Fluttershy woke open to the light of the sun, she yawned and smiled, it was the twenty-third of December, it was only two days until Christmas, Twilight had taught her it was a word the meant hearth´s warming in the human world, but either way, she was looking forward to it.She got out of bed and walked downstairs, she made herself pancakes, fed her animals and brought in the tree she had picked out, once she was finished dragging it inside, her friend Harry set it up for her.
"Thank you, Harry," she said
The bear nodded and called the other animals, they came over with a bunch of lights and ornaments, Fluttershy smiled, she was proud of the animals, they always help her to decorate the tree, and this year, she was excited to show it to one of her dearest friends.
"Alright, we need to at least decorate the tree before Discord gets here, he´s been feeling a bit frustrated lately so I thought this might cheer him up"
Angel rolled his eyes
"Think you might catch him under the mistletoe this year? he teased
Fluttershy blushed a deep crimson.
"O-oh no, i-it´s nothing like that Angel, he´s just a good friend"
"Yeah right, I´ve seen the way he looks at you, in fact, I´d bet ALL the animals that by the end of Christmas, you´ll at LEAST get a kiss from him"
Fluttershy shook her head "You and I both know that the chances of the happening are about a million to one"
Angel rolled his eyes once more and continued decorating the tree, Fluttershy put on and silver and gold decorations, along with some tinsel, she also helped with the ornaments, and she slid the presents under the tree, she put the star on the top, however, the star did not light up like it usually did
"It´ll have to do this year," she said, then she took a step back and looked at the tree, it was beautiful, just like it had been every year, she smiled.
"Good job everyone"
She turned to Harry,
"You can go hibernate now Harry, I appreciate your help"
Harry smiled and went outside towards his cave
she dismissed the other animals and Waited for Discord, after a while, she heard a knock on the door, she answered it with a wide grin.
"Hello Discord"
Discord smiled at her
"Fluttershy dearest, how are you?"
"I´m fine" she replied,"Would you like to come in?"
"Of Course," he said as he walked in,
"So you said you had a surprise, I wonder what it-"
Discord then let out a huge gasp, Fluttershy became aware that he saw the Christmas tree, she smiled.
"Surprise!!!, I know you´ve been feeling a bit negative lately, so I thought I´d show you my Christmas tree, what do you think?"
Discord said nothing
"I knew you´d love it, so I was thinking we could make Christmas cookies, and then we could have some hot cocoa, and then we could-"
"No....not you too..." Discord said softly
"W-What?" asked Fluttershy, confused
"You REALLY celebrate Christmas?"
"Um...yes,"
"Are you SERIOUS? You REALLY think Santa Claus is REAL?"
"Y-Yes...but don´t you like it? I know that you´ve been feeling frustrated lately, so I thought I´d-"
"CHRISTMAS, IS THE REASON I´VE BEEN FEELING FRUSTRATED, EVERYPONY´S BEEN CELEBRATING IT, AND SO ARE YOU"
"B-But, I thought that you would-"
"WELL, YOU KNOW WHAT? YOU THOUGHT WRONG!!!"
Fluttershy gulped
"B-But, Christmas is a w-wonderful holiday, and you´re supposed to wait for Santa-"
"THERE´S NO SUCH THING AS SANTA CLAUS" Discord Snapped at her "He´s nothing but a STUPID figment of your Imagination!!!"
Fluttershy trembled "D-Discord...I-I thought you would love this"
Discord gave her the cold shoulder
"I guess I was wrong, you don´t know me at ALL"
Discord then disappeared
Fluttershy sat there, Tears upon her face.
Discord looked through Fluttershy´s window and saw her crying, he sighed, if she only knew...

Very late at night, Fluttershy sat under a tree, sniffling, she couldn´t believe that Discord didn´t like Christmas, she felt as though he would never talk to her again, then suddenly a voice interrupted her thoughts, it was her friend Twilight.
"Fluttershy what´s wrong?"
"Well...let´s just say a certain Draconquus, doesn´t want to be my friend anymore"
Twilight´s eyes widened "WHAT?!"
"He doesn´t appreciate the fact that I celebrate Christmas"
"Really?" said Twilight "I mean, DISCORD, hates Christmas? I thought he would have wanted to celebrate it with you"
"With me?" asked Fluttershy, turning pink
Twilight laughed nervously
"Well, I mean of course since you´re good friends of course, Discord´s going to kill me yeah, you two are really close so, yeah...heh heh"
Fluttershy blinked, then she sighed
"I don´t understand how Discord could hate Christmas"
Twilight put on a face, Fluttershy knew that face anywhere; She was thinking
"Well...Discord loves special events, and holidays, except Christmas, it might be because of something that happened in the past"
Fluttershy nodded
"But what? we can´t ask him, he´d never tell us" she said sadly
"Maybe..if we time-traveled-"
"Time travel? But I thought you said it was too dangerous"
"Desperate times call for desperate measures," she said briskly "DO have a time-traveling spell, but it doesn´t take you back very far, and it only lasts for a few minutes"
Fluttershy frowned, then Suddenly Twilight´s face lit up like a jack-o-lantern
"That´s IT!!!" the alicorn exclaimed, she helped Fluttershy to her feet
"We need to go to the muffin shop," said Twilight
"What?"
"C´mon," said Twilight as she trotted towards the market
"H-Hey, wait for me!!!"

Twilight walked into the Muffin shop with Fluttershy in hot pursuit
"Hello Derpy," she said
Derpy smiled
"Twilight, it´s nice to see you, you too Fluttershy" she added, seeing Fluttershy, who shyly waved
"What brings you two here?" asked the mare, her eyes crossed
"Well, unfortunately, we´re not here for Muffins, I heard you talking about something that could take you back in time"
Derpy´s eyes dilated
"I-I´m not allowed to talk about that, T-The doctor would be mad at me"
Derpy looked to the left, then to the right,
"Come with me" the mare whispered
the three mares then walked outside the shop, but before they left, Derpy turned her sign for "Open" to "Closed", they then started on their way

"BORROW the TARDIS?!" Exclaimed Doctor Whooves
"Please Doc, these two really need it"
"Is this a real time machine?" Fluttershy whispered to Twilight
Twilight nodded "He´s a genius," she said
"It´s not completely fixed Derpy, it contains side effects.I need to adjust it" the stallion said
"Is it dangerous?" asked Twilight
"Well, no, but-"
"Please Doc, it´s just for a little while" pleaded the cross-eyed Pegasus
The Docter sighed
"Very well, your friends may borrow it, but remember the most IMPORTANT glitch, for whatever purpose it is used for, the one who´s using it needs to be back by midnight, otherwise they will be stuck in that particular time...forever"
Fluttershy gulped, and nodded, she stepped into the Tardis, Doctor handed her a watch to keep track of her time.
"H-How does this work?" asked Fluttershy
"Just hold still, and I´ll reset the coordinates" he turned to Twilight
"How long back?" he asked
Twilight thought, then she said "less than A thousand and fourteen years"
Doctor Whooves walked over to the computer inside the Tardis and did as he said, he then turned to Fluttershy
"Press this button when you´re ready" he instructed pointing to a big red button
It´s always the big red button she thought, then after a bit of hesitation, she pressed the button, Fluttershy felt the air around her twist and turn, she felt herself being flung back in time, inside the Tardis, then everything went black,

Fluttershy´s eyes opened slowly, she stood up, though it wasn´t easy, she then looked around, she was still inside the Tardis, then she saw her reflection, she couldn´t believe her eyes
"I´m a FILLY again" she exclaimed, she was much smaller and her mane wasn´t as long as it usually was.
"It must be one of the side effects" she thought,
She then stepped out, she didn´t have to worry about it being stolen or used, no one used them, not even in this time period.Fluttershy then took a look around, there was a little playground filled with fillies and colts playing together, they made snow angels, went sledding, and built snowponies, she didn´t recognize any of them, not that she expected to, she went towards it, she saw a group of children playing together.
"Wow, I can´t believe today´s the last day of school before winter break," said one colt
"Yeah," said a filly " can´t wait to go home to my mommy and daddy, they say they have a surprise for me when I get home!!!"
"MY mom and dad say they have CANDY for me when I get home!!!" said another boy
the group of friends laughed together and continued to play together, then that´s when Fluttershy saw the most shocking thing ever, there was a small, six-year-old version of Discord, sitting alone on the playground.
Fluttershy gasped, then smiled
"Aww, he used to be so cute"
Suddenly a snowball hit Discord in the head, he turned around, there was another group of ponies, there was a colt in the front, he started talking.
"Hey beast brain, all by yourself?"
Discord said nothing as he turned his head away from them
"Aww, look guys, Dissy´s upset, what the matter? still upset your parents gave up on you?"
Discord glared at him
"My parents DIDN´T give up on me"
"That´s what you always say on Mother´s and father´s day"
Discord threw an orange at them, but he missed, the colt snickered
"Looks you´re not very good at snowball fights, maybe you should practice with your dad, oh WAIT"
The colt and the children behind him laughed cruelly, Discord looked as though he was about to burst into tears, Fluttershy was FURIOUS, she wanted to say "STOP IT" more than anything in the world, but that might reverse time, so she just watched sadly.Suddenly a bell rang, it was a dismissal bell, all the children let the playground, except for the colt, he threw another snowball and walked away laughing his head off, Discord walked slowly away from the playground, hanging his head, he then got on a train, she guessed that this was because he lived far away, she checked her watch, much to her horror, it was already Eleven fifty-four, she must have left at eleven Thirty-four, she realized she had a choice, either she would show Discord the wonderful things about christmas and stay forever, or she would go home and lose his friendship...Soon Fluttershy knew what she was going to do.

Discord went to the edge of the train and looked up at the sky,
"La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la,

he then began to sing
"I´m wishing on a star, and
trying to believe, that even
though it´s far, he´ll find
me Christmas eve"
Discord cast his eyes downward sadly
"I guess that Santa´s busy,
cause he´s never come
around, I think of him, when
Christmas comes to town"
A single tear fell from Discord´s eye, Fluttershy walked Closer.
"The best time of the year"
she began to sing, Discord let out a startled gasp
"When everyone comes
home, with all this
Christmas cheer, it´s
hard to be alone"
Discord´s cheeks turned slightly pink
"Putting up the Christmas
tree, with friends who
come around, it´s so much
fun, when Christmas comes
to town"
Fluttershy looked at the stars
"Presents for the children,
wrapped in red and green"
Discord looked at them too
"All the things I´ve heard
about, but never really
seen"
They looked at each other and sang in unison.
"No one will be sleeping on
the night of Christmas Eve,
hoping Santa´s on his way"
Discord looked at Fluttershy, his eyes slightly wide, Fluttershy smiled at him, as if she was his childhood friend, the Draconequus gave a little smile in return, though it didn´t last long as he looked back to the stars, Fluttershy began to sing again.
"Presents for the children,
wrapped in red and green,"
Discord held his head up with his paw
"All the things I´ve heard about,
but never really seen"
Once again they sang in unison.
"No one will be sleeping on
the night of Christmas Eve,
hoping Santa´s on his way"
Fluttershy´s smiled widened
"When Santa´s sleigh bells ring"
Discord sighed
"I listen all around"
"The Harold Angels Sing"
"I never hear a sound"
Fluttershy put a hoof on Discord´s paw
"And all the dreams of children"
Discord began to smile
"Once lost, will all be found"
"That´s all I want, when Christmas
comes to town"
Discord held Fluttershy´s hooves in his paw and claw, they once again sang in unison
"That´s all I want, when Christmas comes to town"
Fluttershy looked at Discord
"I´m sorry you were bullied"
Discord´s cheeks turned red
"You saw that?"
Fluttershy nodded
"I know what it´s like"
Discord´s eye dilated
"Someone like YOU was bullied?"
"Yes, but that´s not important, what happened to your parents?"
Discord sighed
"They died when I was three, the past years I´ve been asking Santa to bring them back, but he never came through"
Fluttershy smiled
"Because they ARE with you" she put a hoof on his chest" in here
Discord looked confused
Fluttershy´s smile was tender and loving "My mother taught me that when ponies or people you love pass away, they become part of you and watch over you forever"
Discord, then began to smile as well
"What´s your name?" he asked
Fluttershy was about to answer when she saw a clock on the train, it said Eleven thirty
"What? but how-" then it hit her
"Of COURSE, my watch is fast, because it must have been a defect of the Tardis, I can go HOME"
she turned to a confused Discord
"I have to go"
"But I need to know your name"
Fluttershy looked him in the eyes
"You´ll know one day, I promise"
then before she made any regrets, she kissed Discord´s cheek and took off, Discord put a paw to his red cheek, he gave another smile.

Twilight paced back and forth
"I hope she´s alright," she said nervously
then a bright flash of light lit the room, then the tardis´s door opened, out stepped a back to normal sized and aged Fluttershy
"Did anything change?"
"Nope, the world just went back in time an hour ago, " said Twilight giving her a hug
"Wait, how do you remember my time traveling?"
"Because I witnessed you leaving" Twilight answered briskly,
"Now, I think you have a crush you need to take care of"
Fluttershy blushed a bright red
"H-How did you know?"
Twilight Chuckled
"I have my ways of knowing" she then put a hoof on her shoulder
"Good luck," said the purple alicorn encouragingly
Fluttershy then ran all the way to her cottage

Fluttershy, for the second time that day, waited for Discord´s arrival, after a while, she heard a knock on the door, she answered it with a wide grin.
"Hello Discord"
Discord smiled at her
"Fluttershy dearest, how are you?"
"I´m fine" she replied,"Would you like to come in?"
"Of Course," he said as he walked in,
"So you said you had a surprise, I wonder what it-"
Discord then let out a huge gasp, Fluttershy became aware that he saw the Christmas tree, she smiled.
"Do you like it?" she asked hopefully
Discord at first said nothing, then he smiled
"It´s wonderful," he said
Fluttershy grinned
"I didn´t know you liked Christmas so much"
Discord´s smile disappeared,
"Well...I knew who I wanted to spend it with long ago but...I never saw her again"
Fluttershy smiled
"You just did," she said
Discord´s eyes dilated
"You mean...?"
Fluttershy couldn´t stop smiling
"Surprise," she said
Discord was perplexed "..but how? that was a long time ago, how could you have-"
"I had some help" Fluttershy giggled
Discord smiled again
"In that case..."
Discord held Fluttershy against him, then unexpectedly, he kissed her, Fluttershyś entire face was pink, but she kissed him back,
Angel smirked
"Called it" he thought
Discord soon pulled away, he had a goofy grin on his face
"That's for all those years ago" Discord teased "I should have known it was you," then he saw the tree.
"Wait a minute" something isn´t right," he said, he snapped his fingers, the tree´s star light up
"That´s better"
Fluttershy smiled
"Does this mean you believe in Santa Claus?"
Discord chuckled
"Well, I don´t know about-"
suddenly, Discord and Fluttershy and Discord heard sleigh bells, then they saw him, Santa Claus and his reindeer flying past the cottage, Discord´s eyes widened
"Ho, Ho, Ho" chuckled Santa as he waved to all the houses in Ponyville
"Isn´t he wonderful?" asked Fluttershy
"You know," said Discord "I always pictured him a bit more...chubby"
Fluttershy giggled and leaned in as Discord brought her in for another kiss.
