At the gate behind the Rich Cultural Center in Lego City, a large white truck rolled up to the guard shack and came to a stop.

The security guard inside the shack leaned out of the window, gave a hard look towards the driver’s window on the truck, and firmly requested, “State your business.”

The window rolled down and Timber Spruce stuck his head out, but rather than the false glasses and mustache he was supposed to have, he instead wore a red tribal island mask as he spoke in a deeper voice, “Ook, ah, ook, ah!”

The security guard broke his stoic expression and couldn’t resist laughing. Behind the cameras, the cast and crew on the scene also laughed at Timber’s act of humor.

Timber laughed along with everyone as he removed the mask and said, “Sorry, I couldn’t resist!” After a little more laughter, he continued to smile as he pointed the mask at one of the cameras and said, “I’ll use the real disguise for the next take, I promise.”

At the hemlock outpost in the Dark Forest, Rainbow Dash and Applejack were in the middle of their sparring match. As their swords and shields kept clashing, Applejack began to get the upper hand and Rainbow Dash was forced to take a few steps backwards.

However, as Rainbow Dash walked backwards, she suddenly stumbled and fell over onto her back. Having dropped her sword and shield when she fell, she held up her hands as she sat up and assured everyone, “I’m alright! I’m okay! Just tripped over myself.”

The crew behind the cameras began to laugh, and even Applejack and Rainbow Dash couldn’t help but chuckle as well.

In a later scene in the Dark Forest, the LEGO Team members were on one side of a bridge while Trixie and her army were on the other side.

Spike was carrying a spear as he ran onto the bridge and stopped right in the middle of the span. He then raised the spear high over his head and hollered at the top of his lungs, “YOU SHALL NOT PASS!!!” He then slammed the end of the spear down onto the bridge right in front of his feet.

For a few seconds, everyone stared at Spike as he stood perfectly still on the bridge. As more seconds passed by, Spike began to relax his stance as he looked around in confusion. He gaze soon focused on a particular part of the bridge just a few steps behind where he stood.

“Whoops. Hit the wrong brick,” stated Spike as he walked over to the point of interest. He stopped in front of one particular brick that was a darker shade of grey than most of the other Lego bricks that made up the bridge. “This is the brick that’s supposed to trigger the bridge collapse,” he pointed out as he tapped the end of his spear on that brick.

As some of the cast and crew began to laugh, Spike smiled as he added, “Whoever built this prop bridge did a good job of hiding the trigger, but maybe a little too well considering I just completely missed it.”

Spike’s quip caused everyone on the scene to laugh.

At the Wonderbolts Lunar Headquarters, the LEGO Team of Canterlot City and fellow team members Gloriosa and Timber were gathered in a lounge as Luna Playwell arrived after finishing the last of their interviews.

“Thank you very much for your cooperation, everyone,” stated Luna. However, as she continued, she noticeably slowed down at certain parts, as if struggling to remember what she needed to say. “I shall… assign some researchers to look into the… data and information I have collected, and will inform you of any… interesting discoveries we make.” There was little bit more for her to say, but she decided to stop there as she could see from everyone’s expressions that her attempt was far from ideal.

Behind the camera, the director said, “Well, at least you got all the words correct. Just pick up that pacing a bit more and we should be good on this scene.”

“Not to worry,” assured Luna. “I’m confident I’ll get it right for the next take. After all, I am a fropessional.” She then immediately realized that she completely flubbed saying “professional” and facepalmed in frustration.

That reaction caused all of the cast and crew to burst out laughing.

In the Dark Forest, as Rob N. Hood made his sudden introduction, Spike yelped and leaped into Fluttershy’s arms.

However, Fluttershy wobbled and lost her balance, falling over backwards with Spike landing on top of her.

As Spike got up off of her, Fluttershy spoke up, “Sorry, everyone. I guess I still need some practice for that move.”

In Lego City while it was under attack by the corrupted Gloriosa Daisy, Twilight had just freed Timber Spruce from a bramble cocoon. Timber gestured at the plasma blade in Twilight’s hand and remarked, “That’s pretty cool.”

Twilight giggled and smugly responded, “You like my new toy?”

Timber suddenly snickered at that line. When Twilight stopped and gave him a questioning look, he said, “Sorry, it’s just… the wording of that line doesn’t seem right.”

“What do you mean?” asked Twilight as she raised an eyebrow in confusion.

Timber awkwardly responded, “Well, you see… considering the shape and size of that object, and with you calling it your new toy… let’s just say some guys are gonna interpret some innuendo out of that.”

Twilight glanced down at her plasma blade handle, then looked up at Timber again and muttered, “I don’t get it.”

Timber ignored her as he turned to the director behind the camera and asked, “Can we try to reword that line? I’d like to avoid giving the audience any dirty ideas.”

As Timber walked away towards the director, Twilight followed him and said in exasperation, “No, seriously, I really don’t get it!”

At the conference room in the Crystal Castle, President Business was among the people seated at the conference table. After Filthy Rich tried to defend his efforts, President Business argued, “What is ridiculous is that you were persistent enough to offer them that much, and they still refused the offer! That to me is a big red flag that says, ‘Not for sale! Go away and never bug us again, or we’ll sue your pants off!’”

President Business took a sip from his mug off coffee, but then suddenly started chocking on it. Thomas Playwell seated beside him got up and took a step toward him, but he held up his hand and wheezed, “Don’t worry, I’m fine.”

After a few more violent coughs, President Business relaxed and assured everyone, “It’s okay, everyone. I’m alright.” He then looked down at the coffee he had spilled all over the table, then sighed and grumbled, “Though I am frustrated at wasting so much perfectly good coffee.” He held up his mug and added, “And this is the outrageously overpriced kind, too!”

At the gala at the Rich Cultural Center, Rarity had managed to meet Chase McCain and the two of them were having a pleasant conversation.

Suddenly, a guy with orange hair and wearing a black police uniform walked onto the scene with a huge smile on his face. “Hey there, Chase! How’s it going?” he greeted cheerfully.

“Oh! Hey, Frank,” greeted Chase politely. “I just happened to meet Rarity here. She’s one of the girls from that LEGO Team out of Canterlot City. You know, those girls who always save the world from magical monsters?”

Rarity giggled and remarked, “Oh, Chase, you flatterer…”

The cheerful police officer, Frank Honey, rushed over to stand very close to Rarity and excitedly greeted, “It is a real honor to meet you! Okay, so maybe you’re not my favorite member of the team, but still, you girls are awesome!”

Rarity recoiled from Frank’s close proximity, then turned to the camera and asked, “Must we go through with this? He seems like an unnecessary extra.”

“I’m gonna have to concur,” said Chase as he gently pulled Frank away from Rarity. “No offence, Frank, but I only signed up for a cameo in this film. Something tells me a guy like you probably won’t make the cut.”

Frank lowered his head in disappointment and moaned, “Aww, but I was so looking forward to this!” He instantly perked up again as he added, “I even wrote a song to go with it!” Frank inhaled, but before he could get a note out, Rarity suddenly slapped her hand over his mouth.

“For the love of Ole, please don’t,” scolded Rarity.

At the LEGO Team Headquarters building in Lego City, Sunset, Twilight, and Spike were trying to use the Jump-Gate to get into the city. Sunset had just used her laser blaster to clear away all of the brambles that blocked the gateway, but those brambles had quickly grown back to once again block the gateway.

“Oh come on!” shouted Sunset furiously as she threw the laser blaster down onto the floor.

However, when that laser blaster bounced off the floor, of all the directions it could have gone, it ended up striking Spike right in the groin. Spike immediately grunted in pain as he grasped his groin and collapsed to the floor, then continued groaning in pain.

Everyone in the room winced at Spike’s rotten luck. Sunset visibly cringed, then after a few seconds of staring at him in shock, she barely managed to say, “Sorry…”

In the Dark Forest at night, Sunset and Twilight were trapped in a cage after being captured by trolls from Trixie’s army. Sunset was picking the lock on the cage and had asked Twilight to provide a diversion by any possible means.

“Speaking of knights,” spoke Twilight to the trolls paying attention, “have you ever heard of a certain knight who wears armor as dark as the night?” She suddenly stopped and mumbled to herself, “Oh, wait, that’s a little early on the pun.” She then sighed in frustration and grumbled, “Oh, who am I kidding? This is pointless.”

Twilight turned to the camera and spoke up, “Seriously, why am I using bad comedy to distract trolls? I mean, practically every line I’ve got in this scene is just preposterous! Especially that one where I literally point out a distraction! Who writes this stuff anyway?!”

Sunset simply sighed in frustration and banged her head against the bars of the cage.

The LEGO Team of Canterlot City were gathered in the briefing area of the local LEGO Team Headquarters building, ready to receive their next mission assignment.

However, as Celestia Playwell began tapping buttons on the console, a tone rang from the computer’s speakers and a pop-up window came up on the display screen that read, “A fatal error has occurred.” Celestia desperately kept tapping buttons, but each time, the same tone would ring out and another pop-up identical to the first came up.

By the time there were a dozen “fatal error” pop-ups on the screen, Celestia sighed in frustration, then turned to the crew behind the cameras and requested, “I think we’ll need to call in an IT specialist. This doesn’t look good…”

As everyone began to realize that the technical issue would probably take a while to resolve, Rainbow Dash turned to the camera and asked, “Does this mean we get the rest of the day off?”

On the streets of Canterlot City, Sunset Shimmer walked over to her custom-built convertible car. She opened the door, climbed into the driver’s seat, shut the door, and then started the engine.

As Sunset made some adjustments, Pinkie Pie slowly rose up from her hiding place in the car’s backseat. With a naughty grin on her face, she slowly reached her arm out towards Sunset. However, just before she could touch her, Sunset tapped a seemingly random button on the dashboard and the seat Pinkie was in suddenly shot up out of the car, taking Pinkie with it.

Pinkie screamed as the ejector seat carried her up into the air and then plummeted down onto the sidewalk beside the car. She groaned as she sat up and looked over at Sunset.

Sunset glanced back at Pinkie with a smug smile and simply said, “Nice try, Pinkie.” She turned her attention forward and stomped on the accelerator. With a squeal of the tires, the car sped off down the street.

Pinkie Pie silently watched the car zoom away. With yet another attempt to force Sunset to look inside her mind ending in total failure, Pinkie snapped her clawed hand and grumbled, “Drat!”
