//------------------------------// // Chapter 1-Rains // Story: A Rainy Day in Ponyville // by Creativa-Artly01 //------------------------------// It was a rainy, coal black night when everything changed together. As the rain continued to fall in raging bullets outside, Twilight and Trixie were busy in the library reading a book of ancient spells together. All of a sudden, Twilight hears a noise. "Did you hear that?" asks Twilight. "No, I didn't hear anything. Stop being paranoid, Twilight," replied Trixie. "Anyhow, it could always just be Starlight wandering the halls." "Maybe, but it didn't sound like pony hooves walking down the hall," replies Twilight as she turns back and continues to read the book with Trixie. As the rain continues to pour down outside, Twilight begins to grow more and more paranoid. Eventually, she gets way too paranoid and throws the book she and Trixie were reading right into the wall. "Ugh! I can't get that noise out of my head!" screams Twilight. "Make it stop!" She then runs into her bedroom and flings herself onto her bed and covers her head with her pillow trying to block the sound out of her mind. "Twilight. Come to me, Twilight. Twilight. Come to me, Twilight." whispers the voice in her head. "Twilight. Come to me, Twilight. Twilight. Come to me, Twilight. Come to your destiny!" "Who are you?" says Twilight angrily and confused. "I am the originator of planets and the guider of fate. I make my home in the Everfree Forest, but no one can see my face. I'm not of any breed. I'm not one with a body. Meet me in the forest at the peak of midnight." Twilight replies, "okay." Around midnight, Twilight leaves the castle and enters into the rain. As she walks, the rain pounds against her back up until when she reaches the Everfree Forest. Once she arrives in the Everfree Forest, the rain stops falling around her. "I'm here!" hollers Twilight into the darkness and the blackness. "Hello Twilight," whispers the voice, "It's good to see you. I've been watching you." "How do you know me?" asks Twilight. "Come closer and I'll tell you," replies the voice. Twilight walks closer into the forest and the voice soon reveals itself. "You're you're not a pony," says Twilight in shock. "What are you?" "I'm a guardia destina," replies the voice, "the guardian of destiny and fate." "What do you want with me then?" says Twilight puzzled. "I'm sending you on your next mission. Your mission is to stop an evil unicorn named Prismia Prisma. She's back once again with plans to take over the world." "But I thought Cadence stopped her several years back?" replies Twilight puzzled. "No, Cadence stopped Prismia Prisma's mother, Prisma Prisma, now her daughter wants revenge on you and the rest of the princesses." Twilight rolls her eyes. She agrees to take the mission and flies out in search of Prismia Prisma. She could've sworn it was this pony that Cadence had stopped and defeated already but clearly, the voice seems more knowledgeable on the subject so she's just going to do as the voice has commanded her. A few minutes later, Twilight returns back to her castle and the morning daybreak song of the phoenixes. She smiles as they sing before she turns into bed for the night. As she sleeps, she listens to the daybreak song of the phoenixes. The Phoenix she hears at the forefront is Philomena singing from her perch outside Celestia's bedroom at the royal castle in Canterlot. The rest of the sound she hears is the pitter patter of rain outside. The voice in her head is gone for now at least, but she knows it will be back soon enough.
