By now, Princess Chrysalis is fifteen. Next year she will become Queen. Her mother and father, Queen Viviana and King Zolano had feared that day for three years. They knew that their daughter was evil, yet nothing could stop her. Chrysalis thinks that she can just eat other changelings' love and still be seen as a wonderful, innocent angel by her parents. They knew that once she was Queen, she would have the rights to The Vault, where they kept every single scroll of recorded changeling history. She would have access to The Wise Ones, the three changelings that knew all. If she found out about any of the other kingdoms that shared the land, she would want them all. The first to be destroyed would be Equestria. Then the Crystal Empire. Then the Dragon Lands, and then Yazyakistan. Finally, she would find all the portals and destroy every world and dimension. Unless the Equestrian Elements of Harmony were united, along with all Alicorn Magic and The Crystal Heart's full power...no, it's not possible. Not even the kindest pony would agree.

So a year passed, and Queen Viviana and King Zolano knew that the time had come. Their daughter received her crown, and she laughed. She laughed hysterically and screamed:

"THANK YOU, MOTHER AND FATHER. THE (snicker) CROWN IS SIMPLY GORGEOUS!!!"

"We-we're g-g-glad that y-you think s-s-so..."

"WELL THEN. I GUESS THAT THE LAST THING YOU'LL EVER FEEL IS GLADNESS!!!!!! MWAHAHAHAHA!!!!!"
And she pointed her horn at her parents. She stared at them with eyes full of hatred.

"SORRY, MOTHER! THERE'S A NEW QUEEN IN THE HIVE!!!!!!!!!! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!!!!!"

Her mother and father screamed, and then slowly withered, until all that was left was a pile of dust. A wind gust swept it away.

"Now, who's going to be the lucky changeling to become the first to join my minion army?"
And so, she became Queen Chrysalis.
