The flames were put out. The bodies were buried. Reconstruction began. A day after the invasion, Satyrn set out again to Canterlot to meet with the princesses alongside her parents. At the castle, they sat down together and Satyrn revealed the true nature of the invasion. She explained who the invaders were, where they came from, and why they came; explained who she was, where she was from, and why she came. There was crying. There was silence.
There was forgiveness.
Elden and Amber hugged Satyrn.
Quickly breaking up the family reunion. Luna disclosed the fact that she had been analyzing Satyrn’s thoughts and dreams from the day she came to the castle for the first time. After the invasion, Luna searched through the dreams of an indescribably dark mind present within Statera’s enclosure. The princess explained additionally how Statera came to be, having probed the mind’s memories. Satyrn knew it was Satellite. She hadn’t known of any other highly aware being in Statera other than its king.
What Luna couldn’t explain, however, was the future that would unfold as a result of these events.
