"Um… is she gonna be ok?" Dillan asked, pointing in the direction Rainbow went. "She did just go through overheating or whatever you called it."
The others groaned before Fluttershy flew after her. “I got her.”
Dillan chuckles a bit. "Going off without thinking...reminds me of home…" he said looking down.
“Is something wrong?” Twilight asked.
"No, just… sad memories now." Dillan said with a small smile. "I know you guys are probably busy so I'm gonna go to Sugar cube corner. Tell Rainbow she can meet me there if she wants to hang out since she shouldn't be working."
Twilight nods her head while Pinkie walks up and smiles at him. “How about an extra sweet chocolate cake on the house?”
"I'm gonna get diabetes." Dillan commented with a smile and a shake of his head.
Pinkie tilts her head. “What's that? A new kind of sweet?!”
"No Pinkie." Dillan chuckles. "Diabetes is a disease humans can get from eating too many sweets."
Pinkie gasps loudly and her eyes widen in horror. “What!? B-but how do you know when too much is too much?! Oh my gosh did I already give you too much!?”
Dillan chuckles and shakes his head. "Relax." He said holding up his Ultimatrix before frowning. "I remember a rumor of these watches being able to detect diseases… Ultimatrix scan user for any Diseases." He said, waiting a moment before the ultimatrix beeped.
"No diseases detected."
“Oooo that's neat.” Pinkie said, leaning closer to it. “Hello talking watch!”
Pinkie's ears droop a small amount when it doesn't respond. "It only talks when I ask it a question or order it to do something it isn't alive." Dillan informed her.
“Oh like that mean bug thing that blew up?” Pinkie asked.
"Kinda…" He responded as they started walking. "It's hard to explain something like that because there are machines that are alive and ones that aren't…"
“Oh, kind of like how my sister’s pet rock is alive?” Pinkie asked.
Dillan blinked multiple times. "Bolder is alive?"
Pinkie nods her head. “Well duh, why else do you think Mud talks to him all the time.” Pinkie said before bouncing ahead, making ‘boing’ sounds.
Dillan shakes his head a bit, before catching up to Pinkie. "Wait can you hear bolder talking too?"
“No, Bolder only talks to a few ponies.” Pinkie said. “I heard him once but that was when I was a filly.”
Dillan blinks a few times. "Huh, that's really cool I guess… I wonder if I could get a scan of him…."
“Like how you scanned the princesses and the girls?” Pinkie asked.
"Yeah, then I could transform into… something. If he's a rock he doesn't have traditional DNA so the scan of him would probably mix with my natural DNA making a hybrid." Dillan said, opening the door to Sugar cube corner for her.
Pinkies zips behind the counter and smiles at Dillan. “Welcome to sugar cube corner, may I take your order?”
Dillan laughs a little, while looking around. "How did this place get cleaned up so fast?" He asked as he approached the counter.
Pinkie just winks at Dillan. “That's my secret. Your order?”
The human chuckled before looking over the menu. "Um, just some peanut butter cookies please."
“Coming right up!” Pinkie says before digging into her mane and drops a few bits into the register and then hops into the back. “Take your seat.”
Dillan smiles a little and sits down, staring out the window noticing Rainbow dash was slowly making her way to Sugar cube corner. "Hey Pinkie! Mind making that an order of shakes too? Rainbows on her way!"
“Okey-dokey loki! But you gotta pay.” Pinkie calls out from the kitchen.
Dillan hummed a bit. "You take gems? From outer space?"
“Gems are accepted here but less often than bits, and I was speaking to Dashie.” Pinkie yelled out of the kitchen.
"She's not here yet." Dillan said with a chuckle. "It was gonna be my treat."
“Okey-dokey!” Pinkie called out.
Dillan sighed a bit and transformed into a large red red crystal alien and made a few small shards before turning back, not paying attention to the ponies staring at him. "Hey Pinkie is this enough gems?"
She pops up on the other side of the table covered in flour, before lifting one up, looking it over she sniffs it, licks it and then nibbles on it. “Yeah one of these will easily cover a meal for ten.”
Dillan covers his mouth to try and not laugh as multiple ponies gave Pinkie disgusted looks. She then ducks back under the table and sounds of cooking continue coming from the kitchen.
Dillan collects the rest of the crystals and sits back down as Rainbow trotted in. "Hey Dashy." He said.
“Hey we may be cool but you haven’t earned the right to call me that yet.” Rainbow said in a huff.
Dillan smiles a bit at her. "Yet?"
“Well yeah, we are friends so eventually you'll be cool enough to use my nicknames.” Rainbow said.
"Alright, ya read that book yet?" He asked, gesturing for her to sit across from him.
“No, I was trying to get to work but Fluttershy stopped me and demanded I rest for the day.” Rainbow said.
"Yeah sorry, I kinda commented on how you ended up overheating… but hey at least you won't get any sicker." Dillan said with a smile as Pinkie came over with cookies, Rainbows favorite milkshake and a chocolate shake for Dillan.
Pinkie giggled a little at the two. "You two look like you're on a date."
Rainbow blushed and took her milkshake. “We aren’t on a date, Pinkie.”
Dillan takes his milkshake and looks away, not commenting as he thinks about his family. "I know silly, I'm just kidding."
“Nice looking cookies.” Rainbow said before stealing a few off of Dillan’s plate.
Pinkie giggled a bit more as she skipped away, making Rainbow confused as Dillan munched on a cookie. "You're not allergic to peanuts right?" He asked Rainbow.
“Of course not, I wouldn't have taken these if I was.” She said with a smirk and took a bite out of one.
"Just making sure." Dillan laughed a bit. "When I first met my fiance I accidentally gave her peanuts when she was allergic, so now I'm overly cautious about any food allergies."
“Oh man, she must have been so mad after that.” Rainbow said with a laugh.
Dillan smiles a bit and looked out the window at the sky again. "Yeah she was… I felt so bad I did everything I could to make it up to her."
“Oh? Like what?” Rainbow asked.
"Apologizing every chance I got until she finally slapped me upside the head." He chuckled. "That's nothing compared to before we dated though, she tried so hard not to seem like she liked me, even asked me if I could date anyone from our school who'd I pick. She said one girl's name, her name in a sly manner and then another girl's name."
“I am not normally into this mushy stuff but you have my attention, what did you say?” Rainbow asked.
Dillan smiled. "I said and I quoted after a moment of thinking. 'honestly? You. I don't really know anyone else in class and well… you're amazing.' we had been hanging out and we sat next to each other in class for a few years so I had a crush on her… I was completely honest even though I could tell she was trying to get me to tell her anyway." He chuckles a bit.
Rainbow rolls her eyes but has a smile. “That was too mushy.” She said with a laugh.
"Sure it is." Dillan said with a small smile, biting into a cookie. "Hows Tank?"
“How do you…oh right the show. He is ok, just hibernating for the winter.” She said.
"Ah, sorry you can't spend time with him." Dillan said with a small smile.
“We will hang once he wakes up.” Rainbow said with a smile. “I am sure he will like you.”
Dillan smiles softly. "I'm sure I'll like him too… I wonder if I should get a pet, but I'm not sure I'd have the time."
“Well I am sure Fluttershy could find you a pet that wouldn’t need too much of your time.” Rainbow siad before suddenly they heard slurping of an empty cup. When they look over they see Pinkie sitting at the table watching them and sucking from an empty cup.
"Yeeeess?" Dillan asked arching an eyebrow.
“Don't mind me, I am just watching.” Pinkie said with an innocent smile.
Dillan and Rainbow glance at each other confused before looking at Pinkie. "Are you watching us talk?" Rainbow asked.
Pinkie nods her head with a goofy grin. “I love watching two ponies fall in love.”
Dillan and Rainbow blush a bit as Dillan looks away. "Pinkie!" Rainbow said, shaking her head. "He just lost his family!"
Pinkie’s ears folded down as she slowly lowered her head. “Yeah but now he can start over. And he doesn’t have to forget them, just move on and find a new spark.”
"Pinkie… it was only a few months ago…" Dillan said sadly, getting up and walking out the door.
"Pinkie…" Rainbow sighed and shook her head.
Pinkie sinks down in her seat. “I’m sorry, I was just trying to help.”
"Pinkie we just met, come on we were just talking." Rainbow rolled her eyes. "You and me talk all the time and we talk to our other friends, does that mean we're all in love with each other?"
“No but something told me you two would click.” Pinkie said before getting out of the seat.
"I appreciate it, Pinkie, but that would have been for us to decide and besides." Rainbow said, standing with a small smile as well. "I'm not looking for a relationship right now."
“But what about when you and-” Pinkie starts before Rainbow puts her hoof in Pinies mouth.
"First of all, we broke up. Second of all, if we were still dating, why would you try to get me and Dillan together?" Rainbow asked.
Pinkie shrugs her shoulders. “Who am I to judge your dating life?” She asked.
Rainbow sighed, shaking her head. "Ok, I'm gonna go talk to Dillan. See if he's ok, I'll see you later pinkie." She said before leaving the shop.
“Please tell him I’m sorry.” Pinkie said as her mane went flat.
"I'm sure he knows you didn't mean it Pinkie." Rainbow chuckled before she flew off.
The multicolored pony flew back to Twilight's castle, thinking Dillan had gone there since his bag was there. "Hey Rainbow." Twilight said, spotting her friend when she walked in.
“Hey Twi, have you seen Dillan?” Rainbow asked, panting a bit before landing.
"He came and got his bag and walked out. Why is everything ok?" Twilight asked, looking at her friend with a frown.
Rainbow sighed. “Pinkie said some things that I think upset him.”
"Pinkie did?" Twilight asked skeptically. "And you didn't?"
Rainbow frowned at Twilight. “I know better than to talk about dating to somepony who just lost their family.”
"Wait what?" Twilight asked. "pinkie said that?"
Rainbow groans and rubs her temple. “She was watching me and Dillan talking and said we look good as a couple or something. Dillan got up and left.”
Twilight blinked a few times and rubbed her chin. "I can see both points."
Rainbow groans. “Not you too.”
The alicorn giggled a little. "Sorry, couldn't resist. Dillan is probably feeling upset since his family died not that long ago. He's probably just wondering around town."
Rainbow frowns a bit. “Should we give him space?”
"That's probably best, though I do know ponies have done things to themselves during times like this, I wonder if humans are the same…" She said tapping her chin, worrying Rainbow.
“I’m looking for him.” Rainbow said before running off, not even flapping her wings.
Twilight blinked in confusion for a moment before she gasped at the realization of what she said and galloped after Rainbow. "Whoa! Twi what's going on?" Applejack asked, as Rainbow and Twilight galloped passed her
“We are looking for Dillan to make sure he doesn’t do anything to himself.” Twilight said.
"Wait what?" Applejack asked her, following behind. "What happened to make ya think that?"
“Pinkie said something that made him think of his family.” Rainbow said as she ran through the town.
"Ah shoot, if ah knew that ah wouldn't have let him leave!" Applejack said. "He told me he wanted to check out white tailed woods!"
Rainbow dash instantly took off into the sky and off it is the direction of white tailed woods. "Rainbow! You're supposed to be resting!" Twilight yelled after the mare.
“Ah’ll follow on the ground, you fly after her to make sure she doesn't fall out of the sky.” Applejack said before putting ‘out to lunch’ sign up on her cart. Then she took off running towards white tailed woods.
Twilight nods and takes off after Rainbow, accidentally bumping into Fluttershy. "Oh Fluttershy I'm sorry!"
“What's wrong Twilight? You rarely fly.” Fluttershy asked.
"No time to explain, we need to find Dillan. He went into white tailed woods." Twilight said, before realizing Rainbow was gone. "Oh no! I lost Rainbow! Shoot!"
“Rainbow is flying? That's dangerous!” Fluttershy flew higher into the air to look for her friend.
"She's looking for Dillan, Pinkie said some things about those two looking like a cute couple or something and… well it reminded him of his family." Twilight said, looking around more.
“Oh no, poor Dillan.” Fluttershy said while looking around, then she gasped. “I spotted her!” She said pointing at a blue blur.
"Let's go, if she falls it'll be bad!" Twilight said, before the two took off after Rainbow. The two noticed Applejack on the ground with Rarity and Pinkie, who's mane was completely flat as she cried a bit.
“Pinkie?” Fluttershy said as she landed next to her friend.
"I-i didn't m-mean it…" Pinkie whimpered, tears in her eyes. "i-i just thought he could u-use a fresh start…"
“It’s ok Pinkie, I am sure he knows you didn’t mean anything, let's find him.” Fluttershy said.
Pinkie nods a bit as they all gallop in the direction Rainbow had gone, finding their rainbow headed friend watching something from the trees. “Rainbow! Do you have any idea how rec-” Fluttershy starts but Rainbow cuts her off by shushing her.
"It's Dillan." She said, gesturing to the human who was sitting on a tree branch overlooking a small lake as he strummed a small ukulele.
Dillan began to sing a small tune to himself-or so he thought- while looking down at a pendant that was wrapped around the ukulele. The human looked over the lake while continuing to sing, a small smile on his face with a few years running down his face.
The mares watch and listen to his song as they also start to tear up and cry trying their best to stay silent.
Dillan continued to sing looking up at the sky as he finished the song. "I miss you all." He said, holding the pendant close.
To the group's surprise Rainbow gently flew up to Dillan, gently tapping his shoulder. "Rainbow?" He asked, raising an eyebrow. "What's up?"
The rest of the girls slowly walk out of the bushes, some still crying, others seeming ashamed that they were spying.
Dillan smiles softly. "I'm guessing you all thought I was gonna do something stupid?"
Moat of the girls look away and rub the back of their heads.
Rainbow nods a bit. "S-sorry, we um… we just."
"It's cool, after Sugar cube corner I just needed to be alone." He said with a smile. "Did you hear that song?"
They all nod their heads. “It was a beautiful song.” Applejack said.
"It's from a movie called The Lion King 2 Simba's pride." Dillan said smiling. "It's the sequel of a movie and movies are basically really long tv shows."
The ponies giggle a bit as Rarity says. “Darling we have movies and movie theaters.”
"You do?" Dillan asked. "and you didn't know what a TV show was?"
“Well to be fair it is rather expensive to make movies and film them.” Twilight said.
"Oh, I guess that makes sense. Humans have just gotten good at making-" Dillan said as Rainbow cut in.
"Hold on, we came here to make sure you're ok. And now we're getting off topic. Are you sure you're good?" She asked him, making the others giggle a bit.
"Yeah, I guess this is why you're the element of loyalty huh?" Dillan asked with a smile.
“Of course I'm the element of loyalty but stop changing the subject.” Rainbow said, stomping her hoof.
"Ok ok!" Dillan said, sweat dropping. "I promise I'm-" he started, before noticing Rainbow was panting heavily and sweating. "Rainbow, you're overheating again."
“That…that doesn’t matter, you ran off upset, I needed to make sure you are o-” she starts before passing out.
Dillan catches her as the others gasp. "She needs to cool down!" Twilight said, before Dillan set Rainbow into the shallow cold water of the lake as steam literally flowed off her. "Jeez Rainbow, I appreciate the concern but if you were this sick you shouldn't have flown." Dillan said with a small smile.
“We need to get her to the hospital as fast as we can.” Fluttershy said as she flaps her wings, pushing air towards Rainbow.
Dillan nods and pops up his Ultimatrix. "I got this." He said before he pushed his watch down, turning into a blue cat like creature. "Fast track!" He yelled, picking up Rainbow dash bridal style, before vanishing in a blue as a blue streak is left behind.
“My goodness he is fast.” Rarity said.
“Come on y’all, we gotta get to the hospital.” Applejack said.
Twilight's horn began to glow before she teleported them all back to ponyville, just to see a blue streak go into the hospital. The five mares quickly ran into the hospital to see Fast track talking to a doctor as he looked at Rainbow dash. "Good job getting her temperature down, we'll keep her here a few days to keep an eye on her." The doctor said as Nurse red heart took Rainbow to the back.
“Boy howdy that form of yours is darn fast, Twilight here teleported us, and you almost beat us here.” Applejack said.
"Fast track is actually the slower of my two speed transformations… once I unlock the second one." Dillan said as he turned back to normal.
“That is the slower of them?” Rarity asked surprised.
Dillan nodded. "yup. The other one is called XLR8 and it can go at full speed around the world in a few minutes…. Or so I've heard… I may be wrong."
Applejack chuckles a bit and shakes her head. “Never let Rainbow hear that or she’ll be back in the hospital.”
Dillan nodded with a smile. "Yeah, we don't need that. Seriously I appreciate the concern and all but seeing as you guys just met me she should have just let you look for me."
“Now sugar that just ain't how Rainbow is. When someone that she knows is in trouble she'll do anything she can to help them even if it means hurting herself.” Applejack said.
Dillan smiles a bit, nodding his head. "Yeah, she sure is stubborn… I'm probably gonna be meeting a lot of different versions of you all if I became what I think I have."
“What do you mean?” Twilight asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Back in my world there are stories called displaced where humans get items from a convention or off the internet and get sent to different versions of Equestria." Dillan said. "I think I'm a Displaced, and displaced can meet each other and go to each other's worlds through items called tokens… my life has become a big ball of amazing insanity." He chuckled.
“Fascinating, would you mind explaining how you make these tokens, and if our world is in any danger from these displaced?” Twilight asked while taking out a scroll and quill.
"That's… a loaded question. Displaced people are just people like me, they can have different personalities and have good and bad days like anyone." Dillan said.
“I suppose that's understandable.” Twilight said, writing that down.
"She's awake." The doctor said walking back out of the back.
“Oh good, we should check on her. Dillan, do you want to answer Twilight's questions or join us?” Rarity asked as she and the others started walking back to Rainbow's room.
"Her questions can wait for now, after all we have plenty of time and a friend always comes first." Dillan said with a smile.
Twilight sighed and followed. “You're right, but you promise to answer my questions later?”
"Of course." Dillan smiles as the group walked to the back and to Rainbows room.
“Hey girls, you gotta break me out of here!” Rainbow siad as soon as she saw them.
"I'm not a girl." Dillan said walking in behind the group with a friendly smile.
Rainbow rolls her eyes. “I didn’t see you yet.”
"Anyway, you got overheated twice. Don't take it lightly." Dillan said, crossing his arms.
Rainbow sighed and laid back in the bed. “Yeah yeah, I know I bucked up.”
Dillan smiled a little, as Twilight and Fluttershy both scolded the pegasus. "Girls leave her alone, she was just worried about me."
Rainbow blushes a little and looks away. “Of course I was worried you're my friend.”
Dillan chuckles a little. "I didn't mean anything Rainbow, thanks for worrying so much…" he said before smirking playfully. "Even though it did seem a bit excessive for someone you just met."
Rainbow huffs and rolls her eyes as the rest of the girls giggle.
"I just realized how weird my life has gotten." Dillan commented. "In less than a day, I saved three children from becoming popsicles, met some of my favorite fictional characters from my world, destroyed a giant robot, raced the most awesome mare in equestria." He said making Rainbow blush a little. "And saved the same mare twice… if every day is like this I'm gonna have gray hair when I'm forty."
“Oh you shouldn’t worry about that, I doubt things will happen like this every day.” Rarity said.
Dillan looks at her. "You girls literally fought something every day until Twilight became an alicorn. Considering the show showed her first winter wrap up and then her second was after she was an alicorn."
The girls look at each other before Twilight says. “Things aren’t that bad.”
"Yeah but then add aliens." He said holding up his Ultimatrix.
“I think you're overreacting darling.” Rarity said with a giggle.
Dillan sighs and rubs his head. "Yeah, I just don't want anyone to be hurt and to lose… anyone."
“Don’t worry sugar cube, you won't lose any of us.” Applejack said.
"W-well I kinda meant like if something happened to any of you your families would be sad and well
…" He started before pausing. "Thanks."
The girls give Dillan a hug, except Rainbow as she is still stuck in bed. “Relax Dillan, we will be fine. We are big mares and can take care of ourselves.” Twilight said.
Dillan chuckles. "Sorry if it seemed like I was treating you like fillies."
“I suppose we kinda do look like them, compared to your size.” Fluttershy said.
The human chuckled once again. "Only a little."
“Well we are fully grown, and know when we have to run. So you don’t have to worry about us.” Applejack said.
“Run? Yeah right, we will kick anyone’s flank that tries to take over our world!” Rainbow said, while punching the air.
The group chuckles softly to themselves as Dillan stared at Rainbow with a smile while shaking his head. "Just like Alyssa…" he thought to himself.
"What are you looking at?" Rainbow asked, noticing Dillan staring. "Do I have something on my face?"
"Oh no you just remind me of someone is all." Dillan said.
Rainbow raised an eyebrow but shrugged. “I am pretty awesome. So what are you gonna do for the rest of the day?” She asked Dillan.
Dillan shrugged. "No clue, if I don't take it easy I'm probably gonna be scolded." He said, glancing at Fluttershy. "So I may just bum around here and chat with you or something."
“What about your house?” Rainbow asked. “Don't you need to meet the contractors?”
"Luna said that would take a couple days, it's only been a few hours." Dillan said with a shrug.
Rarity coughs into her hoof. “I do believe she meant it would take a few days to build. Knowing the princess she probably has some contractors already on their way to Ponyville.”
Dillan blinked a few times. "Huh, I guess I should go meet them. If princess Luna wasn't so adamant about helping me I probably would have just used my crystal-like Alien to make a house out of crystals."
“Darling, a house made of crystals may sound nice but unless it is made right it can be dangerous.” Rarity said.
"Well it would have been more like an Indian tent where they sprout from the ground into a tent." Dillan said, making a triangle tent with his hands. "Also, I have a question for you all."
“What’s that Dillan?” Twilight asked.
"Do you girls want a rare crystal?" Dillan asked, already handing one to Rarity. "I paid for food at Sugar cube corner with these but I have some extra, they're gems from outer space so they're really rare here."
“Oooo!” Rarity was excited and already examining it.
“From space?” Twilight asked as she looked it over.
“Oh my, it's so pretty.” Fluttershy said.
“It is a fancy looking gem.” Applejack said.
“Ooo shiny.” Pinkie said.
“Eh, it is a shiny rock…but it's cool.” Rainbow said.
Dillan chuckles. "It's called tatenite. It's an extremely valuable mineral that most species in the Galaxy would pay millions for. These are even rarer red tatenite… wait how do I know that?" He asked himself as he looked down at the ultimatrix. "Oh right, data dump."
“Data dump?” Twilight asked.
"Yeah whenever I transform into an alien my Ultimatrix gives me the knowledge of their abilities. I already knew about regular tatenite so when I transformed into my crystal alien I learned about red tatenite since it's made of it."
“Wow, that must be extremely useful.” Twilight said and wrote that down.
"Yup." Dillan nodded.
A nurse comes in and smiles. “I am afraid you all need to give Miss Rainbow some time to rest.”
"Alright, oh and Rainbow remember to read that book." Dillan said with a smile as the girls began to leave.
“Yeah yeah, don’t do anything cool without me!” Rainbow called out.
Dillan chuckles and waves as they all leave the hospital. “Let’s go back to my castle and see if the contractors have arrived.” Twilight suggested.
"Sure, I was actually thinking of building my house near that lake-" Dillan said before pausing. "I'll be right back." He said turning into fast track again and dashing away, before coming back with his bookbag. "I forgot I left this there." He commented.
“Darling, should you really be using that for such things?” Rarity asked.
"Hey at least I'm not using it for pranks like the original user did." Dillan said with a chuckle. "And I didn't want anything to happen to it… this is all I have left of my world…"
Pinkie hops onto Dillan’s back and hugs his back and head.
"What's this for?" Dillan asked with a chuckle.
“I am sorry for upsetting you, and you need a hug.” Pinkie said.
Dillan smiles a bit. "Pinkie it's cool, don't worry about it."
“You still need hugs.” Pinkie said before hugging him tighter.
The human smiles softly and continues walking. "Pinkie I said it's cool."
“I also like it up here.” Pinkie said with a giggle.
"Ya like being tall huh?" The human asked, tilting his head to look at Pinkie.
She giggles and nods her head. “Yep! It's super duper fun up here.”
Dillan smiled and shook his head. "your gonna have to get down or else you'll hit your head on doors."
“Awww.” Pinkie hops down and walks along with everyone.
The girls laugh and soon they get to Twilight’s castle and see a group of ponies in construction uniforms. “Oh they must be the contractors Luna called for.” Twilight said.
The group of construction workers notice the group. "Hello Princess Twilight, we're here to discuss the house that Luna requested to be built." The oldest stallion said, obviously the leader.
“That would be for our friend here.” Twilight said, pointing at Dillan.
Dillan waves a bit. "Ah I see, I would like to discuss with you what you're looking for." The stallion said.
"I'm pretty basic; um three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a living room." Dillan said. "And a basement."
“Alright, and I'm assuming as your dimensions are different from us ponies, you will need specific changes to your house to ensure comfort.” He said as one of the pegasie flew over to Dillan and started measuring him.
"Well seeing as I have no clue how you build houses, it just needs to be… I guess the same distance between my head and the ceiling should be my height’s equivalent of what you do for a pony." Dillan said. "and um… do you have running water here?"
They look at Dillan like he said something stupid. “Of course we do mister…” The head contractor said.
"Well how am I supposed to know?" He asked, rolling his eyes. "The bathroom isn't exactly what they're gonna show in the show."
“Show?” The head contractor asked before shaking his head. “The Princes also paid for furniture, what type would you like?”
"Um… no clue. What kinds are there?" Dillan asked.
He listed off a few kinds of furniture and the prices, after some thought Dillan told them what he wanted was simple and sturdy. The contractor nods his head and writes it down on a clipboard. “Alright, colors you'd like for the interior and exterior?”
"Well seeing as it's gonna be in white tailed woods, a log cabin is fine for me." Dillan chuckles a bit.
“Alright, how many windows would you like? Any skylights, or sky entrances for a pegasus?” He asked after writing down something on his clipboard.
"Um, two windows in each room, a skylight in the living room and I guess a sky entrance… in the skylight if that's possible?" Dillan asked.
He nodded and wrote that all down. “Alright, anything else? Anything your species needs specifically?”
Dillan thought for a moment. "Um I may need a custom… toilet made."
He nods and points at a stallion unicorn pony. “Talk to him about that, if you can draw how it works then we can make it.”
Dillan pulled out his phone and showed them a picture of a toilet. "Glad I didn't delete this after my fiance had the new toilet put in."
The stallion nods and draws it. “Right, sir, do you need more than one bedroom?”
"Just one personal bathroom and one for guests." Dillan said with a small smile.
“Alright.” He wrote that down. “Last question, how big of a backyard and frontyard do you want?”
Dillan smiles softly. "Well there's a lake and a lot of trees, so I was hoping whatever trees you use to build my house. However far that goes would be my property. Or maybe a bit farther so I can practice my abilities."
“Alright sir, we should be finished in a day or two.” He said making some notes. “There will be a few challenges but it's a pretty simple house.”
"Thank you." Dillan nodded. "I'm sorry about the trouble."
“Trouble? Kid, we are getting paid to do this.” The head contractor said with a chuckle.
"Dude I'm nearly thirty years old, there's no way I'm a kid." Dillan laughs a bit.
“So? I am getting close to forty.” The stallion said with a chuckle and put the clipboard away. “Where will you be staying until we finish?”
"According to princess Luna Canterlot castle." Dillan said with a sweat drop and a smile.
“I see, well we will be sure to let you know when your home is finished sir.” He said then he and his team got to work.
Dillan nodded a bit, before looking at the girls. "I guess I'd better head to Canterlot… maybe I should turn into a pony so the nobles won't go crazy… er."
The girls giggle and smile. “Probably a good idea darling.” Rarity said.
Dillan popped up his Ultimatrix and smiled before turning into a pegasus stallion with a slick black mane and light blue coat, his Ultimatrix on his flank. “Whoa!” Applejack said before lowering her hat.
“Oh my.” Fluttershy said before hiding behind her mane.
Twilight adds some notes to her paper as she looks him over. “Fascinating.”
“My dear! Darling, you look fabulous!” Rarity said, and Pinkie just giggles.
Dillan chuckles a little and has a devilish smirk. "Wanna know something fun?" He asked as Twilight nodded. "my Ultimatrix turns me into the apex vision of what I become… which means I am literally the perfect pony right now, no diseases max stamina everything."
“Wow, that is amazing!” Twilight said with excitement and she wrote it down.
Dillan smirks as he glances at the blushes on the other mare's faces. "You're lucky you're so into studying." He chuckled before flying away to Canterlot.
“Aww I wasn’t done asking questions.” Twilight said with a pout, her friends giggled and patted her back.
