Three months had gone by since the "Battle of the Bands" and the Rainbooms had not heard from the Dazzlings in a while. Fearing for the sirens safety, Sunset Shimmer and her friends started to look around for the trio, only to find out after a week's worth of searching, that Adagio and her two partners in crime were doing ok. The trio lived in an apartment complex, were they had stay way before 'Battle of the Bands." It turned out that Adagio, who was the leader, was prepared for such an event to happen. Adagio saved up tons of money in her safe for in case their gems broke and they needed to survive the hard way. On top of that, the clever siren made sure any and all 'issues' they caused would not come and bite them later.
When Sunset got word of this she did what the other Twilight told her and attempted to extend her had in friendship. Sadly, Adagio did not want none of that, but instead revenge on the Rainbooms for the humiliating defeat. Even though the siren was sour over what had happened months ago, the other two did not harvest such anger. In fact, the ditz of the group, Sonata Dusk became friends with the hyper Rainboom member, Pinkie Pie. To top it off, Pinkie even helped Sonata get a job at the ice cream parlor. This in turn made Adagio furious and tried to get Aria to follow her in her quest for vengeance. However, the purple siren did not care much for getting revenge and instead was taking care of dogs, that she found abandoned on the streets. It was only a matter of time till Aria crossed paths with the timid member of the Rainbooms, Fluttershy, and thus, the shy girl helped the siren get a job at the animal shelter that she worked at.
This made Adagio more angry then she already was, but it was soon to changed after a couple weeks. It was when Sunset's friendship 'crap' finally got to her and on top of that, she was happy seeing her two sisters enjoying their new life. So the hardened siren gave into the leader of the Rainbooms and thus started a friendship with them.

So autumn began and soon it was time for the day of thanks, a time for when everyone got together with their family and had a big feasts. However, the sirens did not really have a 'family' to go to and thus, Sunset asked if it was ok for them to have Thanksgiving at her home. Once they were given the 'ok,' Adagio made sure to study up on the traditions of the holiday and was going to bring a honey glazed, with a brown sugar coated ham to the even. The Dazzlings were going to have their first Thanksgiving with someone and she wanted everything to be perfect, so she made the other two sirens get ready for the dinner.
However, not every siren was getting ready for the big dinner. Aria Blaze was sitting in her red chair, wearing her usual attire, but with no pants on and she was eating BBQ chips, while playing her new game. The purple siren grabbed a handful of the chips and stuffed it all into her mouth, crunching on as she played her game. "What in the name of NEPTUNE are you doing Aria?" Demanded a very annoyed looking Adagio Dazzle, who was wearing a sparkly purple dress, with red earrings. The yellow siren walked into the living room, glaring at her younger sister with a disappointing look. "I asked you to get ready an hour ago and yet you are sitting here in your underwear, playing games like some kinda of teenager."
The purple siren just rolled her eyes as she swallow the soda. "*belch* geez Dagi, Sunset said we did not have to dress up like a tool for this day." Aria snark back.
"First off, you sour patch kid reject, I do not look like a tool" She replied back, posing like a Greek statue. "I look like the goddess Venus."
Aria just rolled her eyes at the statement. "Is that why you are getting dolled up for your little bacon head?"
Adagio face blushed. "Shut up...no, unlike you, I don't want to look like I'm from some 1980's punk band."
"Sure"
"Gah...anyway, where is the living speed bump?"
"I don't know, not my turn to babysit her."
Adagio pressed the bridge of her nose with her two fingers as she let out a sigh of annoyance. "Sonata, get in here if you're ready." She demanded.
After a few moments, Sonata Dusk skipped out of her room and down the hall, humming some kind of Thanksgiving holiday tune. As she did, both Adagio and Aria looked at her with a blank expression. "Sonata...you look stu..I mean, yourself. You look like what I thought you would." Aria remarked as she paused her game to see that her younger sister and the youngest of the trio, was wearing a female Pilgrim outfit, with turkey earrings.
"Sonata why in the name of Neptune are you dressed like a five year old in a school play?"
"Cause silly, it's Thanksgiving and Sunset said I could dress up remember?"
Aria and Adagio shared a face palm at the sheer foolishness of their sister. "She meant formal you mouth breathing blue berry, not to dress up like that..." Adagio said.
"But Dagiii...I really like this outfit and I look adorable in it." Sonata gleefully smiled as she spun around to show off her outfit.
"Maybe to virgins." Aria shot out.
Sonata stopped and glared at her sister. "Yeah, well...you attract ogres.." she stuck her tongue out at her 'clever' come back.
"First off, that was one time and he had one to many...so did I, but that is not the point."
"GIRLS!" Adagio yelled. "This is not time for arguing, just...Aria put pants on, and Sonata...fine you can wear that stupid outfit." She stated as she walked into the kitchen to see if her ham was done.
Sonata jumped in place as she clapped, yelling 'yay," as she was happy to wear her outfit. Aria just rolled her eyes and saved her game. She then got up and headed toward her room, were she searched in her laundry basket for a pair of pants that did not stink..that badly.
Meanwhile, the timer on the oven finally went ding and Adagio opened the oven's door, then pulled out the pot of ham and placed it on the stove. The yellow siren beamed with glee as she opened the lid and en-hailed the sweet smell of the meat. She stuck the thermometer into the ham and seen it was finally done. "My god, I did it, not Only am I beautiful, but I am a master chef."
"How do you know if it taste good, if you haven't ate any yet?" Asked Sonata.
Adagio just chuckled. "Oh Sonata, you see, when you have my beautiful body and brains, you just know things."
"Oooh...like the meaning of life?"
"Yes, and it's to worship me."
"Oh oh, how about if the new season of Witch Academia is coming out?"
Adagio just rolled her eyes as she sighed. "Sonata...your little anime is done, it was only meant for one season, what else can they really do with a second season?"
"Well..that meanie face who thinks magic is lame can d something?"
"Sonata..he is just the 'douche bag' character, nothing else."
"yeah but he could try and take magic away?"
"So you want a season of that guy, trying to outlaw magic, when it has been established that witches were hated, but now liked, only to go back to hate?"
"Um...yeah"
"Gah, there is no point, they live in an age were magic is just considered old stuff..which that is weird in itself, cause magic in any era would be useful.'
Right as Sonata was about to say something back, Aria came out in her usual pants, but with a mustard stain on her thigh. Adagio just gritted her teeth as she face palm. "Why..Aria, just why are you wearing pants with a stain on them?"
"Cause, I honestly don't care what the general public thinks of me. Also Sunset and our friends know I care less for looking prim and proper, so why are you making a huge deal about it?"
"Ok, you know what..fine, fine you do you, as we learned from Sunset's friendship lessons, I have to allow you two humanoid air bags to BE yourself. Even if YOURSELF is the embodiment of annoying."
"Hey that was the day you two k-ummf"Sonata was shut up with Adagio's hand covering her mouth.
"That was none of your business." The yellow siren stated. "Anyway, get in the car, we are going now."
The blue siren just giggled as Adagio grabbed the ham and walked out toward her car.

The three sirens walked towards the door of Sunset's home, with Aria holding the ham and Sonata humming to herself as she blissfully skipped. Before Adagio knocked on the door, she looked at each sister with a serious expression on her face. "Listen, I know asking you two, to NOT embarrass me, would be like asking a turkey to NOT look up into the sky with it's mouth gaping open when it rains. But be on your best behavior, meaning no being a picky eater Sonata." he siren glared at her little sister on the last statement.
"Aww, but...you always put greens on my plate." The blue siren whined with a frown.
"Yes, cause all you eat is junk, you need to eat healthy..or NO going to see the 'My Small Horses' movie when it comes out into theaters next month."
Sonata's face grew sadder as she pouted and crossed her arms. "Ok..I will eat the icky green stuff, but can it be a little bit pleeease?"
Adagio rolled her eyes. "Fine, but it better ALL be gone."
Sonata smiled in agreement and let out a gleeful "YAY."
Aria just rolled her eyes at the sheer childishness of her younger sister.
Adagio then knocked on the door and after a few seconds had past, it opened with Sunset Shimmer standing before them, with a smile on her face, as she saw her trio of friends had finally made it. "I'm glad you guys came. Come in, dinner is almost ready."
Sonata soon tackled her friend with a spine braking hug, that rivaled that of Pinkie Pies'. "Hey SHIMMIE, HAPPY THANKSGIVING!" The hyped up siren expressed with cheer in her voice.
"Gak..Ha..appy..Tha..ANKSGIVING..CAN'T BREATH.." Sunset let out in agony as her face was turning another shade darker.
The siren soon let go and allowed Sunset to gasp for air. Once Shimmer gained her breath and color back, she chuckled. "Heh.. I missed you all to." Shimmer commented as she moved back, to allow them in.
"Sup..we made ham." Aria spoke as she walked past Sunset and into the living room with her other two sisters.
Adagio fake coughed as she looked at Sunset. "What the little grape brain meant, was I made the ham, while she did nothing, but take up space for the dust."
"Yeah, but I am the one who advised you to make ham." Aria grunted as she gave Adagio a dirty look.
"Its, fine" Sunset said as she closed the door. "Welcome to my home, or rather my mother's home." She said with a smile on her face.
Suddenly as Sunset said that, Cherry Jubilee came into the living room, to see who was at the door. As she saw the trio, a smile came onto her face. "Why, is that my sweet Sunset's new friends." She knowingly asked. "Welcome to my home girls, make yer selves comfy. " Cherry finished, giving each girl a tight hug.
"Hello Ms. Jubilee and thank you for allowing me and my sisters to dine here with you and your wonderful family." Adagio said as she hugged Cherry.
Cherry Jubilee returned the hug as she smiled and looked at the yellow siren. "It's no big deal sweetie, my darling Sunset told me you three had no place to go to for the holiday, and i refused to allow such good girls to eat alone on this very special day." She said as she looked at Aria holding the pot. "Oh, here sweetie, let me get that for you." Jubilee then grabbed the ham. "You girls can go have fun, while I take this into the kitchen."
"Thank you, Ms. Cherry" Adagio commented, as Jubilee went into the kitchen.
"Well, how about I show you the rest of my family?" Sunset asked.
"I'd love to." Adagio replied
"Eh..can I just sit down over their and listen to my music?" Aria asked with no enthusiasm in her voice.
Adagio then shot her a glare, but Sunset just smiled. "Sure Aria, I know you and Fluttershy don't really feel comfortable meeting new people."
"Thanks." Aria responded, as she pulled out her earbuds and walked over to an empty chair.
"Um.. Shimmie, I gots a question." Sonata commented.
"Yes?"
"How are you and Ms. Cherry kin? I thought you came here from Equestria?" She asked with a confused look.
"Oh simple, when I first came here, it was winter and I was freezing. So one day, after wondering the streets, Cherry saw me and one thing led to another, which she soon took me in as her child." Sunset replied with a smile. "Oh, by the way, no talk about that stuff."
"What stuff?" Asked Sonata confused again with a blank stare.
"The whole Equestria stuff and the parts were I became a succubus and you three sirens tried to take over the school so a magic giant unicorn was summoned to nuke you guys. Also, Gaia going bio terrorist on us and Sci Twilight becoming some evil harpy chick thingy. As far as Cherry knows... I am just a normal girl with normal friends and doing normal teen girl stuff."
"Ooooh ok, got ya, no talk about magic stuff, my lips are sealed." Sonata stated with a smile as she nodded. "I can keep secrets, like Aria always has to sleep with her stuffed Share Bear, Angry Bear at night."
Adagio face palmed at the stupidity of her sister. "Gah...just don't speak to any adults you goldfish brained guppy."
"Wait..how can I be a goldfish, and a guppy at the same time...unless they fused?" Sonata replied with a confused look on her face again.
Sunset just chuckled at the two girls. "Well anyway, let me show you the rest of my family." She started pointing at each member in the living room. "That is uncle Cherry Blossom, Aunt Cherry Pie, Cousin Yellow Cherry, Grandma Cherry Stone..." Shimmer kept pointing and calling out her family members, as Sonata was fixed on Grandma Cherry Stone's beautiful sweater that she was knitting. The old lady was knitting a green and red checkered patterned sweater, with a cute reindeer face that had googly eyes and a bright red nose.
"Oh my gosh...that sweater is so cuuute!"
Sunset stopped as she heard what Sonata had said and Adagio looked to see what her sister was talking about. Adagio looked at the sweater and saw the ugly Christmas cloth that almost made her gag. "Seriously, that is cute..Sonata those are called ugly sweaters for a reason."
"Yeah, my granny enters the ugly sweater contest every Christmas." Sunset stated with a crooked smile.
Sonata looked at both girls with a shocked expression. "I beg your pardon? But that sweater is gorgeous, I dare say they could rival Rarity's fashion!" She said with confidence.
Adagio and Sunset both raised an eyebrow at what the blue siren was saying.
"You think I could ask your granny for one for Christmas Shimmie?"
"Ah..yeah she doesn't mind making them and its kinda her talent." Sunset said in a confused tone.
"Yay." Sonata gleefully said as she made her way towards Cherry Stone, while the otehr two girls went on to see the rest of the family.
"That sweater is like, totally the best sweater I have seen ever." Sonata expressed as she had a huge smile on her face.
Cherry Stone looked up to see the weirdly dressed siren girl standing in front of her with a smile on her face, She then grinned herself as she admired Sonata's choices in fashion. "why thank ye kindly, hey aren't you Sunset's little friend?"
"Yes, ma'am, I'm Sonata Dusk, her bestest friend ever hehe."
"Really...I thought the rainbow carpet eater girl was..." Cherry Stone said in confusion.
Sunset looked shocked. "Huh? Rainbow Carpet Eater? What a strange name, but I am Shimmie's best friend though."
"That's nice deary and it's a pleasure meeting you. " The old woman said with a smile. "Tell me, did Sunset ever tel you that I met Rock Doodle?"
Sonata's eyes widen as she gasped. "No, you men the King of rock and roll?"
"Yep, wish to hear the story?"
"Sure!" Sonata said with glee.
Cherry Stone put up her hands as to make some kind of frame. "Picture it, 1960's, a peasant girl came over here from the old country..."

Meanwhile in the kitchen, Sunset had finished introducing Adagio to the rest of her kin.
"You have a nice little family Sunset." Adagio commented with a grin.
"Thanks, but...there's one more." Sunset replied with a worried look on her face.
"Oh?"
Yeah..see.. you know how Fluttershy has an embarrassing relative?"
"Oh, you mean Zipper Breeze." Adagio replied with a look of concern.
"Ziepher, and yes." She corrected before carrying on, "See.. I have a cousin, named Cherry Pick and-"
Before Sunset could finish her sentence, out came a very annoying voice that made her cringe." SUNSET!!, Long time no see cuz" Said a guy with a pink man bun, bright yellow skin and a green shirt that read 'TOFU LIFE!'
The guy came up to Sunset and hugged her tightly, while she returned the gesture, she still had that look of 'oh god' on her face. "Adagio..this is Cherry Pick..hehe, my cousin." Sunset uttered towards the yellow siren. Cherry Pick soon let go of his cousin to look at Adagio. He grinned a toothy smile a her looked her up.
"Why hello, Ms. Adagio, it is a pleasure meeting you."
The yellow siren smiled as he made that statement. She then did a beautiful pose like that of the Venus statue. "I know it is, all men enjoy seeing my glory." She boosted.
"I can see why." Cherry Pick stated. "Hey, if you're not seeing anyone, I can make a tofu meatloaf that is the best around."
Adagio stopped posing and looked rather ill. "Tofu?" She asked disgusted. "You mean, you wish to feed me, a beautiful divine goddess, fake food?"
Sunset was about to say something as she was getting uncomfortable, but was dismissed by Cherry Pick. "Disgusting? You sound like you never had the heavenly delight of tofu, it is healthy and way better than meat itself."
Adagio chuckled. "Sorry, but we need meat and on top of that, you veggie lovers need to take pills in order to get the necessary vitamins your body NEEDS."
Cherry Pick gave her a shocked looked. "Listen, we vegans, care about animals and people need to stop eating them. All pigs and cows want is to live."
"Um..everyone does, but nature has this game called survival of the fittest and it is a means to make sure we don't over populate." Adagio smirked. "Also, some of us need meat more than others."
Before Cherry Pick could say anything, Sunset stopped him with a nervous smile. "Listen, Pick, maybe we don't talk about this..again, remember last year?"
He soon let out a annoyed sigh as he closed his eyes. "Fine,but I will continue to fight for those animal's rights from evil men's world." He stated before walking off into the living room."
Adagio looked at Sunset and began to fill bad about what she had said to her cousin. "I'm sorry sweetie, I didn't mean to get into an argument."
"It's fine, you're ok anyway. It's just.. he is very passionate in 'saving ' he little animals. More than Fluttershy." Sunset commented. She then looked up at Adagio with a confused expression. "By the way, what did you mean 'some of us' need to eat meat?"
Adagio chuckled as she flipped her hair back. "Sweetie, we sirens or top predators and need meat."
Sunset's eyes widened. "Oh ok then, I almost forgot your kind does that." She chuckled.
Adagio nodded with a smirk on her face. "Yes, just like how you drool over fresh cut grass."
Shimmer blushed at the statement. "Well.. that's when grass is at it's best in terms of taste."

Meanwhile, Cherry Pick walked into the living room and passed Sonata talking with Cherry Stone. The blue siren looked on with amazement s Cherry talked about her family's history. "Oh my gosh, that is so cool how you grandpa invented Peanut Butter and your Granny inventing Jelly." The siren expressed.
"Yep, my daddy also learned how to split an atom, by accidentally living some out in a dish over night one day." Sunset's grandma said as she finished making the sweater. "There, all done."
Sonata smiled at the finished cloth. "It looks beautiful Ms. Stone."
"Thanks, dearie." She replied as she looked at the siren. She soon let out a smile as she could not help herself, but love this girl and her total blissful nature. "Wanna here another story?"
Sonata gasped with glee. "Sure"

Aria was just minding her own business and listening to Metal Maid's latest new album. As she was, a tap was felt on her shoulder. She sighed as she thought some old geezer thought her music was to loud, only to open her eyes and see the ugliest guy she had ever seen. She raised her eyebrow as she pulled out the earbuds. "Yes?" She asked annoyed.
"You must be friends with Sunset yes?"
"Ah..yeah, why?"
"Oh, hello, my name is Cherry Pick and I just got done talking with her and...I assume your other friend?"
"You mean the girl with 90% hair on her back side, that is Adagio, my sister."
"Oh how nice, she is your sister. So tell me, could I interest you in my home made veggie loaf?" He asked with a grin.
Aria just stared at him for a few seconds before responding. "I guess your still single and by the looks of pick up lines like that, I bet a virgin as well?"
Cherry Pick was shocked at the response and was going to respond, but Aria went on. "Also, of all the things I want to put in my mouth, vegan ain't one of them, now please go."
Cherry Pick was dumbfounded and could not find the right response. "Ok..ok, I guess you wanna eat baby chickens, fine, I'll leave you be."
"Thank you, and I love baby cows to." The sly siren licked her lips with a huge smirk.

After a few seconds, the beeper went off and it was then time for dinner. Cherry Jubilee, as well as the elders all helped set up the counters for all the dishes. As soon as it was done, Jubilee called out for everyone to come and eat, with the kids eating first and then the teens, and lastly adults.
Adagio made sure to put a big spoonful of green beans on Sonata's plate and gave her a stern look to eat it or else. To which, the blue siren frowned and nodded her head. However, it really did not matter much, cause Sonata sat with Cherry Stone on the couch, with a pull out table to eat on and listened to her story on how her many generation grandad came up with the idea on Thanksgiving.
While Aria sat at the table next to Cherry Pick and happily bit down on a turkey leg, before ripping off the bone with her teeth. This made Pick feel sick and get from the table, with his slice of veggie loaf, to go outside and eat. The Purple siren had no remorse for her action and continued eating her bounty of meat and stuffing.
Lastly, was Sunset and Adagio sat together to eat. As they fed, Adagio playfully placed her foot on Sunsets', which made her blush. Shimmer thus turned to her love and smile. "So, how are you liking it?"
Adagio smiled back as she looked at her two sisters and back to Sunset. "I love it, thank you Bacon Head, I could not have asked for a better place to spend my Thanksgiving."
