A Stranger

The six mares ran across the barren wasteland they had been pointed towards. "Twi, are you sure we're in the right place?" Asked Applejack looking worried. "I'm sure." Replied Twilight looking at Applejack. Suddenly, a strange outline appeared on the horizon. "Applejack, does that look familiar to you?" asked Rainbow Dash. "Yep. But it can't be. He couldn't get back here could he?" Replied Applejack as the figure stumbled forward. It fell to the ground with a thump and the six mares rushed forward. The strange figure rolled over and the mares gasped. Lying there was the strange person who had escaped from the Rainbow Factory. "How did you get back here?" Asked Rainbow Dash. "I was fighting someone and they fell through some sort of portal. I followed him and, I ended up here..." the creature said. "But who and what are you?" Asked Rarity. "I'm Jake and I'm what is known as a human." Replied the creature. "Is that the same portal that got you into the Rainbow Factory." Asked Rainbow Dash. "Yeah, why?" Asked Jake. "Then maybe that's where that guy went." Replied Rainbow Dash. "Good point. But we can't just go to the Rainbow Factory. I'm not sure how I stood on that cloud in the first place!" Said Jake. "Well, now your with us you might as well help." Said Twilight. "Hey, Twi?" Asked Applejack. "Yeah?" Replied Twilight. "D'ya think we should get goin'?" Asked Applejack. "Good point." Said Twilight "Lets get going. We've got people to save."

The six mares and Jake ran up the mountain towards where they would meet there fate. They would either leave this place triumphant or not leave at all. They reached the top and what met there eyes almost made them stumble off of the mountain. "What is that thing!?" Exclaimed Rarity "It is simply revolting!" "Rarity, you're gonna wake it up." Whispered Rainbow Dash, cautiously. "Bu--" Rainbow Dash put her hoof over Rarity's mouth. "Shut up" She said through gritted teeth. Then there was a loud bang and the creature woke. The creature was gigantic. It brown wings blotted out the sun and it's breath...it's breath smelt like rotten flesh. There was no turning back now. It was time to face their destiny.
