//------------------------------// // Bonding, Accusations, and Blame // Story: The ultimate surprise // by shadowshild612 //------------------------------// Dillan smiled as he walked into the kitchen, looking at Scootaloo as her stomach growled loudly again. The human frowned and pulled out a chair for the filly as he grabbed a bowel while she sat down.  “What did you make?” Scootaloo asked, while holding her stomach, trying to keep it quiet. "Spaghetti, do you like Spaghetti?" Dillan asked her with a small smile as he puts some in a different bowl for her with some garlic bread.  “Yes. My dad used to make it all the time.” She said with a small smile. Dillan smiles softly and rubs her head, setting the bowl of food in front of her. "I'm sure he'll be home soon."  “I hope so.” She said sadly as she started to eat. “Thank you for the food.” Dillan smiled softly as he started to eat as well. "No problem, if you ever need anything just stop by ok?"  “I will try to remember that.” She said, and the two ate in silence for a while. Dillan glanced at Scootaloo with a worried look thinking to himself as they ate. "It's obvious she's not eating properly at home… maybe I should tell Rainbow or the other elements…" he thought to himself before pausing for a moment. "No, Rainbow would go off the handle and probably beat her stepmom to a pulp, and the others would overreact… I guess I'll just have to keep making sure she's properly fed until I have more proof."  The human glanced at Scootaloo again, noticing her bowel was empty as she munched on the slice of garlic bread he had given her. "Do you want some more?"  “Huh?” She looked up. “Um…if that's ok.” "Of course, you can have as much as you want." Dillan said with a smile, putting more spaghetti in her bowel with another slice of garlic bread.  Scootaloo gulped and licked her lips. “Thank you mister Dillan!” She then started eating again. Dillan chuckled and rubbed her head. "Just be careful, if you eat too much you'll get sick. Just eat until you're full ok?"  “Ok!” She said and ate so quickly she seemed like an orange blur. Dillan tried to hide his laughing as Scootaloo ate, smiling at her with a grin. "Careful, eat too much and you won't have room for ice cream."  Scootaloo froze for a moment before looking up at Dillan slowly. “Ice cream?” He nodded with a grin. "Unless you don't want any."  Scootaloo smiled innocently. “I wouldn't say no.” A halo even appeared over her head. Dillan laughed a bit as he got some more bowels out. "I have chocolate, vanilla, cookies and cream."  “Yes please!” She said, her smile growing. Dillan laughed again, giving her one scoop of each ice cream before putting chocolate syrup on top along with sprinkles. "Here ya go."  Scootaloo squealed with happiness before she started eating it, a few minutes later she was leaning back in the chair, looking more rounded and ball-like. “Ugh so full.” Dillan tried to hold it in before he broke out laughing. "You look like a puff ball!"  Scootaloo tried to say something but she just burped. Dillan kept laughing so hard he started to choke. "Oh man, t-that's just funny."  “Not…funny…feel like I'm gonna…” Scootaloo said and burped again. Dillan got up and gently helped her to the bathroom. "If you need to throw up, go ahead."  “I think I will be…” She throws up before she can finish. Dillan shakes his head with a smile as he rubs her back as thunder shakes the house, making Scootaloo jump. “Wnat was that? Rain wasn’t scheduled for today.” "Hmm, maybe they changed their minds." He said as rain began pouring outside.  “That's really-” Scootaloo started before she threw up more. Dillan rubs her back more with a small smile. "I warned you not to eat a so fast."  “But it was so good.” She whimpered. "I know, but you still need to take your time and savor it." He said with a chuckle.  Scootaloo sighed as she stopped throwing up. “I'm sorry.” "Hey it's ok, you can have more if you promise not to eat so quickly." Dillan chuckled softly, flushing the toilet.  She shook her head. “No more please.” "You sure?" He asked, walking back out.  “Yeah…any more and I'll puke again.” She said weakly. Dillan nodded as they went to the living room, while rain and thunder roared outside. "Geez it's getting bad outside, you'd better stay here tonight." “Are you sure that is ok?” She asked as she looked out the window just as lightning struck and spooked her. Dillan smiled softly at her. "Of course, I'm not going to let you walk back in this danger…" he started to say, before someone banged on his door making the two jump in surprise. "Ous weather…" he said, going over to the door. "Who is it?"  "Dillan?" A familiar voice asked from outside. "It's me Rainbow dash, can uh… can I come in I got lost in the sudden downpour."  Dillan blinked in confusion a few times before he opened the door, letting the Rainbow pony inside. "How in the world did you get lost?"  "Hey, I was trying to get to Fluttershy's house but the sudden storm from the everfree forest made everything seem the same!" Rainbow said with a huff, her mane completely straight mane. Scootaloo peeked out with her distended belly and saw outside was downporing so hard that she couldn’t see five feet out. “Wow.” "Scootaloo?" Rainbow asked, looking down at the filly. "What are you doing here? And what happened to you?"  "She was exploring around the woods when it got dark, I found her and let her eat dinner here before it started raining. She kinda went overboard." Dillan said with a chuckle.  Scootaloo blushed and giggled nervously. “Yeah…” Rainbow chuckled softly. "So he's that good of a cook huh?" She asked as Dillan went into his bedroom. . “Yeah! He made spaghetti and garlic bread! He also had ice cream.” Scootaloo said with a smile. Rainbow chuckled softly as her own stomach growled a bit making her blush as Dillan came back out with a pillow and blanket, setting it on the couch. "There's still some left." Dillan said with a smile.  Scootaloo groaned and ran over to the couch. “No! No more, I'm too full!” Dillan laughed a bit along with Rainbow dash. "I was talking to Rainbow."  Scootaloo blushed and hid her head under a pillow. “Nevermind then.” Rainbow giggled a bit as she looked around Dillan's house more, before she slowly went into the kitchen. "You're soaking wet, don't you want to shower off and warm up?" Dillan asked her, holding out a towel to her.  “You ok with that?” Rainbow asked as she dried her wings. "Sure, better than letting you get sick or something. I have the guest room set up for Scootaloo and you can sleep in my room since the rain is so…" he said, opening the window showing the torrential downpour. "Dense…, I'll sleep on the couch."  “You sure? I mean…give me enough water and I can make a cloud bed for myself…just don’t tell anyone.” Rainbow said with a nervous chuckle. "Why not?" Dillan asked, raising an eyebrow. "Besides, you two are my guests. My parents raised me to always put a guest first, so my bed is your bed for tonight, and Scootaloo will have a bed all to herself." He said, getting a bowl of spaghetti for Rainbow.  “Well it's kinda illegal to make cloud furniture without a permit.” Rainbow said with a small smirk before she started eating. Dillan looked at her with a raised eyebrow and a shake of his head. "Oh I'm telling princess Celestia." He said as he went back into his bedroom.  Rainbow’s eyes widened. “Don’t you dare!” Dillan laughed as he stuck his head out. "Chill Dashy, I'm messing with you."  She blushed and sat back down. “Oh…” She shook her head. “You almost gave me a heart attack.” Dillan smiled a bit more as he came out of the bedroom again, holding a blanket with a picture of a bunch of humans on it. "Why would I turn you in, you're one of the few ponies to talk to me." Rainbow frowned. “I heard about that…it's bucked up.” She said before Scootaloo gasped. "Rainbow! That's such a bad word!" Scootaloo said as Dillan rubbed her head.  Dillan smiled softly as he shrugged putting the blanket on the couch. "It is what it is, creatures are afraid of what they don't know… in their eyes I'm something they've never seen that can become monsters that suddenly destroys something…"  “But you saved the girls, you saved us!” Rainbow said before looking down. “I thought everypony learned to not judge somepony on their appearance back with Zecora.” "Yeah well, at least Zecora looks similar to ponies. I'm so different they must not be able to look past it." Dillan said, before a large thunder crashed making Scootaloo jump and hide behind Dillan.  Rainbow watched and smiled softly as Scootaloo found safety with Dillan, then she frowned lightly when she felt that pull from before but shook her head. “Still, there are dragons, and minotaurs and who knows what else out there that walk on two legs.” Dillan shrugged, while gently rubbing Scootaloo's head to help her calm down. "I don't know… it's not that big of a deal…"  “Still is messed up.” Rainbow said as she finished the food. Dillan looked away with a small frown, clearly upset about the situation as he sighed softly. "D-did you want to take a shower?" He asked, changing the subject.  “Yeah…as long as you don’t mind.” She said and got up from the table. "I wouldn't have offered, if I wasn't." Dillan said with a small chuckle.  “Alright, I will try to not use up the hot water.” She trotted past Dillan and into the bathroom. Dillan smiled softly as he looked at Scootaloo still hiding behind him. "Hey it's ok, it's just rain."  “Sorry…the rain isn’t the issue even though it's wild weather.” She said timidly. "Oh, it's the thunder?" He asked, as another blast of thunder erupted through the area. She yelped and curled into a shivering ball around Dillan’s leg. Dillan gently picked her up and held her, rubbing her back as he sat down on the couch. "Hey it's ok, we're safe in here."  “I…I know that…I’m not a baby…” She said, a bit upset. "I know." Dillan smiled softly, rubbing her head. "I'm just saying, I know it's loud and scary. But you have me and Rainbow here."  “It…just reminds me of something that happened…” She said and looked down. Dillan gently wraps her up in his blanket as he rubs her back a bit. "I won't press you for details, it's ok."  “I…almost hurt my dad…bad.” She said and sniffled. Dillan looked at her, rubbing her back gently. "What happened?"  “I was in my dad's office…I found a new thing…I didn’t know what it was and was messing around with it.” She lowered her head and whimpered. “Dad came in and yelled at me to put it down, he scared me and it made a loud boom, like thunder. The next thing I know there is a hole in the wall next to my dad's head…” Dillan rubbed her head gently. "Hey it's ok, it was just a mistake. And he's ok right?"  “Y-yeah but I almost…almost…” She said with a whimper. Dillan gently held her in a comforting embrace. "Hey it's ok, you didn't know what if was. Everything is ok."  Scootaloo cried into his chest. Dillan smiled as he continued to rub her back, rocking her gently as Rainbow dash came out. “Whoa, what did I miss?” She asked. "I'll tell you later." Dillan said, rocking Scootaloo more as she cried.  “Ok…” Rainbow said as she watched Scootaloo. “Um..do you mind if I use your room for some privacy?” Dillan raised an eyebrow at her with a playful smirk. "Do I bother you that much? Why didn't you do that in the bathroom?"  Rainbow blushed and frowned. “I need to preen my feathers jerk.” Dillan raised an eyebrow in confusion as Scootaloo nuzzled against him. "Human." He said pointing to himself. "I don't know why that's private… but… as long as you don't make too big of a mess, sure, after all I offered my bedroom to you so go ahead."  “Only family or really close ponies share preening.” Rainbow said with a blush. Dillan blushed and turned away. "O-oh, ok go ahead."  “Yeah.” Rainbow said before she rubbed Scootaloo’s back before walking off to the bedroom. Dillan rubbed Scootaloo's back more. "A-are you feeling better?" “Maybe…could…could I have another scoop of ice cream?” She asked shyly. "Of course." Dillan said, getting up with her as he goes to the kitchen.  She smiled and looked up at him. “Are you gonna date Rainbow now?” Dillan blushed deeply. "W-what!?" “Are you and Rainbow dating now?” She asked again. "N-no!" Dillan said, a little too loudly. "W-we're just friends!"  She tilted her head. “Then how come you are going on that date with her?” Dillan blushed and opened his mouth to speak, pausing as he thought about it. "Why did I make that bet?" He asked himself while rubbing his chest a little like something was pulling at it. "T-theres a difference between dating someone and going on a date Scootaloo…"  “Oh…” She said and looked down before asking. “I am not annoying you am I?” Dillan looked at her with a bemused look, as he set another scoop of ice cream in front of her. "Of course not, I love having you around."  She smiled and took the ice cream. “Thank you.”  Dillan smiled softly as he rubbed her head gently, neither one of them noticing Rainbow was watching from the corner. "No thank you for being my friend Scoots." He said, while Rainbow noticed something was off but couldn't put her hoof on it.  Scootaloo smiled at that and started eating the ice cream. “Where did you get this ice cream?” Dillan grinned a bit. "Oh don't you know? Humans are very stealthy and with my fingers I can steal anything I want… or do this!" He said tickling her playfully.  She gasped and started laughing while struggling to get away. “No! Not tickles!” Dillan laughed with a fake evil laugh as he continued to tickle her, making Rainbow Dash cover her mouth to suppress a giggle.  "You won't get away!"  “Nooo!” Scootaloo squealed as she laughed and weakly kicked. “Please stop!” Dillan chuckled and stopped tickling her, setting her on the chair again in front of her ice cream. "Feel better?" He asked with a smile.  She was still giggling as she nodded her head. “Yeah.” “Having fun you two?” Rainbow asked as she walked into the room. "Hey, yeah we are." Dillan asked with a small smile before looking at Scootaloo. "Also, I bought the ice cream from sugar cube corner on my way home."  “Oh.” She said with a small giggle. “Good.” Rainbow said and walked over to them. “So gonna hog all the ice cream or can I get some?”  "Of course, I'll make yours up the way I did Scootaloo's before… before she threw up." He chuckled, getting the ice cream out and putting a scoop of each flavor, chocolate, vanilla, and cookies and cream before drizzling chocolate syrup all over it and adding a handful of sprinkles before adding a cherry on top. "I completely forgot I had cherries… and I just bought them!" He laughed, setting the bowel on the table.  “Scoots threw up?” Rainbow asked with a raised eyebrow as she started eating the ice cream. "I-i um…" Scootaloo said with an embarrassed blush.  "She ate too fast is all." Dillan said with a smile as he ate a mint chip ice cream sandwich. "I warned her, but I will say it was funny she was literally bloated like a ball."  Rainbow chuckled. “Sounds like Pinkie.” She shook her head and looked at Scootaloo. “Take it slow from now on ok?” Scootaloo blushed and crossed her hooves. "Dillan already said that, jeez it's like you two are married."  Both Rainbow and Dillan blushed and looked away from each other. "Seriously? We're j-just worried about you." Dillan said. "W-why am I so flustered?"  “Yeah! B-besides I doubt he is into mares.” Rainbow said, still blushing. Dillan raised an eyebrow and looked at her. "You think I'm gay?"  “What? No, but you aren’t a pony so I don't think you’d be interested in a pony.” Rainbow said, holding a hoof up. Dillan's glare turned into a smirk before he started laughing. "Relax Rainbow, I knew what you meant." He chuckled. "But as for me being into a pony, I don't care. I can turn into a pony myself, remember?" He said, before looking away with a sad look while leaning on the table. "I kinda figured I'd end up with a girlfriend at some point, I'm still… I'm just… I just lost my family and fiance you know?"  “Yeah…” Rainbow said and slowly lowered her hoof and almost set it on Dillan’s hand but she pulled away. “I am sure you will find somepony some day.” Scootaloo looked between the two of them with a spoon of ice cream in her mouth as Dillan sighed. "Yeah… if everyone stops being scared…" he paused and glanced at Scootaloo. "Poopless of me."  Rainbow giggled a bit. “You're good with foals.”  Dillan smiled softly. "Well helping siblings raise two daughters when they're busy will do that… also I didn't take you for a giggler."  Rainbow blushed and crossed her hooves. “I have no idea what you're talking about!” Dillan chuckled softly as thunder and lightning erupted outside again, shaking the whole house. "Jeez, are everfree storms normally this crazy?"  “Yeah, wild weather is nuts.” Rainbow said. "Back home it's normal. We had weather this bad before, but I never had it shake my house before." Dillan said, looking at Scootaloo who had ice cream all over her front while trying not to laugh.  “Sounds horrible, never knowing what the weather is gonna do.” Rainbow said, shaking her head, that's when Dillan saw she too had ice cream all over her face. Dillan starts to laugh at the two. "You both need baths again!" Both girls looked at each other before they started laughing. The three laughed for a few minutes, as he started to calm down he looked between the two girls. "H-how come it feels like I'm home still… with Alyssa…"  he thought to himself looking down in thought.  “Come on Scoots, let’s get cleaned up.” Rainbow said as she got up with a smile. Scootaloo smiled with a nod as she got up before looking at Dillan, frowning a little. "Dillan are you ok?" She asked, without getting a response.  Rainbow frowned a little, worried she upset Dillan but used a wing to guide Scootaloo to the bathroom. Scootaloo frowned and hung her head with a sniffle, feeling like she had upset Dillan as well. "You ok Scootaloo?" He asked.  “Are you mad?” She asked weakly. "Why would I be mad?" He asked with a confused look.  “Well…you seemed upset.” Rainbow said this time. Dillan blinked and shook his head. "Oh, no! It's nothing you two did I swear. I was just reminded of my fiancee, you don't have to worry." He said with a smile.  Rainbow and Scootaloo looked at each other. Dillan walked over and set his hands on their heads, while kneeling down. "It's ok, really. Sorry I worried you."  “Ok, but if you're bothered by something let us know.” Rainbow said. Dillan smiled at her, making her heart beat fast as he nodded. "Got it." Rainbow blushed lightly, and she grabbed Scootaloo’s hoof. “Come on Scoots, we gotta get cleaned up!” She said in a rush and dragged the filly to the bathroom. Dillan blinked in confusion as he stood up, scratching his head before sitting on the couch waiting for the two to come out of the shower before falling asleep almost instantly.  Scootaloo looked at Rainbow in the shower confused. "Why'd you do that?"  “Sorry Scoots.” Rainbow said and held a hoof on her chest. “I just…felt strange around him.” Scootaloo tilted her head in confusion. "Do you love him?"  Rainbow blushed and sat down on her flanks. “I…I don’t know.” Scootaloo tilted her head while looking at Rainbow. "How come? Do you feel fuzzy and warm around him?"  “Y-yes…” Rainbow said as her ears slowly folded back. Scootaloo blushed a bit as she fiddled with her hooves. "I-i feel the same about Rumble… and R-rarity's books say that means I'm in love or crushing or something… it says if you feel that way you feel happy around him or her…"  Rainbow’s eyes widened as she looked off into space. “Buck…I'm in love..” Scootaloo smiled softly at her. "That's good though right?"  “Scoots…this isn’t good, at least not right now. We just met and he is still hurt from losing his fiancé.” Rainbow said while grabbing her mane. “Oh man what am I gonna do?” Scootaloo tilted her head and tapped her chin. "Maybe try talking to Rarity or Fluttershy? Rarity has all those book and Fluttershy is a good listener."  Rainbow sighed and lowered her head. “I may speak to Fluttershy but Rarity is too much of a gossip, if i tell her the whole town will find out.” She then boops Scootaloo’s nose. “Speaking of telling, please don’t tell anypony.” Scootaloo blushed and nodded. "S-same about Rumble please, I don't want him to know yet." Rainbow smirked and rubbed her head. “Don’t worry I won’t say anything, but just let me know if his brother gets annoying.” Scootaloo giggled and nodded. "Alright, let's finish getting cleaned up."  “Yeah.” The two washed themselves and then dried off before Rainbow put Scootaloo on her back and went out to the living room to see Dillan asleep. Rainbow bit her lip and upon seeing Scootaloo also asleep she decided it wouldn’t hurt she got up on the couch and layed next to Dillan with Scootaloo on the other side. Dillan rolled over in his sleep so he was facing Rainbow and Scootaloo, subconsciously covering them all up as his arm draped over Rainbow resting his hand on her back. Rainbow blushed as she looked at his hand, her face turning back to his before slowly nesting her face between him and the couch, a small smile on her face.  Three hours before hand  Twilight watched the rain falling from her throne room as her friends sat around the crystal map. "So Yer gonna put spying spells on Dillan's home with Pinkies cameras… while ahm all fer protecting Rainbow dash but violating someone's privacy just seems wrong." Applejack said, looking out the window as well.  “I would agree normally but something is up with him.” Twilight said with a frown. “Rainbow is being pulled to him for some reason, scootaloo is being drawn to him as well, there is also his sudden arrival…I”ve been thinking and it seemed a bit too convenient that he shows up right as the CMC are in danger to rescue them.” "G-girls…" Fluttershy said quietly. "Um… the rain is getting bad and I have to meet Rainbow Dash at my house."  "What do you mean? You think he planned everything?" Pinkie pie asked with a tilt of her head, as no one heard Fluttershy.  “Maybe…he could have someone send that robot to attack him so he can be the hero and lower our guards…” Twilight said before she turned to look at everyone. “We can’t let him trick us and take over.” Thunder erupted violently from outside as the rain began falling harder, before Rarity walked in from the main doors with a raincoat on. "Hello darlings I'm sorry for being late. It took a little while to finish Rainbow's dress for her date with Dillan. What did I miss?" “Oh not much, just Twilight planning on violating his privacy with cameras and spells.” Applejack said with a frown. Rarity sighed as she hung up the raincoat. "I… I don't think Dillan has done anything darling."  “You don’t?” Everyone asked. Rarity blushed a bit. "Well um, before I left my abode to come to our meeting earlier this morning, Dillan showed up looking nervous and muttering why he challenged her to such a bet and he didn't think she would accept it." She said, making everyone look at each other. "I believe he was talking about Rainbow dash, and he ordered an expensive suit saying even if it was for a bet he was raised to look his best for a date, so I personally I believe we should look into other options for what's going on as well. For all we know one of Dillan's new enemies he's told us about could be doing this."  “Maybe…but I still want to study him in his home.” Twilight said with a frown. "I-i have to go girls…" Fluttershy said softly, eeping as thunder rocked the castle.  Twilight looked over and raised an eyebrow. “Fluttershy, where are you going? The weather is too dangerous to go outside.” Fluttershy looked at her with a worried expression. "I'm supposed to meet Rainbow Dash at my house, if I don't go she'll be locked outside or try flying!"  Twilight sighed and lit her horn. “Then at least let me teleport you home.” Fluttershy nodded softly, smiling a little as Twilight's horn began to glow. "Thank you Twilight, see you girls tomorrow."  “See ya sugarcube.” Applejack said with a smile. “Bye Fluttershy!” Pinkie said with a giggle. “I will meet you at the spa tomorrow darling.” Rarity said with a smile. Fluttershy smiled and waved to everyone before Twilight teleported her away. "Do you girls want to go home or stay here?" Twilight asked with a small small smile.  “I need to get back to the farm.” Applejack said as she fixed her hat.  “I will be ok.” Pinkie said with a giggle as she hopped out the door.  “If it is alright with you I will stay the night.” Rarity said with a sad smile. Twilight smiled softly as her horn glowed, her aura appearing around Applejack. "See y'all later." Applejack said with a smile before she vanished.  “I’ll go get Rarity’s room ready!” Spike said before he ran out of the room. Rarity and Twilight giggled at spike's actions. "He's excited." Twilight said.  Rarity rolled her eyes with a smile. “Of course he is, he is gonna help me.” Twilight raised an eyebrow at her. "With what?"  “Setting my room up of course darling, you know Spike and his crush on me. He wants to do anything he can to help me in any way.” She said with a giggle. Twilight grins a bit as she leans in to whisper in Rarity's ear. "And what about your growing crush on him?" She asked with a giggle, making Rarity blush before going to bed.  The next day.  Dillan's eyes slowly opened with a groggy blink, feeling something warm against his neck. The human turned slightly to see what it was, noticing Rainbow dash sleeping against him with Scootaloo between the two causing him to blush. "W-what the hell?!" He thought to himself, repositioning himself a little and causing Scootaloo to wake up.  “Huh?” She yawned and stretched. “Five more minutes please.” Dillan glanced down to look at Scootaloo as Rainbow woke up, her face less than five inches from Dillan's when they both moved a bit looking at each other with blushes. "Are you two gonna kiss?" Scootaloo asked, watching them from her spot.  Both blushed but before they could answer a loud boom shook the whole house knocking everyone onto the floor. “What the buck was that!?” Dillan stood up and opened the curtain to his balcony, watching in shock as the rain and wind swirled with thunder booming and lighting shooting everywhere. "Tornado!" He shouted.  Rainbow ran over and her eyes widened. “No! That isn’t possible even with pegasus magic this environment doesn't support a tornado! Even mine fall apart after a few seconds.”  Dillan pulled Rainbow away from the window as a blast of wind shot the glass out of his window, covering them both in glass and rain. "Get to the basement now!" He shouted, helping Rainbow up before he ran to a door.  “Why is this happening!?” Scootaloo yelled as she ran behind them. Dillan picked Scootaloo up as they went down to the basement, setting her down in Rainbow's lap before looking back up at the door. "I don't know, but it clearly isn't natural for this world, are you two alright?" He asked looking back at them.  “I think I am ok.” Rainbow said before they both heard Scootaloo hiss and hold up a hoof. “I think I got some glass in my frog.” She said with a whine. Dillan and Rainbow both looked at her as Dillan slowly lifted her hoof to look at it, noticing a shard of glass. "Alright, just hold still I'll be right back." He said quietly running upstairs.  "I-it hurts…" Scootaloo said.  “Don't worry Scoots, as soon as we can we will get you to the hospital.” Rainbow said as she rubbed Scootaloo’s back. Dillan ran back downstairs with some peroxide and a pair of tweezers. "This may hurt a little Scootaloo, but I need to get the glass out and clean the wound ok?"  She nodded her head and looked away, as Rainbow also covered her face with a wing. “Ok, do it.” Dillan turned Scootaloo's hoof around gently so it was facing upwards before he slowly pulled the glass out causing Scootaloo to whimper, as blood seeped out of the wound. He slowly poured some peroxide onto the cut to clean it as it bubbled and turned white, causing Scootaloo to whimper more. "you're doing great, Scoots, just a bit more." Rainbow said, as Dillan popped up his Ultimatrix and turned into a large mummy like alien before lifting his hand and wrapping his bandages around her cut gently but firmly tighten it.   "All done." Dillan said, turning human again.  “Ok Scoots, this is serious, stay off that hoof until we can get you a shoe.” Rainbow told her sternly.  Scootaloo nodded with a whimper as Dillan got up, walking back towards the door. "Where are you going?" Scootaloo asked.  "I'm gonna see what's causing this extreme weather, the only things I can think of is someone using a machine to cause it for whatever reason, an alien of some kind trying to get my Ultimatrix, or it's the start of a new ice age… but that last one is from a movie." He chuckled softly.  “I’m coming with you!” Rainbow said and stood up. Dillan turned around and held up a hand stopping her. "No, I know you mean well and want to help. But with weather this extreme only my transformations can handle it. Besides…" He looked at Scootaloo. "She needs you here with her, to make sure her hoof doesn't get worse and because of her… fear of thunder."  Rainbow looked between Scootaloo and Dillan with a frown before she growled and stomped a hoof. “Fine! But you better come back or I'll find your ghost and kick its butt!” Dillan chuckled as he smiled at her with a wide toothy smile making her heart skip a beat again. "Promise, Cross my heart, hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye." He said doing the pinkie promise movements before rushing out the door.  "Why didn't you kiss him goodbye?" Scootaloo asked after a few moments of silence.  Rainbow blushed and groaned. “Scoots…don’t make me tickle you.” Scootaloo gasped and tried to get away. "Noooo!"  Rainbow held her down. “Calm down…just wait for Dillan to get back.” Dillan covered his face as he looked outside, watching the tornado before he turned into Jet ray and flew inside the tornado. The human turned alien looked around for a bit, noticing a small blue alien with red eyes and two toed feet as it giggled.  “Weee!” They said as the winds got stronger and they spun around like a top. Dillan looked at the creature in confusion, watching it spin around like a top with a happy laugh as the wind and rain grew worse. "Hey!" He shouted. "You need to stop!"  The creature didn’t stop, in fact it lifted its arms and the rain got harder, the air got colder and the rain began to freeze into sharp ice. “So much fun!” Dillan's eyes widened as he dodged each shard of ice, blasting one that came right at him before he flew closer to the alien. "Come on, this is dangerous!" The creature frowned and yelled while thrusting its arms towards Dillan. “Noo! Go away!” A strong wind blew Dillan back. Dillan's eyes widened as he flipped backwards repeatedly, forcing himself to a stop before flying back to the alien. "Please, you need to stop! My friend got hurt because of your storm!"  “I don’t care! If they can’t handle my play time then they can leave!” It said as the storm got stronger.  Dillan raised an eyebrow before he grinned a little. "Play time huh? So you're a kid?"  “Duh! Are you stupid?” They said before laughing and changed the direction of the wind knocking Dillan out of the tornado.  Dillan shook his head as he growled, taking a deep breath before he flew back in not noticing the elements of harmony watching from Twilight's castle. "Listen kid, you're destroying homes and hurting innocent creatures. If you don't stop, I'm gonna put you in a time out!"  The alien child blew a raspberry before it spun around faster, the tornado growing in size and more homes were being destroyed. “No! Go away!” Dillan glared at the child before shooting its leg with a laser. "Bad! You're being a bad kid!"  “Gah! You're a mean man!” The child yelled after getting hit. The child then made it hail hard, the hail the size of softballs. Dillan avoided the hail as he flipped around and spun making it look like a cool trick to the child alien. The alien chuckled and clapped its hands before making more wind and hail try to hit Dillan. The human continued to avoid the hail, performing more tricks and flips before he flew around the child-like alien. "Listen I'm all for a good time but you could kill someone, does that sound like fun to you?"  “So what? They are just animals.” The child said with a laugh. Dillan looked at the alien with a sad expression. "No they aren't, they can talk and think just like you and me."  “You can talk but you're still just an animal.” The kid said before they disappeared into the wind and reappeared behind Dillan and blasted him away with cold wind. Dillan shook his head violently as he glared at the kid. "No I'm not, I'm a living, breathing and thinking creature. Creatures that can talk are not animals!" He said, before flying in the opposite direction of the wind canceling out the tornado.  “Hey! Stop that! You're gonna stop my tornado!” The kid yelled as they tried to make it stronger. "That's the idea! I'm not going to let you hurt anyone else! It's my job to protect them when they need a hero!" Dillan shouted, speeding up and slowing the tornado down more.  “No no no no!” The kid yelled as the storm grew larger covering all of Ponyville, lighting strikes happening more often, hail larger, winds stronger. “Stop ruining my fun!” Dillan glared at the kid before using his speed to bodyslam him out of the tornado and across the forest. "Then stop hurting others! Keep it up and I'll put you in jail!"  “You’re mean!” The kid yelled before trying to push Dillan off with a blast of cold air. "No, you're the one being mean!" Dillan said, landing on the ground with the kid, turning back to normal and grabbing his ear. "What about hurting others is fun to you! Is it fun to kill other creatures!? Is it fun to ruin families?!"  "That's enough." A voice said, as two aliens of the same kind as the child floated down. "We will take care of scolding our son." The female said.  “Ow ow ow! Mom, this mean thing is hurting me!” The child yelled in a whine. "Strike, you were causing a lot of damage and could have killed someone, what did we tell you about creating storms on other creatures' planets!?" The male asked in a stern voice as Dillan let go of Strike's ear.  Strike lowered his head. “But blaze said these are just animals because they aren’t like us.”  The man groaned and shook his head, turning to Dillan. "I'm sorry, our older son doesn't like other species and tricks his brother into doing these kinds of things. My name is Snow Storm, and this is my wife Heat Wave."  "I'm so sorry for Lightning Strike's behavior." Heat wave said, bowing to Dillan a little.  "H-hey it's ok, kids will be kids." Dillan said with a small smile, putting his hands up. "My name's Dillan, it's nice to meet you all."  “It is nice to meet you too, first human we have met in a long time.” Snow Storm said and shook Dillan’s hand, leaving a layer of frost on it. Dillan raised an eyebrow at them. "You've been to earth? Let me guess you ran into a human with a blue watch that chased you off calling you off world alien haters or something."  “Oh no, when we went to earth it was what I believe you called it the 1800’s.” Heat Wave said. “But our cousin Tremer went to visit and he was attacked about three years ago.” Snow Storm added. "Oh wow, the 1800's? That's really cool, and I'm sorry about your cousin. The kid there with a watch like mine doesn't exactly know how to tell the difference between good species and bad species. He just attacks any alien that steps foot on the planet… I'm gonna have to kick his butt if I ever meet him."  “Well to be fair our cousin has a habit of making new fault lines.” Heat Wave said with a small laugh. Dillan's eyes widened at the statement. "Fault lines? Yeah that would be a problem."  “Thank you for stopping our son from doing any serious damage, the plumbers would have sent him to the juvenile section of the null void.” Snow Storm said while shaking his head. Dillan looked confused again at the statement. "The null void has a Juvenile section?" “Oh yes, it is under extreme guard to keep them safe but it is where young aliens are sent to be scared straight.” Heat Wave said while holding onto Thunder Strike’s arm. "But I was just having some fun!" Thunder Strike whined as Dillan sighed softly.  "Yes but it was dangerous fun. Your tornado blew out the windows of my house and probably a lot of others, and my friend who is a child like you." He said, causing Thunder to look at him. "Got glass in her foot, and these creatures have very sensitive feet. If it had been any deeper she may not have been able to walk again."   Thunder Strike's eyes widened at that, tears filling his eyes as he started to cry. "I-i'm s-sorry!"  “Thunder! Do you see now why we have to be careful when visiting other worlds!?” Snow Storm yelled. Thunder cried harder, covering his eyes as Dillan knelt down beside him with a small smile. "Hey it's ok, there wasn't any serious damage. I already cleaned her wound and bandaged it up, you just need to be more careful. In fact, wanna know something fun?" He asked, getting a small nod from Thunder. "The pegasus in this world can control the weather here too."  "R-really?" Thunder asked with a sniffle.  “Really?” Snow Storm and Heat Wave said together. “I thought we were the only beings that could control the weather.” "Well they can't control it to the extent you can but the pegusi here can control the clouds and they decide when it rains and such. It's how I knew the storm last night wasn't normal, and then waking up to a tornado? No chance. It was natural." Dillan chuckled softly, rubbing Thunders head gently as he yellow beam shit out of the ultimatrix and over Thunder. "Oh cool, a new scan."  “New scan?” Heat Wave asked while pulling her son closer. Dillan smiled a bit. "You two did see but I have the ability to change forms using this watch. I just scanned Thunders DNA so now I can become… well one of you."  “Wow, to think a being of flesh could become a weatharian.” Snow Storm said in shock. Dillan raised an eyebrow. "So your species name is Weatharian?... Wait, being of flesh?"  “Yes that is what we are called, and that is what we call beings like you.” Heat Wave said while poking Dillan before she disappeared in a flurry of hot air and appeared behind him. “We are living storms.” Dillan jumped a bit, turning around to see she was gone before looking back and seeing her with her family. "Ok… that's awesome!"  They chuckle a bit. “Yes, most flesh beings to see us as something amazing.”  Dillan chuckles and nods. "Of course we do, at least for humans who normally can't do things like that."  "U-um… c-can you turn into a weatharian?" Thunder Strike asked while fiddling with his fingers.  “Son, that is rude.” Heat Wave said in a scolding tone before adding. “You put his friends in danger, you have no right to ask him to do tricks.” Thunder looked down sadly, hanging his head while Dillan rubbed the back of his neck with a small grin. "Sure, I don't mind. I wanna see what I look like." He said, popping up his Ultimatrix.  “Are you sure? I feel like it would be rewarding Thunder for the trouble he caused.” Snow Storm said. Dillan hummed a bit before nodding. "Yeah you're right, sorry Thunder. I know you didn't have any bad intentions but you still caused-"  "Dillan!" A voice sounded out, as the group turned to see Rainbow dash and Scootaloo with the elements of harmony who were looking angry.  "Is that a horse?" Heat wave asked in confusion.  “Those are the colorful animals I was playing with.” Thunder said with a smile. "Dillan what the buck is going on!?" Twilight shouted, causing the weatharians to look confused.  "First off, Thunder, these are those friends I was talking about. That small one is the one that hurt her foot when the glass broke." Dillan said to Thunder Strike. "Second of all, it's just a misunderstanding Twilight." Rarity leaned over to Twilight and whispered. “Do you know what those things are?”  Twilight shook her head, glaring at Dillan slightly as he spoke to the three strange creatures. "How can they be your friends? All they do is make animal noises!" Thunder said, confused.  “Dear…I think they just speak a language that isn't in our translators.” Heat Wave said to her son. Thunder looked confused as Dillan chuckled softly. "That's ok, I can translate. Girls, this is Snow storm, Heat Wave, and their son Thunder Strike. They're aliens visiting the planet."  "Aliens?" Scootaloo asked, sitting on Rainbow's back while trying to see better.  “Aliens?!” The other girls yelled, surprised.  “Oh great, more threats!” Twilight yelled. Dillan looked at Twilight with a worried and confused look. "More threats? What do you mean?"  Twilight pointed at Dillan. “First that snow storm, then that robot, and now these…these…things!” Dillan took a step back in shock. "W-wait that snowstorm when I got here wasn't normal?" The weatharians watched on in confusion, while Thunder his behind his mother.  “No it wasn’t! The weather patrol was only able to get it under control after you arrived!” Twilight yelled as she stomped forward. “I don’t know what you are planning, but I will not let you brainwash my friends and turn them against us!” Dillan's eyes widened in shock as he stepped back. "what?!"  "Twilight what the buck are you talking about?!" Rainbow dash asked in shock. "He's done nothing but he'll since he's arrived!"  “Rainbow, stay out of this, he has done something to you and Scootaloo. I will use my magic to help both of you but first we need to capture him.” Twilight said as her horn lit with magic. “Um…perhaps it would be best if we leave, they seem to be upset.” Snow Storm said with a frown. Dillan stepped back a bit. "Y-yeah, you get your family out of here." He said, looking afraid at Twilight as the three weatharians began to fly away.  "We can't leave mister Dillan alone!" Thunder said with a frown.  “This isn’t our business Thunder, we should even be on this world.” Heat Wave said as they left. Dillan looked back and smiled softly as the three flew away, gasping in shock as Twilight wrapped her magic aura around him and began lifting him off the ground. "Twilight Will you stop! You're acting bucking crazy!" Rainbow yelled, getting between Twilight and Dillan.  “Applejack, hold Rainbow down.” Twilight said while glaring at Dillan. Applejack grabbed her rope and twirled it before throwing it around Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo, pulling them to the ground. "Sorry y'all but we need ta figure this all out."  "Applejack! What the buck!" Rainbow yelled as her other friends including Fluttershy pinned her down. "What are you guys doing!? Have you lost your mind!"  Dillan looked at Rainbow and Scootaloo getting tied down, before trying to reach out to them. "Hey, be careful! Scootaloo's hoof is hurt and Rainbow -"  “Quiet! We know you are up to something and are just using them! We know all about your mental suggestion that acts like a pull for Rainbow to be drawn towards you, no matter where you go!” Twilight yelled, cutting him off. Dillan looked at her in disbelief before it quickly turned to confusion. "A… pulling sensation?" He asked softly, rubbing his own chest a little.  “Tell us what you did!” Twilight yelled as tears filled her eyes. “I won’t lose my friends to brainwashing!” Dillan shakes his head clear before looking at her. "Twilight I haven't done anything! I'm a human, I don't have magic!"  “You did something!” Twilight yelled. “Stop it!” Scootaloo yelled as she cried openly. Dillan looked at Scootaloo with a worried look before getting her attention. "Scootaloo, it's ok. This is all a misunderstanding. Don't worry about me ok? You need to get your hoof checked at the hospital."  "B-but…" Scootaloo whimpered with tears in her eyes.  "I promise it'll be ok, go with someone to get your hoof checked." He said with a kind smile, as Fluttershy took Scootaloo away.  “Twilight, snap out of it! Look at what you're doing!” Rainbow yelled with a glare. "Quiet!" Twilight shouted as she glared at Dillan who looked at her with worry. "We're taking you to the dungeon, I'll figure out what you did to them soon enough!"  “Do we even have a dungeon?” Rarity questioned quietly. Twilight nodded as her horn glowed. "You guys keep an eye on Rainbow dash." She said, before Dillan and Twilight vanished.  "No!" Rainbow yelled, beginning to force herself to stand up despite her friends keeping her down.  “Rainbow calm down.” Applejack said as she did her beat to hold her friend without hurting her. “We just want ta make sure he ain’t doin nothin.” "He hasn't done anything! What the buck is wrong with all of you! We're the council of friendship. What about any of this shows friendship!?" Rainbow yelled.  Applejack frowned and sighed. “Ah know this doesn't feel right, but look at it from our point of view, ya have been acting strange around him ever since he arrived and it seems like he's drawing trouble here, more so than normal.” "And don't forget he already warned us that might happen! And we all said he was overreacting, remember!?" Rainbow yelled angrily.  Applejack sighed and looked away. “That still don’t explain what is happenin with you and Scootaloo.” "What!? That we're hanging out with a friend!?" Rainbow yelled. "Dillan doesn't have magic and from what I see you guys are jealous I'm hanging out with someone else!"  “No we ain't! Dash, you said it yerself, ya feel a pull to him, it only goes away when yer around him! He has to be doin somethin.” Applejack said while shaking her head. "Who says! Did you guys even think someone else might have been doing it to mess with us?!" Rainbow yelled again.  The girls looked at each other as the thought never even crossed their minds. Rainbow glared at them more. "That's what I thought, now get the buck off me!"  “Rainbow…why do ya trust him so much?” Rarity asked. Rainbow paused for a second as she looked down. "I-i don't know, it feels… it feels like I've known him for years."  “Do you see why we are concerned now?” Rarity asked. "Even if you are, that doesn't give you guys the right to accuse someone, without proof!" Rainbow said.  “Dang it Rainbow! We can’t risk losin you!” Applejack yelled. Rainbow stayed silent for a long time, as if thinking something over. "If Twilight hurts Dillan at all… then… We're not friends anymore, I can't be friends with ponies that hurt or accuse others without evidence, especially some creature that just lost their family."  Everyone flinched and backed away. “Rainbow…ya…ya don’t mean that.” Rainbow stood up and looked at Applejack. "Yes I do, I understand you're all worried about me, but you've all just abandoned someone we all said we would be friends with. Someone that lost everything, has been sent somewhere he doesn't fully understand, and where ponies have been ignoring him. I don't know why I feel a pull to Dillan for all I know it could be my element of loyalty telling me to be loyal to someone that needs a true friend. But I am One hundred percent serious, if he gets hurt at all… we're done."  “Then…go to him.” Rarity said with a sigh.  “We are sorry.” Fluttershy said, slowly walking back to them with Scootaloo.  Rainbow slowly trotted over and picked up Scootaloo, before flying off in the direction of Twilight's case. Pinkie's mane flattened out a bit as she sniffled while looking down. "W-we bucked up…"  “Yeah…” Applejack said with a sigh. “Come on girls, let’s go help.” Dillan sat in the dungeon of Twilight's castle, having his back to the wall in silence as Twilight looked through a mountain of books for a spell. “There has to be a way to fix Rainbow and Scootaloo.” She muttered. Dillan sighed softly as he looked out the window to the blue sky as the water front he storm dripped, before a loud bang vibrated Through the air. "Twilight!" Rainbow's voice shouted angrily.  “Rainbow?” Twilight looked up before she frowned and glared at Dillan. “Let her go now!” Dillan still stared out the window with a defeated and depressed look. "I already told you, I haven't done anything…"  Dillan heard a smack and thud, when he looked back he saw Rainbow with her hoof extended and Twilight on the ground holding her cheek. “Back off Twi! He is innocent! He isn’t doing anything to me!” Twilight stared at Rainbow with wide eyes as she held her cheek, tears forming in her eyes. "R-rainbow you just attacked me! And before you threaten to not be my friend anymore, that's not loyalty, something is making you go against your element!" She shouted as Dillan looked at the two in silence, as he turned his head away.  “No…nothing is making me betray my element.” Rainbow said coldly. “I am doing this because you are acting crazy, and attacking…" Twilight stood up in anger as her wings unfurled, her horn glowing. "I'm interrogating the cause of all this! Ever since he arrived things have become a hundred times worse! First the snowstorm, then that robot thing and now a tornado! Rainbow, he's a dangerous creature we need to stop!" She shouted, causing Dillan to cover his head with his hood, and hugging his knees to himself as his back was to the two ponies.   “He is a hurt man that needs our friendship!” Rainbow yelled back as tears filled her eyes.  Twilight groaned. "Rainbow! We don't know what he's planning! Why are you defending him!?"  “Because he has done nothing but help!” Rainbow yelled back.  "For all we know he planned all that so we'd let our guards down!" Twilight yelled. "Even after you said you felt a pulling sensation why would -" “I have that because I have a crush on him!” Rainbow yelled before her eyes widened and she covered her mouth. Twilight stared at her friend in shock, her mouth wide open as Rainbow glanced at Dillan worriedly who hadn't moved an inch. "W-what!? You just met him! And I thought you liked mares!"  “I do! I mean…I don’t know why…” Rainbow put a hoof on her chest. “I just…feel good when I am near Dillan.” Dillan glanced back at them, his eyes watching Rainbow as she glanced back at him as well. "Then let me do some tests! Something is clearly wrong! And it's all centered around Dillan! He's. Doing. SOMETHING!" “He isn’t doing anything other than being himself!” Rainbow yelled as she started to cry, and for a split second Dillan saw his fiancé. Dillan's body shook as his mind flashed back to that night as he felt his fiance in his arms. "A-alyssa…" he whispered softly, as he reached up to his chest and held a hand over his heart as he felt a pulling sensation.  Rainbow glanced over at Dillan, her own pulling sensation making her notice something was wrong. "Rainbow please! Even if you do have a crush and feel happy around him, this doesn't make any sense!" “Then call Cadence!” Rainbow yelled with a glare. “I thought she was the princess of love, not you!” Twilight growled softly. "Fine! I'm telling you something is wrong here. But he stays in the dungeon until she gets back!"  Rainbow walked over to the cell. “Then so am I.”  Dillan and Twilight turned to her. "No/ why!" They both said at once, making Twilight and Rainbow pause at Dillan's reaction.  Rainbow frowned and put a hoof on her chest. “I just feel it is where I belong…” Dillan sighed and walked over to the bars, kneeling down and reaching his hands through gently pulling Rainbow over to him. "Listen, Someone needs to look out for Scootaloo. It's just a hunch but from what I've noticed I don't think her step mom feeds her while her dad is gone."  Rainbow looked conflicted, her ears twitching as she looked at the ground. “I…” Twilight looked at the two with suspicion before she used her magic to pull Rainbow away from Dillan. "What are you planning!?" She shouted at Dillan, who looked back at Rainbow.  "You can always visit if you feel the need to." He said to Rainbow before smiling softly. "I'm sure I won't be in here that long."  Rainbow sighed and lowered her head. “Fine…but promise me you will be ok.” Dillan looked at her as his heart beat faster his mind going back to his fiance again with a blush appearing on his face. "O-of course."  Rainbow nodded slowly before pushing past Twilight. “If you hurt him I will never speak to you again.” Twilight looked shocked at Rainbow as she left, slamming the door shut behind her. The alicorn glared at Dillan as he sat down covering his face. "What the hell have I gotten myself into…" he said, brokenly as the tone of his voice made Twilight pause her angry onslaught.  “I…I will get my answers.” Twilight said weakly. Dillan nodded and sighed. "I want some too… I feel the same pulling sensation pulling me towards Rainbow. It took every fiber of my being to tell her to leave…"  Twilight narrowed her eyes. “Describe it.” Dillan sat back and sighed. "I don't know… it… it feels like how I used to feel with my Fiance… like I can be myself around her."  “Be yourself? So you put on an act around us.” Twilight said and took notes. Dillan raised an eyebrow. "Huh? Oh, no I… I don't know. It's hard to explain… I suppose I just… feel comfortable around her."  “I think it is easy, just tell me the truth!” Twilight with a frown. Dillan stands up. "I don't know The truth alright!? I don't know how to explain it I think I might have feelings for Rainbow dash but… but…" Twilight frowned as her ears perked. “But?” "But… I… I don't know…" he said sadly as he sat down with his back to Twilight. "I-i feel… broken…"  “You feel what?” Twilight asked as she got closer.  "Broken!" He said louder. "I feel… I don't know like I'm moving on too fast… l-like i-i'm betraying my fiance." He said as tears fell from his face.  Twilight was quiet, her face unchanging but her ears were twitching all over. Dillan stared out the window for a while as tears fell from his face with twilight looking at his back. "Please just… leave me alone."  Twilight sighed and slowly walked away, leaving Dillan alone. Twilight heard Dillan sob softly as she left the dungeons, a plan forming in her mind slowly as she looked forward, pausing for a moment as she looked back at Dillan for a moment. "what's going on...?
