"OH SHUTUP!" I yelled out in annoyance with the noise that came with my wings when I flew.
I had a massive adrenaline rush right when I escaped because I feared that I wouldn't get another chance to escape. How did I get that rush??? Well I imagined being left behind and having to deal with Queen Chyrsalis, the look on her face she gave me before I left was that of a murderous psychopath who just killed someone and saw me witness it.
I flew for what had seemed to feel like an hour to me but I didn't know so I decided to check. How did I check? I looked at he sun.... again.
"FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!" I yelled, with the blur in my eyes doing the same mistake I did when I was with Caleb.
Hmm I wonder how Caleb is going. He would sure have it better considering he was a pony and not a Changeling.
I shook the thought from my mind and hoped that he was alright. When I looked up the sun had only moved about three centimetres from when I left the hive, I had no idea how long that was but I guessed half an hour. I continued to fly with the glare in my eye which eventually dissappeared.
The base of my wings now sore as hell made me literally drop from the sky and land on the forest floor. Luckily I knew this was going to happen and I was hovering below tree level for the past five minutes, doesn't mean that falling didn't hurt though. I fell about four metres and landed on my hooves with a thud. My fore legs and hind legs buckled when I landed, causing me to hit my underbelly which is the softest part of my body apart from my wing,. I let out an oomf as I did. As I stood up though the pain in my back from the building collapsing on me intensified.
"Oh god why," I grimaced in pain.
Sneaky bitch, must've only done some sort of painkiller spell on me. Probably knew I would try and escape, but COME ON!!!
I finally managed to my hooves and started moving step by step in the forest. For at least half an hour with shear determination and grinding my fangs and teeth together I made it to the edge of the forest, I then collapsed due to the pain. I turned around and looked at my back. The cracks that I had thought subsided when the Queen casted that spell on me were back again.
Temporary healing probably unless I didn't give my back enough time to repair from the inside. Well if it's temporary healing then I just got trolled by the Queen.
I had been there on the forest floor splayed on the ground for hours. How did I know? The sun was starting to set. I was starting to get hungry to considering I hadn't eaten since morning. The love in the air there was easy to collect and eat considering it was being shared out amongst the drones. I had also found out some stuff that was intriguing. Turns out that the only Changelings able to feed off emotions other than love was the Queen and the High Generals, but it never actually fully gave them the 'nutrients or 'energy' to live on. They needed love eventually to live, well from what I picked up that is. I laughed to myself as I remembered feeding off Caleb's happiness.
Means I would be high up in the Changeling rank to be able to do that. I thought smirking to myself.
Should I go find some food now or rest then get something??? Ahh I should rest. So tired.
I managed to crawl (army style hell yeah) to a nearby tree and curled up there.
I quickly dozed off and fell asleep with so many questions running through my head.
Why me and Caleb, why are we hear, what does that orb have to do with anything and why am I different then other Changelings?
Darkness then Light, Darkness then Light, Darkness then Light, Darkness then Light
"Ok I think I FUCKING GET IT!" I yelled out furiously.
I was in a dream. My dream, and I was standing on nothing and was floating with nothing around. Nothing happened at first then there was a great light followed by darkness again and kept repeating and repeating and repeating and repeating (Well you get the idea) until I yelled out.
As soon as I yelled out the light display stopped. Then something I wouldn't believe would happen did. Light and darkness collided from each side of this place collided, then it was turning and turning to best each other and become the victor. But what happened next did make me think hard. The darkness and light merged together to form a neutral dark and light then it started spinning around and around on the spot, with the darkest part on one side and the lightest part on the other side.
Balance, it's something to do with balance.
I just stood there and watched for ages. I decided to look down and saw my feet.
Heh feet. WAIT FEET !?!?!?!?!
I realised I was in my human form, in the same clothes that I was in right before I was forced into this world with Caleb.
I looked around and I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw Caleb standing opposite from me. He was in his human form to.
"HEY CALEB!" I yelled out not believing my eyes.
He turned around and saw me then started to yell back
"HEY JAYDEN, DO YOU KNOW WHERE THE HELL AR-!" He started to yell but never finished when the 'balanced' dark and light engulfed him and from the outside (it was like cloud more than light I could only see his shadow). I could see him changing from his human form to his pegasus form and back again. The screaming was nonstop even though it was more or less swearing nonstop and yelling more like it. I guessed it was from the pain I mean come on you keep turning into a different species then back for ages.
"OI I COMING IN TO HELP YOU!" I yelled out in
But as soon as I took a step towards to the orb (you could say which was spinning whilst he was in it though he wasn't spinning), flung me back and I thudded the on the ground.
Wait ground? What dafuq just happened.
I opened my eyes after a few seconds of laying on the ground and found that I was laying on the spot where I fell asleep on. I could see my forelegs in front of me with my hooves.
Must've been a dream but wow what a weird dream, it seemed so real I thought whilst breathing fast and shallow.
I calmed my self down till I was breathing regularly. I then got up and started walking along the edge of the forest and started looking for civilization. My back was still killing me, but not as bad but still very painful nonetheless.
I was looking for a civilization, and I found one it was a town by the looks of it and if I'm not mistaking it was the town that the battle was in and I was standing on the exact same spot where I fed on Caleb's happiness. The sun was rising indicating that it was morning
Okay, now I'm very hungry
A/N: Sorry about how short my chapters are but I promise I will make them bigger. School holdiays have just started and I have alot of time on my hands. But work still is a pain but I will try to get them done better.
