"Sir, the drone was destroyed." A robot said to it's master, deep within a spaceship.
"I see… send three more to test this anomaly's abilities." Vilgax said, typing away on a large computer which sat snuggly next to a tall glass tube with wires and pipes stretching outwards from it's base and top.
“Yes sir, the first drone did send a recording and data, shall I modify the next three drones to be repaired for what was used against the first one?” The robot asked while showing its master the recordings from the first drone. It showed that the planet’s local habitants were capable of mana manipulation and that the anomaly is some sort of shapeshifter that could change species.
Vilgax hummed to himself and looks over the data, while typing on his computer. "Yes, and make sure they have mana canceling rays."
“Yes my lord.” The robot said before walking over to another console and worked on the drones commands. “The drones will be ready for launch in a few minutes.”
"Good, now start searching the multiverse for a genetic signature like my own. I have a plan." Vilgax said with a sinister smile.
“Yes sir, sending out a multiverse probe.” The robot said as the three drones and the probe were sent out from the ship.
A low evil laugh echoed through the ship, as the probes and drones flew off in different directions each one aiming for a target.
With Dillan
Dillan smiled softly as he landed on the steps of Canterlot Castle, trotting up to a guard who helped out a spear. “Holt, identify yourself.” The guard said with a sturn frown.
"Dillan, Princess Luna told me to come here for the night." Dillan said, tilting his head a bit. "or are those two not back yet?"
The guard raised an eyebrow. “They are back but I heard that the princess’ guest wasn’t a pony.”
Dillan sighed. "Normally yes but I have the power to transform, please just let them know I'm here. I don't look like anything any pony here would have seen so I didn't want to cause a panic."
The guard looked him over before stepping to the side. “Don’t cause any trouble or I will take you down.”
Dillan trotted past the guard with a small smirk. "Yeah ok." He thought to himself as he made his way to the throne room… only to end up lost. "Where the heck is it!?" He yelled mostly to himself in exaggeration.
He heard laughter from all around him. “Oh my, you are going to be so much fun.”
"If you're pranking me, I will get a scan of Discord and turn you into pigs." He said, rubbing his temple.
“A scan of me?” There was a flash of light next to him as a tall being made up of multiple body parts, the being smirks as he leans on Dillan with his elbow on Dillan’s head. “Now what do you mean by that?”
Dillan glanced around for a moment to make sure no pony was around, before he tapped his Ultimatrix and turned back into a human. A yellow beam flowing over Discord from his watch a second later. "That."
“Oh my a human! You are going to be so much fun!” Discord said with a grin.
"Just wait, thanks to this I can transform into a Draconequus." He said with a smile.
“Oh? Well if that's the case.” He reaches down and touches the ultimatrix before pinching the screen of the dial, then pulls out a mini Discord. “Don’t want this in there then.” He then puts the mini Discord into his ear.
Dillan blinked for a moment. "Alright then… time to see what I look like as a Draconequs!" He said before pushing down his Ultimatrix. In a flash Dillan's body was replaced with an assortment of different parts from different aliens, his right foot and leg being wild mutts, his left foot and leg being a long black scaly leg. His arms were that of a bony creature and crystal being, while his body was fuzzy like a ponies, with his head made of a blue cat-like being. "This is weird." Dillan said, looking at himself.
Discord flew around Dillan and hums. “Hmm not bad, not as handsome as me of course but not bad.” He said with a smirk.
"I'm sure Fluttershy agrees with you." Dillan said with a smirk back at him, before teleporting the two of them to the throne room.
Discord blushes plaid before huffing. “How would you know how she feels about me?”
"I'm from another dimension." He said before Celestia and Luna walked into the throne room and paused at the two draconequii.
“Another dimension, really? And how do you know that you were seeing my Fluttershy and not some other random Fluttershy?” Discord siad getting upset.
Dillan shrugged. "I don't, how about you ask her yourself?"
“And make a fool of myself? I think not. Now how about you show me what you can do, watch boy.” Discord challenges.
"You wanna fight?" Dillan asked arching an eyebrow as he returned to normal.
Discord laughs. “Oh goodness no, I want a chaos off!” He said, throwing his hands into the air as fireworks went off behind him.
Dillan shakes his head with a smile. "Nah, I'm not very chaotic."
“Oh don’t be so modest, I know humans are incredibly chaotic! Specially with how smart and stupid they are it's simultaneously! It's beautiful, earth is one of my favorite places to visit, if it wasn't for that darn kid keeping me away.” He said frowning at the mention of the boy.
"Kid?" Dillan asked.
“Yeah, some snot nose human with a fancy watch like yours. Kept calling me a ‘off world hater’ whatever that means.” Discord said.
"Oh wow, so we're in the twenty third dimension… really don't want to meet him…"Dillan said.
“Oh you know him?” Discord asked with a smirk and got ready to snap his fingers.
"I will turn into a Celestialsapien." Dillan said, making Discord freeze up.
“You wouldn’t.” Discord said but lowered his hand.
"Dude, I absolutely love your chaos and everything. But I just got here and I'm not in a good mood after fighting a giant robot." Dillan sighed, rubbing his temple.
Discord pouts but floats into the air. “Oh fine, but you owe me a chaos off later.”
"Dude, relax. It's not that big of a deal." Dillan said with a chuckle as he looked atlooked at Celestia and Luna. "Hi!"
“Hello Dillan, I see you have met Discord.” Celestia said.
"Yeah, he won't leave me alone about a chaos duel. After I scanned him." Dillan sighed as Discord started making a bunch of annoying things to bug Dillan.
“We see, well it is up to you if you decide to do it but I ask you do it away from my ponies.” Celestia asked.
"I don't want to!" Dillan whined.
The two princesses giggle a bit. “We are afraid once Discord gets an idea that he wants to happen he will not stop until he gets his way.” Luna said.
Dillan groned. "Anyway, the contractors are ready to start building my house."
“Ooo I could help!” Discord said with a grin.
Dillan blinked a bit. "You know… surprisingly that's not a bad idea. When the construction is down for the upper floor, think you could help me make a sort of basement? I plan on contacting the plumbers and they'll need a base no better than underneath my house."
“Plumbers? Please tell me you mean the pipe experts and not those boring orderly space cops.” Discord said with a pleading look.
"Sorry man, but these two charged me with keeping the planet safe from extra terrestrial pearls and I'm gonna need the plumber's help." Dillan said with a smile.
He groans and crosses his arms. “Fine but you have to do something other than the chaos off for me later.” He said.
"Like what?" Dillan asked, arching an eyebrow.
“I don’t know yet! I will think about it later.” Discord said with a huff.
Dillan shakes his head and looks to Luna and Celestia. "Would you mind showing me where I'm staying until my house is done? I wanna put my stuff down so I know where it is."
“Sure, I don’t mind. Luna, please keep the nobles busy.” Celestia said as she turned to leave the room.
"Sister, it is still day which means day court is still in session. It is thy responsibility." Luna said, furrowing her eyebrow. "Besides it was our idea for Dillan to stay here while his abode was under construction should it not be us who shows him his quarters?"
“True but I know how much you enjoy telling the nobles no.” Celestia said with a smirk.
Luna doesn't say anything, and just turns away. "Do as you wish."
“Aww poor Lulu is pouting.” Discord said before laughing and disappearing.
Dillan sighed and followed Celestia, who giggled at Luna's actions. “Were you able to get in without a problem?” Celestia asked.
"Well I disguised myself as a pony so the nobles wouldn't freak out." Dillan chuckled. "So the guard was suspicious."
“I see, well thank you for not upsetting the nobles.” Celestia said as they passed a few maids.
The maids look at Dillan in surprise as he spoke with Celestia. "Yeah well, I honestly didn't want to deal with the annoyance." He chuckled.
Celestia giggles a bit. “Yes, they can get on one’s nerves.”
Dillan nods. "Not only that, I'm sure they'd want something as 'exotict' as me as a pet and… no."
Celestia frowns before sighing. “I am afraid you are right.”
"Though since ponies have seen me it's only a matter of time before they find out." Dillan groned, rubbing his head.
“Yes, it probably is only a matter of time, especially since you'll be staying in the castle for a while.” Celestia said, shaking her head as they got to the living quarters of the castle.
Dillan nods. "Yeah, I get the feeling this is gonna be annoying."
“I am sure they won’t hurt you.” Celestia tells him and puts a wing around his shoulder.
Dillan chuckles as a noble who was walking past watched what Celestia was doing. "Well even if they tried I can use my Ultimatrix to get away quickly."
“True, although I do ask that you try not to hurt them.” Celestia said with a sigh. “As annoying as they are, they do have their purpose.”
"Not hurt them, you left ponyville before I used it but I have a form that's super fast." Dillan said smiling.
Celestia hummed. “I see, well I still ask that you not hurt them. They will use any excuse to turn us against you.”
"Yeah I know." Dillan said nodding.
Celetia comes to a stop next to a door. “This can be your room. It is normally reserved for any Minotaur ambassadors that visit but they haven't visited in a long time so I believe it should be fine for you to stay here for a while.”
Dillan nodded a little. "Sounds good, Um… I'd hate to ask but do you have chefs for cooking meat for when meat eaters visit? I um haven't eaten in a few days."
“Yes of course, we try our best to accommodate other species when they visit.” Celestia said, nodding her head.
"Thank god." Dillan chuckled a bit before a guard ran up to Celestia.
"Your majesty there's an intruder in the castle. A young colt no pony is able to understand." The guard said.
“Really? Interesting, let's go meet this colt.” Celestia said before looking at Dillan. “Would you like to accompany me?”
"Sure, my Ultimatrix has a translator function." Dillan said with a smile. "So I can help translate."
“Really? Wonderful! Memorizing so many different languages can be difficult, especially over a long period of time they all tend to blend together.” Celestia said with a smile and walked to where the colt was being held.
Dillan nods. "I've personally learned three, Spanish, French and German."
“Interesting, I don't know that many ponies outside of the linguistic studies that have learned more than one language.” Celestia said with a smile.
Dillan chuckles. "I learned them in school, I needed them to graduate."
“Really? Perhaps I should add multiple languages needed to learn in order to graduate college.” Celestia thought out loud.
"Well I only needed one, I just chose two more for extra." Dillan said with a smile as the two reach the throne room, noticing a small Colt with a black mane and white coat.
“This is him, your highness.” The guard said.
"Dónde estoy?" The colt spoke, confusing all the ponies.
“Hmm that sounds familiar but it has been so long since I've had to use another language.” Celestia said, rubbing her chin.
Dillan slowly walked over to the boy with a small smile. "Hola amigo soy Dillan, cual es tu?"
"mi nombre es tormenta cumulus." The colt said with a smile, obviously happy someone understood him.
"His name is Cumulus storm." Dillan said to Celestia.
“I see, can you ask him why he is here and how he got here?” Celestia asked Dillan.
"Por qué estás aquí y cómo llegaste aquí?" Dillan asked Cumulus storm.
"mi familia escapó de portimarioco, Mi familia esta atrapado por un deslizamiento de rocas. por favor ayúdalos!" Cumulus said in a clear panick.
"They escaped from portimarioco and his family got trapped in a rock slide." Dillan said. "donde?"
"en una cueva en el fondo, de la montaña en el este." Cumulus said.
"They're in a cave in the mountains in the east." Dillan said.
“Oh no, Dillan, would you mind taking a platoon of guards to help rescue his parents and anypony else trapped in the rockslide?” Celestia asked him.
Dillan nods,with a smile before looking at her. "Sure but considering you only hired me to take care of extra terrestrial problems I'm charging you extra." He laughed.
Celestia chuckles a bit. “You will be compensated but let's get ready please tell him that I will be sending some guards to help his family and anypony else that was caught up in the rockslide.”
"la princesa enviará ponis ayudar." Dillan said, smiling as the colt cried happily holding his hooves to his eyes.
“Guard get a rescue platoon ready to dig up a landslide and rescue as many ponies as we can.” Celestia told the guard next to them.
The guard nods, and instantly begins relaying the orders. Dillan smiles softly and turns to Luna who was watching this whole time. "Mind watching him?"
Luna nods her nod. “We shall do our best.”
Dillan nodded and looked to the Colt. "Quédate con ellos hasta que regresemos."
The colt nods softly, smiling still. Luna smiles down at the colt. “Hola pequeño, ¿te gustaría jugar un juego?” She asked in Spanish.
The colt nods excitedly, smiling as Dillan blinks with a smile. "Why didn't you translate before?"
Luna looks up at Dillan. “Because my spell had not finished till just now. Unlike my sister I've never memorized other languages.”
"Oh." Dillan said before blinking. "Wait so you're telling me that out of everyone in this throne room, including two princesses that meet with dignitaries… I'm the only one that can speak Spanish… or i suppose ponish here?"
“Well…to be fair most other places send somepony that speaks Equish.” Celestia said with a slight blush.
Dillan nodded before going with the guards ready to go help the colt's family. “Ma’am, sir, we are ready to depart.” The guard said with a salute.
"Let's go, the colt didn't say how long they've been trapped, we gotta hurry." Dillan said, nodding to the guards.
“Yes sir, the air balloon dock is this way.” The guard said and led Dillan away.
"I'm going ahead, meet up with me when you see a plume of flame shoot into the air." Dillan said to them, popping up his Ultimatrix and turning into fast track before speeding away.
“Wait sir…and he is gone…” the guard sighs before running to the airship.
Dillan zoomed around the mountains in the eastern area of Equestria, not able to find the cave right away as he saw the airship come out of a portal over a mountain and start to lower to the ground.
"Huh that's cool." Dillan commented.
Once Dillan got to the airship he saw the guards coming out of it. “Good to see you found us sir.” The guard from before said.
"Yeah that was an accident, I was just running around trying to find that rock slide but I can't find anything. Did you see anything from the air?" Dillan asked them.
“Yes, just behind these trees.” The guard said pointing behind the ship. “We will start surveying the area.”
Dillan nodded following the guards.They pass a few trees before seeing a village that is half covered in dirt. “This is a bad rockslide. Ok men start finding survivors!” The guard yelled as the rest of them rushed into action.
Dillan looked around for a bit before popping up his Ultimatrix and turning into wild mutt, much to the confusion of the ponies. “Whoa!” One of the guards said.
“Stay focused men, keep searching and you-” The first guard said before pointing at Dillan. “-if you can still understand me …help however you can.”
Dillan barked as his guils opened up on his sides and he ran over to a patch of dirt and started digging quickly. "Sir?" A guard asked. "what's he doing?"
“I think he found somepony, get some ponies here to help him now!” The guard yelled.
The guards rush over to Dillan as he pulled up a pink mare with a purple mane coughing. “Don’t worry Miss, we will get you and everypony else out.” One of the guards said.
"Thank you…" the mare said. "I heard screams and got caught in the rock slide when I tried to help."
“You tried to help, that is nice but we need to get you out of danger.” The guard said as two other guards took her over to a medical tent that just got set up.
Dillan barked at the guard leader as he reached into the hole and pulled out a pegasus mare with a small unicorn filly on her back, both having a light green coat with the adult mare having red mane while the filly had a red and pink stripped mane.
“Two more!” a guard called out as more guards came to help the ponies.
"la pierna de mi esposo rota por favor ayuda!" The mare said, pointing to the hole as Dillan quickly went back into the hole confusing the guards.
“What did she say?” One guard said to another.
“No idea.” The other guard said, shrugging and helped them to the medical tent.
The mare struggled a bit against the guards trying to get back to the hole. "mi esposo no puedo dejarlo!"
“Easy miss! We will make sure to save everypony.” The guard said, trying to stop her.
The group noticed a bright blue flash erupt from the hole, before Dillan slowly walked out with a purple Unicorn stallion with a lighter purple mane. "Get him help now, his leg is broken."
“Oh buck, we have a broken leg!” A guard said before a few guards came and picked the stallion up and took him to the medical tent.
The mare sobbed as she held her daughter who spoke up. "Mama? Where's Cumulus?"
"You speak equestrian?" Dillan asked the filly with a smile as the mother nodded.
"Husband taught us, me and my son aren't very good at it." She said, whipping her tears away.
"Oh, I see. Well it's thanks to Cumulus we found you. He told us about the rock slide… well he told me, they don't understand ponish." Dillan said with a chuckle.
The mare hugs Dillan. “I don’t know who or what you are, but thank you!”
"My name's Dillan, and it's them you should be thanking. All I did was find you." Dillan said with a smile.
“But they wouldn’t even know where we were if it wasn’t for you.” She said, still hugging him.
Dillan chuckles a little and hugs her back. "Alright, go be with your husband. I'll let the processes know you're alright."
She nods and runs over to the tent. “You are very kind sir.” The first guard said.
Dillan smiles softly. "I just did what I had to, I didn't want that colt to end up like me."
“Sir, do you know if there are more ponies trapped?” The first guard asked.
"Not that I saw, that form I took can see body heat. But it might be good to have ponies search for… deceased." Dillan said, looking down.
The guard nods and pats Dillan’s arm. “We understand, go calm the civilians we'll take over.”
Dillan nodded and walked over to the ponies he found. He saw them hugging together and felt proud he could make a difference.
Dillan turned around and was about to leave before the purple mare with a pink mane called out to him. “Please don’t go, we want to thank you for saving our lives.”
Dillan turned to the mare with a small smile on his face. "You’re Starlight Glimmer right?"
She pulls her head back. “Y-yes, how did you know my name?”
Dillan chuckles a little. "Ask Twilight and the others."
“Oh you know Twilight?” She asked, raising an eyebrow.
The human nods. "Yes, I met her yesterday, long story."
“Huh, I see, well thank you for saving us.” She said.
"No problem, Celestia is the one that asked me to." Dillan smiling softly at her. "You ran into the rock slide, your one brave lady."
“No, I am not brave.” She said, shaking her head.
"What do you mean?" Dillan asked.
“Well I was only passing through on my way to…our village.” She said, rubbing her leg.
Dillan nods slowly. "Right, I know all about that. You don't need to be bashful."
“Y-you know about that?” She asked with widened eyes.
"Yeah, long story." Dillan said smiling. "I'm sorry Sunburst and you had a falling out."
She lowers her head. “Y-yeah, but we worked things out.” she then looked up at Dillan. “It is very creepy you know so much about me when I know nothing about you.”
Dillan laughs. "Yeah, but not just you. The main six, the princesses, discord… I'll let Twilight explain." He said with a sigh. "But anyway, you can ask me whatever you want."
Starlight shakes her head. “No offense but I just want to leave this place.”
Dillan nods a bit. "Alright, when you're cleared to go you can ask Twilight about me."
She backs up a bit and lights her horn before disappearing in a flash of magic.
The human blinked a bit, shaking his head before he returned to the castle of friendship. “Dillan, you are back?” Spike said as he saw him pop up.
"Yeah, long story. Did starlight come back?" He asked.
“Maybe? I heard a loud boom from the map room just a few minutes ago.” Spike said.
"That's probably her. Me and some guards found her and some other ponies trapped under a landslide." Dillan said, sighing a bit.
“Oh man, well it's a good thing you did.” Spike said.
Dillan nodded with a laugh. "Yeah but then I explained what I knew about her and… she got weirded out."
“Of course she did dude, it's creepy.” Spike said.
"Yeah. I know." He said with a playful grin as he walked into the castle.
“So why are you here? I thought you were staying with the princesses.” Spike asked.
"To make sure starlight is ok." Dillan said.
“Oh ok, want something to eat?” Spike asked.
"No thanks little dude, I appreciate the offer though." Dillan said with a smile.
“Alright, have fun.” He said before walking away.
Dillan walked into the throne room, seeing Twilight and starlight talking about him. "So he knows about us from a TV show?" Starlight asked.
“Yes, it is quite strange.” Twilight said, rubbing the back of her head.
"Sorry if I freaked you out." Dillan said, startling the two.
Twilight puts a hoof to her chest. “Dillan you scared us.”
"Not cool…" Starlight said.
"Sorry, just came to make sure you're ok. You left before the paramedics said you could leave." Dillan said looking at Starlight.
She looks down and rubs her leg. “I am fine, I made a magic shield before the rocks and dirt could crush me.”
"Wait what are you talking about?" Twilight asked.
"Starlight was in a landslide." Dillan said, looking at Twilight.
“She was what!?” Twilight gasped and looked over Starlight. “Are you hurt?”
"No, like I said I put up a shield. The other ponies were a lot worse off." Starlight said.
“Are you sure you aren’t hurt?” Twilight asked.
"Yes, Twilight." Starlight said with a smile.
“Good, I don’t know what I would have done if you got hurt.” Twilight said with a sigh.
Starlight blushes a little, making Dillan smile. "You two are cute, but since everything is ok here I'm gonna get those ponies to Canterlot to their son."
Twilight and Starlight nod. “Alright.”
"Behave yourselves, there's a child in the castle." Dillan said with a smirk before heading back to Canterlot.
“Hey!” They said with blushes.
Dillan laughed a bit as he made his way outside, before turning into a pegasus and flew back to the castle for the night.
