The Princess of Snuggles

Snuggle Sessions

Princess Luna smiled warmly as the clock ticked by. She counted the seconds until her "special guests" arrived.

The elder earth pony in front of Luna continued to ramble about how "Fillydelphia needed more corn from Ponyville shipped there!"

Luna wasn't listening. Though it was her Moon Court, halfway through she began to doze off, thinking about her future plans.

The old mare talked on and on, complaining about. That was until the clock stroke six-thirty.

Luna immediately shot up from her throne with a overly crazed grin. "Well! That's enough of The Moon Court for today! Come back tomorrow, bye!"

Before the pony before her could protest, Luna dashed out of the throne room, leaving Fillydelphia's represent to be dragged out of the castle.

The Moon Goddess quickly dashed with ease through the castle she knew so well, dodging all of the maids. Before long she finally made it to her sleeping chambers.

After closing her door, Luna quickly raised the moon and sat upon her fluffy bed. She smiled gently as she watched her stars begin to appear in her night sky.

A knock came at the door. A guard was on the other side as Luna opened it, a poker face upon the former's gaze.

"Yes?" Luna questioned quietly, hoping for a certain message.

"They are here, your highness," the guard informed, which Luna nodded to before sending him on his way to retrieve the ponies.

She began to unravel and relax for the night. Removing her crown, Luna allowed her ethereal mane retain its normal style.

It was still very sparkly and enchanting, yes. But, it lost its natural ethereal wind, yet, the 'stars' in her mane seemed even brighter this way.

Luna parted her non-ethereal mane into two sections. Taking silver hair bands, she tied her mane into a pair of overly foalish pigtails.

Giggling a bit, Luna used a hoof to fix her bangs to have a slight curl. Once her mane was in the, quote unquote, 'Most adorable way ever!' that her guests liked, she began to remove her regalia.

Removing her chest plate, Luna's fur began to fluff a bit. Naturally, she said that she chose to wear her regalia at all times because "You never know when one might have to make a royal appearance, " but the real reason why was different.

She really didn't like to take off the night regalia because her fur was naturally fluffy. Luna's sister didn't have this problem, but she also wasn't trapped on the moon for a thousand years.

Because of this, Luna's coat fluffed out unless it didn't have the restraint spell that kept it from fluffing on it. The spell couldn't be applied on herself, but on a piece of clothing, so she decided to place the restraint spell on her chest plate.

Once her horseshoes were removed as well, Luna's fur was fluffy around her cheeks, hooves, and chest. The rest was just a bit fluff.

"Princess Luna?" A voice from the other side of her door called. Luna's eyes widened in excitement.

"Give us a second!" she exclaimed as Luna frantically grabbed a small slip of paper and scribbly wrote on it.

Once done, Luna sat in the middle of her chambers. "Come in!" she shouted.

The door opened, revealing Twilight Sparkle and Pinkie Pie. However, it seemed they brought an extra guest.

Twilight stared at the princess before her, a hoof covering her mouth in an attempt to remove her giggles. The demigoddess was in the centre of her room, inside a box.

Luna was smiling with her teeth showing, a note in her mouth. Twilight plucked it out with her magic and read the slip of paper.

Pinkie peeked over her friend's shoulder and read along with her. She began to giggle. "Really, princess?! 'Belly Rubs?' Too cute!"

Luna blushed and smiled. She gazed at her guests and got out of the box. "Hello, Pinkie and Twilight. I'm so glad you could make it!" - she laid her gaze upon the new comer - "Who is this, might I ask? I didn't recall you saying you were bringing guests."

The cyan mare shyly scratched her hoof against the floor. "Um..."

The pegasus meekly hid behind her friends. Twilight sighed and facehoofed. "Ugh, Sketchy! Don't be the second Fluttershy, she's bad enough alone." She focused on Luna. "This is Sketchy Clouds. She's one of Pinkie's best friends, and she was the only pony I friended when I first met Pinkie."

Gesturing a hoof, Twilight pointed at Sketchy. However, she facehoofed again as Sketchy remained hidden. Instead of persuading the pegasus to come out, she decided to levitate her out from behind Pinkie.

Luna's gaze relaxed a bit, seeing she was a friend of her guests. "Greetings, Sketchy. Any friend of the Elements of Harmony Bearers is a friend of mine. But I would like to know why she is here."

She shot Pinkie a death stare. "We agreed not to tell anypony of our sessions, did we not?"

"Hey! I Pinkie Promised! Twilight here is the one who can't keep promises!" Luna's silly glare then focused on Twilight, who began nervously giggling and squirming.

Luna released a giggle of her own and softened her glare. "Well, I see Sketchy wanted a bit of snuggling too?" she teased.

Sketchy blushed and poked the floor once more. "Um, maybe, your highness."

Luna shook her head and advanced toward the pegasus. Wrapping a fluffy wing around Sketchy, the princess said, "Please, just call me Luna."

Sketchy flinched as Luna's wing wrapped around her, but relaxed once more when she was reassured. Clearing her throat and feeling more confidant, Sketchy said, "So, are we gonna snuggle or just stand here?"

The other ponies nodded in agreement. They all sat on the set up Luna had in the centre of her chambers. Pillows laid in a pile, where all the ponies laid.

"So, about that note, Luna. Did you really want a belly rub?" Twilight deadpanned. Luna nodded, and Twilight giggled.

"If that's what you want," she said. Using her magic, Twilight began rubbing Luna's belly. The princess stuck her tongue out and relaxed.

Sketchy couldn't help but smile at the adorable scene before her. Luna's left leg kept twitching in a simple fashion, and she kept almost falling asleep.

"Are they always like this?" Sketchy asked Pinkie.

She nodded. "Hey, while they're doing... whatever that is, you wanna snuggle me?! I've heard wings are sooooo soft!"

Before Sketchy could say yes, Luna interrupted their chat. "Actually, Pinkie, I think we should snuggle together now."

Pinkie looked at Luna, and found she was now on her bed. Twilight was laying on her stomach, cuddling and hugging the princess's torso.

Pinkie glanced at Sketchy, as if asking if it was okay. Sketchy nodded, and the pink pony hopped off to the princess.

She snuggled on one side of Luna and wrapped a hoof around her. Pinkie sighed and relaxed, before glancing at Sketchy, who was sitting on the floor with her back facing the trio.

"You too, Sketchy," Pinkie heard Luna say. Sketchy's ears twitched, before she faced the three.

"Me?" She asked, pointing a hoof at her chest.

Luna nodded, and the pegasus happily skipped to the other side of Luna. Sketchy jumped into the bed, and using her long feathers, pulled the covers over the three.

Sketchy laid her head upon Luna's chest. She closed her eyes and thought back to what Pinkie said. After a moment, she slowly put a wing against Luna as if it was a blanket.

'Just like what she did to me earlier,' Sketchy thought. 'Mmm, this is really nice. I should ask if I can snuggle more often.'

Soon enough Twilight, Pinkie, and Sketchy all fell asleep in the princess's embrace. Luna softly stared at the sleeping body of the pegasus and smiled.

"I like this filly," Luna said softly. "I hope you come back soon, Sketchy. After all, what is the Princess of Snuggles without her Pegasus of Snuggles?"
