Please! I didn’t want to say this on the site… hay I probably freaked them out already… Twilight didn’t just feel ill and collapse. It was sudden, very sudden. And for a moment I think I saw him. I’m pretty sure I did. Just before she collapsed, he was there among the clouds, not even hiding. In the blink of an eye he was gone, but I know what I saw.

That’s impossible. I saw him get blasted by the friendship rainbow. You saw it! There’s no way he could have survived. I’m talking from experience. After such a blast he should have either been transformed or destroyed altogether.

I know! But I saw him! I’m not wrong! Also, it fits the pattern! He’s been targeting her from the beginning. All the times we made fun of her for fainting, that was him! Remember that first time she got hit by the anomalies. Well, now we know he used them. My theory is that he somehow makes them then casts spells from where he is to a target. It’s like he’s making miniature portals.
Maybe he managed to vanish away before they could hit him?

The beam hit him. We all saw. Even if he managed to escape AFTERWARDS he’d be changed. The Sirens, Tirek, Discord, none could withstand it… and this is just a Windigo. A crazy powerful one, but still.
I can come hop by this evening, as well as after my exam. Windigo or not there’s something going on with Twilight and the sooner we learn the better.
Have you spoken with Lyra or any of her friends?

No. They are worried enough as it is. Rarity had a word with me in confidence about it, but neither of us pressed the issue. What can I tell them? That the elements of harmony didn’t work?
As for Lyra…she and her childhood friends are wonderful, but they aren’t like us. We’ve been to the dark side and back, we know what’s at stake. I could ask Discord and Simile, but with both of them having someone special, I prefer to keep them out of it for now.

That’s the worst possible idea. :/ My magic is a bit rusty, and as you saw we weren’t able to do much harm to him…
There’s one thing I will do, though. Once my exams are over I’ll go and have a long talk with my mother. She knows something about it. Being her she’s probably hiding it, but this time I’ll make her tell me. I’ll also press Simile to get info from Princess Luna.

Why is the Windigo so obsessed with her? She’s a Princess, yes, but there were a lot of other important ponies in the room. You, some elements of harmony, Shining Armor, Flurry… And yet, his attention was focused on getting her there. Not Princess Celestia, not anypony else.

I was thinking the same thing. All he did was freeze our horns. He could have done much worse.
Anyway, I’ll revise some of the stuff and be with you in about an hour. Is that okay? We’ll go to Dark and have a chat with her. How exactly is she? She keeps telling me she’s fine in PM and in book, but knowing her she’s probably not.

Honestly? I have no idea. Usually she opens up when nopony else is around, but this time… The only thing I know is from Spike. She very much blames herself. Spike says he saw her cry alone in the terrace one night. There’s no way to confirm this, but it sounds true. She’s afraid, that much is obvious, but I can’t tell why exactly. There’s the overall fear for Equestria, yes, but the rest my spell couldn’t determine.

Applied physics. :/ I honestly have no idea why I even took that course. It seemed fun at the time, not it’s only boring. While I’m going that, can you try and find more about the Windigo? I know everyone else is, but there’s something off about him. He claimed knowing Celestia, and that’s not a lie to casually make. There’s more there, we just have to find out what.

Sure. I’ll be waiting for you in the mirror hall. Spike agreed to be with Dark until we got there, but the sooner we can talk with her the better. At least those are my thoughts.
Oh, and just out of curiosity… What are your thoughts on time travel spells to try and fix this?
