Chapter 11: Finding out Written by Raikry
The walk towards Sweet Apple Acres felt long for Blitz as he felt both his heart and fear rise. He quit his old job not long ago and now he's going back to their home to have dinner with them.
Not only does Applejack hates him but even Apple Bloom. If Big Mac hadn't had invited him, then he would have been in his house right now. As he he looks up, the sun soon starts to set as he was getting closer and closer towards his destination. He soon spots the Sweet Apple Acres not far from him and knew he was getting close.
"Great." he said to himself. "Hope I don't get kicked out."
He keeps on walking until he reaches the front door. From his view he see's the house and not only that he also see's Apple Bloom and two other fillies playing. He then turns his head away just so he won't get caught by her that he was staring or hope she doesnt see him.
He reaches the house and knocks on the front door waiting until somepony answers. He then hears the sound of hooves getting closer towards the door and behind the screen door it reveals to be Big Mac. He shows a smile, relief that he could make it for dinner.
"Glad you made it Blitz" he said clearing a path for him to enter.
Blitz walks in and looks around the house. that he havent been for long "Thanks for having me over." Big Mac enters the kitchen and start preparing the table for tonight dinner.
"Make yourself at home." he said.
Blitz sits in the living room and keeps looking around the house "Man its been long since I've been here" he thought. he hears a door opening, his heart soon starts to beat in fear, hoping is not Applejack.
Luckily, yet surprisingly, an young filly Pegasus pony enters the house and walks towards Big Mac. he see's the lips of the filly moving and big mac also having a conversation but gladly it wasnt Applejack.
Big Mac finish talking and the orange filly notice Blitz in the living room. Blitz then notices her jaw fell in the floor confusing the stallion she quickly went towards him and was freaking out like she's meeting her idol.
Blitz, now starting to worry that her was going on he started to break the silent "Hey there kid um?" He hisitated for a moment before asking,
"Are you ok?"
She nods Rapidly and started to speak "Hi my name is Scootaloo and I have to say Mister I never seen anypony so fast like how you flew when you threw Lyra Heartstrings.
It was like whoosh and then wasssh" she mimics with sound effect making him smile.
He never knew somepony was watching him while he threw her. "Names Red Blitz squirt." he said with a smile.
Scootaloo looks at him "I know who you are." Suddenly Scootaloo looks down on the floor and was drawing a circle with her hooves on the floor like she has something on her mind she wants to say.
He notice this and went and ask the little filly what was the matter "Is something wrong?"
Scootaloo looks at him and was opening her mouth and was trying to form the word that she wants to say "Please mister don't take this the wrong way but....Rainbow Dash mention you and she specifically told me to stay away from you and I dont know why cause you are a nice pony" She said.
Blitz sighs and smiles at the filly "I guess she even telling close friends of her's to stay away from me since I never did nothing wrong"
"You must have done something really bad."
Blitz scratches his head and lets out a laugh "Yeah is a long story for a another time I suppose"
Scootaloo understood and then heard her friend calling out her name outside "Well I got to go. It was nice metting you." And just like that, she left the house and went towards her friends.
"Well that was unexpected" He notice Big macingtosh coming in the Room.
"Eeyup" He places the plates in the table and started setting up "How bout you givem e a helping hooves partner"
"Yeah sure" Blitz started helping Big mac with the table.
the silence if the room fell and blitz was looking around the room and he realize that Granny Smith wasnt in the room. he looks towards Big Mac and his face change to normal to sad. Like he knew what was coming.
"Um where Granny Smith?" Blitz ask.
Big Mac took a moment and looks to his left and saw a cabinet. this took the pegasus by suprise he look the direction towards the living room where the cabinet was located and his hooves automatically started to move.
He was infront of the cabinet and his heart was beating. he looks at Big Mac and notice he was looking the other way. Blitz looks in the cabinet once more and as he was to open. He then hears the sound of an open door open along with the sound of hooves entering the house. Blitz didnt wanted to turn around, he had a feeling he knew who it was.
"Dont you dare open that cabinet Blitz" Applejack said from behind him.
He keeps looking at the cabinet and he had fear the most. he really wanted to open the cabinet door to see but his fear wasnt letting him.
"Applejack he needs to know." Big Mac said.
A slam was heard making Blitz flinch
"He doesn't deserve to know!" He left us without saying anything!" Her screams rings through his ear but without facing her he knew she was about to explode and soon pounce on him again.
"Applejack....., her final wish
was him to know if he were to return are you not going to not complete our grandmother wish. She raised us better than that." Big Mac said with a intimatating voice.
Once more silence was heard and later the silence was broke with apple jack voice saying "Fine" with that Blitz uses his spare wing to open a cabinet and see's a picture of Granny Smith and a note that says For Blitz.
He looks back at Applejack and Big Mac who were looking the other way. He turns back at the picture and takes the note out of the envelope. He unfolds the paper and starts to read.
'Dear Blitz
If your reading this, then it means that I passed and you return to ponyville. now i dont know what happen when you left but i felt that you were hurt pretty badly and wanted to clear your head alittle bit, but to let you know im not mad at you and that your still part of this family. I know if Applejack is still mad at you but I know she's more happy to see you than you think.
She kept looking for you everywere and she even left Ponyville for awhile to look for you. She was devestated and Rainbow too I heard she was lock up in her house for awhile and she never wanted to come out until her friend help her.
Now it's not your fault that you left without saying a word but no matter what never change who you are and for my final wish is for you to come back and to help out in the farm for time to time. I'll be happy now that I'm at peace. Please look after Applejack and Apple Bloom as they look up to you like another big brother and it about time you act like one. Yours truly Granny Smith."
Tear fell on the paper and Blitz wipes them away with a hoof. Applejack heard his quiet sobs and at one point heard him repeating "I'm sorry, I'm so so sorry." Not wanting to listen any longer, she raced herself upstairs locking herself in her room while Blitz fell on the floor with tears rolling down his eyes.
