Well that was fast… A day after the plushie thread and already a 20k story on the subject. And it's good too! @Quarters, I have no idea how you manage it, but you are *yay* good! Just own small comment: the story is great, but you didn't use an editor and it shows in part. It passes, of course, but having read your previous stuff, I know how much better you could get. I'd help, but I think I'll be a bit busy in the months to come.

I read it this morning! It's sooo cuuute! I cried so hard when Danny plushie jumped to protect his owner and got torn in half.
There must be a sequel! There just must be!
I even wrote a song about it. I'll try to record and post it later today (if my fat sister gives me any privacy :/).

Hmm? Which story is that? I've been a bit out of things largely and sounds likeI missed this one. Are we talking about Danny being transformed into a plushie? Or a plushie of Danny coming to life?

The story is called Human Within and the nature of the plushie is never actually revealed. All we know is that it's a gift to the OC from her mother (again no name mentioned) and things just go on from there. It's a very good story, a sort of adventure comedy that keeps you reading on and on. The only faults are that it could have used an editing pass, as RRBB mentioned.

I'm sure that the mother is Caprice! Her name and cutie mark are never mentioned, but she's a Pegasus that had the same coat and mane as Caprice. It has to be her!
I'm more curious is the dragons are working for a corporation or someone else entirely. They reacted upon seeing the plushie for the first time. Also, one of Twinkle’s friends in school also made a strange comment. I'm convinced that this is a future gen and we’ll have the the children of the grand9 appear :)

Did you know that two new writes have accepted offers to replace MC veterans? That brings the total number of the new wave of authors to 5.
Also, there's a rather large interest in plushies on Earth. At present bunnies are the most favored, but by this time next month ponies might have overtaken them.

Wow, this was good! And I think that the plushie might be the Everprince. Although it has Danny’s appearance, the mannerisms are very different. Knowing Quarters’ eye for detail I doubt that's an accident, editor or not.
@Speculator7: Lol! Pony plushies in a world of humans. Not impossible, but it sounds hilarious. Though, I wouldn't mind Cassandra having a plushie of me O:)

Thank you all. This was just a short to reduce built up school tension. Initially I didn't want to post it, but a few friends told me I should. I am aware that it hasn't been edited. I myself only went through it twice and in rapid succession.
I'm surprised at the amount of ponies who liked it. If I'd known i’d probably make it longer, but with project Butterfly resuming soon, I think I'll leave it for later.

Just for the record I had a pony plushie when I was a filly. There's nothing odd in that.

Hmm I wonder. Technically, I think I could animate a plushy. It won't be anywhere as complex as the real thing, but quite more advanced that the usual dolls on sale. :D
The more I think about it the more fun it sounds. @RRBB: have you considered doing puppet shows? Or should I say “plushie shows”? No idea if there's any appeal, but the idea sound cute :)
