Day one
EarthCloud sniffed the cool morning air of Panora. Home is very important in very ponies life. Helping her father restore the once beautiful and hostile planet back o normal. It was the time of winter in this work it is the opposite of seasons, winter is summer, summer is winter.
''Hows it's coming, I mean being the new key keeper of the universe and all.'' her father asked moving a metal container of glora fish.
''Pretty easy, no threats, no pony to save, hows it coming with being the new ruler of a city.''
''Hard. How did your mom read all these rules in one day?'' he said Earth Clouds mom was to become the next ruler, now that the rules have changed her dad was allowed to take her place as king.
''Dad I wasn't here when mom left to save the world.'' Earth Cloud letting a couple sun lilies drift into her mother's favorite lake.
''Can I release them, dad.'' Earth cloud volunteered, she opens the latch to the metal containers, all the fish once used for entertainment by her evil grandmother swam happily in their old home.
''Mom would be so happy to see them back where they belong.'' Continuing her work small gust of wind began blowing across the barren desert of Panora with her key of peace the planet was also at peace tree grew new leaves, the native birds migrated back from nearby planets since it was safe to return home. Horns blared from the city of Euphoria summoning her father back to the encased walled city.
''What do they want now,'' he said trotting off to the city's gates EarthCloud was now left alone with the glora fish. The loneliness didn't help, she liked having her dad around as much as she loved having Night Star with her but he himself was visiting his mom in Jardoria, Panoras cousin planet twice the size of this one, let alone Earth Cloud wanted to feel her mother touch again the soft songs she sang to the glora fish at night makes her want to repeat them. The small gust of wind seemed to be getting stronger blowing orange sand from the far-off desert. Thinking of a sandstorm she flew above the regrowing forest to the highest point she could fly, with winds too fast for a Pegasus, she noticed a small hole in the sky.
''A portal?'' she thought. These things as dad would say dimensional rifts, small gaps in the dimensional plain that can open at random spots pulling and releasing objects from different planets. In this case, apple trees flew out barrels, a cake? These things she knew and saw back in Equestria.
''A portal open upped from Equestria, there is bound to be some pony being sucked up and dropped here,'' she said. Jinxing herself she caught sight of something tiny, white and light blue screaming and swirling to her she reached with two hooves cupping the small living thing, while the portal closed. In her hooves, the small creature with wings clutched tightly around her hoof not letting go.
''Its okay, your safe now,'' she said. The creature shrieked hugging EarthClouds chest like glue. ''You so remind me of myself when I was little.'' bringing the tiny pony or so she thought was a tiny pony with her to the city of Euphoria the highest tower was her room.
''You wanna let go now?'' she asked The tiny pony floated onto her bed feeling the blankets with its small hooves. ''Like my bed, it was my moms,'' she said with an amused smile.
(Where am I?) the tiny pony asked laying on a pillow EarthClouds mom hoofed stitched herself.
''You came from Equestria, you are on my homeworld, this is Panora.'' Earth Cloud said waving a hoof around the room.
(Panora? This isn't on the map.)
''No my tiny friend, Your on another planet, look out the window,'' she said the tiny pony floated its way to the window casting short gasp at the scenery.
(Is this......a city.)
''That's the city of Euphoria, my little pony.''
(Please my name is Crystal Breeze, call me Cryst thank you for saving me miss four-legged Pegasus,)
''My names EarthCloud, Cryst how did you get here?''
(I was looking crystals, I have this crystal finding ability to find them, then my antennas started glowing, the sky open up and suddenly I'm flying through this big tunnel, then you caught me.)
''Dimensional rift Cryst, your ability must be why your here,'' she said Cryst flew to the bookshelf looking for a book that could help him.
''If you are looking for crystals I know where to find them.'' Earth Cloud offered coming up to pick a blue book off the shelf.
''Look through these and see which one your ability is seeking,'' she said Cryst flipped through all the pages of the book his antennas glowed to the last page.
(That one) he said gleefully pointing his hoof at the blue and green crystal.
''The ancient crystal of Panora, but that's never been found,'' she said.
(I haft to get the crystal EarthCloud, I can't go back home empty hoof.) he said how could she say no, her dad told her to do whats right giving in to his light green eyes.
''The crystal is located in a canyon you sure you want to go get this ancient crystal? it's not safe for a little pony like you to be in."
(I'm a breezie, a fairy.)
''What's a fairy?''
(Big butterfly wings, bright colors, ring a bell to you?)
''I never believed in them.''
(You never believed in fairies! That's like you don't believe in the Easter bunny.)
''I wish I did.''
(You do now,) Crsyt said tugging EarthClouds mane.
''Cryst where are you taking me?''
(The crystal. You're helping me won't you, I mean if you don't want too, I can go by myself.)
''No! Your too small to do this alone.''
(Great.) he said landing on Earth Clouds head. (Onward)
''Crsyt I'm not something you ride on.''
(It was fun saying it though.)
(Is this the right canyon?) Cryst said shaking nervously on the top EarthClouds head.
''Yep the canyon of no return the crystal is down there somewhere, ready for a mission.
(Mission I asked for help, not a big scary canyon.)
''My duty as the key keeper of peace is to help all creatures...including tiny afraid breezies such as your self.''' she retorted Cyst quivered bearing himself deeper into the green Pegasus mane.
''Cryst my hair is not a hiding spot, I'm right here to help you, and I can't find crystals, only you can find it,'' she said encouraging the small breezie out her mane Cryst landed in Earth Clouds extra set of hooves.
(And you can protect me.)
''I'm not as strong as my twin brother. Let's do this.''
(High ho silver!)
''Cryst again stop with the puns.''
(The key keeper of peace? Are you some sort of gatekeeper, guardian, do you guard gates?) Cryst asked Earth Cloud suggested they walk flying would be too risky of being whisked away by the wind.
''Both, I'm a guardian of a whole universe I and my friends have keys like mine.''
(Can I see it.) the brezzie said standing on two legs up to her muzzle.
''The key is used for emergencies only, my you act like a five-year-old.''
(I know, that's a nice crystal necklace you got there.)
''I'm glad you noticed, my husband gave this to me as a wedding gift,'' she said, Cryst giggled jingling the crystal looped necklace.
(You're married. Is he cool, do you have any kids.)
(Yes Cryst I have a daughter, I'm thinking about having a son next.'' Earth Cloud answered.
The canyon split up into two trails one with a vast river, the other with deadly black dead trees.
''Which one do we take?'' she asked.
(Dead tree?)
''The dangerous path, I was hoping we take the nicer less dangerous path,'' she said, Cryst antennas glowed again blinking right of the path.
(Daring Do would go through the dangerous path, I read it in her books.)
''Daring Do who's she?''
(Daring Do is the most adventuress pony in all of Equestria, she finds lost relics and fights bag guys.) While he explained what Daring Do was earth Cloud felt a sense of danger. Lumbering behind them was a giant purple odd looking monster with four eyes, giant claws, a long tail, and big ears.
''Would miss Do mind fighting off that big monster getting ready to chase us!''
(Big WHAA!) Earth Cloud shushed the small fairy, the monster moved its four eyes good thing it was too slow Earth Cloud held on tightly to Cryst galloping onto the path of the dead tree its branches scratched her green fur tearing a feather off her wing.
(WHAT WAS THAT!)
''The reason that no pony ever made it out this canyon alive now be quiet,'' she said, praying they were far enough she swore heard its giant footsteps trampling its way to them. The dangerous thorn infested path came to a dead end. Earth Cloud felt her heart racing the feeling of being trapped.
''Cryst which tunnel has the crystal in it,'' she said. The breezies antennas glowed once more shifting first tunnel on the far left.
(That one.)
(Ah its dark.)
''Hold on I got this.'' Earth Cloud said green fur and glowed in the caves darkness, Cyst watched her transform from a glowing Pegasus into a giant glowing firefly.
(Pretty you look like a giant fairy.)
''Am I, no pony called me a fairy, let's go find your crystal before that monster tries to get in,'' she said no longer afraid of the dark the little breezie went back to playing around with Earth Clouds necklace. Endless tunnels were everywhere earth Cloud wasn't sure they were even gonna find the hidden crystal each direction leads to another Cryst fell asleep on Earth Clouds hooves but the antennas on his head pointed in different directions. '' she asked Cryst awoke sneezing to the dust filled tunnel.
(My abilities are never wrong, this is the right room.)
He said the was embedded with symbols. One in particular was in the shape of a key.
''My key symbol?'' she said the symbol glowed a gentle green as she approached the ten foot doors slowly.
(I think the door wants you to use your key.)
''My big emergency is to open another door?''
(Can you show me the key now EarthCloud please.) the breezie begged.
''Beats getting trapped here.'' summing The Key Of peace Cryst flew above to see Earth Cloud pull the bright colored key out her chest light shimmered in the tunnels of the cave.
(Wow, that key is bigger than me. Now let's open the door and get that crystal.)turning the key the old door smoke causing rocks to fall from the ceiling with a hoof covering CrystalBreeze from falling pebbles. The crystal of Panora lay rested on a rock the floor wet with water, Earth Cloud made her way to the gem when the water stung her hoof.
''Acid water, classic trap to keep a hidden treasure safe, I can fly across,'' she said, making mistake a rock smashed in the acid even the slightest flap of wings any pony flying will mean infinite death.
(Another trap, I know, Daring Do would find something big and heavy long enough for us to get the crystal and make it out alive.)
''Oh no Cryst, you're a breezie you are small enough to go get it without causing the cave to collapse.''
(Me? But its so far can't you carry me there.) he said EarthCloud tried not to give in to his large blue eyes.
''This is your mission Cryst I'll be right here to save you.'' she cooed. Cryst hugged Earth Clouds muzzle faltering a little to stay above the acid, Earth Cloud took his advice about, raising a back hoof at the largest rock next to her ready to buck it over if Cryst failed to reach the crystal in time. ''You're doing great Cryst.''
(It smells over here.) he said. Crystal Breeze got hold of the crystal lightly taking off the rock the weight dragged him a little Earth Cloud still had her hoof on the boulder behind her ready to save her little friend. (I can't breathe.) Cryst said ascending to the acidic water Earth Cloud kicked the boulder over creating a bridge acid burned the rock slowly her motherly instincts kicked in, snatching the poor thing in the air as if he was a newborn foal.

Exiting the long cave Cryst gazed at his new treasure watching the light dance off the surface of the crystal. (Best treasure ever.)
''And you can keep it, my gift to you,'' she said Earth cloud found a tunnel leading around the one they came from, roars and growls echoed throughout the canyon the monster was seen caught in the thorns digging in the tunneled wall.
(It must think we're still in their.)
''Let it keep thinking were in their Cryst, Let it keep thinking.''
