It was a wonderful sunny day in Ponyville. Rainbow Dash was sitting on a pillow in Twilight's castle as the alicorn prepared for a spell. The spell in question was a Pegasus teleportation spell. After this spell the Pegasus would only need to think of a place and flap their wings. A single flap and they would be there. Twilight had found the incomplete spell in an old book and thought that since she had free time she should complete the spell. In her opinion it sounded stupid since she could use a normal teleportation spell on anypony as well as herself and it would work perfectly fine yet she wanted to test if such a specific spell would work on alicorns. But more importantly she had to test if this spell would work at all. That's what Rainbow was for.
Twilight used her magic on Rainbow and a huge explosion occurred. "Flap your wings!" Twilight shouted.
" Are you alright?" Twilight asked her confused friend.
" Why did you shout at me?!" Rainbow asked Queen Twilight the First.
" When?" The Princess asked her loyal servant.
" Now." Rainbowel replied.
" I only asked if you were alright." Sparkleshine told her secret love interest.
" No, before that you told me to flap my wings" Dasher told her best friend in the whole wide world.
" I thought about it. But I didn't say it" Twinkle Sparkle replied. " Wait a moment! This means that you can read ponies minds!"
" What?" Rainbow Dashing asked.
" I am a pretty horse princess" Twilight Sparkles and Glitter thought.
" Try to listen to my thoughts" Twilight said.
" You're a pretty horse princess?" Rainbow asked.
" If you say so" Twilight said as a she blushed.
" Bye Twi . I'm going to try out my new ability" Rainbow Dash said as she waved goodbye to her friend.
Twilight didn't hear her. She just thought about the compliment she received from her friend. Rainbow never gave out compliments to anypony but herself. Maybe Rainbow has a crush on her. That would be great as Twilight could marry Rainbow and have another reason to make her immortal. She wondered if Rainbow could hear her but she couldn't as she was too far away listening to the thoughts of random passers by.
" What colour should I dye my mane. Perhaps gold. Oh yes. That would be as divine as fine wine. " Rarity thought as Rainbow Dash listened from a cloud and laughed.
" Oh my Celestia's booty. It's Rainbow Dazzle. She looks as awesome as ever" Scootaloo thought.
"Hi Rainbean! " Scootalie said to her definitely not adoptive sister.
" Hi kid. I have the ability to read minds now, isn't that cool?" Rainbow Dish told her secret twin.
" That's really cool. I need to ask you for a favor" Scooter said. " I need you to read Cheerilee's mind and tell me if she's thinking about my unfinished homework assignment" Loo told her best sister.
" Of course." Rainbow said and flew away.
The schoolhouse was closed yet a few young ponies were still inside. They had stayed behind either for detention, to complete unfinished schoolwork or for after school activities. Cheerilee was marking homework assignments at her desk while keeping an eye on the detention ponies and ponies completing their school work. A few foals were speaking to each other but it was relatively quiet. Cheerilee was prepared to shout if it got too loud tough. Outside were a few foals practicing to play the cello as a grey earth pony called Octavia instructed them on how to play.
Rainbow Dash watched Cheerilee trough the window. She then focused and began listening to Cheerilee's thoughts.
" Scootaloo is the most wonderful student I have ever had in terms of appearance. She hasn't returned the homework assignment or stayed behind for her detention but she has the most beautiful behind I have ever seen. " Cheerilee thought.
Rainbow Dash stared at the earth pony teacher with shock, confusion and disgust. She was appalled that her little sister's teacher had such horrifically illegal dark thoughts.
" If only it were legal for us to be together, I would have that pretty filly as my child bride and I would give all my bits to her sister Rainbow Dash so that I could rightfully buy my precious, beautiful filly Scootaloo." Cheerilee thought.
Rainbow Dash vomited on the floor and hid behind a flower bush as to not be seen by that disgusting teacher Cheerilee or any of the school ponies inside the building. Rainbow Dash had never been so disgusted in her life not even that one time when a bee landed in her soup and she unknowingly started to chew it while it was still alive. Fluttershy still hasn't forgiven her for that and it was 3 years ago. Rainbow knew that nopony would ever forgive Cheerilee if they knew about her horrific secret. But she also knew that she couldn't send Cheerilee to prison without any evidence. The police wouldn't care about her seeing Cheerilee's thoughts and would think that she was just a crazy mare. Rainbow needed to find a way to catch that sicko out.
Rainbow stood up and wiped the vomit from her mouth. She looked in through the window as she began to think of a plan.
Cheerilee continued thinking about Scootaloo.. "We could even adopt a few foals once you're older my dear Scootaloo. We would be the most perfect family who ever lived. It would be amazing my dear future wife Scootaloo"
Without realizing Cheerilee had begun drawing a picture of herself and Scootaloo. She signed her signature on the piece of paper when she was done. Rainbow Dash saw it and jumped through the window, grabbed the inappropriate drawing and stared at Cheerilee. " You're going to jail, you foal fiddler! " Rainbow Dash shouted at Cheerilee before she flew away to the police station.
" Rainbow! Was my teacher thinking about my homework assignment?" Scootaloo asked with a worried look on her face.
" Your homework assignment is the thing you shouldn't worry about. Come on kiddo, we're getting ice cream" Rainbow replied.
" YAY!" Scootaloo shouted.
