Chapter 9: First Summons and Spending time with an old Friend or The First of Many Pranks

After the play and Polished Bronzed punishment Celestia and Luna took the nine of us to a sitting room where we enjoyed each other’s company and some hot chocolate. Just as Night Light asked about how I arrived in Equestria I heard someone shouting in my head. [THRIN! GET OVER HERE!]

“Be back in a few everyone. It appears I’m being Summoned by another Displaced.” I said placing my cup down on a table before disappearing in a flash of ultramarine light. When I reappeared it was in a blue column of light. Noticing my hood was over my face I reached up to fix that. In front of me was a red haired Dwarf, a tall man in black armor and a large Timberwolf made from pine wood and glowing yellow eyes.  “So that’s what being Summoned feels like, interesting. Greetings Master Dwarf. I am Thrin how may I be of assistance?”

“Wait, time-out.” The Dwarf gestured at my outfit. “That robe… you’re a Summoner?”

“Correct. I’m a League of Legends Displaced but instead of summoning the Champions I have the ability to transform into the Champions. While in their forms I have access to all their abilities, on top of the Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest and Fire Emblem magic I’ve been learning.” I replied.

“So… that includes gender… I have a question about the female champions you turn into.”

“Yes?”

“This isn’t about comfort or freaking out, it’s just from one guy to another have you ever… experimented with that? Like in private? Because I have met several who have been curious and…”

Understanding what he was trying to say I nodded my head. “I see where you’re going but the answer is no. It’s not that I’m not curious it’s just that I don’t have the time. Back home I have two Displaced running around, one I know is evil and the other...well I’m not sure about him but so far all the evidence points to me having to fight two evil Displaced and monsters from their Universes.”

“Shiiiiit… say you know I could help you out, I’m a master in any craft, I could make you some armor, weapons… a kick-ass mech… in payment for helping me out, I’ve gotten a lot of practice making items for the merchant which he sells to people to displace and-I should really be keeping my mouth shut especially since I think I recognize that robe…”

“Ah you must be talking about THE Merchant. I wasn't Displaced by him if your concerned about that… at least I don’t think I was, in any case I have no problems with him, and thank you for the offer I’ll keep it in mind. Now why did you call me and who are your friends?”

“Alright well first off I’ll need to ask two questions… first off, are you aware of a website known as Fimfiction.com?”

“Yes. In fact I know that this conversation is most likely being written down by Authors as we speak. In fact I’ve met two other versions of ‘me’ who were Displaced as other characters.”

“The multiverse is weird, fanfiction is the future, got it, Just don’t get too meta… now the next question is just as important… are you aware of ‘Fall of Equestria’?”

I narrowed my eyes in anger and scowled. “Yes and if you’re dealing with that kind of problem I know just the thing.” Reaching for the small box Thrin pulled out a scroll and quickly looked it over. “If you know anyone who can copy this I’m willing to give the instructions on how to build a Nexus and Turrets from the League. You’ll also get the Minions due to the spell creating them being part of the Nexus, but before I do I want you to promise me that you’ll do everything in your power to protect this knowledge from those who would misuse it. It is a way for infinite troops after all.”

The Dwarf grabbed the scroll and summoned a square stone column, after placing the scroll writing down onto the side and smash it in with a hammer before passing the scroll back and smashing the column leaving a scroll made of iron. “I put some extra magic in it to make it Dwarven scripture, and besides me and my wife, there are no other Dwarves here.”

Just then the armored man spoke up. “Excuse me, my lord, but I wish to say something to our guest.”

Turning my head to look at him I said. “Yes?”

The man walk up and took of his helmet revealing himself as a Caribou. “I may not be able to apologize for what my people have done, but I at least want you to know there is at least one of us here that can learn the right way… and if not this armor is very durable so feel free to vent your anger out.”

My expression softened and I stepped forwards to lay a hand on his shoulder. “I do not hold it against your race. I hold it against those who act. To you who have learned I have no reason to be angry. While I know not everyone will agree with me I choose to see you as who you are and not WHAT you are.”

“Well that’s good to hear, I honor you, Thrin.”

“And I thank you, as the king of the new Dwarven Alliance… hm… this feels like it was resolved too quickly… yo half-elf, you wanna meet my other half?”

“Other half?” said Starlight who I just noticed was there.

“Other half?” The Caribou parroted

“I would be honored to meet your other half, and as for this being ‘resolved too quickly’. I’ve always believed never to blame everyone of a certain race when only a few are disgraceful. After all Riven is from Noxus and I like her while most of the other Champions from that place can go die in a fire for all I care.”

“Eh, I’m a Kha’Zix kinda guy, well if you’re okay with it.”

Raising his hammer he smashed it down causing the pillar to move. Nothing happened for a moment then he was engulfed in black flames. When he stepped out of the flames I saw a tall figure whose outfit was covered by a large red coat. While his eyes were hidden by orange sunglasses. “Hello!” He said in intentionally cheery voice. “Well I must say you are very honored, two kings for the price of one, you must be at walmart or something.”

Upon seeing who walked out I blinked for a moment resisting the urge to run going ‘Nope. Nope. Nope. Nope. Nope. Nope. SO MUCH NOPE!’. “Alucard. I thought he meant his wife or something. I don’t know whether to get the heck out of here or shake your hand right now.”

“Oh come on, don’t be such a bitch, it’s not like I’ll bite!” He said with a small chuckle. “Get it?”

I couldn’t stop myself and smirked. “I get it. Now how you and...wait I don’t think the Dwarf ever told me his name. Ah well shit happens.”

“Oh you mean the boss? His name is Orgran, he’s basically the one in charge since we share the same soul because I didn’t exist before. You see, and this is kind of interesting, him and his friend Interse, who was an undead warlock, were fighting this giant nether demon that turned the rest of their group into smears, the skelebastard sacrificed himself to save Orgran and in his last breath placed an artifact known as the black-heart into Orgran’s chest. I came to be the first time he died… which was to a bug making him extra crispy… seriously!” His demeanor changed in a snap. “I get created after the most embarrassing death! And I’m not allowed to kill the bitch who did it! Noooo! Orgran wants to make a point so that she’ll reform just like he did with Discord! Do you know how annoying it is to actually hold back on killing something?!”

I shook my head. “Not yet. So far the only things I’ve had to kill were monsters from the Dragon Quest and Dragon’s Crown universes. I did save a kraken named Khalamari from Dhoulmagus’s control a while back, but I did get a chance to curb stomp Draven when he tried to princessnap Luna on Halloween. That was fun! That reminds me!” Reaching for my cube I pulled out the Raven Staff I bought from Shopkeep. “With everything that’s been going on I completely forgot I bought this!” Raising the staff into the air a raven flew out of the Everfree and flew to my shoulder as I put the staff away. “And now I have a raven familiar. I’ll need to think up a name for you.”

In a burst of black flames Alucard transformed back into Orgran. “Huh? Oh cool you got a familiar too, well Pine here is my familiar and mount… have you ever seen a Dire Timberwolf?”

“No I haven’t but I have seen an Alpha once as it wandered past my home. I do have a few ideas on how they came to be in my Universe but I’ve had to put those on the back burner.”

“Any timberwolf, even an Alpha, is not the same as a Dire, I can easily vouch for that.” Pine said much to my surprise.

I quickly shook it off and said. “Well it’s very nice to meet you Pine.”

“Charmed…” He replied now I’m not sure in a bad mood or if he just doesn’t like me for comparing him to a normal Alpha.

“Well, I think this about wraps this up, here.” Orgran said as he passed me an emerald that had been carved into a pickaxe and a bag. When I looked inside I saw about thirty crystals that emanated dark magic.

“What’s with the dark magic crystals?”

“Well I thought you’d like something using dark magic so you can find a workaround to some of the more corruptive champions, the actual purpose of the magic in the crystals is merely decoration, something you could gift to other ponies, like a night light or a dream-catcher, it’s magic, just magic that’s harmless.”

“Thank you Orgran. This will definitely come in handy.” I said as he put the bag in the cube and offered a hand which he promptly shook.

“No problem, and I did put a lot in there… mostly so you’ll share them out and I get advertisement, like ‘oh? Where’d you get that’ ‘got them from this Dwarf named Orgran’ whatever, I should let you be on your way now. Thrin, our contract is complete.”

As the light reappeared I said. “Don’t be surprised if a Wolf-Crow Tengu named Arashi turns up. He’s another version of me who likes to explore the Multiverse.”

“No problem! Don’t be a stranger!” And with that the light vanished leaving no trace it had ever appeared.

Reappearing on the couch I was glad to see that not much time had past as everyone was still sitting where I left them but I did see that my cup had been replaced with a fresh one. “Ah you’re back Thrin. How’d it go and who’s your new friend?” Celestia asked.

“It went very well. I met a Dwarf named Orgran, some of his friends and this is my new familiar. I’ve yet to come up with a name for them. Fluttershy can you tell me whether they’re male or female and if they’re in perfect health?”

“All right.” Fluttershy said as the raven flew over to her.

“Did you get any souvenirs?” Rainbow asked.

“Just a copy of his token and a bag full of magic crystals. According to Orgran the magic is mealy decoration and could be used like a night light or dream-catcher. I’ll figure out who to give them to later.” I said shrugging not telling them that the crystals have dark magic or the mirth in Orgran’s eyes that made me think he was trying to prank me. (Guess this means I need to think of a revenge prank, but trying to get around his friends could prove tricky. Guess that’ll just make it more satisfying.)

“Ah come on Thrin! You know you’ll going to give them to us eventually!” Rainbow exclaimed. “Just hand them over!”

“Then I guess you DON’T want me to teach you Wuju style this spring.” I said hoping this would distract Rainbow.

Rainow’s eyes went wide in shock. “I do, I really do!”

“Then do you promise not to bother me about the crystals?”

“Yes I promise! Cross my heart, hope to fly. Stick a cupcake in my eye!” Rainbow said quickly much to everyone’s amusement.

I started snickering much to Rainbow’s confusion before realization dawned on her face. “Why are you… Wait a moment!”

“Yup! I was bluffing!” I chuckled as Celestia and Luna glanced at each other.

“Buck you Thrin!” Rainbow exclaimed before the whole group burst out laughing.

Once the laughter died down Luna said. “I hope you planning in teaching more Ponies this ‘Wuju’ style Thrin.”

“Not at the moment. It’ll be hard enough trying to teach Rainbow because the two Champions who use it are bipeds, but I’ll figure something out.”

“Can you show us the Champions?” Velvet asked.

“Ya I want to see which Champions I’ll be training under!” Rainbow said.

“Before you do that Thrin I want to let you know that your raven friend is male in is in perfect health.” Fluttershy said with the raven perched on her head.

“Thanks Fluttershy. That’s going to make it a lot easier to think up a name for him.” I got up and stood in the middle of the room. “CHAMPION TRANSFORMATION! MASTER YI!” As I stood in the form of Master Yi I had the point of my sword nested in the carpet. “I know you’ve seen this form before but this is Master Yi. The only survivor of his order and mentor to the other Champion who follows the path of Wuju.”

“What happened to the rest of his order?” Night Light asked.

“Well I could tell you.” I said with a smirk as I brought a large blue book with ‘Champions of the League of Legends’ written in large golden letters. “OR I could show you one of the smaller projects I’ve been working on.”

Everyone’s eyes lit up as Weaver levitated the book over to her. “I started that book after my first visit to Canterlot. With a little help from Arashi I managed to get a picture of every Champion and I wrote down a quick summery for each ones history. I thought about adding a small passage saying my opinions on each Champion but in the end I decided not to. Hope you like my Christmas gift.” Discord snapped his fingers and suddenly everyone had a copy of the book.

“Thrin this…This is amazing! I can’t believe you did this so quickly!” Twilight said.

“I can’t take all the credit. Arashi also wrote some of this but he wanted me to take all the credit.” I said shrugging before a small smirk appeared. “Glad to know one of my secret projects is so well received.”

“At least we’ll know more if any of the more…nefarious Champions turn up.” Celestia said.

“Well now that you all have a copy of my Christmas gift I think it’s time to show you the other Champion who uses Wuju and personally he’s one of my favorites. CHAMPION TRANSFORMATION! WUKONG!” Looking around I smirked when I saw everyone’s shocked expression when they saw that Wukong is a large monkey wearing red and gold armor as I leaned against a large bow staff which felt as sturdy as a stone pillar.

“The only other person who knows Wuju…is a monkey?” Rainbow said.

“You got something against the Monkey King?” I asked and with a quick motion extended my staff and stole Rainbow’s mug of hot chocolate but instead of brining it closer I placed it on her head. “Never underestimate a user of Wuju.”

Rainbow didn’t move but Weaver quickly used her magic to move the cup and put it on the table. The rest of the visit was rather pleasant but eventually I said my good byes before Discord snapped his fingers and the two of us reappeared in my study. “Thrin what kind of magic is in those crystals?”

“Orgran told me it was a kind of dark magic that can be used as a nightlight or dream-catcher but considering the mirth in his eyes I’m positive he was trying to prank me, and now that your free we can put our heads together we can make a training room where so I don’t have to worry about using new forms and the Champions personality trying to manipulate me.” I said with a hint of regret at the end.

Discord placed his talon on my shoulder. “It wasn’t your fault Thrin. Neither of us knew that Mordekaiser would take over like that.”

“But I should have thought about that before I turned into him! The moment I appeared in Equestria I knew that I could turn into the Champions but the thought of them taking over or manipulating me never even flickered across my mind! Yes, it took a hundred and fifty years before it happened but that doesn’t change the fact I nearly killed you!” I said as tears slowly flowed from my eyes as I placed the bag of crystals on my desk. “You’re my best friend Discord. You’re the one who helped me learn how to shut out most of the Champions but they’re still there. Why do you think I created the different categories in the first place?”

“I know Thrin, I know.” Discord said as he gave me a comforting hug. “Now then let’s find out what the crystals really do!”

Taking a steadying breath I nodded. “Thanks for that Ranma. That’s been nagging at me for years. Now then if we’re going to find out what these really do then I’m going to need you to put up a barrier around the tower just in case.” Discord nodded snapped his fingers. “CHAMPION TRANSFORMATION! MORGANA!”

“Haven’t seen her quite a while.” Discord said as he looked at a tall buxom woman with tattered black wings, long purple hair, a lightning bolt scar over her left eye, a purple armor bikini top, purple arm bracers, and the leggings of a purple dress.

“True. It has been a while since I became Morgana. Now let’s figure out exactly what these do.”

*Three hours later.*

“Why that sneaky little Dwarf!” I said with a laugh holding a crystal up as it glowed softly in the setting sun’s light.

“What he do?” Discord asked as he looked up from his book.

“I should have known what he was trying to do after he mentioned the ‘Fall of Equestria’. These crystals turn ponies and probably any other race on Equestria anthropomorphic. In other words humanoid.” I explained before an idea struck me and I grinned and focused my magic on the crystal.

“I know that grin. What are you planning?” Discord asked with a large grin.

“One moment… Let me just…. Eureka!” I exclaimed and held up my hand in triumph. “Thanks to Morgana’s power I’m able to ‘program’ these crystals so they give a specific form. I’m going to take Orgrans’s prank and take it in an entirely new direction! Think fast!” Throwing the crystal at Discord he caught just as a look of relation crossed his face and with a small *pop* Discord changed into a horned human just an inch or two shorter then me with spiky white hair, mismatched eyes with the left being blood red and the other a shining gold, wearing a heavy brown coat with white fur trim, black fingerless gloves, blue jeans and white loafers.

Discord looked over his new form. “Not bad. Not bad at all! But you should be lucky for my Chaos magic otherwise I would have been in my birthday suite.” Snapping his fingers he transformed back into a Draconequus before shifting back into a human. “And I can still look like my old self! So about this prank you’re thinking of?”

“Well first thing we’ll need to do is…”

*Three days later. Just after sunrise, Celestia’s room. 3rd person*

As Celestia walked back into her room she noticed a package on her desk with and a note. Upon opening the note she read. “Dear Celestia. Here’s one of the crystals Orgran gave me and a new outfit. Hope you enjoy. Thirn”

Chuckling Celestia said. “Now why did he send me a new outfit?” Opening the package and saw a white and blue dress, with a red ribbon, a blue bow and a golden tiara that looked like the one she used now but much smaller, and a small purple crystal that shaped like the twenty sided die that she had seen some of her guards using when the played a game during their off time. Smiling to herself she put on the necklace and with a *pop* she felt herself change. Dashing back into her bathroom she looked in the full body mirror saw a small humanoid girl with hooves for feet that she guessed was about nine to ten years old like the Champion Annie. She was glad to see she still had her horn and wings and her hair still flowed in an ethereal breeze.

Celestia stared at her reflection for a few minutes as she tried to understand what had happened before it dawned on her. “TTTHHHHHRRRRRIIIIIIINNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Meanwhile Discord and Thrin were had gotten up early to work on the Warp Gate’s blueprints but when they heard Celestia’s yell the both fell to the ground holding their sides in laughter.
