Call to Order
A meeting of the Royal Guard and the Royal Archmage Court, was held at the Royal Canterlot Castle on the fourth of January at noon.

New Spark, Fourth-rank Arcanist of the Royal Archmage Court

 Bold Spear, Sergeant of the First Division of the Royal Guard, excused



Proceedings
Meeting called to order at 12:00 by Comet Streak.



New Spark explained the Archmage's preliminary findings of the Southern Tower as well as the progress being made by the Court. Ambience magic should dissipate by the end of the day and work on the unknown magical readings can start.

Private Copper Wing mentioned the possible leads of her own investigation. Progress has been steady if slower than expected. The Guard is still on the look for any possible eyewitnesses to the event.

On the matter of public disclosure, Private Copper Wing noted that despite the efforts fo the Royal Guard to mantain order, discomfort and uncertainty is still growing amidst the ponies of Canterlot.

Comet Streak recommends that whether or not there is substantial progress in the following days, an announcement to the citizens must be made to assuage concerns. After brief discussion, agreement was unanimous. 



Assessment of the Meeting



Until we receive further instructions from Princess Celestia, the involved parties will continue their investigations.

Under the current circumstances, an expedite and transparent announcement to the citizens is the best course of action.
