Adagio's POV
Dear diary,
I had a great date with Winter. We went and saw a funny romantic comedy. I wonder if that's how me and Winter look to everyone else. We live together and it's clear that he loves me. But I don't feel I can love him back. What if I do and the visions I saw happen. I.. I can't lose him I love him to much. Sonata would be so excited and tell me to go for it. And Aria..well Aria would have locked me in a room with Winter til I told him how I felt.
"Why am I writing this...What am I going to do?"There's only two options,tell him and accept what's gonna happen or not tell him and give up on being happy.
I was in love,I knew I was,and for sirens we may mess around a lot but there's only one love in our lives.For me it was him and the way I was,was either accept it or give up once and for all.
I have no choice I need to tell him. I don't deserve him but maybe he loves me too. Is it wrong to hope that he does?
"Dagi you home?" I hear as Winter gets home.
"Ye-yeah I'm in here." I call back.
He walks in the room.
"I have something I need to tell you."
"What is is he?" asked me.
"I...I love you. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I know I'm a mess and you deserve better then me. But can you at least think about it?"
"Actually..."He comes and puts an necklace around my neck."I love you too,and got this gift for you."
I look at the necklace in a heart shape.
"Open it."He says embarassed.
I open it. Inside is an old picture of Aria, Sonata, and me. I can't believe how different I looked back then. Those glasses, I'm so glad I have contacts now. Aria never was one to like have her picture taken so she had a scowl on her face. But Sonata was as happy as ever.
"Winter I love it, thank you."
"You're welcome."We hug.
And then I realize he saw the photos in the old photo album.
"You didn't look through the album did you?"
"Maybe."He nervously laughed.
I laughed:
"If you tell anyone about the photos in this album you're dead."
"I won't,I won't."He laughed. "But I think it's sweet you have them. And you should see how I looked when I was younger."
"Oh? Is it really that bad?"
"Yeah, you should really see what Sunset was like. Think Twilight but even more nerdy."
"Oh you have to show me that." We looked through the old pictures he had.
We came across one photo of him smiling his hand hugging a little girl that reminded me a little of Sonata,Flower I assume,Sunset by their side smirking like I never seen her smirk.
I catched a glimpse of him melanchoclly smiling.
"Flower?" I ask him.
"Yeah that's Flower, and as you have probably figured out that's Sunset."
"I've never seen her like that."
"She's changed a lot over the years. She used to be really bad. But also happier than she is now."
"What do you mean?"
"She blames herself for not being able to save Flower. That's why she wants to be a doctor."He sighs."She'd never admit it tho.But you know Dagi..."
He looked deep in my eyes and put his hands in mine.
"We've gone on,we know that's what Flower would want for us,even if in the beginning it was hard.And don't worry I'll help you move on what happened with your sisters,it'll be hard,but I'll be by your side."Then he suprised me by kissing me."I promise."
"Thank you and I know you're right. And I know it's going to be hard, but I'll do it. As long as you stay with me."
"I'll never leave you."
I give him a kiss then I get up and I close and lock the door to the bedroom.
"Why did you..." He starts.
"Now I'm going to show you how a siren treats the one they love."
