Several hours later, the sleigh flies over the top of Ponyville. The family then shouts down to all the ponies walking around in Ponyville Square. Twilight soon notices and hollers back up to them. "Hey Dash Family! Hey Rainbow! Hope you have a great Christmas Eve and a great Christmas Day tomorrow!" Rainbow then waves down to her and hollers.
"I hope you do with your family, too, Twilight!"
Twilight then leaves the ground and flies off to the castle and meets up with her brother, sister in law, little Flurry Heart, and parents. Rainbow then gives them all a wave as they fly over the top of the castle and they all wave back to her. A few minutes later, the group flies over the top of Canterlot, where they are waved to by Celestia and Luna. The two sisters then go inside and enjoy some pancakes, hot chocolate, and cake together. Once they finish flying over Canterlot, the Dash family heads their flight back towards Cloudsdale, passing Spitfire as they return to their house. A few minutes later, they land in the backyard of the house and get out of the sleigh and return back inside to begin gifting time.
Once inside, everypony takes to their seats and they begin handing gifts to each other. As each pony opens theirs, they soon see everypony got exactly what they wanted and then some more. Even baby Sunshine Heart got a little gift, a little rattle with a little smiling sun in the center which she then begins to play with happily on the floor. The rest just smile as they watch her play.
A few minutes later, everypony is once again talking over hot chocolate and leftover cupcakes. As they do, they tell jokes and stories galore. They can all agree it's the best Christmas Eve they've had in a long time. Tomorrow, they will open the rest of their gifts as gifting time is a Christmas Eve tradition before they get the rest of their presents on Christmas Day.
