It was just another normal day, Celestia and Luna had finished their royal duties, and were enjoying dinner. After a few glasses of wine, the two were a little too drunk. They played different games with magic, when Luna suggested, "You know, it would be fun to be fillies again, wouldn't it? Why don't we try age reversal spells?"

Celestia hiccuped as she nodded saying, "I think that's a fun idea, on three?"

The two sisters counted to three and set off magic blasts at each other. There was a small explosion when the two magic blasts collided and the guards rushed into the room. When they saw two sleeping fillies in the room, one of them said, "Oh good lord... What are we supposed to do!? If the princesses are fillies, they can't perform their royal duties! The sun and moon won't raise and lower themselves!"

As another guard calmed his colleague down, he said, "We'll need to contact Princess Twilight Sparkle, we don't have a choice."

Meanwhile, Twilight was getting ready to go to bed for the night when Spike came into her bedroom and said, "Hey Twi, you got a letter from Canterlot."

Twilight sighed and said, "Can't it wait until morning?"

Spike rubbed the back of his neck and said, "I kind of read it already, and it's really important... Princess Celestia and Princess Luna... well... they sort of changed each other into fillies."

As Twilight had started to fall asleep, the news shook her awake, "Wh-What!?" she sighed and told Spike to write a reply saying she'd be there in the morning, since the trains to Canterlot had all departed by now.

The Next Morning...

As Twilight woke up, she noticed the moon was still in the sky, even though the sun should be there. She sighed to herself, "Seems this isn't just one of Princess Luna's pranks, she'd never refuse to lower the moon after last time." She left her castle to get to the train station, where she was met by her friends.

Fluttershy asked nervously, "We noticed the moon is still up, but it should be day time, right? D-Does this mean Nightmare Moon is back?"

Twilight shook her head and explained, "I got a letter from the royal guards yesterday, Celestia and Luna have... turned themselves into fillies, and I'm expected to take care of them, raise and lower the sun and moon, and find a way to get them back to normal. All in the life of a princess I suppose..."

Rarity giggled and said, "It seems those two still haven't realized wine and divine magic don't mix. Do you think you'll need help?"

Rainbow Dash rolled her eyes saying, "Man, I don't want to play babysitter. But I guess I could help."

After everypony agreed to help Twilight, they got on the train to Canterlot. When they arrived at Canterlot Castle after dodging panicking mobs of ponies fearing the return of Nightmare Moon, the guards bowed towards Twilight and explained what had happened. They led them to the nursery they'd set up and Twilight looked in at Celestia and Luna. "Well, first thing's first, I have to lower the moon and raise the sun." she walked out onto the balcony of Celestia's bedchambers and tried her hardest to concentrate, and with enough effort, she finally got the sun rising high in the sky.

Pinkie Pie walked into the room, followed by the rest of Twilight's friends and showed her a letter that was left in the nursery, labeled from, "The Writer" Pinkie read it out loud, "Sorry girls, but I don't have much of anything new relating to M rated stories, so you're stuck in this one. Also, your contracts were just renewed and laminated. I learned after last time to always laminate your contracts when Rainbow Dash ripped the last one up. But that's besides the point. Anyway, you'll have to do a few Q&A chapters, along with chaotic chapters during caring for Celestia and Luna. Good luck girls!"

Twilight's eye twitched as Pinkie read the letter and sighed when she finished, "Well, we don't have much other choice do we? Our contracts with The Hub mean we have to agree to these stupid fan fictions."

Fluttershy tried to get everypony to see the bright side by saying, "At least it's not an M rated one. We all hate those kinds, and I try not to dislike anyone's ideas, but we all do get tired of the explicit stories."

As the girls agreed on that much, Rainbow Dash asked, "So how do we start?"

Pinkie Pie quickly responded, "With an intro song!"

The girls sighed, but started the music while dancing to it.

Two princesses, day and night
Things don't look quite right

Too much wine
Alicorn magic's shine

Now the princesses are born again
Just like they were way back when

The girls have to help
Keep things together
Have some fun like no other

Two little fillies, six young mares
Sometimes life's not so fair

From being princess to a mom
This story's going to be a bomb!

As the song ended, Rainbow Dash moaned saying, "Man, I hate the fictions that give us a song like we're on a reality show."

Rarity nodded and said, "Technically this is about the same as a reality show, we have contracts, we get paid for the author's ideas, and we don't say a word about if we like it or not."

A voice said, "Uh, girls, we're still recording."

Twilight got the girls back on track saying, "Well, it's not going to be easy, but we've faced tougher challenges than taking care of two young foals."

Pinkie Pie nodded her head saying, "And I've actually taken care of two young foals, so I know what to do! First, we have to get them fed for their midmorning nap! Then we're going to need to pour flour over ourselves when they start crying!"

Applejack put a hoof on Pinkie's shoulder and told her, "I don't think Celestia and Luna will like the same things as Pound and Pumpkin Cake"
