//------------------------------// // Chapter 4 // Story: Lily Field // by Creativa-Artly01 //------------------------------// A week later, Pinkie and Mr. and Mrs. Field all visit Lily's graveside and put down flowers there and Pinkie also puts down the teddy bear and princess plush that Lily had won at the carnival down at her tombstone. The three's eyes then filled with tears of sadness, grief, pain, and sorrow. "She was taken too early," sighs Mrs. Field. "Indeed," replies her husband as he puts his hoof over her shoulder. "I didn't know her long," sniffles a crying Pinkie Pie, "but she was the sweetest filly I ever met." She then puts a red lily down by the filly's grave. "She always had the most upbeat attitude despite her cancer." "So true," sighs Mrs. Field in response to Pinkie. "So true." She then turns to face the pink pony with the drooping mane. "Do you really think my daughter was the sweetest pony you ever met?" "Yes, with all my heart," says Pinkie as she turns to face Mrs. Field. "She had a strong heart despite her misfortunes and a strong sense of fun despite her disease." "Awe, that's so sweet," replies Mrs. Field, her eyes now filling with tears of joy. Mrs. Field, Mr. Field, and Pinkie then leave the cemetery and go off back to their house together for lunch. As they eat, they all recount the fun and joyous times they all shared with Lily. If they can't see her in person anymore, at least, they can see her in their memories and experiences they shared.
