Chapter 6: To Canterlot High and Back (Part 2)

Canterlot High School, Planet Earth?

For a moment, Jason and his team had at least managed to bridge things between the two schools as they all gradually opened up about themselves minus the Power Ranger and Rita bits.

Then like a cruel twist, Abacus Cinch stepped in and put the fun on permeant hold as the leader of Crystal Prep looked at Jason’s group and wondered who they were.

“Just who are these five? And what are they doing here?” Principal Cinch asked.

“Oh, they’re from out of town and they’ve decided to come watch these games.” Sunset Shimmer said quickly.

Principal Cinch seemed to buy it as she then looked at Jason’s group one last time before she spoke her mind as unknown to anyone, Rita was secretly watching from the shadows along with her minions.

“Very well then, these five outsiders will see that when it comes to the Friendship Games, Crystal Prep is always superior to Canterlot High.”

Trini then spoke, “If they really were, then how would they fare against a real challenge like Rita Repulsa and her minions Putty Patrollers and her giant friend Goldar?”

Before Principal Cinch could answer Trini’s smart ass remark, Dean Cadence stepped in and managed to defuse the situation before it got out of control as from the shadows, Rita snickered a bit at Trini’s remark.

“That’s right…yellow, only the Power Rangers or power punks could come close to challenging me…” Rita said to herself quietly.

With that done, the games were to begin as Dean Cadence announced the first event; the Academic Decathlon in which the Power Rangers watched as the Wondercolts won the Home Economics and Spelling Bee by just one word while the Shadowbolts on the other hand won in Chemistry and Woodshop.

It was during these events that Billy noticed that anytime the human counterpart of Twilight Sparkle got near the human counterparts of the Human 5 as Zack called them, they appeared to be tired after talking to her.

Just before the final part of the decathlon started, Billy got the team together to discuss something that had Sunset Shimmer being roped in as well.

“Uh guys, have any of you noticed that anytime that the counterpart of Princess Twilight Sparkle talked to the human counterparts of the ponies we’ve met back in Equestria seemed tired or something?” Billy asked.

“Like as if they’re drained of energy or something?” Trini said with a curious look.

“I noticed myself while that version of Twilight was near the portal to Equestria, the portal seemed shut.” Sunset Shimmer said.

Jason looked at her and spoke, “Are you serious? That means we won’t be in contact with either Alpha 5 or Zordon…”

“Then that means we have to face Rita without their help.” Kimberly said.

Nodding, they all went to watch the final part of the decathlon as Rita eyed the device that Sci-Twilight had with a growing hunger from the shadows before leaving before Principal Cinch saw her.

Then, the final part of the academic decathlon ended with Sci-Twilight winning, but for a reason there was a part that Kimberly didn’t like, Sci-Twilight didn’t receive any thanks or cheers for winning prompting her to go to the Crystal Prep student.

“Hey that was pretty good.” Kimberly said.

“Thanks…” Sci-Twilight said quietly.

Seeing that response, Kimberly motioned her teammates to give her a round of applause that lifted her mood a bit much to the rest of the Shadowbolts surprise as Billy spoke to her.

“You know, you would make a great friend for anyone at Canterlot High…and future scientist in great areas including aerospace.”

“Thank you um…” Sci-Twilight said.

“Billy Cranston, Ms. Twilight or as kids would once call me Billy-Crayons-a-lot…”

Jason stopped Billy and spoke, “She doesn’t need to know about that part Billy the crayons part…no offense…”

“None take Jason…” Billy said with a smile.

Sci-Twilight then decided to leave the area to get some air with her dog Spike that popped out of her backpack as she left with her dog while Trini followed her to see if she saw Rita or her minions during the academic decathlon.

“Hey Twilight wait up!” Trini shouted.

“What do you want?” Sci-Twilight asked.

“To talk about yourself as I’ll do the same for you…” Trini replied calmly.

As they walked and talked about themselves, a bit of the magic from Sci-Twilight’s amulet leaked out and touched Spike who in Trini’s eyes was the same color as Spike, but as a small dog that all of a sudden, Spike the dog began to talk.

“Twilight, what’s going on? Why can I suddenly talk?”

Sci-Twilight freaked out while Trini looked amused as she had seen stranger things than that before Trini could think, the two females heard Principal Cinch coming to them and Sci-Twilight gave Spike her dog to Trini and told her to hide.

While Trini hid, she used her Power Coin to record what Principal Cinch was saying to Sci-Twilight. What she heard was Cinch was urging Sci-Twilight to spy on the Wondercolts and their out of town friends or lose the Everton scholarship.

As soon as Principal Cinch left, Trini came out of the locker she was in and went to Sci-Twilight and spoke to her quickly as Spike the dog comforted the Crystal Prep student.

“Don’t listen to that witch Twilight, she won’t get away with it as I’ve recorded her actions and will present it to those who are in charge of this school district.”

Sci-Twilight spoke, “How?”

“It’s a secret I can’t tell, but my Power Ranger friend the Yellow Ranger will ensure that lady like I said won’t get away with her actions.” Trini said.

After helping Sci-Twilight to her feet, Trini left to rejoin her teammates with Sci-Twilight and her dog following her as soon enough the next event was about to start; the Tri-Cross Relay as everyone headed to their spots.

“Um, doesn’t this look a bit overkill?” Sunset Shimmer asked.

“You and me both…” Billy said.

With that taken care of, the Tri-Cross Relay was set to begin as Rita from the shadows saw a chance to cause some mischief and chaos and quickly spoke to her Green Ranger.

“My Green Ranger, I have a task for you…”

“What is my empress?” Twilight asked.

“Go and make some chaos…” Rita said darkly.

While that was in motion, the Tri-cross relay started with Applejack and Fluttershy competing against Sour Sweet and Sci-Twilight as Sour Sweet scored a bull’s-eye right away while waiting impatiently for her teammate to finish.

Fluttershy on the other hand had a bit of trouble, but scored enough to let Applejack to take her turn as seconds later, Applejack scored perfectly that signaled their teammates Rarity and Pinkie Pie to start the second part of the Tri-Cross Relay which was the Speed-Skating round.

While Canterlot High got a head start, Sci-Twilight on the other hand was having a bit of trouble due to her not being an athlete causing Sour Sweet to curse at her.

“You suck! You know that?!”

Jason seeing it stepped in front of Sci-Twilight and glared at her for that remark before he then looked at the rest of the Shadowbolts and seeing the lack of support from them, he decided to speak up.

“Hey now, what are you all five or something? She’s a teammate and the job of any team is to work together and if someone needs help, the rest of the team is supposed to help in a good, constrictive way as being a former member of my schools football team would let me know how.”

“But we are helping!” Indigo Zap shouted.

“Helping being a jerk and being a mean bunch of selfish jerks is what we see you pack of arrogant jerks…” Kimberly said seconds later.

Then Applejack stepped up to help Sci-Twilight who gave a nod to Jason and Kimberly that she had it handled and spoke to the student of Crystal Prep.

“Don’t listen to those jerks, just relax and focus and you’ll hit it…”

After a few more bits of advice, Sci-Twilight hit the target flawlessly, but at the same time drained Applejack of her magic as with the Speed-Skate round, Sunny Flare and Lemon Zest were able to catch up despite their opponents getting a head start.

On the other hand, Rita had picked the perfect spot to cause trouble with her Putty Patrollers as she then commanded her Sirens to cause a bit of trouble with success with the bit at the archery part while she waited for her Green Ranger to move.

While the Green Ranger was about to pounce, Pinkie Pie and Rarity were able to the surprise of everyone were able to win, but by just a whisker of luck.

It was then that the final round of the Tri-Cross Relay was about to start; the Motocross Race. Sunset Shimmer and Rainbow Dash got on their bikes that were of the colors of their school as did their opponents Sugar Coat and Indigo Zap with theirs as well.

Just seconds after the relay started, Rita signaled her Green Ranger to start causing trouble as at the same time, the device Sci-Twilight had begun to open up rifts to Equestria and out came tentacle-like creatures.

Before Principal Celestia, Vice Principal Luna, Dean Cadence, and Principal Cinch could move, all of a sudden the door behind them opened and they all saw the Green Ranger or Princess Twilight Sparkle in all of her infamy.

“Who the heck are you?” Vice Principal Luna asked.

“You’re all finished! Empress Rita will rule all including your world! Long live Empress Rita!” Twilight shouted.

Twilight then delivered a punch to Principal Cinch causing her to fall out of the box she and the others were in as the Green Ranger soon had kicked the rest of them out with a powerful sideswipe kick with her left leg.

This didn’t go unnoticed by Jason and his team who decided it was time to morph and after quickly heading to a group of porta potties, they all morphed though some heard the shouts, but assumed it was them needing to use the bathroom badly.

“MASTADON!”

“PTERDACTYL!”

“TRICERATOPS!”

“SABER TOOTH TIGER!”

“TRYANNOSAURUS!”

Then the Power Rangers emerged from the Porta Potties to fight as they forced the Green Ranger away from the four adults as seconds later, Rita appeared on the race track with a sinister smile at all four racers before she then slammed her staff into the ground causing Indigo Zap to go flying into the air while forming Putty Patrollers at the same time prompting Rainbow Dash to pony-up and save her.

Sunset Shimmer on the other hand tried to morph, but found out she could not for some reason as she kept on racing and trying to avoid the Putty Patrollers that were trying to stop her and Sugar Coat.

On the other hand, Jason was busy dealing with the Sirens who were giving him no easy time as they had him out numbered as the rest of his team were focused more on the Putty Patrollers and the vines that had appeared out of the blue.

Jason tried to get to his team, but was cut off by Sonata who unleashed a sonic scream at him causing him to stumble back and barely stopping an attack by the other two Sirens.

Kimberly on the other hand was busy shooting the vines that had appeared out of magical pockets while supporting Rainbow Dash who was trying to get everyone away as the rest of her team battled the Green Ranger and the Putty Patrollers.

The Green Ranger seconds later unleashed a blast from her Twin Swords of Darkness that sent Zack, Billy, and Trini backwards with the intent of finishing them off, but Billy summoned his weapon and blocked the blades.

“Twilight listen! You’re a Power Ranger! A hero! Not a bad guy!” Billy shouted.

“Shut…up!!! Empress Rita saved my life and I intend to follow her will as my way of thanking her!” Twilight shouted.

“But she’s only using you for your power!” Billy shouted seconds later.

Twilight the fired a magical shot sending Billy back and tried to rush him, but the blue ranger jumped up and used his double lance to deliver a double kick sending her back before he charged up and unleashed a blast to send her flying into the archery range.

“This isn’t over!” Twilight shouted as she retreated.

With the Green Ranger dealt with for now, Billy then turned to help Jason as did Zack as the three male Power Rangers were able to help Jason with the three Sirens as Trini moved quickly to slice and dice the vines that were appearing at an alarming rate with her Power Daggers.

Kimberly was busy with the vines and the Putty Patrollers as to her relief, she saw the Sirens retreating thanks to the efforts of Jason, Billy, and Zack who then all tried to go after Rita who was causing chaos in the area, but she fled the battle seconds later forcing them to help with the Putty Patrollers.

Sunset Shimmer was then knocked off her motorbike as was her opponent seconds later thanks to a pair of Putty Patrollers, but then Zack and Billy appeared to deal with them quickly and Zack quickly spoke up.

“You two, run now!”

Sunset Shimmer didn’t need to be told twice as she got back on her motorbike and finished the race thus winning the Tri-Cross Relay followed by her opponent.

A Timber Wolf then appeared to try and eat the leader of Canterlot High and Crystal Prep, but a few shots from Kimberly’s Power Bow prevented that from happening as Kimberly looked at them and spoke quickly.

“Get out of here now!”

Then as quickly as the Vines and Putty Patrollers appeared, they all then vanished into thin air as the portals to Equestria then sealed up mysteriously much to the relief the Power Rangers and their allies.

The Power Rangers were relieved that everyone was still in one piece and Billy went to see how Indigo Zap was when the Crystal Prep student swatted his left hand away in anger.

“Hey now, what was that for? We just saved your lives!” Billy shouted.

Billy was about to retorted when Zack appeared and told him not to bother as they both saw Sunset Shimmer walking towards Sci-Twilight not looking happy prompting them to go after her.

“What were you thinking?! What are you trying to do? Get everyone killed?” Sunset Shimmer asked in anger.

Sci-Twilight looked ashamed and spoke, “I’m sorry, but all I want to do is to understand all of the strange energy surrounding the school.”

“What you should do is not to-“

Sunset Shimmer didn’t finish when Jason’s left hand gently touched her left shoulder making her look at the red ranger as the rest of the Power Rangers appeared as Jason spoke to her.

“Listen, if you want to help us and Zordon and your former mentor, what you need to do Sunset is to keep you anger controlled as we’re just as mystified of how those vines appeared that had nothing to do with Rita.”

“You’re right to be mad at her, but it won’t do you any good.” Trini said.

Billy then looked at Sci-Twilight and bent down a bit as in ranger form, he was a bit taller than her and spoke to her in a very gentle tone that he hoped would put her at ease.

“Now then, what is that amulet? I’m just curious that’s all and it could help with understanding why the White Ranger Coin can’t connect with the Morphing Grid.”

“Morphing Grid?” Sci-Twilight asked.

“It’s a thing that allows the Power Ranger to morph into their Ranger form to fight evil and such as when Rita tried to drown me, my Power Coin sensing I was endanger preserved my brain function that left me in a state like how that one dude from the Princess Bride was saying which his this; Only mostly dead or I was barely alive and it took the energies from the Morphing Grid to save me even though my team’s mentor Zordon wanted to use it for himself, but after seeing my teammate’s determination to stop Rita Repulsa you saw earlier with that gold staff, he used to save me and the rest is history.” Billy said.

Billy then gave Sci-Twilight a hug carefully as did the rest of his teammates one by one to help Sci-Twilight calm down and after thinking about for a bit, she agreed to help them out.

As they all walked together with the rest of the Human 5 or the human counterparts of the ponies the rangers had met, Rainbow Dash’s powers got drained by the device Sci-Twilight had that no one didn’t notice.

Jason stepped forward and Principal Celestia looked relieved to see the Power Rangers helped save them though Principal Cinch had other ideas and walked towards the red ranger before she spoke at him.

“Canterlot High cheated with your help!”

Jason was taken back by this accusation as to him and his team, it sounded like Principal Cinch was being a very ungrateful bastard along with the rest of her school as far as he knew, and they were trying to save them all from the Green Ranger and Rita as he then spoke to the Crystal Prep leader.

“Miss, that is a wild and false accusation as the Power Rangers were not helping either school and more or less was trying to save your ungrateful hides from Rita Repulsa, those Sirens, the Green Ranger, and those Putty Patrollers.”

Principal Celestia then spoke, “Agreed as they were all more focused on helping us instead of helping either school win this completion. If this is how the Friendship Games are going with students at risk of getting hurt or killed, then we need to end them here and now so it’ll end in a tie.”

Instead of agreeing, Principal Cinch snarled and looked at Sci-Twilight with a hateful glare and spoke to the human counterpart of the pony the Power Rangers were trying to save.

“And you…you attack your principal and dean? I….”

Kimberly interrupted and spoke, “What? Jump to conclusions by thinking Twilight or at least this version is the Green Ranger? I’m sorry, but you’re being an arrogant bully Ms. Cinch, There are two problems with your theory, one she isn’t a fighter and two she doesn’t have the Green Ranger Coin on her like what my team and I do.”

“Besides, have you ever heard of the doppelganger?” Billy asked.

“And if you try and harm her, you’ll have to go through us you big bully…” Jason said as he stepped in front of Sci-Twilight.

Vice Principal Luna and Dean Cadence soon joined in and voiced their objections to have the Friendship Games continue as it was ¾ against the games continuing in contrast to only ¼ of them agreeing.

Despite the objections, Cinch had her way leaving the Power Rangers in disbelief at how to the leader of Crystal Prep, her hubris and legacy were more important than the lives of her students.

The Power Rangers decided to protect Sci-Twilight in the meantime from her ungrateful and jerkish classmates and keep an eye out for more trouble.

A few hours later, Rita was not to be found much to the relief and worry of the Power Rangers and Sunset Shimmer who was talking to the team of how she accidently broke a handrail just a few minutes ago.

Never before had the Power Rangers been in their ranger forms for this long as they were trying to be ready in case Rita and her allies came back for a second round.

The final event of the Friendship Games was Capture the Flag in which each school hid a banner belonging to their respective school and the objective was who found the first banner before other team, would be the winner.

In the corner for Canterlot High, Sunset Shimmer apologized to her teammates for letting the magic from Equestria come through despite the fact that her teammates didn’t blame her.

On the other hand, Crystal Prep decided in an act of stupidity and in a spirit of deadly hubris that they would cheat, but with magic and trying to morph like the Power Rangers.

Sci-Twilight felt the gaze of everyone look at her demanding she show the device that she had on her so they could ‘morph’ and win the games.

Just as Sci-Twilight had now shown everyone including Principal Cinch her device that had been collecting magic throughout the games before they could all force her to open it, it was suddenly yanked out of her hands by none other than the Green Ranger aka Twilight Sparkle of Equestria as Twilight then glared at the Shadowbolts and shouted at them one thing.

“I’ll take that for my Empress Rita!”

She then jumped up and away from the crowd where Rita’s evil chuckle was soon heard as everyone saw the evil sorceress herself in all of her darkness once more on top of Canterlot High in her battle armor minus the facemask as the Green Ranger handed her the device that had just been taken from the Shadowbolts.

“Hey! Give that back!” Indigo Zap shouted.

“It’s our edge that we need to win the Friendship Games!” Lemon Zest shouted seconds later.

Rita then spoke, “Oh? You dumb fools trying to cheat at a petty thing like a sporting event when clearly you were against it earlier? And trying to morph into power punks when clearly none of you are worthy? How cute...”

Seconds later, Rita jumped down and stood up causing many to back away from her in fear. Principal Cinch did something that everyone around her were trying to talk her into not doing; confronting Rita.

“Excuse me-“

The corrupt leader of Crystal Prep didn’t get to finish when Rita whipped around and decked her in the head with her staff weapon sending the principal to the ground as Rita then pressed her left foot against Cinch’s neck as Rita then spoke to her.

“So, you’re the leader of Crystal Prep huh? Then would you kindly tell me where is Angel Grove so I can find my Zeo crystal? Or do I have to kill your students one by one until I have what I want? Oh wait, you don’t care about them do you? They’re all nothing, but expendable fools! Fools that you only see as a means to your own ego like me! You think your precious cannon fodder can beat me? NEVER!!! Besides, even if they ‘tried’ to become rangers, they would never stand a chance as….I’ve………killed….…rangers…before….and I liked it!”

Then just as Rita was beginning to drain the device that Sci-Twilight had, a shot rang out and it was from Zack’s battle ax that was in gun mode as the rest of the Power Rangers arrived on the scene having disappeared for a moment to try and contact Zordon with no luck with the device flying through the air and landing near Sunset Shimmer.

“Hello Rita, miss us?” Billy said.

“Well now, get them my Green Ranger! And get my device!” Rita shouted seconds later.

Twilight nodded and brought out her Dragon Dagger and played its tune to summon the Dragonzord as the Power Rangers saw the giant creature appear beyond the town limits and stared its march towards Canterlot High.

On the other hand, Rita turned her attention to the rest of the Shadowbolts whom Lemon Zest tried to punch her only for Rita to break her right arm and send her flying away.

Rita then proceeded to easily wipe the floor with the rest of the Shadowbolts by then grabbing the next Shadowbolt close to her that unfortunately being Sour Sweet who was smacked into the bleachers in front of Canterlot High injuring her.

Sugarcoat tried to run, but Rita stabbed her lower right leg and then punched her away easily as Sunny Flare was soon sent flying backwards thanks to Rita’s staff firing a bolt of energy before her staff knocked her out quickly.

That left only Indigo Zap to face the evil sorceress who was enraged at what Rita had done to her fellow Shadowbolts and tried to rush her, but Rita saw it coming and got out of the way before using her staff to send the Shadowbolt to the ground making her groan in pain as Rita stood over her.

Turning her attention to the others nearby students and staff of both schools as Rita gave them all a slasher smile as she was about to speak only for Dean Cadence to speak or rather shout at her for what she did.

“You…MONSTER! YOU’LL PAY FOR THIS!!”

Rita smirked and spoke, “Ha, try and stop me!”

While this was going on, Principal Cinch chose to run rather than face Rita head on only for the Dragonzord to stand in her way as the mechanical beast stared at her before it’s finger tips produced missiles that were aimed at her making the leader of Crystal Prep freak out and run the other way back.

As the missiles fired, Rita effortlessly punched away Dean Cadence before using her staff to knock way Principal Celestia and Vice Principal Luna before she used her staff to bind everyone including a running Principal Cinch to a wall of Canterlot High using the metal from the bleachers.

However, something wasn’t right for Rita as when she did a quick head count, she found the counterparts to the ponies her Green Ranger faced were missing along with Sunset Shimmer angering her.

“WHERE ARE THE OTHERS?!” Rita shouted.

Hiding nearby, the human counterparts of the Main 6, Flash Sentry, and Sunset Shimmer were hiding and trying to figure out how to beat Rita as when she began her attack, they all ran away from her after seeing she was too strong for them.

“We need to fight her!” Rainbow Dash shouted in hush whisper.

“No way sugarcube! You saw what she did? She’s too strong for us!” Applejack said.

On the other hand, the Power Rangers were dead-locked in their fight against the Green Ranger as Trini caught the twin Dark Swords of Evil with her Power Daggers before she kicked her away to get some distance from her.

Billy then tried to use his blaster in sword mode to sneak up behind her only for him to get a back kick to the face for his troubles as Twilight tried to stab him, but Billy blocked the stab as he spoke to her.

“Snap out of it Twilight! You’re just a pawn for Rita!”

Zack then appeared and spoke, “He’s right! You’re not a servant of Rita! You’re a Princess of Friendship!”

Kimberly fired a few rounds from her Power Bow to try and even the odds only for Twilight to deflect them back and send her to the ground as Jason and Zack stopped her as Billy got Trini away.

“You have to listen Twilight! You’re one of the most wonderful and kind folks out there anywhere! You’re better than this!” Jason shouted.

“I don’t…CARE!!! The Traditionalists saw me as evil, then I decided I would be evil!” Twilight shouted with a furious and hurt tone.

In the midst of all this, Rita eventually found the rest of the students hiding from her, but to her shock and anger, Sunset Shimmer was nowhere to be found.

“Where is that device?!” Rita shouted with fury.

“Away from your unclothe hands you ruffian!” Rarity shouted.

Rita snarled at having to do everything around the area as she then grabbed Fluttershy and held her by the neck before she brought the high schooler to her face and spoke to the group near her.

“Tell me where that device and that White Ranger Coin are at or I’ll kill her!”

Nearby, Sunset Shimmer was hiding behind the motocross track after her friends convinced her to go and make a run for it just seconds ago and hand the two objects to the Power Rangers.

However, she saw that Fluttershy and everyone was in danger as three familiar faces appeared; the Dazzles or Sirens who she clearly now saw were working for Rita as evident by their new battle armor.

With that in mind, Sunset Shimmer decided to do something most would never do in this situation; walk towards the danger instead of running way towards not only the Dazzles, but also to the Dragonzord, Twilight Sparkle while in her Green Ranger form, and her master Rita as the former student of Princess Celestia then spoke up with determination.

“You are not going to destroy this place! I may not have had the best start for coming here, but I will not let you both harm these folks any longer!”

“Oh? How are you going to do that Bacon-hair lady?” Rita asked rudely.

Sunset Shimmer then showed the device that this world’s version of Twilight Sparkle had and pulling out her Power Coin, she took a deep breath and spoke one thing she never thought she would say.

“It’s morphing time…”

Merging the two objects together, Sunset Shimmer held the object in the air and called out the virtues of the Elements of Harmony as white light started to surround her as the magic connected her to the morphing gird.

“What makes Equestria and Friendship strong are Honesty! Laughter! Kindness! Generosity! Loyalty! And most of all, Magic! All of these things you fail to understand Rita along with the Dazzles and I will stop you and your Green Ranger! I will also stop those Dazzles as well!”

Despite Rita firing an energy and magical blast to try and kill Sunset with the Dazzles doing the same, a white light enveloped her to protect her she began to morph just like the Power Rangers did when they first morphed as a team as many were blinded by the white light as soon enough, it died down and in Sunset Shimmer’s place, a new Power Ranger stood.

The outfit that Sunset had resembled the outfit the Power Rangers had, but it was mostly white with the boots and lower arms sporting gold bands as did the upper arms, the chest piece was mostly black with gold on the top part with a glowing diamond on the chest part though it had the emblem of a tiger’s paw in it, her belt had her Power Coin nestled perfectly with a golden belt, and her helmet was molded after a tiger in the colors of gold and white.

To complete the outfit, Sunset had a gun similar to the one that Jason and his team had, but it was gold and white that was in a holster on the right side while the left side had some type of sword that had a tiger’s head for the bottom of the hilt. On top of that, her outfit had a pair of golden-white angel wings on her backside as she glowed a bright and warm orange glow.

Rita could only stare in jaw-dropped silence as did the Wondercolts, the Shadowbolts, Principal Celestia, Vice Principal Luna, Dean Cadence, the Human counterparts of the Main 6, the Power Rangers, the Dazzles, and the dog version of Spike.

Even Principal Cinch nearby was in stunned silence as seconds later, Rita found her voice again that spoke of only one word to sum up her reaction to this event.

“HOW?!”

Sunset Shimmer then spoke, “I am the White Ranger! I fight for good and will destroy all those who worship evil’s power!”

Rita then summoned Putty Patrollers to stop the new ranger, but then Sunset Shimmer pulled out her blade and began to slice and dice the rock creatures apart while flying through the air as at one point, she decapitated several at once without any effort.

A few did try to stop her as one smacked her to the ground and tried to smash her head in only for Sunset to roll out of the way, but barely as she then kicked in the groin to get some distance from it before she then pulled a Superplex maneuver on it taking it down before moving on.

She then tackled Rita as the two then tumbled away from the trapped students and faculty of the two schools as on the other hand, Twilight had enough of the Power Rangers and used her flute to get the Dragonzord to fire at the heroes so she could deal with this new ranger.

The missiles knocked away the Power Rangers as Twilight then went to deal with the White Ranger only for Rita to order her to stop and let her deal with the White Ranger.

As Sunset Shimmer and Rita locked weapons with each other, Rita decided to ask Sunset Shimmer why she a Power Ranger was given the title despite her past deeds towards others as former Green Ranger spoke to her.

“Why do you fight for these fools? You were like me once! Craving for power, desiring everyone to bow to you!”

Sunset Shimmer then spoke, “I am nothing like you! I didn’t kill my teammates nor did I betray them like how you did yourself! I did once crave power, but a pony named Twilight Sparkle showed me the error of my ways, the very pony you are using like a pawn! Let me tell you a little advice; my…past…is…not…TODAY!”

She then kicked Rita away before she then let Rita run at her before she then tripped her, grabbed her, and flew into the air with her before flipping Rita upside down and sending her into the ground knocking her out of the fight.

Rita then got up and spoke, “This isn’t over White Ranger! You haven’t seen yet what I can do fully!”

Moments later, she then called on her staff and zapped the Dazzles with the power of her staff as she then spoke a command very loudly and clearly as the trio of Sirens grew into monstrous forms as she fled the area for now.

“Make my monsters grow!!”

Seconds later, the Dragonzord joined them as Twilight rode on top of the Dragonzord’s head. The Power Rangers soon joined Sunset Shimmer as Billy looked at the four creatures and spoke.

“Uh guys, how do we deal with this?”

“I have an answer…”

The voice belonged to the sword of Sunset Shimmer as they all saw the tiger head on the blade was talking confusing everyone as the hilt spoke again, but this time to Sunset Shimmer.

“Hello White Ranger! I’m Saba the talking White Ranger saber! For your problems, summon the White Tiger Zord and you will have a chance to beat back these creatures!”

“Sounds good to me! I summon the power of the White Tiger Zord!” Sunset Shimmer shouted.

Sunset pointed Saba into the air and the sword summoned the Tiger Zord that appeared beyond the edge of the town Canterlot High and Crystal Prep, roared into life, and charged towards where its master was calling it.

Back at Canterlot High, everyone soon heard the Tiger Zord appearing as second later, Sunset Shimmer leapt into the air and landed on the head earning praise and cheers from her peers.

“Yeah!”

“Go White Ranger! Kick their asses!”

On the other hand, Jason and his team decided to help the students and the faculty of the two schools as with their combined strength, they freed them all as Kimberly spoke to them all.

“Get somewhere to safety! The Power Rangers will handle things from here!”

Sunset Shimmer on the other hand was busy dealing with the Dazzles and the Dragonzord as they all fired at her, but missed the Tiger Zord as Sunset Shimmer then saw it was time to head inside.

In her cockpit, Sunset Shimmer then placed her saber in a holster near her left side as unlike her new fellow Rangers, she stood up in her cockpit rather than sit down though she still had the same link the other Rangers had in their zords.

“Tiger Zord! Convert to Warrior mode now!” Sunset Shimmer shouted.

Within seconds, the zord began to transform into Warrior mode as the zord’s legs twisted and folded in different places as the arms transformed into human-like arms while the head folded downwards stopping at the chest as a head the appeared before it then turned its tail into a sword.

Landing, the zord stared down its opponents as the trio of Dazzlings now in monster form stared at her as Angelo decided to speak first to Sunset.

“Ready to fight Sunny?”

Sunset Shimmer than commanded the Tiger Zord to move forward only for it to suddenly start falling on its face, but thankfully it was prevented by her correcting herself quickly as the Megazord arrived to help her fight.

“Oops, forgot this is my first time piloting a zord like this.” Sunset Shimmer said.

The monstrous form of Sonta went first as she flew forward only for the Megazord to move out of the way, grab it, and pull the Superplex move on her before knocking her out cold.

Aria tried next, but this time Sunset Shimmer was ready as she used the sword of her zord to deliver a fury of slashes causing her to be wounded and fall onto the dirt race track.

Adagio then tackled the Tiger Zord before the Megazord could do anything only for her to suddenly be hit with a fury of shots from the Tiger mouth of the zord knocking her away along with the rest of her fellow Dazzles much to the annoyance of the Green Ranger aka Twilight Sparkle who responded in anger as she spoke up.

“Do I have to do everything around here?!”

Using the Dragonflute, Twilight made the Dragonzord a blast of energy that sent Sunset Shimmer out of her zord and onto the ground that also caused the Megazord to split into five zords again as she then used it seconds later to fuse all three Dazzles into a monstrous three-headed dragon.

“There’s got to be another way!” Sunset Shimmer shouted.

Then Saba spoke, “Try to combine zords with yours to create the Mega Tiger Zord!”

Concentrating, Sunset Shimmer was able to get the Mastodon, Triceratops, Saber Tooth Tiger, and Pterodactyl zords to get back up while the Power Rangers in them wondered what Sunset Shimmer was up to.

“Rangers! The only way we can defeat the Dazzles is to form the Mega Tiger Zord!” Sunset Shimmer shouted.

“Sounds good to me! Let’s do it!” Trini shouted.

Then the Triceratops and Saber Tooth Tiger zords came in and formed the lower legs while the Mastodon zord split apart so it could form the upper arms and torso body armor as finally, the Pterodactyl zord landed on the lower right arm to form a hook-like device on the tool as the zord head formed that looked like an armored knight.

The Power Rangers found to their surprise that they were all in one cockpit together as Billy and Zack sat below Sunset Shimmer while Trini and Kimberly were on her left and right side respectively.

“This is a lot different than the other formation!” Billy shouted.

Jason on the other hand was having his hands full as he kept dodging shot after shot from the Dragonzord as he soon managed to score a few hits on the rogue Zord while at the same time, saw the Mega Tiger Zord.

“Whoa, what will Zordon think of next?” Jason said to himself.

On the other hand, the monster that was the Dazzles fired three blasts at the new Megazord formation, but it kept on moving forward as it then punched it multiple times with its tool on the right arm before it delivered a double kick to send it flying.

“Can’t you idiots do anything right?!” Twilight shouted.

Before the three-headed Siren Dragon could move, the Mega Tiger Zord activated it’s finishing move; it fired a crossbow-like energy blast from the spot where the Pterodactyl rested that resembled the creature in a three-shot deal at the creature.

“Say goodnight!” Kimberly shouted.

The shots then hit true as the creature crackled with energy and fell down creating a massive explosion that didn’t affect anything aside from the rest of the Friendship Games obstacle courses as Rita’s control over the Dazzles shattered instantly resulting in them being returned to human form while being knocked out at the same time.

One thing that was left was the Dragonzord as the Mega Tiger Zord saw that Twilight had just smacked Jason into the area behind Canterlot High and moved quickly.

It then merged with Jason’s Zord that caused the following to happen; the Tiger Zord shuffled so it formed the lower torso and upper legs of a new Zord as the Tyrannosaurs formed the upper body while the Mastodon formed the arms while the Pterodactyl formed the head as the rest of the Zord became a bit more bulky.

The cockpit configuration was the biggest change as all of the Power Rangers sat in one cockpit together with Jason, Billy, and Zack on the top row while Trini, Kimberly, and Sunset Shimmer sat on the bottom row with the former student of Celestia sitting in the center between the two female Power Rangers.

They then stared down at their opponent; Twilight and the Dragonzord while Rita just snarled at the loss of the Dazzles and decided to let her Green Ranger handle it.

“It’s just you and us Twilight…” Jason said.

“No it’s just me!” Twilight shouted.

Billy then spoke, “If it comes to this, then one shall stand…one shall fall…”

The Dragonzord then charged forward determined to knock the new Megazord off its balance, but this time the Power Rangers were ready as they got out of the way and delivered a kick to its back sending it to the ground.

Not deterred, the Dragonzord got back up and fired missiles from its fingers, but it got a surprise as the Megazord summoned as shield that resembled the Mastodon’s head though Zack wasn’t in it due to his position being shifted.

The Megazord then intercepted a tail whip done by the Dragonzord as the heroes then started to twirl the rogue zord around like a heavy ball attached to a chain a few times before sending it flying into the parking lot of Canterlot High destroying a bunch of vehicles including the buses for Crystal Prep.

“Oops, we broke their buses…Crystal Prep’s that is…” Billy said.

Ignoring it, the Power Rangers saw the Dragonzord get back up as they decided it was time to end it and deployed their swords that to their surprise merged into one long, silver blade that pointed out to the bottom and had a black hilt.

“Power Sword! Charged and ready!” Jason shouted.

The Megazord moved the blade in a counter-clockwise direction with the blade pointed up as it arced with power and rainbow-like energy as it then delivered a downwards slash before adding two more slashes, but were at side angles as they all hit the Dragonzord with an EMP-like effect as at the same time, Rita was also hit as well.

Her Alicorn amulet cracked and then shattered like glass before it sent her flying into the statue and froze her into a statue as she was sent not to Equestria, but to Unicornia that was unknown to the Power Rangers.

For Twilight while she was inside the Dragonzord while that was going on, Twilight was feeling like she was being shocked her connection to the Dragonzord was severed and was ejected from her zord as it fell backwards onto a Track and Field area of Canterlot High before it shut down for now as it was now defeated.

On the other hand, Twilight rolled over after being thrown from the Dragonzord and landed near the statue leading back into Equestria as her Twin Swords of Darkness landed near her at the same time the Megazord broke back into its individual zords.

Seconds later, the Power Rangers all exited their zords and went straight to Twilight as she tried to reach out to her Twin Swords of Darkness, but then Jason’s voice stopped her.

“It’s all over Twilight!”

With the blast of his Blade Blaster along with his teammates and Sunset Shimmer adding to the blast, the two blades were destroyed and thus Twilight de-morphed while a green, dark energy left her leaving her clad in a green tank top, black pants, and purple shoes.

“Yeah! Rita’s spell is broken!” Zack shouted.

“Alright, let’s morph…” Jason said.

Twilight then slowly got up and began to see that her mind was foggy and hazy as Rita’s spell was no longer controlling her anymore as the Power Rangers went to her, put up a smoke screen, and de-morphed.

“Twilight, are you alright?” Sunset Shimmer asked.

“I feel dizzy…sweet Faust, what have I done?” Twilight said.

Trini then spoke, “Twilight, what you did was while you were under Rita’s spell and she manipulated you to do her bidding for her by taking advantage of your situation with those Traditionalists.”

“Besides, it doesn’t make you a bad person or pony for that matter. We forgive you, can you forgive yourself?” Kimberly asked.

Twilight got all misty-eyed and ran to Sunset Shimmer, hugging her as she then spoke while everyone else watched on with joy and relief as a moment was unfolding.

“I’m so sorry!”

Sunset Shimmer then spoke, “It’s okay now Twilight, you own the power now, not Rita. Will you join us to defeat Rita and her monsters? The same can be said for Amadeus and the Traditionalists. We can’t do it without you.”

Twilight calmed down and hugged the rest of the Power Rangers as far away back where Twilight and Sunset Shimmer came from, the Royal Sisters cried out in joy as Alpha 5 spoke up.

“I don’t believe it, we now have seven Power Rangers!”

Zordon then spoke, “It is history in the making Alpha as finally, the Green Ranger is one of us now.”

It was then that Twilight’s friends from Equestria appeared despite being covered in sweat from ranger training saw what happened and smiled that Twilight was free.

On the other hand, the Power Rangers knew what had to be done; they had to go back to Equestria and stop Rita, Amadeus, and the Traditionalists as they all got into formation away from everyone’s prying eyes before Jason then spoke after they arrived in a secluded part of Canterlot High School.

“It’s Morphing time!”

Then all of the Power Rangers grabbed their morphers and held them out away from their bodies before they activated them and said their respective creature they represented.

“DRAGONZORD!”

“TIGERZORD!”

“MASTADON!”

“PTERDACTYL!”

“TRICERATOPS!”

“SABER TOOTH TIGER!”

“TRYANNOSAURUS!”

Then a bright flash of light covered all of the Power Rangers as they all morphed together as a team away from the eyes of those who wanted to see who the Power Rangers were as they then teleported outside on top of Canterlot High.

“We’re back! And ready to morph into action!” Jason shouted.

“Seven working together to stop evil!” Sunset Shimmer and Twilight shouted together.

“To stop Rita, Amadeus Blueblood, Unicornia, and the Traditionalists!” Billy shouted.

Trini flexed a bit and spoke, “From destroying Earth!”

“Trying to overthrow the Royal Sisters!” Zack shouted.

“And ruling the Universe and the multi-verse with evil!” Kimberly shouted.

“Look out Rita! We’re not backing down!” Jason shouted seconds after Kimberly.

Then all the Power Rangers posed together as they all shouted one thing that told all who ended up seeing them together including the human counterparts of Twilight’s friends.

“Because, we’re the Power Rangers!”

Zordon’s voice then chimed in, “Power Rangers, with new allies comes new forms of fighting evil. Twilight, use your Dragon Dagger to bring life to the Dragonzord!”

Twilight picked up her Dragon Dagger and played a flute that brought the mechanical beast back up and the zord changed a bit as the spikes became nobler and not demonic as it then stood next to the Tiger Zord with pride.

Before the team could move, Principal Cinch appeared before everyone and looked rather mad despite her students getting their asses handed to them by Rita and her Putty Patrollers as she spoke to the leaders of Canterlot High.

“I demand that Canterlot High forfeit the Friendship Games for cheating by using magic and help from the Power Rangers!” Principal Cinch shouted.

Jason and his team on the other hand were in disbelief at Cinch’s ungrateful bastard behavior and jumped down just as the corrupt leader of Crystal Prep was telling Sci-Twilight that she would vow to blackball her from Everton.

“Hey leave her alone you bully!” Jason shouted in his ranger form.

Principal Cinch backed up a bit as the rest of the Power Ranger including a reformed Green Ranger aka the Equestria Twilight Sparkle glared at her harshly for her arrogance and heartless behavior.

Jason looked at the students of both Crystal Prep and Canterlot High who were both nursing their wounds from their encounter with Rita and her minions before he spoke at her sternly.

“You don’t know what you were involving yourself and your students in let alone what you were or are up against, people are going to get hurt or killed all because you want to preserve your selfish ego. How much is enough for you? Are your students’ really just expendable cannon fodder?”

“Excuse me, but you all-“

Principal Cinch didn’t finish when Trini spoke, “Cheated with magic and us helping out? What part of your mind was on meth? We never helped with either school cheating in these games as we’re supposed to use our powers for defense to protect the weak from those who prey on them like what Rita was doing!”

“Besides, Canterlot High was never using magic to help win the games, they were using them to help the Power Rangers with fighting those monsters at that Tri-Cross relay and just now.” Zack said while folding his arms.

“You all don’t understand how I operate, I have the perfect future for my school and reputation.” Principal Cinch said hotly.

“YOUR FUTURE AND EGO! Not Crystal Prep’s! For the first time in her life, Twilight or our version of Twilight and not the one from Equestria knows what true friendship is and what a real school should be along with were her true path lies with Canterlot High and its band of students and teachers.” Dean Cadence said sternly while walking to Cinch.

With that said, Dean Cadence and Billy showed everyone the true colors of Principal Cinch with the latter with his power coin as Trini joined in as well as in moments, everyone saw how much of a heartless lady Cinch was.

“Also, I uploaded it to YouTube by the way along with what the Yellow Ranger was able to get.” Dean Cadence said.

“I…I…I’ll take this up with the school board!” Principal Cinch shouted.

Principal Celestia spoke, “Oh I’m sure they’ll love to hear about magic…”

“Or talking dogs…” Vice Principal Luna said smugly.

“Or even Power Rangers, Zords, Megazords, giant monsters, Putty Patrollers, and Rita Repulsa being here and not a bunch of actors in costumes done with special effects…” Dean Cadence said.

Kimberly then spoke, “All this time up till now, Twilight or your version of Twilight from Crystal Prep has done what you’ve wanted her to do for you, but now she’s going to control her own destiny instead of you Cinch so, stand down now and resign or we’ll take you to Zordon and let him be the judge for your actions including your attempt to use the Morphing Grid for your selfish ends.”

Principal Cinch was losing the battle and instead of conceding defeat, she tried to rush Sci-Twilight only for Sunset Shimmer in her ranger form to slap her away with her magic that formed a big hand that sent her flying the ground as Kimberly walked over to her before she pinned her with her left foot to keep Cinch from getting up as the Pink Ranger spoke sternly.

“Listen very closely you arrogant, heartless, and mean jerk of a principal, your so-called Shadowbolts and you aren’t worthy of being Power Rangers because we follow these rules; a Power Ranger must never use their powers for personal gain, a Power Ranger must never use their powers to escalate a fight unless it is warranted in certain situations like Rita Repulsa for example, and a Power Ranger must never revel their secret identity to anyone they know and love. I know what it’s like to be an arrogant jerk like you once, but the difference between you and I? I took responsibility for my actions and learned to be a better person in contrast to when I was a I jerk unlike you who seems to pass the buck off, but to quote Harry S Truman…The Buck Stops Here…Since you attempted to assault one of your students, you’re basically have sealed your fate as leader of Crystal Prep. Your students are equally guilty of this, but at least they look sorry unlike you so, good day Principal Jerk…”

Kimberly then walked away and gave Sci-Twilight a gentle hug and looked at the rest of the Crystal Prep students before she spoke to them all sternly.

“Now, what do you all have to say to your fellow classmate Twilight Sparkle?”

Indigo Zap then spoke, “Okay, we’re sorry Twilight for being mean to you and for trying to cheat at the Friendship Games…”

While Kimberly was getting the Shadowbolts to apologize to Sci-Twilight with Dean Cadence’s help along with Principal Celestia and Vice Principal Luna, Billy looked at Jason to ask him a question.

“Uh Jason, did Sunset slap that bullying principal with her magic and in her ranger form?” Billy asked.

“She did…Weird right?” Jason asked while laughing a bit.

“Besides, she was being a bully anyway…” Trini said.

Everyone laughed as Dean Cadence got an email from the school district from her phone that told her that Cinch was fired and she was now the new leader of Crystal Prep.

Walking over to the downed ex-principal Cinch, Dean Cadence leaned down and spoke to her the news in a tone that only Cinch would hear.

“Abacus Cinch, the school district has fired you for extortion, blackmail, and reckless endangerment of students and for attempted cheating at the Friendship Games. Also, Crystal Prep is out of the Friendship Games until next year.”

With that done, the chaos at Canterlot High was settled for now…
