After issuing his challenge, Burst Stream did the only logical thing. He headed home. "It's only been a day, and it felt like forever!" Burst said as he threw himself onto his bed. "I think I have a newfound respect for Moon and Luna. Sleeping on hard moon rocks really makes you appreciate a nice, soft bed."
"Funny. We could say the same about you." Celestia said with a giggle as she and Nightmare Moon teleported into Burst's bedroom. "Moon really missed snuggling you."
Burst blushed a little. "I won't lie. I did miss feeling the two of you being close to me." He was soon embraced by the women he loved so much. "This is probably what I missed the most about being back here..."
"I was alone for a thousand years. Then you came into my life." Moon said sweetly as she nuzzled against Burst. "You wanna keep on being held like this for a while? Also, you sure seem a lot more calm than you were earlier."
Burst sighed. "Don't get me wrong. I'm still pretty damn furious. Blitz used Luna as a tool. Before? I was at my limit with him. But now? I think he's the one person I actually hate with every last bit of my being. He'll pay for what he's done. But that's not what matters most to me." Burst put his arms around Celestia and Nightmare Moon. "I'm back home, and I'm here with the two of you. That's all I really care about." And with that, the three drifted off into a peaceful slumber. A moment of comfort before the final battle dawned.
