Chapter 7 - The Beginning of the Friendship Games[/i]
It had been several days since Adagio spoke to Spike about joining the Friendship Games and Spike knew she was right and there was no other way around it. He sighted and pushed a button on the intercom. "Ember gather the students and staff. Its about the upcoming Friendship Games." Spike said and Ember sent out a massive message to all students and staff. After a few moments everyone had gathered in the auditorium for the announcement for the Friendship Games. Spike then walked onto the stage and took a mic that Adagio was holding.
"Fellow Students, Staff Members and friends. As you are all aware the Friendship Games are right around the corner and everyone here has heard rumors spreading around saying if Canterlot High will be joining or not. Well I am here to put these rumors to rest by saying....Canterlot High will be joining the Friendship Games." Spike said and everyone began cheering and smiling. "Now with that out of the way I have had the Student Council keep track of every student and such. Canterlot High Friendship Games team will consist of Cloud Chaser, Flash Sentry, and Lightning Dust for the Physical events. For the Academic parts the team will consist of Octavia Melody, Lyra Heartstrings and Adagio Dazzling." Spike said and everyone cheered for the six students who were competing in the Friendship Games. "Now I know Crystal Prep is our opponents and some of you maybe thinking we won't be able to beat them due to them being a "Private" academy and they will probably be Athletic, Smart and Motivated...but there is one thing they are not. They are not Wondercolts!" Spike said as music began to start up in the background.

Spike smiled at everyone cheering and walked off the stage with the girls and everyone was happy and giving high-fives. "So it now begins and there's no going back.
How will this turn out I wonder?" Spike thought as him and the girls went out to celebrate as friends. Little did Spike know that this would turn into something Much bigger that no one could predict.
