//------------------------------// // Chapter 3: Ponyville (Rewritten) // Story: Rise of the Titans (edited) // by darkmage1997 //------------------------------// It took about 10 minutes of walking to get out of the Everfree Forest, but the Mane 6, Discord, and the Fujiyama siblings finally made it to the outskirts of Ponyville. Silver looked rather indifferent about it, while Heaven was ecstatic about a world full of unicorns and the other seven brothers seemed suspicious of the group of friends, "Silver, are you sure we can trust these guys?" Silver heard Raiden ask in his head. "I'm sure we can. I haven't seen them thinking of anything like what that dictator put us through. It'll be fine, trust me," Silver said back. Raiden still seemed unsure. But as they neared the town, they saw smoke billowing up from the buildings. "What happened?!" Twilight exclaimed, as the six ponies, and Discord rushed towards town, leaving the nine siblings behind, looking rather confused. "What was that about?" Icezer asked. "I don't know, but we should see what we can do to help out," Silver suggested, as they rushed towards town, with Francisco staying behind with Heaven. As they drew nearer, they saw an army of robots attacking the town, "What is all this?!" Silver exclaimed, as they saw some ponies trying in vain to fight off the robots. "No time for questions, we got to help them!" Brian exclaimed, as he became enveloped in fire, and delivered a powerful drop kick to some of the robots. The ponies were frightened by a human surrounded by flames, but were grateful, as they ran for safety. "Always in with a flashy entrance. Just like Brian," Raiden said, as he turned into lightning, and rocketed across town, destroying robots left and right. "Let's get in there too guys!" Silver said, as the other five brothers leapt into action. Icezer was skating along an icy trail he made, piercing robots with giant icicles. "You guys need to get to shelter!" Icezer said to the ponies he rescued. They ran off as he ordered them to. "Spectral Surge: Gale of Lost Souls!" Heiru said, as an eerie wind began blowing, which seemed to short of the robots that were caught up in it, "If you value your lives, you need to evacuate to safety," Heiru said to the ponies he saved. They ran off. Silver was being backed up into a corner by some robots. Just then, they began glowing cyan, and started getting crushed, "Never underestimate everyone," Silver said, as he used his telekinetic powers to rip some more robots to pieces. Echo-Echo's arms then reformed into cannons, and blasted away a bunch more robots using sound, which caused some nearby glass to shatter. But as he was doing this, he never noticed a larger robot coming at him from behind. The metal teen was sent flying when he was hit with a wrecking ball. However, he was undamaged. "IT IS USELESS. MY EXOSUIT IS MADE ENTIRELY OF ADAMANTIUM, THE HARDEST METAL THAT EXISTS!" Echo-Echo said, as some sound disks come off of his palms, and surrounded the robot that hit him, "SONIC DOOM!" he yelled, as sound began crushing the robot. A few moments later, The seven brothers regrouped, trying to catch their breath, "I think... that was the last of them," Brian said, completely exhausted. Raiden then began inspecting one of the robots. "Hmm, judging by the workmanship, I can assume that whoever built these bots was human," Raiden said, opening an access panel. "But why were they just attacking?" Silver asked. "They weren't attacking. This programing indicates that they were built for some sort of search and seizure mission," Raiden clarified. Soon enough, they were rejoined by the ponies from before, save for Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie. "Did you boys do all this?" Rarity asked. "We did. You're welcome, by the way," Icezer said. "Where did you learn to do all that cool stuff!?" Rainbow Dash exclaimed. "We were created solely for combat, and also protecting our little sister," Silver explained in a tone that made the ponies think he didn't want to talk about it anymore. "Hey guys, is it safe yet?" Francisco asked, appearing from a portal. "Yeah, we took care of the last of these bots," Heiru replied, as the spacial teen, and the youngest of the nine siblings exited the rift. "By the way, where are the other two from before?" Stealth asked, not seeing the shy Pegasus or the hyper active pink pony. "They went to go look for our children, to make sure they're safe," Twilight replied. No one could have expected what happened next. The brothers, save for Silver, who read each of their minds, and Heaven, who wasn't really paying attention, all had varying looks of contempt. "Take it easy guys. They haven't done anything to incite rash action," Silver said to each of his brothers through their minds. "But they said 'their children'! That means they're adults!" Brian raged. "Silver, you know what happened the last time we trusted adults," Raiden added, sounding equally as angered. "I know, but I haven't seen any thoughts on them capturing us. if anything, they're all thinking about helping us," Silver retorted. "I DON'T LIKE THIS ONE BIT," Echo-Echo countered. "But if what Silver says is true, then we might as well give them a chance," Stealth added. The other six brothers still seemed leery about it, but they reluctantly agreed. Not two seconds later, Fluttershy came back with Toby and Serenity, riding on her back. "A human?" Silver questioned, as he began reading Toby's mind. What he found horrified the psychic teen, "Oh my god! How can a human father turn against his own flesh and blood?!" Silver thought, sounding sick to his stomach. "What's wrong Silver?" Raiden asked. Silver relayed what he had just seen to his brothers and sister. Needless to say, they were just as horrified as Silver. "And from what I've read in Toby's mind, there are other humans in this world, and each of them have had experiences just as bad or even worse than he did," Silver said. "I NEVER THOUGHT I'D SEE A HUMAN THAT'S BEEN THROUGH MORE CRAP THAN US," Echo-Echo replied. "Are these the guys that got rid of all these robots, Momma?" Toby asked. "Yes. They were able to stop them all," Fluttershy replied. "And somehow, this guy can read minds and use psychic powers!" Rainbow Dash exclaimed, motioning to Silver. "So there's no need for introductions on your part, Toby. I'm Silver by the way. Silver Fujiyama. And these are my brothers, Brian, Icezer, Raiden, Akira, Takashi, Francisco, and Heiru, and our little sister, Heaven," Silver said, introducing himself and his brothers. "Something's buggin' me. A moment ago, you said you were 'created for combat'. What do ya mean by that?" Applejack asked. "We'd rather not talk about it," Brian replied. "Well, I for one find that phrase entirely barbaric. Living creatures being meant for just fighting?" Rarity said in an appalled tone. "And did I hear you right, that these robots were just searching for something?" Twilight asked Raiden. "Indeed," the thunder teen replied. They all then noticed the sky turning orange, as the sun was setting. "This day went by fast," Silver commented. "And we've got a lot of rebuilding to do," Twilight commented, seeing the destroyed buildings of Ponyville. "I got this, don't worry," Francisco said. He clasped his hands, and began glowing magenta. A wave of energy then expanded from him which not only fixed the buildings, but also got rid of the robots. "Where'd the robots go? And how are the buildings all fixed?!" Rainbow Dash exclaimed, not seeing any destruction. "That would be my ability. I can warp space to create or rebuild stuff, or to deposit junk, like those robots, in a pocket space," Francisco explained. "Well, it's getting late. Would you kids like to rest at my castle, over yonder?" Twilight asked, pointing to her castle. The eight teens looked rather uncomfortable. "Sorry Princess, it's nothing against you or your friends, but, my brothers and I have extreme difficulty trusting adults and humans," Silver replied. "But you kids do need somewhere to sleep," Rarity commented. "I can take care of that myself. Plus, we'd rather not be a burden. But don't worry, we'll try to stay close to town," Francisco replied, opening a portal. One by one, each of his brothers went through, leaving only him and Heaven to go through, "Come on Heaven," Francisco said, taking Heaven's hand. "Hold on a minute," Heaven said, turning to the ponies, "Sorry about this guys, but my brothers really hate adults and humans. But I can tell they can trust at least all of you," Heaven said, as she and her brother went through the portal, leaving the ponies and Toby to reflect on what they just witnessed. "They hate all adults and humans?" Rainbow Dash questioned. "I don't think it's possible for someone or something to hate their own kind," Rarity added. "Well, we should take baby steps with these kids. After all, they did fend off all those robots," Twilight commented. Fluttershy then felt her son and daughter slumping on her back, completely tired. "It's getting late. I should get going," Fluttershy said, taking her son and daughter home. "I'd better get my kids home too," Rainbow Dash said, taking off. "We should meet up tomorrow to discuss what to do with those kids," Rarity commented. "Agreed. See you guys in the morning," Twilight said, returning to her castle. After the elements departed, a certain draconequess was very intrigued by the group of kids from another dimension. "Oh yes, I think I should try to be a father to them. But how?" Discord pondered.
