The ultimate surprise

new world (edited chapter 2)

Dillan stared at the three small ponies, his mind racing a thousand miles an hour as to why he was sent to Equestria of all places. The show that he watched almost religiously with his two nieces, making his heartache in pain as he remembers their burnt bodies. The young man had to while the tears that were forming in his eyes, shivering himself as the cold wind flew across the plains like an eagle in the sky.

A whimper derailed his train of thought as he noticed a small amount of blue forming on the three filly's hooves, indicating the beginnings of frostbite. "Crap, ok let me see…" Dillan said quickly looking around the area, noticing a small hill with an opening underneath it. In one fell swoop, the blue Ultimatrix holder swept the three fillies into his arms and dashed to the entrance of the overhead hanging hill.

Once the human set the three down under the overhead hill, Dillan looked around for something to help block the wind and cold. "Crap… There's not much I can use…" He said, glancing back at the shivering ponies, before hanging his head in shame. His gaze fell upon the Ultimatrix dawning his wrist, before turning back to the fillies. "No better time to see if this thing is real." He spoke to himself, before popping up the dial pad and shifting through the holograms.

He stopped on the hologram of a tall crystal creature he didn't recognize; its head and body were sleek and aerodynamically thinner than Diamondhead, but he couldn't tell much else due to the blue pigmentation of his watch. "This is new…" He mumbled, before gently pushing the dialed pad down and getting engulfed in a blue light.

Red crystals extended from the ground into the overhead hill, creating a wall to block the wind as a red crystallized being in a black and white suit with blue eyes walked over, sealing off all but a small section to keep the wind out completely. "This alien is almost just like Diamondhead… it must be a subspecies." Dillan said, before returning to his natural human state again.

Once the shapeshifter had gathered some dry sticks and twigs from the ground in the makeshift cave, he stacked them into the shape of an Indian tent. Pulling out a small blue lighter from his bookbag he lit the twigs on fire to get some heat going for the fillies while pulling out a small blanket and wrapping it around them. "Good thing my dad taught me to always be prepared…" Dillan mumbled, just before turning into a large orange dog creature and laying around the three young ponies to help them fight off the cold even more.

Dillan stared out at the relentless snowfall from the opening he left in the wall, memories flooding his head as hours passed. How long had he been staring? One hour, two? Dillan's mind couldn't comprehend everything going on recently, his whole life had been flipped upside down and sideways. A stirring and whimpering snapped him out of his thoughts as he turned to see Sweetie Belle, the little white unicorn fluttering her eyes open.

“Ugh, w-where am I?” she asked as she fully opened her eyes, seeing the face of Dillan’s Wildmutt form looking at her. She was quiet for a few seconds before letting out an ear-piercing scream.

Wild mutt whimpered and covered its head in pain as the other two fillies woke up with a start, screaming as well while trying to get away from the large dog-like Alien. "What in tarnation is that thing!?" Applebloom, the small yellow pony with a bow said.

“I don’t know!” Scootaloo shouted as the three of them backed themselves into a wall.

A bright blue engulfed wild mutt once again, before Dillan was sitting in its place holding his head in pain. "Jesus Christ! Your screams are like dog whistles!"

This made the three-stop screaming and stare at Dillan in shock, “D-did that thing j-just change?!” Applebloom asked her friends,

"Y-yeah it did." Sweetie Belle said, shaking in fear.

"Hey!" He shouted, making the three jumps slightly. "Do you know how rude it is calling someone a thing!"

“S-sorry mister, u-um, Changeling?” Applebloom said, unsure if that’s what she should call Dillan.

Dillan raised an eyebrow in confusion before smacking his own head. "D'oh, of course you don't know what I am. I'm sorry, I've had a… Very rough couple of months." He said, poking the fire with a stick. "My name's Dillan, and I'm a human."

"A… What?" Scootaloo asked, raising an eyebrow.

"A human, or homosapien… I guess you can say I'm an alien here." He said, tossing the blanket over to them. "Come get warm, when I found you three you were getting frostbite."

The three of them looked unsure but wrapped themselves up in the blanket and they were all quiet for a few moments, which was kind of driving Dillan crazy.

"I'm not a Changeling." He spoke up. "Well, I'm not the species of changeling. I'm classified as a changeling technically I suppose… If that makes sense."

He just received confused looks in response from the three fillies, making him sigh and shake his head.

Dillan chuckles. "I'm able to transform with this." He said, wiggling his ultimatrix. "So, I can be called a changeling, but I'm not the bug pony changeling race."

"Oh, Ya mean like how a pony can be a prince or princess without being an alicorn?" Applebloom asked, tilting her head.

"Kinda… It's hard to explain. Anyway, what were you three doing out here in a blizzard all alone?" Dillan asked, glancing at the three. "Your families must be worried sick."

“Um, we w-were kind of trying to get our C-Cutie Marks.” Sweetie Belle answered hesitantly.

"Ok obviously I'm not a pony, and I don't get cutie marks. But did you really think going in a blizzard without any sort of coats or warming gear would get you the marks?" Dillan asked them, raising an eyebrow.

"W-well when you put it like that…" Scootaloo said, shifting in the blanket.

"Oh, please be careful with that, my family gave it to me last year for… Christmas." Dillan said, sighing softly.

“Wha-what’s Christmas?” Sweetie Belle asked.

“Why do Ya sound sad?” Applebloom asked.

“Can you make the fire bigger?” Scootaloo asked, making her friends look at her with raised eyebrows.

Dillan smiles a little, putting a few more twigs onto the fire to make it bigger. "Christmas is my people's version of hearth's warming… and I sound sad because my um… my family uh left… on Christmas Eve."

“Oh, well maybe they will come back.” Sweetie said with an innocent smile, however Applebloom looked down clearly knowing what Dillan meant.

Dillan smiles softly at Sweetie belle. "That's a nice thought… I'd love to see them again. And my fiancé."

“Ugh please don’t get all mushy on us mister Hooman.” Scootsloo said.

Applebloom gets out of the blanket and walks over to Dillan and lays next to him. “Ah’m sorry mister Dillan.”

Scootaloo, and Sweetie Belle look confused as Dillan smiles gently, rubbing Apple Bloom's head. "It's alright… it was my fault."

Apple Bloom looks up at Dillan. “You don’t seem like a bad guy mister; I don’t think whatever happened was your fault.”

"It's not what I did… it's what I didn't do." He mumbled, sighing as a loud wind blew across the field outside. "You three better get to sleep. I'm going to get Ya home tomorrow."

“Ok mister, but you can’t blame Yer self. It's what I heard Mah brother tell Ma sister.” Applebloom said before laying her head on Dillan’s lap and her two friends joined her.

Dillan smiles a bit, covering the three up with the blanket before slowly falling asleep while looking at the flames of the fire. The human's eyes fluttered open once again, being completely wrapped in darkness aside from the fire in front of him. "W-where am I?"

There was the sound of hooves on marble behind him, and when he looked, he saw a tall dark blue alicorn. “Greetings strange creature.”

"Princess Luna?" Dillan asked, arching an eyebrow as he looked around. "So, I'm dreaming?"

“Indeed, though I was not the one who brought us together.” Luna said before looking over to her left.

"Paradox?" Dillan asked, his eyes widening at the being next to him. "Wait... W-what?"

"Hey." The man said, having an exact duplicate of Dillan's face and Ultimatrix.

“These two suddenly showed up and asked me to look for you.” Luna said, looking at the two older humans.

"Dillan, meet Dillan. He is from a dimension that is currently being erased by Eon." Paradox said as the older Dillan nodded.

"He disguised himself as Paradox and tricked me." The older Dillan said, smiling softly at his younger counterpart.

"S-so why are you here?" Dillan asked, looking at the two, a look of complete bewilderment on his face

"I asked Paradox to bring me to… us… so that what happened to my Equestria doesn't happen here." The older Dillan said, gently holding up his Ultimatrix to his counterparts as they both blinked yellow. "I've given you all the scans I have that haven't been erased yet."

Paradox looks at his pocket watch and then places a hand on older Dillan. “You have a few moments, make them count my boy.”

The older Dillan nods solemnly, smiling softly at his past counterpart. "Paradox told me about our family… I'm truly sorry. But you're lucky you got to spend more time with them than I did. Me and Alyssa broke up. And in my depression, I went to a con and got Displaced…"

Dillan said nothing, just watching his older counterpart as they continued to speak. "I can't tell you everything will be ok or to be the hero Paradox thinks you can be… just be yourself and remember one thing." The older Dillan said, smiling as his body began fading away. "They're always in your heart." He said with a gentle smile as he vanishes, his Ultimatrix falling to the ground before Paradox catches it.

“Wha-what happened to him?” Luna asked in shock.

"He's gone." Paradox said, frowning down at the Ultimatrix. "His entire timeline was erased… except for this." He said holding up the Ultimatrix.

“What is it?” Luna asked, looking at it.

“What will you do with it?” Dillan asked.

Paradox smiles softly, pointing to the Ultimatrix on Dillan's wrist. “Wait, so this, is that?” Dillan asked, pointing first at his Ultimatrix then to the one in Paradox’s hand, before thinking. “Wouldn't that make it a paradox? Wait that's who I'm talking too”

"I did say there was only one." Paradox said, smiling softly, turning and walking away. "Farewell young Dillan, see you soon."

“What a strange being.” Luna said watching him leave, then she looked at Dillan.

"Yeah, um… he can time travel." Dillan said, rubbing the back of his head.

“Truly? He must be truly powerful to not have gone insane.” Luna said before asking. “Why do I sense three young ponies near you?”

Dillan smiles softly. "Applebloom, Sweetie belle and Scootaloo are in the cave I'm in. I found them nearly frost bitten, so I started a fire and wrapped them in a blanket."

Luna gasps. “I shall send guards and a medical team there right away!”

"We should be alright until morning, I sealed off the cave thanks to this." He said holding up his ultimatrix. "So, the wind can't get to them or anything."

“Still, it is close to morning, I will feel better knowing they have help coming.” Luna said with a slight bow. “Thank you for saving them.”

Dillan waves his arms frantically with a light blush on his face. "H-hey no need to bow, I'm not the kind of guy to let kids just freeze."

“Still, you have saved my friends, I shall give you any favor you can ask.” Luna said with a smile.

"Well… I could use a… house I suppose." Dillan said, rubbing the back of his neck. "I'm… basically homeless."

“A house is a simple matter, simply let me know when and where, and I shall have the finest craft ponies make your home for you.” Luna said with a smile before she looked around at the dark void and lit her horn. “Allow us to give you a restful sleep as well.”

"Thank you, princess Luna, and I swear I will explain why I know your name when we meet in the waking world." He said, bowing to her before the void around him fell into nothingness.

Dillan is awoken by the sound of thumping against crystal and the three fillies around him hug his legs. “Mister Dillan there is something on the other side of the wall!” Sweetie said pointing at the crystal, which they can barely see a strange, shaped shadow as it hits the other side repeatedly.

"It's ok, it's ok. It's the Canterlot guards." Dillan said, walking over to the crystal. "There's an opening at the top!" He called through.

The thumping stopped before they started digging at the top. “Can the fillies fit through?”

"Not sure… I left the hole wide enough for smoke to escape from the fire… didn't think of shoving a pony through." Dillan mumbled, looking up. "Plus, from where we are it's hard to get to it. This used to be an overhanging cliff."

“Then please stand clear, we will dig you out sir.” The guard said and they worked on digging around the crystal.

"I have a better idea, stand away from the crystals!" Dillan called, popping up his Ultimatrix before turning back into the red crystal being as he rose his hand and the crystals slowly sank into the ground.

“Whoa!” The guards back away and a few aim their spears at Dillan. “Easy boys, Princess Luna did say that the fillies were with a strange but friendly being. Stand down.”

"Um." Dillan said as the crystal being. "This isn't my normal form…"

"Yeah, he said he's classified as a changeling but isn't the race… whatever that means." Sweetie belle said, tapping her chin.

“A changeling that isn’t a changeling?” One of the guards asked.

Dillan chuckles nervously as he returns to normal, startling the guards rubbing the back of his head. "Ta-da?"

“Whoa.” Another guard said before they wave the fillies and Dillan to follow. “Follow us.”

Dillan looked down at the fillies and noticed Sweetie Belle's hooves were still a little black, quickly picking her all up and wrapping the young filly in his blanket like a burrito to keep her nice and warm. “Eeep!” She yelps as she was picked up and looks up at Dillan confused.

"Sir, what are you doing?" The first guard asked, slowly readying his weapon.

"Her hooves are still frost bitten; I'm making sure they're all warm." Dillan said, gently putting Applebloom and Scootaloo into the wrapping as well.

“Hey, I can walk, I'm not a foal!” Scootaloo complained that she wiggled to get free.

"Your hooves could fall off." Dillan said, smirking a little as she stopped wiggling.

"W-wait really?" She asked, quickly snuggling into the blanket now.

“We need to get moving uh…sir... There is another wild storm coming.” The head guard said while two medics came to take the fillies.

"Alright, and please be careful with that blanket." Dillan said, handing the fillies off to the paramedics before grabbing his bookbag and following the ponies. It felt like an hour before they left the snow and ice fields for grass and rock roads, making their way it to a dirt road that sat next a small camp.

"How far are we from civilization?" Dillan asked with a raised eyebrow, looking up at the tall mountain in the distance.

“Not far, Ponyville is only an hour's walk away.” One of the guards said, glancing at him with trepidation.

"Oh, good to know you three didn't walk miles in a blizzard." Dillan said, looking at the CMC with a smirk.

They all look away whistling innocently as three halos appear over their heads, causing Dillan to chuckle a little while a bright flash of light enveloped the area causing two ponies Dillan recognized appeared.

One was Luna from his dream the previous night, her dark blue coat and wavy star mane shining in the sunlight. The other was a much taller pony with a snow-white coat and pastel mane full of vibrant pink, green, and blue color.  "So, this is the strange being you met last night Luna?” The white mare asked.

Luna nods with a kind of smile that a child who just made their first friend would have. “Yes sister, allow me to introduce you to Dillan the Hooman, and Dillan please meet my sister Celestia.”

Dillan bows slightly, rubbing the back of his head again with a nervous chuckle. "S-sorry but um it's pronounced with hue as in the shade of a color"

Luna blushes at her mistake. “Oh, we are sorry.”

Dillan runs the back of his head even more, looking away. "It's ok, unless you've met or been a human it's… a strange name now that I think about it…"

"I see, well I'd like to personally thank you for saving these three. Their sisters have been worried sick." Celestia said, as a yellow light left Dillan's Ultimatrix and swept over Celestia after shaking her hoof., causing the guards to immediately raise their spears “What was that?” Celestia asked, backing up a bit as the guards got closer.

"Um… it's a scan." Dillan said, holding his hands up at the spears. "My watch lets me transform into different sentient creatures by scanning their DNA… I can turn into an alicorn now."

Celestia blinks in surprise. “You can become an alicorn?”

“Truly? We have never heard of a male alicorn before.” Luna said, rubbing her chin. "Would thou be kind enough to show us?"

Dillan slowly pops up his Ultimatrix, showing them the hologram of a male alicorn with a strong jawline before transforming into the alicorn in the hologram. His coat being a light shade of black with a light blue mane, his eyes a light shade of green with the Ultimatrix on his flank. "Ta-da?"

“Amazing, but something tells me you didn’t earn the right to be royalty.” Someone said from behind the sisters. When they stepped to the side Dillan saw a white unicorn with blond mane and tail.

"No, I didn't Blueblood, and I didn't claim to be." Dillan said, returning to normal.  "It's just a transformation I can perform."

The named pony stops in his tracks, his eyes narrowing at the human. “How did you know my name?”

"As I told Luna last night I'll explain once the elements of Harmony are here… I don't want to explain multiple times." Dillan informed them, crossing his arms.

Blueblood hums with a frown. “Very well human. But until then I recommend that guards around this individual, in order to keep an eye on him and keep the princesses safe.”

Dillan blinked multiple times at Blueblood, before slowly starting to laugh. "Oh man, this is way better than I thought…"

Blueblood blinks while frowning deeper at him. “Am I amusing to you?”

"No, no… how do I explain this without revealing too much…. I've heard of your reputation and well it wasn't good." Dillan said with a smile. "I'm glad to see it was just rumors."

Blueblood huffs and looks down at the fillies. “Yes well…I know my reputation with commoners is less than pleasant.”

"Hey, aren't you the rude prince my sister met at the grand galloping gala?" Sweetie belle asked, making Dillan cover his mouth before he laughed again.

“Your sister?” Blueblood asked before thinking back and shuddering. “Please tell me you are not referring to that gold digger of a mare that tried to get me to fawn over her.”

Dillan covers his mouth again, before Sweetie Belle could speak again a blur of multiple colors scooped up Scootaloo as the wind whipped pasted Dillan. "Scoots! Where have you been!?" Rainbow dash, the element of loyalty said hugging her adopted little sister.

“Rainbow!” Scootaloo said hugging her back with a big smile on her face. “I was up in the snowy field with my friends.”

"What!?" Rarity said trotting up to her sister with Applejack going up to Applebloom. "You three should know better than to go into the fields during winter! A single gust of wind causes a blizzard!"

The fillies lower their heads in shame. “We were just tryin to get our cutie marks.” Applebloom said.

“Oh goodness it is her.” Blueblood says and tries to sneak away from Rarity.

"You!" Rarity shrieked angrily. "What are you doing here!"

Blueblood clears his throat and stalls tall. “I am here helping the rescue of three fillies and meeting a new species to make diplomatic relations with as is my duty.”

Rarity looked at him with disbelief. "You're kidding right?"

Dillan leaned on a tree, smirking as he watched the interaction, not noticing a curtain purple alicorn staring at him in surprise and disbelief. “No, I am not kidding. Now please take your sister and go so us royals may continue our meeting with this individual.” Blueblood said to Rarity.

"Blue blood, it is her sister he saved so she and her friends have the right to be here." Celestia said, shaking her head at her nephew.

Blueblood sighed and turned to Celestia with a frown. “But princess, she was a complete gold digger at the first grand galloping gala after your sister's return. She wouldn’t leave me be.”

"Excuse me!?" Rarity shrieked, a look of anger and disbelief plastered on her face. "You used me and a shield from cake!"

"Neither of you are making a very good first impression." Dillan commented, getting everyone's attention away from the argument.

Blueblood clears his throat with a frown. “Please excuse my behavior, let us move towards town to continue this discussion in a more comfortable place.” He said to Dillan, now completely ignoring Rarity.

Dillan shakes his head, smiling at Rarity. "My name's Dillan, it's nice to meet you."

"O-oh, um you as well darling. Thank you for reaching Sweetie belle and her friends." Rarity said as they all made their way to the town.

“Thank ya kindly for saven my kin, you’ll always be welcome on ma farm.” Applejack said.

“I could have saved them if I knew they were in trouble.” Rainbow said with a huff.

"Not from the air." Dillan said, looking at the ground as they walked. "I found them buried under snow, the only reason I knew they were there was one of them calling for help and seeing sweetie belle's horn glowing."

“That brings up a question, why were you there in the first place?” Celestia asked, her eyebrow raising while looking at Dillan.

"That's where I woke up." Dillan said, still having his head down while he shrugged. "After my family… left. I was in a bad place, and thought of joining them…" He said causing Applebloom looked at him sadly. "Then Professor Paradox gave me this and said I could start over." The human said, lifting up his Ultimatrix and staring at it.

“I see…well I thank you for saving some of my younger citizens.” Celestia said.

Dillan nods once, looking away from his Ultimatrix. "I know how it feels to lose those you love, I'm not going to let anyone feel that way again if I can help it."

The walk was quiet for a while before Sweetie Belle looked up at Rarity. “What's a gold digger?”

Dillan instantly burst out laughing, along with Rainbow dash and Pinkie pie as Rarity blushes deeply. "I-its someone who dates someone else for money." Dillan said, holding his sides as he laughed.

Sweetie Belle thinks about that before looking at Rarity but before she can open her mouth Rarity says. “Don’t you dare say what you are about to.”

Dillan laughs harder, whipping a tear from his eye. "Oh man, I needed that laugh… If anything, ever happens and you need a new element of laughter it's definitely Sweetie belle."

Sweetie Belle blushes and Pinkie pouts playfully. “Aww but I am laughter, also our elements are back in the tree.” Pinkie said.

"Oh… so that's the point of time I came to, alright." Dillan said, nodding while glancing around. "And I didn't mean anything by its Pinkie, I was just saying how funny-"

"How'd you know her name?" Rainbow dash asked, getting in Dillan's face.

"Yes, you said you'd explain, and you still haven't." Luna said, raising an eyebrow at him.

"Right… I'll explain everything back at Twilight's castle." Dillan said, rubbing the back of his head.

Twilight blink and tilts her head. “How do you know I have a castle?” She asked while Blueblood stared at Dillan with suspicion.

"Like I said, I'll explain there as to… not cause a potential panic." Dillan said, glancing around at the town's ponies staring at him.

“I…understand.” Twilight said a bit worried, and they continued to her castle. Once the large group entered the crystal castle the six mares sat around a large crystal table, as chairs were brought for the guests. A small purple dragon with green spines snored softly in his own small throne as Dillan chuckles. "That's cute."

“Who are you calling cute?” the little dragon asked with a huff.”

"Oh, calm down Spikey Wikey." Dillan said, rolling his eyes as he turned to the group who were looking at him expectantly. "Alright, um. I'm not going to sugar coat anything. Where I came from is another dimension… multiverse theory is a…" he stopped as he glanced at the three fillies. "A… female dog."

"It's Winnona?" Applebloom asked confused.

“No sugarcube he's censoring himself from sayin a naughty word.” Applejack said to her sister.

Dillan nods. "Impressionable minds and all that." He said playfully rubbing Apple Bloom's head, causing her to giggle. "Anyway, where I come from, your world, this world is… fictional. It's a part of an entertainment series called my little pony friendship is magic. And it began with…" He paused glancing at Luna. "With nightmare moon's return."

The sisters look at each other while Rainbow is the first to respond. “Yeah right, if that's true what's my favorite thing to do?”

"Flying, performing the Sonic Rainboom, hanging with Scootaloo, hanging with your friends, or reading the daring doo series Twilight introduced you to when you were in the hospital… take your pick." Dillan said with a friendly smirk, watching as everyone's jaws dropped.

They all stare at Dillan in shock, especially Rainbow and her friends. “Wha-what…how…when…” She tried to respond but was too shocked.

"I also know… well nearly everything… ever since Twilight first went to Ponyville." Dillan said, leaning on Twilight's throne as his Ultimatrix scanned Spike.

“Hey! What was that?” Spike asked, moving away from Dillan.

“E-everything?” A butter yellow Pegasus said shyly hiding behind her pink mane.

"Nothing private." Dillan said, smiling at Fluttershy. "But every friendship problem, every lesson, the grand galloping gala." He said as Rarity and Blue blood glares at each other. "Discord getting reformed, so on."

“Fascinating, so you had a portal to see our lives?” Twilight asked with paper and quill in her magic.

"In a way… it's called television… you should have heard about it at Canterlot high." Dillan said to Twilight, watching her write everything down with a smirk on his face.

Twilight’s ears twitch as she looked up at him confused. “Where?”

Dillan looks at her, an eyebrow raised in confusion and worry. "Really? You haven't been there yet?"

Twilight shook her head. “I went to Celestia school for gifted unicorns, but I've never heard of Canterlot high.”

Dillan blinks multiple times, facepalming and sighing in worry. "Wonderful, the timeline here is different from what I'm used to."

“Is that a bad thing?” Celestia asked.

“What should have happened?” Luna asked.

Dillan crosses his arms and sighs. "Well… that's not entirely something I can say… In case it's still supposed to happen."

The ponies look confused but shrug before blueblood asked. “So why did you come to Equestria if we are just fiction to you?”

"I didn't… Paradox sent me here because it's a world I'm supposed to be familiar with." Dillan said, looking out the window with sad eyes with his back to the ponies

Blueblood huffs not fully believing him. Luna asked. “If you know this world then can you warn us of upcoming threats?”

"No." Dillan said furrowing his eyebrows, while turning back to face them. "Things are meant to happen a curtain way, it could completely mess up reality… for the worse."

“We understand, that is the reason time travel spells are illegal.” Blueblood said, nodding in understanding.

"It's not about time travel… it's what you do with the information." Dillan sighed, rubbing his head. "My head hurts now… I hate time travel talk."

“As do we.” Celestia and Luna said at the same time.

Dillan looked out the window again, sighing softly. “So, what are ya going to do now Mista Dillan?” Applebloom asked him with a tilt of her head.

Dillan looked at the young earth pony, before looking back out the window yet again. "No idea… honestly the only thing I can do is live my life as best I can…"

The ponies look at each other, each looking confused before Luna smiled softly and trotted over to Dillan. "Hast, thou seen a spot you'd like a house to be built upon?"

Dillan rubbed his neck, as he looked out the window still. "Well… from this point of view that forest there looks neat… white tailed woods I believe."

“I see, I shall contact some craft ponies and you can tell them how you want it designed.” Luna said.

“Princess Luna, I know this human has saved three fillies but is it really proper for us to use royal funds on a commoner from outside equestria?” Blueblood asked.

Dillan glanced down at his Ultimatrix. "Of course, Blublu, after all he said himself, he has nowhere to go so to us that makes him a citizen of Equestria." Luna said.

Blueblood frowns but nods his head. “Alright princess as you wish.”

"I mean… if it's a problem I could build it myself. I'd just need the proper paperwork and be allowed to clear some land." Dillan said, rubbing his neck again. "My powers are meant to be used Seriously but well… I can't exactly do anything without a house so it's an emergency."

“No!” Luna calls out before everyone looks at her, making her blush and cough into a hoof.  "What we mean to say is that won’t be necessary. I'm willing to pay for your house and all the paperwork out of my own pocket.”

Dillan glanced down, looking at the ground. "Is… this because of the other Dillan?"

All the ponies look at him with confused looks as Luna looks down. “No…not completely, I want to thank you for saving some of my only friends.” Luna said before looking at the fillies with a small smile. “They were so cold their dreams were too unstable for me to enter so I would not have been able to find out they were in trouble before it was too late.”

Dillan smiles looking at the fillies. "Yeah, lucky that paradox sent me there… though he probably did it on purpose."

“Could you perhaps give us a demonstration of your thing?” Twilight asked, pointing at Dillan’s ultimatrix.

"My Ultimatrix? Sure, what Ya want to see or know?" Dillan asked, arching an eyebrow.

Twilight’s eyes widened with a smile. “Everything.”

Dillan's eyes widen as he chuckles. "Yup… this is going to be a looking day."
