//------------------------------// // Ending Scene // Story: My Little Pony: The Movie, How it Should Have Ended // by G33kySt3v3 //------------------------------// I can't believe I was sitting in this cage willingly. It's funny, I and the other princesses let all the stuff that happened, happen. Why and how you might ask? Well, how is pretty simple to explain, as pseudo-goddesses it's pretty easy for us to just disregard everything mortals can come up with and then act like they were never there, so if we had really wanted to, we could have just ended this before it started. But another thing we really enjoy? Making the mortals of this world feel special, like they did good, even the ones that wish us harm, we wouldn't want to discourage others from attacking us, that would make life boring. And that leads to the why, if you can disregard all the challenges life throws at you, it gets boring, so we sometimes act like we couldn't have made the situation awful for mortals and find a mortals' way of solving the situation. But seriously, this Storm King guy was pissing me off, could he just stop interrupting Tempest so we could get on with our days? Soon, they were done talking, and it happened. The Storm King went to jam his staff in the hole in the middle of the floor, and since I already knew how this worked... I quickly put myself into a hover just above the floor of the cage, it provided just enough room to do that, thanks Tempest. Dramatic light show, Storm King looks pleased with himself, and Tempest looks surprised and overjoyed to finally have a chance at getting her horn back, all according to plan. Then all the lights quickly faded back to where they came from. Oops, guess me not touching the spell circle messed something up... They quickly realized something had failed and looked to me. "Yeah... Sorry, kind of done the whole magic stealing thing with a thousand year old centaur before. Can I just say, not a fan, really not the best feeling in the world." I quickly dismantled the cages magic dispelling effects, and blasted the cage open. "Also, I've kind of just been acting the whole time, wanted to add some excitement to the mortals' life as Celestia would say. Tempest was the first to react, in about the manner you can expect from some one who just realized they're not as cool as they thought they were. "Whaa?" "Yeah, yeah, act surprised, maybe tell me I'm bluffing, and this is all just an illusion I'm somehow distracting you with. But it's real, I could have defeated you at anytime. I'll be taking this, don't want that crazy stick in your claws anymore." I snatched the Staff of Sacanas from The Storm King's claws, to which he immediately reacted. He jumped forward and slashed his claws at me, in quite a show of speed too. "The staff is mine!" I just phased out of the spot I was in, then quickly back in, after he had flown farther then he expected to without hitting something. "Yeah... No, and since I'm pretty sure the plan was to outright kill you..." I stabbed the staff through his head, until only the gem in the top was sticking out, then I teleported his body somewhere in Tarturus. Could've been a lava pit, could've been somewhere his body would just lay and decay for a bit, I didn't really care. "That's no fun, thousand year old revenge plots are the best! But Celestia said, Twilight, I need you to shatter this guy like you did Sombra, and I was like, alright Celestia, sounds good to me. Guess I didn't do it quite right, but oh well... Anywho, you should stop inching slowly away in hopes that I keep talking to myself, and not notice you. You're not off the hook yet." Tempest froze, and after seeing some of the darker things I did, I couldn't blame her for looking so scared. "What are you looking at? Do I have something on my face? Oh that reminds me! You've got something on the top of your head that needs fixing! Let me just do some Goddess of Magic bullshittery!" After carefully examining the diameter of the base of her horn, I healed the horn to what it should look like, soon I even added the magical foci it needed to function properly, and the nerves to make sure it's other purposes could be served. "Ta-da! All fixed up, it should work just like new again!" She stared up at her horn, and apparently the only reaction she could make was a gasp that the mixed emotions of, surprise, horror, joy, and astonishment. Then she quickly looked back down at me like I was some animal she treated improperly and had just escaped to get revenge. "Why do you still seem so afraid of me? Ooh, that's right! You just watched me kill some one like it was nothing! Well let me tell you, that's not what I had planned for you, and killing really isn't fun, I prefer to avoid it if I can. No, Celestia distinctly said, Twilight, while I want you to utterly demolish The Storm King, please spare the commander, reformation tactics only. Soo... The plan is reformation, which starts now!" I quickly dispelled the obsidian prisons around the other princesses, and gave them a dramatic group hug. "Thank the stars Twilight, I thought you might never save us from our prisons and we may have to deal with the situation itself! You are known to humor the mortals a little too much!" Luna said, and it seemed that Tempest was still frozen to the spot she stood, like one of the obsidian statues previously in the room. "In my defense, this one," she pointed to Tempest, "Is a lot of fun to play with, she's so confident all the time. It's a testament to my self control that I didn't just teleport her and I to a private location and just screw her right then and there!" "Ah yes, The Storm King's commander I asked you to spare, and since I don't see him, himself, I assume you took care of the issue he caused?" Celestia asked. "Yeah, yeah, I got rid of him. I even dumped the remains somewhere in Tarturus, don't remember where... Couldn't really be asked to care at that moment. Ah, but we're talking too long! I'll just take Tempest, have her make up for the crimes she committed by having her help me clean up Canterlot for my Friendship Festival tomorrow, and then I'll show her some of the benefits that come with being in a relationship with the Goddess of Magic! See you all tomorrow!"
