//------------------------------// // Episode 3: Blue Eyed Hex - Part 2 // Story: Blossom's Bizarre Adventure // by veeSheep //------------------------------// Blossom quickly had to tell Sunset and Rainbow about her discovery, well, more of an educated guess than anything impressive. “I think I know his power!” Blossom exclaimed, Double visibly panicked for a second before going back to seeming confident. “Sure you do, new girl,” Double Vision taunted Loving as he did with the other two. Gutterflower appeared and attempted to hit Double in the face, but Blue Eyed Hex was summoned and protected Double, clashing fists with Blossom’s own Stand, the younger girl felt a sharp pain in her left hand, the same one her Stand punched with. “What?!” Blossom thought, clutching her left wrist and groaning in pain, “Nobody told me that what happens to your Stand happens to you too!” She shouted in her own mind. “Oh shoot, did I hurt little miss flowers?” Double chuckled to himself, “Gutterflower, eh? Close-range Stand with plant-based powers, power level is… 335? I expected more from someone who apparently was born with their ability,” He said. “Do you even know how to shut up and stop gloating?” Rainbow Dash complained before summoning Rush and trying to hit Double, but he just did as he did before and stepped to the side, but not quite far enough, as Rush was able to make a small cut on his face, nearly damaging his glasses. “Hey, you almost cut up my glasses! These were really expensive, y’know?” Double said. With the mention of his glasses, Sunset was somewhat able to connect the dots on what his ability was, she summoned Burning Bright to do something, but she seemed quite reluctant about it. “Here goes nothing…” Sunset said, “Crossfire Hurricane!” She held her arms in front of her and her Stand repeated the motion, creating a four-point star of pure fire and shooting it at Double, who was scared and jumped out of the way as quickly as he could. Sunset ended up missing and caused a small fire in the room behind Double, who was able to escape from them, making the girls give chase around the school once more. The four Stand-using students ended up together at the cafeteria, where Double got himself somewhat cornered again, Rainbow kept the doors closed behind them while Sunset and Blossom went ahead to fight Double. Double attempted to hide under a table, but Blossom was able to track him down with a vine from her hand, once finding him, she promptly pulled him out by the neck. “So you found me, eh? I suppose your Gutterflower isn’t as weak and useless as I thought, there are plenty of uses for it,” He admitted as a joke, “Maybe I could get you to rake the leaves back home for me, with your trashy ability,” He laughed at Blossom, who was very angry in contrast, she wanted to hit him in the face, but she did know what happened just minutes earlier, when she tried the same thing, so she did nothing and let Sunset take care of it, “I suppose that 335 level was a mistake,” Double said, adjusting his glasses, this was the last straw for them to be sure that his power had to do with the lenses. Blue Eyed Hex appeared behind Double, posing alongside him before going after the two girls, Sunset took the chance and clashed fists with Double’s Stand, but her hand didn’t get hurt, or if it did, she didn’t seem to care that much. “How about you stop trash talking and do something useful with your dumb power,” Sunset taunted, grabbing Blue Eyed Hex’ fist with Burning Bright and twisting it back, hurting Double’s wrist, “Oh wait, you’ve been doing plenty with it and your glasses all this time, haven’t you?” Double panicked and stumbled back slightly, “What the heck are you talking about? My ability has nothing to do with my glasses!” He tried to defend himself with just words, “You’re just saying that to have a reason to break them, you wouldn’t have the courage to hit a guy with glasses, would you?” He said, trying to seem confident but looking quite afraid, he knew the girls found out about his ability, he knew it since their fight earlier in the dead end corridor, but only now did he let it show that he was worried. “I knew it!” Blossom said, “Your Stand analyzes other people’s abilities and projects the stuff it learns to your lenses, where only you can see it all,” She explained, “Now, if only lenses weren’t transparent, eh?” She taunted Double, she tried the same vine trick as before, going around Double’s ankle to pull it back and trip him over, at which point either she or Sunset would beat him up and send him flying away, but, as if he knew about her plan, Double jumped up and out of Blossom’s trap. “I took your advice from earlier to heart and actually looked down, with Blue Eyed Hex,” Double said, “It doesn’t just analyze Stands, it can project any information it sees onto my glasses,” He told them, only then did either Sunset or Blossom notice that Blue Eyed Hex was looking down from Burning Bright’s hand twist move. Blossom tried to use her vine as a whip and successfully got Double off the air and onto the ground, but he got up and was properly cornered by Rainbow sneaking up behind him, his only escape was if he jumped onto the tables and rushed to the exit, but there was no way that the girls would let him do that, so he tried to fight on his own, but Rainbow pulled him back and to the ground before he could try anything funny. “Where did all that sass and confidence from earlier go, little boy?” Sunset said, stepping onto Double’s chest and looking at his scared face, “Blossom, would you like to do the honors?” She asked. Blossom stepped up and grabbed Double by the shirt collar. “Uhh…” Double thought of something to say, “You wouldn’t hit someone with glasses, would you?” He said, giggling to himself, but Gutterflower tossed his glasses against the wall, shattering the lenses, “Oh f-” Double couldn’t even finish his sentence before Gutterflower began to hit him over and over, shouting “ORA” with every extremely fast punch, finishing the beat down with one powerful strike, which sent Double flying into a wall, just barely missing a window. The girls felt victorious for a moment, but a janitor walked in and saw Double, beaten up and near a broken wall and the girls standing nearby him, “Would any of you three like to explain what happened to that kid or why the fire alarm went off or, better yet, why none of you are in class?” He asked very sternly, with his arms crossed. Later, at the principal’s office, Celestia was talking with the girls over their behavior. “I am quite disappointed in you three, this is not the first time any of you have caused trouble, but this time you’ve set fire to a supply room, broke the cafeteria wall, and the kid, Double Vision, is gonna end up in the hospital,” The principal said, “Sunset, I thought you had truly learned your lesson after the incident, Rainbow has a record of pointless fights she’s had for a while now and you, Ms. Blossom,” She called Loving out, “I know that you’re in a new school, you know basically nobody here, but if you want to cause a good impression on people and change how you are now, you can’t hit people into lockers and, pardon my language, beat them into a pulp like that,” Celestia finished. “We’re so sorry…” Sunset said. “I don’t want to seem harsh, but do you think that apologizing is gonna change what will happen because of this fight you had?” Celestia asked. “No…” Rainbow replied. “…” Celestia was quiet and then sighed, “Well, I don’t think there much else to say right about now, you can leave, but you three have to stay after class for the rest of the week in detention,” She gave the girls their punishment and they walked out of the office to meet Chrysalis, the last person they wanted near them after the talk they just had. “Looky here, little Blossom, so much for being all quiet and nice when you got in, you’ve punched me into a locker and now you smashed some other kid into mush, hahah!” She laughed to herself, as nobody else found it funny. “Shut up, will you?” Loving told Chrysalis off, still looking sad and guilty. “What if I don’t, kiddo? You can’t just hit me away again, what then?” Chrysalis reminded Blossom of her track record, “Are you gonna call a teacher, or your mommy?” She joked, but again, only she laughed, and Blossom began to cry from that insult, Sunset looked at Chrysalis with an angry stare. “Hey!” Someone called from further down the corridor, “Stop being so mean, Chryssy!” The person saying this was a girl dressed in a cream-colored sweater and a green skirt, with long pink boots, her hair was also pink and she had light-yellow skin. Chrysalis turned to face her and she quickly rushed back around the corner in fear. “Ugh, I’ll see you girls later, I have a different shy little brat to take care of,” Chrysalis said, angrily going after the pink-haired girl and leaving Sunset, Rainbow and Blossom to finally head to what classes they had left for the day.
