Elements of Heroism Interlude: Vacation

Epilogue

Luna sighed happily as she looked over Canterlot. She'd been enjoying the more active role she'd been granted due to Celestia going on vacation. Not to mention she'd certainly gotten used to people coming to her for advice or approval. However, she could do without all the paperwork. Fortunately, Celestia left a note to message any and all paperwork to Twilight. Needless to say, she was enjoying more time in the spotlight. And everyone really seemed to enjoy her work with the night sky. "Such a wonderful night." Luna said with a smile. She then took to the sky, and began her nightly fly over the city. However, she soon spotted a familiar figure on a rooftop. It was the same young man she'd seen the night Sombra and Hope had been ambushed. Luna scowled, and immediately landed on the rooftop.

"I must say. Your art is quite lovely." Blitz said as he looked up at the moon. "Such beauty could only be crafted by a goddess."

Luna immediately summoned her Celestial Arm. "Praise of my night will get you no slack." Luna then got into a fighting stance. "Why did you attack Sombra and Radiant Hope?!"

"Why not?" Blitz Surge asked in return. "I know as well as you do that the former tyrant who ruled the Crystal Empire with an iron fist must be made to own up to what he's done."

Luna's scowl deepend. "He already has! And he was working to do better. He was trying to redeem himself for what he's done! To show he's changed!"

"Is that so?" Blitz Surge asked. "Could it be that you sympathsize with him? Having your worst mistakes being shown to you and realizing the error of your ways?"

"The Elements of Harmony worked to purify me and teach me." Luna snapped. "What you did was essentially put Sombra through his worst fears all over again! What right do you claim that could possibly justify your actions?!"

Blitz slowly smiled. "That's exactly my right. Justice. You of all people know that redemption is something earned. Especially after your banishment. I merely wished to educate the former tyrant. As well as have him experience the pain of those he had wronged. Now that I've done that, I've no reason to raise my blade against him."

"I...suppose there is some merit to your logic." Luna said with a cautious glare. Still keeping her katana, Waking Dream, held at the ready. "But don't think your flattery will earn you less of a punishment."

Blitz chuckled. "Oh trust me. I don't expect any lessening of a punishment for my actions. In some regards, you and I are alike. Both of us have a fondness for the night." Blitz then returned his gaze to the moon. "Both of us overshadowed by those we share blood with. And we both believe in a strong sense of right."

"And just who among your family eclipsed you?" Luna asked with a puzzled look on her face.

Blitz shrugged. "That's of little importance now. But I must thank you all the same for gracing me with your presence." A small smile then crept across his face. "You truly do look the most radiant at night. Beauty that could stir madness within the heart."

"Not many have spoken of my beauty often." Luna said with a slight blush.

Blitz walked up to Luna, and kissed her on the cheek! "Such a shame. Farewell. Princess of the Night. I look forward to our next encounter." And with that, Blitz teleported away! Looking at the moon throught he window in his home. "I know you'll be watching me."
