at this. As stated before he was native here. To summarize he was born an alicorn with 3 horns despite the fact family are both earth ponies. Some say it was a sign from above or something of that matter. Before becoming a king he was a knight of Celestia that reach the level of captain of the royal guard. Princess Celestia has even granted the honor of being her right hand or in their case hoof stallion. The two were also in love between one another and Celesto was even about to propose to her until Luna, Celestia little sister who gotten jealous of her sister and her day banish him to unknown location in the galaxy the location being the planet he called his new home. As Celesto was building his kingdom unbeknownst him, Luna was sealed into the moon for many many years.
Back on topic, Celesto tried to sense Celestia's magic with his own magic by casting a radar spell to locate her and in a few seconds he found her in Titan's castle which cause him to worry even more for his love. He ordered his fighters to strike and siege the castle. He ordered a white coat pony with a long green mane and a slashed scar on her right eye that is purple like is other eye. She wears the same armor like the others only here's has medals on her right chest and has an orange color that when looked upon the knees and shoulders you can see the flaming textures reach there end, behind them is a yellow color to complement it. The medals she wears shows the deeds she has done and the rank she is on. Her name Emerald Shaina and she is one of the five main generals of Starfleet, each leading their own forces. Her's forces are specialized in close range combat, they are called Vanguard of Justice because of their desire to fight was greater than the others. She wields a powerful naginata, a lance liked weapon that instead of having a pierce steel on the head of the weapon. This allows it to slash foes instead of piercing them. The blade is in the shape of an flame burning strongly with it's edges very sharp. This blade was made from a emerald like material found near mountains on her homeplanet. This blade is connected to a pole made of copper, It's warm to touch and help amplify her fire magic and makes her pole very hot. To prevent burning her hands, she had her outfit be specially made to be live mittens only more heat resistant and wore very long sleeved gloves made with the same material. She is a loyal mare yet she also loves the frill of the extreme, like being on the front lines. Despite this she isn't blood crazy. When things go south, she and her fighters will change strategies that isn't charging in like a bunch of bulls seeing red.
Anyway she was ordered this task while Celesto, a few of the fairies and Starfleet's most reliant force known has simply know as Orion which consists of 7 space ponies and a fairy that have recently been providing themselves as a very reliable force of good. They all head straight into the prison room as Shaina and the rest of the generals and their forces handle the raid. They head to the dark and murky dungeon as they take out anything that gets in their way. When they finish dealing with the jailers. They entered inside hallway where the cells are and they saw the ponies trapped within the cages. The group were sadden by this yet also feel weird when they saw them. Like they have relation to them. The ponies on the other hoof that are confused possibly from the noise outside, looked at the group. It was a few, then more began to notice Celesto and company, They then ask who they are with the hint of exhaustion.
Celesto then looked at them and told them that they are a group of heroes that help innocent people like them from evil forces. He and his men has come to save them and defeat the evil overlord. This made the ponies overjoyed that they are gonna be saved. Their faces were gleaming with joy as their nightmare was beginning to be over and that they can return to peace they knew seem so close by. The fairies they had with them were ordered to get these ponies to safety to a planet that is far from danger using the fairies' portal powers. Some of the ponies were cautious while others just jumped in for freedom. As they go further in they see more ponies tho they look less like civilians and more like officers and soldiers and that jail bars looked stronger as they go deeper.
As they rescue them using the fairies, some of them told them that the other ponies are kept in the medbay. Celesto nodded and had Krysta and her fairies soldiers head to where they are after they are done with the ponies here. He is not worried if there are enemy soldiers there since the fairies can handle themselves just fine as they continue onward. But Celesto stop when he saw Celestia again it was a beautiful reunion that was needed to be on hold to handle the problem both have at the moment.
Celesto breaks opens the bars with his strength, In which Celestia and him embrace each other strongly, overly joyed being together again. The other ponies and a dragon are very confused about these strange bipedal ponies, which was natural.
But such thoughts are left aside, as Cadence, Armor, and Spike tell the bipeds that Twilight has been taken deeper into the castle and have heard screams that sounds like hers a couple of moments after she was taken. They were extremely worried and have tried to get out with no success. Celesto ask them to leave to let them handle it but the princesses, the mane five, retainers, and spike refused. Likely worried about Twilight, tho Celestia had an extra reason. To not be separated from Celesto again after being seperated for so long.
They headed deeper in till they reach the massive throne room. There was little to any guards inside, likely fighting the massive battle outside. When they enter in they were.....horrified from what they found. Titan in his throne, smiling as he levitated Twilight in front of them covered in bruises and blood. She could barely stay conscious from the pain to notice she was being rescued. Our heroes were both enraged and distraught especially ones that Twilight had close ties with. The feelings were spiraling in like a whirlpool. The desire to save the precious friend they cherish with all their hearts. Along with the urge to destroy the one that did this to her. It took them only ten seconds for them to notice that her wings were gone. Ripped by Titan's torture as if it was the finishing blow to show the weight of the situation to young princess.
Titan released her grip right as he lightly toss her at the group, in which the princess's brother caught her and he and everyone in the room try to comfort her as the three other princess attempt to heal the wounds she had gotten. Celesto and Titan began to stare at each other with sizzling rage a few seconds later. Two beings of great power had reunited again to fight once more. As they banter, Lightning and his squad join their ruler to fight along with Shining Armor, Rainbow Dash, and Applejack as the others stay with Twilight.
These great heroes fought with Titan with great skill and power. Titan's deadly magic and power were a great danger and yet despite this, are heroes were able to outmaneuver him with their skills, powers, and numbers. In the climax of the battle, Celesto and Titan unleash their powers at full blast at each other, causing a power struggle between them. Titan then draw magic and ebergy from his own warriors that have been fighting outside till there is nothing left in them. This made his magic and power grow dramatically. This change in power results in Titan gaining ground in the struggle, with him laughing at how close victory is in his grasp.
The situation is looking bleak for Celesto as Titan's beam gets closer and closer. Despite such bleakness, he continues to give it all he has with great bravery. He knew if he fails, no one can't stop the evil Titan would unleashed upon not just this planet but on the whole universe. This is the reason of his bravery. But no matter how brave he was, he doesn't have enough power to push the laser back. All he can do is slow down the approach.
Until Celestia, Luna, Cadence, Lightning and his group and even Twilight, who despite her injury wanted to help as best she could. They all unleash help him by blasting their own magical energy at Titan. The united energy was able to push the dark energy back. More and more the united energy pushes Titan back. Anger by this, he puts even more power into it yet it is invain as the united energy over powers his energy and breaks through, unleashing it's power all over his body and by this he screams in agony. The blasts through the left wall of the room, such a sight cause all the warriors to look upon it.
But despite such a powerful blast of energy, Titan survived but only barely as his body is leaking dark energy from his body. As a final act of defiance, he open a portal, straight to the planet's core and went into swiftly as the portal closes just as swiftly to prevent our heroes for stopping him. He then unleashes all his power onto the core as the heat and lava burns him. As his body dissolves, he laughs evil as he gets the last laugh.
The planet shakes from the attack on the core. Cracks are made ,oceans rumble,clouds....actually they weren't effected at all until the near end in which they began to be torn apart from the energy it gives out. Other than that fear and doom is inflicted into every creature in Equus as the world was about to end. In the castle however, are heroes were thinking of a plan to stop this calamity and not panic..... Only one of them panicked from the pressure.
It was until Celestia and Celesto thought of a great idea. If they use the Elements of Harmony and Star Stones together it may stop the planet from blowing up. The Mane six used the Elements while Celesto's group uses the Stones. The two energies enter the cracks of the planet. Sadly the damage was done, the energy the planet was giving out seems to be overpowering the gems energies. More cracks began to be made and the planet shook even more as it was about to explode in which it did in a massive bright light.
The planet is now shattered and broken. The pieces float very close to where it once was. This should have been the end, the story should have stopped right there but it didn't. As not just a but multiple miracles began to happen. The first are the massive floating domes that surround the planet with the residents of the very planet inside them. The Elements and Stones must have created these massive pastel rainbow colored domes. The people in them have a look of terror, sadness, anger, panic and in disbelief. They demanded answers to what is going on. Their lives were spared but they have no home. Our heroes share the citizens' expression and emotions. Luckily they colonized empty planets for everyone so that they can live on.
Then, the second miracle occurred. A huge flash with the colors of the rainbow appeared in the shattered core of the planet. They look away at the bright light as a powerful wave of magical rainbow energy was being spread throughout outer space. It is unknown how far it went but its effects however were immense and dramatic in many ways. All of the residents have glowed and transformed to a more bipedal form. This is but one of the changes the residents go through but that can be explain later. Simply everyone freaked out more than they already were before. Some had trouble standing and ones that can stand have trouble with change in height and body structure, minus the ones that are already bipedal. They also magically have white robes over their bodies which is a blessing for the star ponies and everyone involved. It's theorize that it's from the magical light that warped their bodies.
The third miracle was another rainbow light appearing far away in darkness of space. A light that was getting brighter and closer every second it passes until that ray of light lands on the pieces of Equus. The bright light once again blinded the innocent people. It is amazing how no one ended up getting blind from all the lights. To those who can see, which mostly are mostly the space ponies with their hi tech visors that also work as sunglasses. They can see tiny specks of something black inside the ray and it is bringing it here to this very location
As it gets closer and closer, they can finally see what it is being brought here. It was the remains of a planet and it's moon. Celesto decided to check the coordinates using the high tech sunglasses out of curiosity. After checking where it was originally. The coordinates shown came and it was a surprising. The light was bringing them from the very location there home world once floted on. The only possible reason why the lights are bringing them here are related to the Star Stones. It is possible that the stones magic brought the planet's remains here. But that doesn't answer why. But as he thinks about this something began to happen.
Under the bright light, the remains began to merge with one another. Not only that but some of the parts began to for close to Equus's moon in a ball of light that is just as big as the moon. To most, nothing is happening but to the people who do know, they're witnessing landmasses being magically formed together like clay yet certain things like buildings are being kept intact and the orb next to moon is being reformed back to what it once was. This goes for a hour and in this hour people demand answers to all that has happened and naturally the leaders of these people can't answer those very questions
except for Celesto on the how what's happening to the planet. Tho only the ponies know this since all others minus a Spike are in separate domes and they don't have any way to tell them.
Then the hour past and the two orbs began to dissipate. Little by little a layer would disappear into a beautiful dust of magic. As more and more we can see the planet reformed as one single planet.vIt was a miracle, the fourth and possibly last one. The people in the orbs were in complete joy from such a discovery along relief as the there is a home to return to.
The some of the citizens wondered what would appear from the orb. Some hope the gods revived their world with their divine might, some a new world with no relation to their old one, and one thought it would be a bipedal planet. The person who thought of that drank way too much cider. As the veil dissapates they the icy caps, giving the citizens a cheer that the world was revived. Bit by bit, more of the world began to be revealed. The citizens began to see there respective homelands or at least where it was. They also notice more of the planet's beauty as more began to be revealed from the ribbons.
They were awestrucked when all the ribbons have dissapeared. The planet looks good as new. The grassland, the ocean, the mountains. They all look revitalized it was absolutely breathtaking especially since this is the first time they seen the planet from this view. Which is something that artisans and cartographers will likely use in their works in the future. They also now notice that it looks bigger then usual likely because of the remains of the other planet. The ribbions next to the moon has also revealed itself and it looks serene and majestic as Equus's moon only more yellow. The last thing they notice were small colorful light that were surrounding and spinning around the planet. There were exactly 49 of them and they all slowly fell onto the planet.
Then shortly as that happens, a magical rainbow circle appear in under of one the citizens' feet in the dome, the person turn into a orb of light below the spot they were on was swiftly blasted into a certain spot on the planet which then the orb reverts back into their orginal form when it touches land or water. It scared them at first but as more and more began to be shot down safely. As the others await their turn, feelings of hope, joy, anticipation, and relief shower into their hearts, eliminating all the negativity in it. A villain's last attempt of a final laugh, was brushed aside by multiple miracles. As the denizens of Equus went on for the restoration of their land. With help of course from their new friends who will now live with them
But, what they didn't know is that the planet wasn't the only thing that has been reborn. The Elements of Harmony and Star Stones that came from another world had been shattered and the shards have been fused together to become more powerful than they were alone. Yet they weren't complete, the amount of magic used by them to cause such deeds uses up most of their powers. This has prevented them from fully completing each other. Each of these gems consisted with Elements of Harmony except one group of seven gems. These seven gems have parts of all six of the elements together. We don't know or what they represent but thanks to our research we discovered that it has no element that represents it making far more useable. is very likely that the end result will be seven whole gems of unimaginable power. Power that we need for are goals."
The screen began to flicker in the dark room. My soldiers look upon the screen on their chairs above me. Some with determination and confidence, some with were pondering the information given, and some that look like they are bored from hearing me recapping the situation since a few of them are from Eqqus. I turn on the lights as I kept looking at them with a stern face, the light lit the room instantly and it was blinding since it was completely darkeness minus the light from the projector. The room was big and painted in the usual grey color with no windows in sight. It looked a bit like a classroom you would see in colleges. The control panel for electricity in this room are located behind me as a rectangle shaped black of metal with another rectangle facing the sides on top with a couple of buttons and a monitor. The projection is currently above us. The screen is showing of the image of the shards we need to look for. They come in the 7 different colors. Red, pastel pink, magenta, purple, cyan, orange, and white.
I took a deep breath has I spoke to them in a serious tone. "You know what you have to do and you know what is at stake." They look at me, paying attention to the words I say. Few even sweated, likely from the pressure. "Find me all these shards on Equus, all 49 of them. Do this and you will be handsomely rewarded."
"Don't you mean 48 of them sir?" one of them spoke in a calmly matter, it came from a yellow being with of a gelatinous bipedal form. He is quite large with his two thick arms almost touches the floor. His legs are just as thick along with that his feet are flat with three small toes position like a triangle's point. There is pink orb above his chest near the neck that has very thin veins coming out of it and extends to his arms, legs, and head. He also has green eyes that bears no pupils on his head that looks like a big lemon with a pair of long whiskers similar to a catfish onto where the mouth should be. Along with that are three feathers where ears should be attach to and wears a plain white scarf around his long neck.
I sighed" Yes I know Tak, we already have one of the shards in our grasp. You don't need to be clear on that."
"I just wanted everyone to be cleared of that to you know prevent confusion" Tak said. He's name is Tak and he is always like a gentle giant. Has the power to break a house in seconds, yet has a gentle demeanor around his allies. He's cautious as well for a man of his stature. He is also a bit of a grammar ely.
"Don't take us for idiots Tak! We don't need some reassurance from a squishy weakling like yourself." said by a intimidating tone from a intimidating and large bug.
A massive obsidian bug is larger than Tak was with his three pairs legs that looks like a crab between his stomach and has huge thick arms with claws that look like it could cut a small tree in half. His three sets of slated golden eyes in which top is farthest from the other pair. There two large fangs showing from his mouth. A small hole above his mouth and between the lowest pairs of the eyes is his nose and two more in the shape of a square are between his head work as ears. His is Blod, he is an insectoid, a race of beings that Starfleet once fought before. Memory serve their king also wanted Starfleet's homeworld for themselves and they failed with their kingdom in ruins. These bugs usually come in different sizes and forms of insects and arachnids, making them a very diverse race of people.
"I was just trying to be helpful Blod."said Tak who sounded offended by this.
"Don't worry Tak, Blod always has a stick up his thorax. He can't help being mad all the time." Said by a smug looking mare.
She's one bipedal, black coated and violet mane unicorn. Her mane is long with a ribbon that looks like a bat on the far end of her hair. It's length can touch her back stomach. She wears a long scarlet sleeved coat with a black shirt with the image of a crescent moon but it looks very hazy, a bit distorted and also crimson red like her jacket. This bears similar to the image of her cutie mark, that now lies on the back of her hands. Wears long dark gray pants and black boots. Also her eyes are grey color and a very short violet tail. That is Mirage Umbra. A unicorn from Canterlot, her skills show great promise, sadly she has a rebellious and defiant streak. It has been diminishing less and less but it still resurface at times.
The next to her was a other is a small fairy from Luminous that's the size of an average 12 year old snickering at the Blod. He's bigger than the rest of his kind thanks to his magic. He is a short messy haired boy with a long single strand of hair poking out. He wears a brown tunic and black belt on his waist that contains a tear shaped device on his left side, along with that are white pants and black shoes with no shoelaces. His wings also grew along with his body,plain grey fairy wings. His name is Fern, as a fairy from Luminous, portal magic is in his blood and Fern is one best. Capable making more than one plus thanks to a little boost he can now change his size for different scenarios. He does lack social..restrain which makes be an arse to his teammates.
"Can he even smile? The only emotions I ever see on his face are anger, stoic neutral, and annoyed. It's all your brain can handle." Fern said that as he continues to snicker with a smug.
"What was that you little brat!?" responded Blod angrily at the tiny fairy.
"Do you need to me to be slower? I said your brain is so tiny that it needs to empty its memory to function." Fern said snarkly and slowly.
"Grrrrr. Quit mocking me! You little piece of-" Blob was then interrupted by a dainty little bipedal ladybug Insectoid that's taller than Fern by a couple of inches.
"Enough! Can the both of you please quit your excessive squabble. Especially you Fern, all you're doing antagonizing him! Can you just quit being a scoundrel for just a single day, especially today of all day?" Said the peacekeeping ladybug.
This is Saffron, a bipedal ladybug with a bright orange wing covers and black spots. Has two antennas and dark pink eyes. Wears white sandals with a floral strap and a special orange blouse that makes room for her wings utilizing the spell Phase. and a long red skirt that looks a bit like leaves. She also has a pair of skinny arms with four fingers. She is the last of her royal family that's still alive ever since Starfleet attack her kingdom. Despite such loss, her resolve and compassion never waver yet i can still see the anger and sadness from that event in her eyes.
She turned to Blod. "And Blod please control yourself. Your only encouraging Fern's crude behavior. Just stay calm please" Says Saffron.
Blod took a deep breath and calmed down as Mirage slaps Fern upside the head. Fern naturally rubbed his head in pain for a bit. Blod then said "Okay que- sorry Safforn I shouldn't allow a small fly to anger me."
Saffron flinched a bit when he was gonna say queen but didn't which caused her to smile wider. " I'm happy you are just calling me by name Blod. At least until I earned that title." Said a smiling Saffron.
"Why just not be a queen then?" Saffron looked from where that voice came from to see that it's from Chidum, a strange alien with the body of a fox but the legs of an octopus. All of her body is covered in a seafoam green coat of fur with her tail like legs and triangle shaped ears having light blue on their tips. Her hair being of the same color as her coat was long and she has two large braids of her hair on the front one on each side. She wears a deep blue blouse and a bracelet with a tear shaped stone on her left wrist. She is also rebellious like Mirage tho it came from her and people's history with people in high positions of power instead of spite.
"It be for the best for "your" people if you just them live their own lives instead of them being ruled by an inexperience queen who has so many personal issues to deal with at the moment." Chidum said with a calm demeanor.
"Are you saying my people are better off alone and without someone to lead them? Especially after their homes are in ruins!" Saffron said in.
"Not when they are divided as they are now Chidum." Everyone turned to the red demon who said that. Her name is Maxwell a Skeoni, demon like creatures with certain parts of their body being made of bones, which to her are her legs and her long tail. Between that and the stomach there is a brown line. This line separates the bones and the flesh. The bones are a brighter red in color compare to the rest of her body being a more dark crimson. Her legs looks very sturdy and has three long toes like a lizard. Her tail is sharp as if it can pierce through flesh. Her body looks buff but not jacked up, just regular buff. She has a red colored eye on the left and blue on the right. There is a thick black horn on the back of her head similar to that of a rhino but it takes up most of the back side of her head. Her hair are short in a bobcut style and has pointy ears. She also has these black fanged teeth that look like they can eat metal and lastly she wears a brown shorts covering her line and a black sleeveless qi shirt that look it's sleeves were ripped off. Her kind are know for being fighters. Fighting is in their blood and bones. She sees herself as a soon to be legend wanting to fight the strongest things imaginable yet she still is somewhat in grasp with reality.
"You think I don't know that Maxwell. Of course I know about the civil war. I just don't see how having a queen let alone Saffron will end it. Unless it involves bloodshed which I wouldn't be surprised." Chidum said just calm and calulative as before.
"I-I know that, but I'll find a way to prevent them from fighting further without bloodshed." Saffron said looking concern.
"That's what they all say then they lie, take advantage of your situation and then their true colors finally come out." Chidum said this with contempt in her voice which tenses Saffron up. Only for Mirage to step in and having her hand on one of Saffron's shoulders.
"Come on Chidum does this look like the face of a cold hearted ruler?" Mirage said this playfully. This causes Saffron to smile a bit while Chidum scoffs.
"No" Chidum responded truthfully.
"See, I may only known her for a few months but I can tell she isn't the heartless leader type." Mirage says with complete confidence.
"Yes, Saffron here has a heart filled love for her people. It is her destiny to save them from themselves and bring unity to her people and we will help her fulfill that destiny! Maxwell said with gusto which only psyched Saffron up and knocked away her concerned look.
"Yes!" Said Saffron only to compose herself to and tries to stay calm to get too psyched up then says. "Yes, I will save my people by uniting them, I'm not sure how but I will save them.
"Hmmm, not convince. Trust me I have heard speeches like yours before and they still went full tyrant on us. It's going to take a lot more than a small little pep speech to convince me." Chidum says in defiance.
"Chidum i know your planet has been through a lot of dictators but i think Saf-" an white winged elf said until he was interrupted.
"Luce for the love of Lysa, don't play devil's advocate with me. Especially with how Elysium is currently being run." Chidum stated with a stern tone at the angelic looking elf.
"Ah! B-but still there is no proof of her being a cruel person Chidum" Luce nervously rebuttal. This is Luce, an Elysian from Elysium. A land were angels like beings gather with their bond brothers and sisters. For what a bond brother is, they are an animal companion that a Elysian is bonded shortly after birth and the two develop a strong bond through the course of their lives. To call their bonded animal a pet is considered an insult.
Luce has long pale blond hair with a four pointed star hairpiece on the right side of his head. It has three blue feathers placed on the hairpin. He has a blue dress that looks like it has been tied to make it shorter and more like a shirt. He also wears long red pants which soft appearance could make it seem like their pajamas. His eyes bear a golden color that shiny like well gold and his wings bear pale white feathers. He doesn't wear any shoes but you can see through his body there seems to be scars on his arms and legs. Where they get them? Who knows.
Next to him is Dawn, a messenger dove. He's Luce bondbrother. Dawn is a massive blue bird is just as big as Tak. With a beautiful set of blue wings and feathers on most of his body and his head and neck bearing a white skin pale skin. There is a gold infinity sign on his chest. As it's the mark of a bonded creature. His talons on his yellow legs were sharp like a knife and his yellow eyes were just radiant as his bondbrother. He is seen next Luce as usual. The two are naturally always together or at least close by one another.
"The boy makes a good point Chidum. Saffron hasn't been showing any actions that hints her as a dictator. She's more like a caretaker or at least a kind and naive mediator." Says the grey stallion pegasus. This is Ace Ray, a grey coated pegasi with a short brown mane with a huge strand of his mane standing like the upper part of crescent moon. He wore googles on his forehead, black pants and a blue vest with a white shirt underneath. He also has blue eyes and black boots. He used to be Wonderbolt till he quit because of opposing views with other wonders.
"Hahaha, so Chidum does that convince you? Does that convince you that Saffron isn't a tyrant? Blod in a confident and snarky tone.
She sighs in most likely be in defeat. "Yes, yes it does." Chidum said in a gruntly defeated tone.
Saffron and her supporters smile at this for a moment till Chidum spoke again. "For now. She could change the moment she sits at that throne but until then I will accept the possibility of you being an actual good ruler."
"Well will just see about that, right Saf?" Mirage said in a positive tone and gives her a smile
and thumbs up. Her teammates also smiled. This aura of positivity feels with more confidence.
"Right Mirage, after everything is done I will end the conflict between my people. This I swear to you all." Chidum looked hopeful for a sec only to frown.
"I hope your right Saffron, you better be right." Chidum said in a serious tone. Chidum then sat down along with Luce and Dawn. Well Dawn actually doesn't sit on his chair cause he doesn't have one, Luce bring him his mat so he can sit comfortably. While Saffron gets approval from her teammates. Gladly the situation has been taken care of without any damages this time.
"Okay is everyone done?" I said with hopes that no one else will interrupt me. As i said this they start going back to there seats with a few feeling a bit embarrassed, then i cleared my throat to respond further and explain more.
"Now that all of you are now quiet and listening. We can back what i was saying before i was interrupted." I said that and after i said a few eyes looked at Tak who now looks embarrassed.
"As Tak said yes you must collect 48 remaining shards since we already have one in our possession." I turned and walk to the control panel to press a button which changed the image on screen to said shard of a white crystal inside of a massive grey machine. The crystal can be seen through the glass and the crystal in question has small suction cups connected to it that connects to the machine that absorbs its energy in the color of a rainbow. As it takes that energy, it goes to the antenna that bears a white magical circle on top. This magical circle is a special gate that extends the range of energy that is sent to the crystal onto the devices I call Drivers. These were given soldiers which apparently not all of them brought with when i told them to bring them wherever they go incase of an emergency. But i will let it slide since today is a big day.
When activated through thought the crystal that is used as a conduit for the shard will teleport to the owner's waist in a form of a belt. Through our research into the white shard we learned that the shards can spread their power in the form of crystal cuted in the shape of a marquise diamond. On the center of the belt, lies a golden wheel with crystal into the middle of it. Spinning that wheel shall active the transformation sequence in which a suit of pure harmonic energy will magically be suited onto the user, increasing their power incredibly plus conviently also hinding their face and identity. That's pretty much the basic there.
Everyone stares at the machine tho it is something they have saw before. "Thanks to that shard we are able to utilize its power and use it to are advantage. With the drivers you are given, it will make completing the mission far more easier.
"Excuse me sir?" Mirage interrupted me politely which is rare.
I sighed and ask. "Yes Mirage? What do you want to ask me? In a calm tone.
Mirage, looking at me curiously said. "Where are all these shards are located anyway?" She asked.
"In Equus naturally, specific locations however would be difficult. Our radars aren't close to locate them this far away." I said.
"I knew it. We have to check ALL of Equus, The entire planet? For 48 tiny rocks." Mirage said in a defeated tone.
"Yes, we must check the entirety of Equus in its entirety. The whole planet, from the land, to sea, to even the clouds" I said. Naturally it will be difficult but not impossible.
"The shards will resonate when close to another shard even when inactive. The more it shines, The closer it is to one. Naturally you can turn it off if you need to be stay natural. When you find it, I authorize the use of these shards to be used by you all to make finding the rest of them easier. You can also send then here for safe keeping. It's best you keep it in the special cases we made for them so their signature would be blocked to prevent confusion." As i said this i pressed another button on the control panel to show an example of said devices blinking a rainbow light very quickly as it's very close to shard in the machine as an example. "But don't get cocky, even with that it will still be big challenge to find them all especially as they are inactive at the moment. Which is why I will sent each of you in groups of which you all have been assigned to by the start of training. First is Team Alpha."
Which consists of Mirage as the leader, Saffron, Ace Ray, Fern, Tak, and Maxwell. "You six will head down to Canterlot as the start of your search. Head to your rooms to get your things and fast as possible, got it?"
They all stand and shouted "Yes, Sir Feardorcha!"
"Good.. Also if you or anyone in here run into Starfleet or any of those ponies in my tale. Do Not fight them. You hear me?" I don't care if you have two shards each I questioned them.
They once again said "Yes, Sir Feardorcha!"
"Good and best luck" i said with ernest.
Then they headed out of their rooms to prepare for the journey down to the planet to find the shards in Equestria. Even with two Equestrians in that group, the entirety of land had changed and it doesn't help that some of them have something against Space Ponies in that land. Wherever it be a certain person or the entire race. They better not forget what's at stake. I put everything i got and own into this project and i'd be dammed if they mess it up. Now then.... "For the rest of you."

Finally after two months of being in this base i can finally go back to my home. Two months honing my skills, magic, and mind. Two months of doing Feardorcha's hellish training regimen. Two months being knowing these crazy yet great people. As we walk towards are rooms through these bland grey hall ways made of metal with light panels shinning on the ceiling i opened my mouth and said. "Well today's the day right guys?" I needed to break the ice. I have to cause i want to know how everyone feels about this especially as the leader of this group.
Saffron spoked first. "I feel excited Mira, It's been too long since I have seen the blue sky and smelled fresh air. Plus I want to see how much your home. I wonder how much it looks now after 4 months."
"I know, I have been anxious to see how much it changed too. By the way Saffi, have you ever been to other planets?" I said to Saffron.
"Of course I have, whenever my dad would conquer a planet, we all go and rest and while my parents handle all their duties, me and my big sister with our bodyguards Blod and Jetar would explore the planet's most beautiful locations. It was so much fun." Saffron said while being nostalgic of her before all this. She would at times talk about her family. Telling me all of the good times, the bad times, and random times with them. She really love them will all her heart.
"I only hope your dad left all that beauty alone during his conquest." Fern said who cares about nature, so much so that it felt uncomfortable not being around them as he was staying here.
"Of course he did! Mom would have him gey a massive earful if he didn't." Saffron said which made him smile a bit.
"Good to know, I would hate it if some of my favorite spots being reduced to nothing but ash." Fern replied as he opens a mini gate his magic to grab a book from his room and starts to read it as the gate closes. As he does Maxwell punches the air in front of her, looking psyched.
"I'm pumped to see how strong these Equus' creatures are! It's such a rare opportunity to fight against beings from an entirely new land." Maxwell said excitedly. Maxwell loves fighting. Especially if her opponents are pretty strong. She would always be the most pumped about sparring against anyone. She would usually fight different people to learn more about their fighting style and try to adapt some of it to her style.
"I don't know Maxwell, from the sound of it ponies don't like fighting." Tak said to Maxwell. Tak isn't wrong. Ponies aren't usually the fighting kind of people. Naturally there are exceptions like me, Ace and the military.
"Nonsense Tak, as Feardorcha said there is a group of ponies that protects the land and they have an army so they must have some sort of fighting style. Isn't that right Ace?" Maxwell said with a tone of confidence.
Ace turns to Maxwell as he walks and said. "Of course Maxwell, we do have our own way of fighting tho with these new bodies, ponies who specialize in fighting have to change their style now so you won't be finding worthy opponents anytime soon." Maxwell looks sadden by this only to then smile as she remembered something.
"What about the other races Ace? Feardorcha said something about a dragon right so what about them? Do they fight a lot more than ponies do?" Maxwell bombards Ace with these questions. He sighs at this.
"1. Yes they are other races that are more aggressive than us. 2. Yes. 3. Yes, the dragons are faready than us ponies and then some." Maxwell answers Ace's questions, which made her face gain a wide smile showing of her sharp teeth. A part of me is worried cause I know what she's smiling about.
"For all we ponies know about dragons. With the info brave ponies obtained through observation of their behavior, actions and whatnot we learn that dragons are a very vicious and mean-spirited kind with exceptions being Sir Spike of course. They are capable of great destruction. So much so that even one fully grown dragon can cause great destruction to a huge city in a matter of minutes with their large bodies that rival castles, their lethal bite can break stone and lastly their deadly fire breath that can destroya whole forest with ease." Ace speaks, Maxwell's eyes began to glitter like stars at the thought of such powerful creatures existing, it's like a colt who just finished opening his birthday present and got something he always wanted. Tho for Maxwell, it's more like a starving wolf looking at the dead remains of a manticore. Everyone else who aren't native to Equus are shocked of this. I don't blame them at the slightest.
"How..how do you ponies live in peace with them around? I would be concern of such creatures roaming the land if any were in my kingdom" Saffron said in a frighten tone.
Then Tak who looked horrified by this but tries to keep a brave face. "I wouldn't be afraid of them. I mean Ace is exaggerating right?" He said trying to process the idea of dragons and cope with it. I mean I don't blame him for fearing them. It's completely rational. I then looked at Fern who also looks spooked but also in deep thought.
"Ace you must be exaggerating. If that was true, then these dragons should have been ruling the planet if that was the case." Fern said this and I don't blame his logic tho.
Anyway, Fern whistled to show his amazement tho it sounds lackluster from the sound of it and said " So Ace how do you ponies deal with them? They all sound pretty irritating to deal with"
"The dragons usually don't cause trouble for us. They will normally live secluded in a cave or mountain tho I heard a group of dragons would try to attack Canterlot head on only to be sent back by our princess Celestia." Ace said. He's not wrong, in the history books it states that every few decades, group of dragons would attack Canterlot. They would usually be adolescents for some reason.
"Impressive, one lady against a group of dragons. This Celestia must truly be a skillee individual. Tho why would a group of dragons attack the capital so rarely?" Fern questioned to Ace.
"I don't know how dragons think Fern. We ponies only know a few things about them and that is that dragons are big, deadly, beasts filled with greed." Ace responded. I wonder what dragons think when they have all that gold and jewels? Is it like "Hahahaha they are all mine all MINE!! And no one elses! They will stay here with me forever and ever." Something like which sounds completely stupid. I was silently chuckling at the idea they do absolutely nothing with that wealth. I mean is that all they want? The wealth just the wealth for no other reason other than its shiny and i want it? Hilarious completely hilarious!
"Ace i want to ask this one last thing" Maxwell said who has a doopy smile on her face as if she is in complete bliss.
"Yeah Maxwell?"
"How big are these dragons fully grown? I I just need to know." Maxwell ask that sounded like she in desperation need to know this info. Which knowing her, it is.
"From what we know. Massive like 20 ponies big and maybe more." Ace answered unknowing the dam he has just bursted open. Strong, massive, threatening, these are all things Maxwell loves to brawl with and saying there is a race of these will...actually I don't know what she will do but I think I will in a few seconds.
I- no everyone stopped walking to see Maxwell who looks like she can't contain herself anymore. She had this huge smile and was hastily walking in place with delight as if she'd just won a big contest. She has her hands clutching each other in a way to contain her excitement. It was seconds later where she finally let out a cute glee and after that she said "Oh praise Cadwgan! For I have been blessed to be sent in a world with such powerful beasts living upon it. I will promise you that i will give you a glorious battle that will surely and most certainly be amazing!" Maxwell proclaimed loudly in joy and then she runs for our rooms.
"Ahh! Maxwell wait!" Tak said as we all started to run minus Saffron and Fern they started to fly in effort to catch up to her. She is running pretty fast which not surprising for someone who is so fit. "Faust dang it Maxwell wait up!" I said as we chase after her. Running through hallway to hallway through turn to turn in this massive building until we finally reach our rooms in the resting sector where people like us sleep and relax.
After passing through the automatic door way which automatically opens when someone gets near we see a straight away room with a hard white panel floors with black outlines, grey colored celliing with celling lights added and two walkways. One to the right leads to the sleeping area through a wide doorless entrance while the left leads lounging room through the same kind of entrance as the right for relax, socializing and releasing stress. Both rooms are pretty large tho as soldiers do live here as well. Maxwell was seen for a sec heading left. We head running/flying are to way to the right and it led to a room three entrances. Two the sides that lead to an elevator and one in front of us that leads to our rooms. That the door way is for the elites, the gifted, the us and the other people that were in with us live here on top while the rest live on the lower level of this large base underground.
We run/flew through the front entrance that leads to another big fancy room with checkered tiles that look like they are made of polished stone. Walls bear a black color while the ceiling also bears a black color. A big silver chandelier hanged up on the ceiling with 20 bright light bulbs shining beatufully. with that have seven different black closed doors with silver spiral patterns on the near ends of the door and a silver handle. Their are vents that located in the center of each side of the room. The perks of being one of the best.
We see Maxwell has already entered the first door on the left which just closed. We opened that very door to our room which was large, large enough to give us some decent space for a bit our stuff and a bed for each of us. The room's floor titles are polished too but from the door to the far end of the wall, the tiles start a dark blackish pink and gets brighter the more farther it goes till when it gets close to the farthest wall at the center it turns to a gentle orange as if morning arrived in this very room. I must say Feardorcha has good tastes in designing or who ever thought this cause it feels nice. I don't why but this room gives a bit of a nice, serene feeling. Like when you come back here when you experience Tartarus, it feels as the moment you walk in you feel a bit at peace and beds help. They help a lot. Our beds seems to follow the theme of this room with its beddings and blankets. The closer they are to the farthest end of the room, the more orange it looks with the closest bearing a pink color. They also have brown wooden frame and a small lamp attach to the wall above the beds.
We see Maxwell on her which is in the center right of the room, packing her stuff on her dirty white bag. She didn't brought much. As we saw her, I was the first to speak. "Maxwell you could have waited for us you fighting loving psycho."
"Sorry Mirage but thanks Ace's description on dragons I want to go Equus right now and soon as possible." Maxwell said joyously as she packs her stuff in thar bag.
"Maxwell, they aren't any dragons where we are going. We are to heading to Canterlot which has zero dragons." I said as i try to break to her now then later to lessen the mental blow to her and possibly physical pain to us. Minus Ace i think.
"Then we will find some while we look for the shards, you said they are found near caves right Ace?" Maxwell asked Ace with optimism in her voice. She also stopped packing her things for a bit.
Ace thought for a bit and answered "Yes, yes i did Maxwell but I'm not fully sure at the moment." I think I can guess what he means by that. Tho Maxwell looks puzzled by what Ace said.
"As you know Equus has gone through a complete transformation right?" Ace questioned Maxwell. She nodded.
"Well there is a possibility that all of the caves in Equus have disappeared along with the treasure inside it." Ace said as Fern who looks done with the argument and decided to pack his things bags which mostly consists of books and a few pictures of people he knows. Maxwell on the other hand still looks optimistic even with the possibility.
"Well what if they didn't disappeared. What if when the caves were destroyed by the earthquakes, they were remade by the powerful magic?" Maxwell said. She's not wrong. It's possible the magic fixed the caves. In fact there could be new caves that were made by the earthquake and the reformation of the planet. There could actually be dragon a bit closer or farther from us. Oh boy those map makers are going to go through hell to map everything.
Ace thought about it again and realized Maxwell is right about that. Tho Tak steps in to the conversation. "Wait does that mean we have to fight them?" He asked
"No!"
"Yes! I can take one out! Our fight would be legendary" Mirage and Maxwell said respectively.
"Maxwell i know you want to fight these dragons but we got to focus on the shards besides we don't actually have to fight them we just need to sneak in and grab it if they have it." Tak said sheeply. As right as Tak is, I can tell it's more out of fear than stealth since fire and Tak don't mix. Actually fire doesn't mix well with anything that's alive so Tak's must be a bit more serious.
"But if we and by we I mean I fight the dragon, you guys can grab it's stuff. We all get something out of this." Maxwell said in a happy tone.
"Hmmm that does sound like a good idea."" Saffron said acknowledging that to be a good idea. Which I can agree it is good plan. With Maxwell as the distraction we can loot it's hoard and even if it doesn't have a shard, we can get a lot money out of this as long as Maxwell can hold it off. As we talk the rest of us begin to pack our stuff as the conversation continues.
"Okay then Maxwell, if we ever have the time we will search for dragon caves." I told Maxwell this to as i head to my bed, giving her the green light. As I look at Maxwell, her face is glimmering with joy. I just hope she controls herself as she lays her body onto her bed and just stares into the ceiling. Likely imagining her "Legendary" battle.
I focus on gathering the stuff on my bed like a violet jacket, my black journal and my pen, all of which I left on my bed. There wasn't any night drawer here so most of my stuff is already in my midnight blue suitcase, I looked at Saffron and the others who are all packing their own stuff.
Tak was putting his yellow and red scrafs in his cream colored suitcase. He likes wearing them for some reason. Fern is packing is books that he reads in his light green suitcase. He's a fan of adventure and spell theory books...what a nerd. Saffron just grabs her small pink pulling suitcase near the door. She prefers to keep things nice and clean. Maxwell was already done putting all her stuff in her bag which has been stitched in several locations beautifully. Fern was the one who did the stitching and even now I find it surprising, he is a wenhole but at least he is a Wenhole with a heart. A below average one. Lastly, Ace is packing away his goggles and a picture frame of him and his young sister. Ace told me that he and his sister are very close. Hehe is like me and my sister. She and I used to spend a lot time together...I hope she finally woked up.
After we packed all are things we headed out. "Hey Fern, would turn off thr lights on the way out?" I ask him as he is at the back of the line and looked like the last to leave. I looked at him saw him roll his eyes and nodded. Last one out naturally closes the door. As we all leave the room that we lived in for about 2 months, Fern closes the door and the lights all turn off on their own. Not sure how they do that tho. When got out and we head to the elevator to reach the teleporter room that is on the surface level of the base. As of now we are on Level B10. There is 21 levels in this massive underground base and the teleporter is on top along with docking bay where they put their spaceships. I would love to you use their ships but I like to go home without causing another panic and it's much faster.
We head into the elevator which has pretty wide silver doors which open when i presses the silver button on the right of the doors, doing so opens the doors to reveal a room with the very same doors at the front end for this elevator opens two ways. It's also big enough for all of us to fit and more since it was made with the different sizes of agents in mind like Tak and Blod. As all enter, i turned around, I see a multitude of silver buttons on right with buttons through 0 to 21 and a card reader below all the buttons. They made it so when people press a button like the 0 button I just pressed, they need a card key to give the OK for the elevator to take you to that floor. There are 4 key cards, green, blue, red, and silver with green being the lowest in priority while silver pretty much gives you access to any room. Me and my group were given blue cards cause of our position here. Green is usually given to grunts and employees with low standings. Blue is usually given more important people in this base like me. Red is given to Feardorcha most trusting and powerful individuals here and silver belongs solely to Feardorcha. It makes sense I guess. Tho I wonder what will happen if the elevator gets broken down.
As the elevator doors close and the elevator begins to ascend, Saffron asked me a question. "Mirage where are we going to be live when we enter Equestria?"
"Yeah where are we going to live? Cause I don't think we can't live in Ace's house." Tak said afterwards
"Who says you can live in my house?! Besides I live in Cloudsdale and I know for sure non you can walk on clouds!" Ace said
"Wait ponies can walk on clouds?" Fern says in shock. It didn't seem like a big deal. At least for me.
"Yeah" Ace said.
"And they just live in the clouds? All day?" Fern asked.
"Yeah we do Fern, your point is?" Ace responded.
"How is that even possible? You can't just live on floating water." Fern questioned in a tone of complete denial
"Not without magic." Tak said
"And complete chi control?" Said Maxwell still with a bit of excitement.
"Yeah yeah yeah but a massive amount of magic would be needed to sustain so many ponies and their possessions on top of those clouds without failing from the sky!" Fern said as he tries to find logic in pegasi having a city on top of clouds in complete rage. It's actually hilarious to see him this mad over something like this. I chuckled a bit and I notice Saffron and Tak chuckled as well. But as Fern kept trying to explain in such anger. I could barely control myself and just laugh and laugh at how hilarious this is! Hahahahahaha! I can't even think of a reason why Fern cares so much about this! Is he mad that he can't walk on clouds? Is it because fairies can control the weather? I don't even care about that right now, it's just to hilarious to see such big headed know it all go insane from this! HAHAHAHAHA!
"And what are you laughing at Mirage!?" Fern said angrily as he notice me laughing. He then started to continue as others began to chuckle from this as well but luckily he is only focused on me.
"Hahahahaha! It's-it's you hahahahaha." I said well i laughed as I try to regain my ability to speak words properly and to bucking breath!
"Me!? Why are you laughing at me? I haven't done anything that would result in any laughter. Unless you are laughing at my- wait that's exactly why you would laugh at me." Fern said from a tone of wrathful confusion to deadpan.
"Hahah..haha..." I stared to regain my breathing..oooh boy that was fun. I needed that laugh. Haven't laugh that good in a long time. Okay got to focus and try to laugh more then I already did.
"Sorry Fern it's just what's the big deal? So what the pegasi can live on clouds with buildings and such on top said clouds. There is no need to lose your mind on it. It's not like your jealous or something right?" I said it with a calm tone which went sassy near the end. When I said he went and pointed at me with his finger with an angry expression on his face. That's pretty rude.
"That's because it's unnatural! You can just say that there are people living in clouds expect me to just take like some random trivial tip." Fern said as if he is lecturing me.
"Unmm excuse me Fern?" Said Saffron trying to interrupt politely.
"In a minute Saffron, maybe you don't know this but not everyone can just walk on clouds. The fact just puts a lot of things into question!" Fern states as he continues talking. I also notice why Saffron wanted to interrupt Fern so I do the same.
"Yeah yeah that's nice, hey Fern?" I try interrupt but he ain't having it.
"For goodness sake can you just wait until I finish Mirage?" Fern asked me oblivious to the fact that-
"The elevator has stopped" the elevator has stopped for sometime. It's actually a bit embarrassing on my part. Even more for Fern as he looked in completely surprise to confirm it and it made him from the looks of it dumbfounded. He then tried to compose himself and said.
"Well..we will continue this discussion later when we get to Equestria and bring Ace along, he is a part of this conversation" I just went and got out of the elevator.
"Yeah yeah, come on Fern before we decide to leave you." As I and Ace have our hoo-hands on the doors. Fern walks out of it with a haste. We both chuckled and remove are hands from the door, letting close on its own. We then started heading to the right through the hallway. The hallway was breathtaking as usual. The hallway's walls are cylindrical and protective by reinforced glass that allows people from inside to see majesty of space, stars and all. There are so many bright stars, big and small and the beautiful space gases of multiple colors on this boundless black sky.To be so close is like a dream. One beautiful dream that unless I see my sister strong embrace and having Lightning as my unpaid servent, I wouldn't mind being in that dream for months. Oh yeah there
As we walk towards the hallway that leads to a big grey metal door with some small box with buttons on the left of it with a tiny rectangle screen above the buttons. Outside I can see a massive grey metal buildinglarge door leads to the docks, where these big flying ships are stored and used. It's also where they put the teleporter for sending squads of soldiers like me to a location instantly and covertly. The ships are used for exploration, transporting large supplies, and space combat. It is like a sci-fi nerd's dream in here. All that is missing is a couple of math equations and some 20 sided dice.
Anyway we reached the door and Saffron inputted the password 211737 into the machine which let the metal door open as steam comes out of said door to reveal a massively large room filled with ships of various sizes, all which are large to very large to a sooo large that it can house millions easy. They're all just standing there. Tho some have people working on them as they need maintenance. We walked into the likely a mile or two long room and it's simple brown concrete flooring.
"Still smells horrible in here" says Saffron as we walk towards the teleporter room which is near the door we came in. The smell of rocket fuel is just all over the place and it smells just awful.
"Awful? It doesn't smell that bad" Said Tak as he nonchalantly smells it and looks fine doing it. Then again I can't hardly tell, his eyes are only facial expression he has. I don't even know how he can talk without a mouth.
"I'm Sorry? How are you fine with this...this smell? It smells like a month old dirty sock" Says Saffron and I agree with her 100%.
"Plus you don't even have a nose. How can you smell something without a nose anyway? I said as I look at Tak.
"Well for one, the smell reminds me of a kind of flower my mom would grow in garden that smells a bit like it and two I do have a nose" Tak says that as he points to the two tiny holes that are below and in-between his eyes.
"Well what do you know. You do have a nose." I said with a bit of amazement, Tak really does have a nose. But it's so small I have to be up close to even notice it. Saffron also check to see it for herself.
"Oh, you do have a nose. How good can you smell with it being so small?" Saffron asked.
"It smells fine Saffron. Just cause it's small doesn't mean it smells any less than a bigger nose." Tak says as he sounds kind of offended.
"Tak no one said that your nose can't smell better than an average nose, your just being baby." I said as we enter the door that opened automatically to a large room with multiple large whitish grey circular platforms. There was seven in total and all of them had two large hand like instruments, one on the left and one on the right for each of the circular platform. They were like a darkish green color and they are connected to the platform. There was also a large bowl shaped thing above the circle with a small hole on the center and in the inners of the bowl have writing symbols on them. I'm gonna take a guess and say their magic in those symbols. Also the circle platforms are connected to multiple pipes that leads to the floors below.
This is definitely the teleporter room where we and the other groups are sent to be teleported off to Equus. The room seems to be handled by a couple of engineers that from the looks of things, do nothing but compute all day in their big computer that are looks like they were built on the wall where we entered which is in between these computers. There were six of them, one pony per computer which was the same color as the teleporters and the wall and floors. Feardorcha apparently like the color silver and grey. Anyway the engineers were all space ponies of different colors that I truly don't care for.
One of them them turned around to see us and looked spooked for sec to only then clear his throat to say."Welcome, Feardorcha has informed us of your squad coming here." Said the blue spacie as he got up from one of the chairs. He is wearing a grey jumpsuit with a lot of pockets, six on the front three per side and four pockets on his legs two on each side. He is also wearing black boots. The attire of a mechanic in this place is bland yet practical. Then again space ponies aren't known for having good taste in clothing.
"Yeah yeah, is the teleporter ready?" I asked the blue pony in grey.
"Oh of course! We are just waiting for you to tell us where you wish to be sent." He answers.
"To Canterlot of course, in front of my mansion on the Noble Belt." I said sternly. My mansion will be our base of operations plus it has been so long since I been there and I need to check on my sister.....I really hope she finally woke up.
"Oh! Right way madam!" He and the other spacies began to input the coordinates into the teleporter from their computers.
"Wait we are heading to your mansion?" Tak asked. I forgot to tell these people I actually have a mansion tho then again it didn't seem important at the time.
"You have a mansion!?" Saffron asked as she suddenly looks at me with a sparkly look in her eyes. She's look so cute and excited to be able to live the good life again even if it will be filled with work.
"Yup and there's enough room for all of you!" I answered with gusto. Benefits of being a noble. Being a loaded with lots of money and a huge house, plus being set for life. I just need to get the rooms ready.
"I'm just glad to get off this planet. I'm in desperate need for fresh, clean air and actual greenery" Fern said with a optimistic sigh and the feeling very mutual. I seen enough dull corridors to last a lifetime.
"I'm glad I get to finally be with my sister after all these months. I hope Fleetfoot kept a good eye on her." Ace said with calmed joy.
"Hehe and I can't wait to fight some dragons. Our fight will be tremendous and legendary! The thrills, the chills, the bloodshed! Hmm! I can almost taste it!" Says Maxwell in a boastful and loud tone.
"And I can finally start the mission that I have been preparing my entire time on this Tartarus be damn rock for." As I said this the engineers continue to input the coordinates as we step into one of the teleporters and wait for them to finish.
"Hey, Mirage?" Fern asked rudely.
"Yes Fern, What is it?" I answered unphased by the his tone.
"You said we are heading to Canterlot right?" He said.
"Yeah, why did you ask?" I replied
"From what Feardorcha told us, wouldn't the city be heavily destroyed by the earthquakes especially after the attack from Titan's forces and being connected to a mountain, would have fallen to the ground?" Fern asked.
"Yeah it was Fern. It fell from the mountain after all that but! Thanks to those spacies' technology and the combined work of Equus, Canterlot is being rebuild and last I heard, they are making the city surround the mountain." I answered with a smile. I wonder if their finished or at least half way done?
"As I thought. The falling I mean. So what about your mansion?" Fern asked.
"Well naturally it was rebuild now on the ground. It took like almost a month for it to be rebuild good as new." I answered.
"Wait? It took that long to fix a mansion!?" Tak said in a justified shock tone.
"I'm surprise how fast the rebuilding effort was going myself. With the help of the materials and the horsepower of both equestrian and space ponies have, it's cutting a lot of time. So that's a little upside in having them in Equestria." Says Ace. I hate to admit it but without those spacies, it would have taken years for not just Equestria but the whole planet to recover.
Tak gave a look of satisfaction at Ace and me, which is his eyes glimmer like stars. "Oh wow! That's good to hear, I thought it would still be under construction." Said Tak. I then squinted my eyes sighed in a bothered tone.
"Tak, I just said that you and the rest of them us can stay in my mansion. Just by me asking it should be obvious that it's done." I said
"Yeah but without all the rooms being done. You never said they were done." Tak said
"Tak I-" i said till I was interrupted by those mechanics.
"The teleporter is ready miss Mirage." One of the mechanics said.
"Oh finally!" I said as I get ready by standing on it and everyone does the same.
"Please make sure to not have any limbs or items outside of the teleporter" another mechanic said.
"Why?" Said Tak who is curious.
"You could lose it and we could lose are jobs.....or are lives.." Said the other other mechanic. I can see that happening. We made sure to have all are limbs and items are on the teleporter just in case. I like to have my limbs thank you.
"We're good! Fire the teleporter!" I yelled to those mechanics! The faster I get home, the faster I can see my sister. She must be worried sick about me.
"Okay activating the teleporter in 3,2,1 Now!" they activated the teleporter through their computers. The teleporter began to make a noise as a white light surrounds us. In a few short seconds I feel my body being magically warped like a cocoon.
Then everything went to black. I couldn't feel anything. I couldn't move anything. I can't even speak. All there is darkness.....did something went wrong? Feardorcha did say that when going through this teleportation device, we would experience the void. Back then it didn't bother me at all, essentially when he told me it was only for a few minutes. I already been through Tartarus more than once. I can handle a bit of darkness. Especially when I am so close. So close to see my sister again. So bring it on you endless void. Gimme your best- huh?
Suddenly I feel less stiff and actually started to feel my body again. Not only that I'm beginning to see something. At first it was small and dim but as seconds went by, my sight started to return more and more along with my body returning to normal. I think I see an earthen road, a long earthen road from the looks of it that is between a few rocks of various sizes and a few trees. As my sight gets better I start to notice some buildings and a bit of construction equipment. Wait a minute. I remember this road and this view. This is the view I see in front of my mansion! I'm finally h-
"Woah! My legs!" I said as my hooves..legs touched the ground. It was so sudden and caught me by surprised and made me lose my balance but I quickly regain it like a pro. I also just realized I can talk again and I can feel my arms, my bag and my senses. Very shortly after, I hear my companions have grounded as well via grunts and aaaaahs. I then turn around to see if they made it out with everything intact. Good news is that nothing is lost.
"Glad to you see all made it without losing an arm." I said with a smirk.
"What what the actual tiraz was that!? I thought I was actually dead!" Fern said as he looks pretty spooked by that. The tone of his voice was also evident of his experience. Normally I would find this hilarious but it was a bit worrying.
"Come on Fern it wasn't that long. It was just a bit of time in nothingness. " I commented. I don't want him to know it bother me. I have too much pride for that.
"It was long enough to freak me out! What even is that place? Some void to nothing? To a land of the in-between? The land of mana!?" Fern responded after which he started to get his bearing and ramble on to himself as he paces around the ground.
How should we know point dexter? I'm just glad we got out of that place." Maxwell responded with an annoyed tone. From the look of her body expression, which is of her just stretching around with her bag on the floor, she didn't seem scared or at least disturbed by it. I mean this is the same person that wanted to fight a dragon after being told how dangerous they are. At least she took better and far more quietly than Fern. I then turned to check on Saffron and Tak to see how they fair. From the looks of them. It got to them, Tak eyes look widen out of fear and shock. If he had pupils, it would shrink in fear. Plus his body was trembling. Poor guy. Saffron on the other hoof looks okay. She is clutching her lyre close to her chest on her right arm. I'm guessing that lyre was keeping her calm. That lyre is a gift from her parents that had tragically passed away. Losing a family member is always hard especially when your very close. She might be making absolutely sure that lyre is with her during the trip.
So, I went up to them and decided to ask Tak first."Tak, are you alright? You looked pretty terrified." I said to him with a concern tone in my voice.
"I-I'm fine Mirage. Just shaken up that's all." Tak said with obviously fear in his voice. I know Tak isn't the bravest person I know, but he isn't a coward either. Something must have happened in there that must have got him shaking like a leaf in fall.
"You sure? You look more then just being shaken up? Did anything happen while you were being teleported?" I ask Tak this question with concern. I am the leader of this group and his friend, so when I see a fellow teammate and friend being terrified like this it's my duty to see what's causing it and give it the most nightmarish night of its life for doing that to my friend. Tho there is high chance it's not a thing that did this to Tak.
"I said I'm fine Mirage! It's just I thought we messed up that's all. I thought we were gonna be in that hellish void forever. So of course I'd be terrified. Right?" Tak said sounding peeved. I hardly ever hear him that angry. He looked away at as he spoke. Something tells me he is hiding something. His body language also doesn't scream "I have confidence". And more "For the love of Celestia, stop talking about this!" His arms arms are crossed and his eyes have an angry glare. I believe it's best to leave this situation alone when looks pretty uncomfortable talking about it.
I sighed and told Tak. "Okay Tak, I get it you don't want to talk about this. Sorry for trying to probe you Tak, it must have been very horrifying for you." I said to Tak softly. His reaction was a look of relief. His eyes were closed for a bit and his body started to slack a tiny bit only for it to strengthen up and his eyes open up. I simply smile from that seeing that his mood has improved.
"Thanks Mirage. I really appreciate it." Tak said, who sounded very pleased. He actually sounds a bit cute like a little colt saying thank you to his mother.
"Your welcome Tak." I said to Tak and then I look at Saffron who has wide grin on her face. She had wanted to go Equestria ever since I talk about it. She was mystified by my tales wonder of my lands culture, history and way of life. And the lushes plant life, she really loves plant life and after being underground in a metal building for months I ain't surprise that she has such a big grin on her face.
"How about you Saffron? What's your thoughts about the void?" I ask her, hoping that she isn't mentally scarred like Tak. She looked at me with confidence in her eyes and a confident smile.
"I admit, that was a bit intense, but I'm fine Mirage. I knew we would make it out safely." She said truthfully and confidence in her voice. She also looks pretty calm. Which is a relief to know she took it like a champ. I couldn't help but smile to that.
"That's great to hear Saffron. Now.. what about you Ace?" I said. When I turned to look at Ace, he was staring at the city with his mouth being a bit open. His eyes looked focus on the city No other parts of his body were moving, as if all of his body functions were being focus onto his eyes.
"Ummm Ace? Are you there?" Saffron asked him as she notices how his eyes are fixated on the city. I mean I don't blame him in the slightest. To be home again after so long and seeing it grow to where it is now. With my eyesight restored I can truly see the changes. The last time I was here, there was a few buildings while a lot of new buildings was being build. Celestia and...Celesto wanted to change the way Canterlot was made after it fell and decided to have the town be built surrounding the mountain in the plains instead of having it latched on the mountain. To rebuild the town onto the mountain is impractical now with the space ponies now living here with us. There wouldn't be much room left for them.
With the space ponies moving into Equestria, we needed a lot more room for are new guests. So much so that we need to have the city be on groundlevel. Also, while some and I do wish it was all of them but just some of them decided to live in the other planets they colonized. Which is good..however ponies from said planets want to move in here when the constructions are done. Which could take who knows how long. It's been 3 months since I left. Seeing it grow so much just fills me with pride for it. Now Canterlot is so much larger. Most buildings still have that old Canterlot color scheme. The white, the purple, and the hint of yellow. Also I can see the train tracks that is in the middle of the town, separating them into two sides. Luckily I can see they have built a few drawbridges so that ponies can walk over the tracks safely. To see Canterlot like this makes all those months worth it.
I took a big sniff and smelled that pure Equestrian air and just took it all in and I think Ace was doing that too since he hasn't spoken since we got here. I walk towards him to ask him about Canterlot.
"Hey, Ace what do you think of Canterlot?" I ask him that as he then jumped a bit likely not realizing he was staring at Canterlot like he was in a trance. He then looked at me and smiled awkwardly.
"Oh Mirage! Hehe sorry about that I was in deep thought. What is it?" He said kindly.
"I said what do you think of Canterlot, Ace?" I said as I laugh a bit. Of pone Ace is distracted by Canterlot too. I don't blame him I mean Canterlot is one of the greatest cities in this planet only now bigger than it ever was before. but at least I wasn't that in trance in looking at it.
Anyway, Ace gave me a smile and said. "It looks incredible, I never imagine the ponies had gotten some much progress in a few months. I can't wait to see how much as change. Don't you Mirage?"
I smirked answered with a "Hell yeah, I need to check out sights but first" I looked around at my team and started at the massive mansion behind me. It was well a huge light pink mansion that.....wait light pink?
"Why is my mansion pink!?" I yelled and wanted answer. When I said this, Saffron spoke in surprise and with joy.
"This is your mansion! It looks amazing Mirage!" I stared at her when she said that with a forced smile on my face. At least she likes it but it would have been better where it was. White not freaking pink! It's always has been white since it was first built. Even when it was rebuild, it stayed white.
Who could have change.....Fantasy...Celestia be dammed Fantasy that sneaky little parasprite. She took advantage of the fact I would be gone to repaint the whole house! Ugggghhh just you wait till I get inside Fantasy in fact you don't have to wait long cause that is what is happening!
"Wow Mirage, your the last person I expect to like the color pink with the whole attire and personality you have." So says the annoying Fern who was chuckling when he saw it and it looks like everyone started to notice the mansion. They seemed to be staring at it. Starting at the beautiful and desecrated mansion that they are going to live in as long as they live on this planet.
"What are you talking about Fern? Pink is clearly the perfect color for Mirage." Says Maxwell who I now think is crazy for even thinking that.
"How is it perfect for me!? Do I look like some brightly colored breezie to you?" I said to Maxwell. Pink and me don't mix. Literally since it clashes with my mane and coat but also because I don't like the color. I like more dark and cool colors. It's far more better that pink..I wonder why Mirage thought pink suited me.
"Mirage I have no idea what a breezies but the reason why I said that is because back in my home planet, pink is seen as a daring color. For the most dangerous of beasts bear this color. Which is why clothing with the color pink are only for those with great skill, strength and authority." Maxwell said. Well dang, if that's the case then I can see why she said that now. I'm flattered that she thinks so highly of me. I couldn't help but smile from that.
"Wow thanks Maxwell. I really appreciate it. But I still prefer it to be white. For family reasons and sadly family is the reason why it's pink." I said to Maxwell. As I walked towards the gate which has a lock in the center. I pull out a copy of the key to the place and unlocked it. I pushed the gates and they made a bit of a metal squeaking sound. It sounds a bit louder than the last time I was here. I looked at the walk way in front of me. It was a beautiful road paved in stone and outside is a beautiful well groomed lawn and on the middle of the paved road is a small circular garden filled with beautiful flowers of different colors. It's like a rainbow but with naturally more green. I'm happy to see my butlers and maids are keeping everything beautiful and neat. Sadly it didn't stop my sister from painting the mansion. I turned to my friends and gave them a little formal greetings.
"Everyone welcome to my mansion. Our luxurious home." I said with a smile on my face.
