//------------------------------// // Chapter 3 // Story: A New Artist in Ponyville: The Story of Creativa Artly // by Creativa-Artly01 //------------------------------// A few days later, I went to the Apple Family's home, Sweet Apple Acres, for their annual Cider Festival. There, I enjoyed a nice cup or two of their apple cider as I talked with Applejack. "So," I said to her, "this is a nice little farm. You are so lucky to live here." "Yeah, it's where all of us were born and where our parents died," responds Applejack. "We haven't left the farm since." "Okay, that's cool," I respond with a smile. "And where are you originally from?" Applejack asks me. "Marison," I respond. "Okay, cool," responds Applejack. "Do you want to stay for dinner tonight?" "Sure." "Great!" responds Applejack. "Can't wait!" A few minutes later, a young filly comes up to me. "I'm Apple Bloom," she says to me. "Nice to meet you, little Apple Bloom," I reply with a smile. Then not long after that, two more Apple Family members approach me: a strong red stallion and a small brown filly with a red mane. "I'm Babs," says the filly, "and this is Big Mack. We're cousins. Big Mack is AJ and Apple Bloom's big brother." "Nice to meet you," I respond with a smile once again. I then go and get another glass of cider. I am then approached by the local school teacher, Cheerilee. She asks me to do a mural for their classroom to which I happily agree. I then begin it the next day. They want a fairytale theme to which I happily agree. After several months, the mural is completed and I show it to Cheerilee who happily squeals once she sees it. "I absolutely love it," she says to me with a smile. "Thank you." She then gives me the payment for the piece, a bag of over two thousand bits. We then share a nice friendly hug before parting ways. I return to my home and get ready for dinner with the Apples. A few hours later, I enjoy a nice dinner with them of daisy salad with apple slices, fresh apple cider, and apple pie. This is the second time I've had dinner with them since I came to Ponyville and I rather enjoy it. A few hours later, after a fun time of lasso throwing and cow riding together, I share a group hug with a family before parting ways. I then return to my house and look at a picture of my family. Oh how I miss them, mom, dad, Chelle, Nathan, and Eli. Alas, I left them to pursue my dreams. I had no choice but to leave them behind. I'm a success. Even so, I can't help but feel empty now that I've left them behind. A tear then falls from my eye onto the picture in my hand. Maybe I'll see them again someday. I can only hope.
