There’s something I need to ask you. I’m not sure if Princess Cadance talked to you about the matter… I really hope she has. I know that now, with everything going on, is hardly a good time, but it’s also the only good time.

Yes, I am aware of your situation, both from Cadance and your own dreams. You have been thinking about it a lot, I see, and in half the cases your dreams turn into nightmares I have to deal with. (Yes, that was me a few days ago.)
Despite your resolve, I must warn you of the dangers involving your idea. Unlike Cadance’s version, there is no danger of physical pain, but the danger is of entirely different nature. It’s not something I share, but you aren’t the first to have tried something of the sort. In many cases the foals live on in the dreamscape long after the death of their parents, sometimes entering the dreams of descendants. Ad while that might sound as a relief, knowing that there’s a small population of similar beings for your future coals to be with, it’s still a serious thing to consider.
Are you absolutely sure you want to go through this? Unlike the other method it’s not something you can later change your mind.

I think I am. I’ve been going the option over and over. I know I’m barely a mare, but the prospect of leaving RRBB childless scares me more than anything else. That is why I went ahead with the gamble. Max will probably just says it’s raging hormones or something that made me not think clearly, but I think I know what I want.
So it is possible?

Of course it is possible. Not by many, but with certain amount of preparation and help on my part it’s achievable, and quite painless. Since you won’t start it in the months to come (or years) I won’t have an issue.
You’ll need to talk to your mate, however.

Child, half of your nightmares start with you having that conversation with her. Three times I was one step away from revealing myself to help you deal with your fears.
You must talk to her, Dinky. Remember you might not be the only one having fears. The Windigo threat didn't cause those fears, just brought them to the surface. The sooner you deal with them the better, but that is something for you to do on your own, as I’m sure you know.

Is it possible to have a foal enter our world from the dreamscape? I remember during the battle against the nightmare, it was a matter of strength. Maybe it's possible to have out foal appear as well?

Those are dangerous questions. While it is possible, the foal will also remain a dream. Once it matures it won't grow old. Like the perfect image of an illusion. Unlike the tantibus it won't to try and take over the world, but it could still enter the dreamscape at will. There's no guarantee it won't prefer to remain there, even if it likes you and Diamond.
I had a foal once, long ago. She was the most beautiful creature that ever was: black as the night sky, with hooves and eyes of moonlight. She could never accept the real world for being so inflexible, so she went back to the dreamscape. Later I caught her hanging around some nightmares just for the fun of it. (She inherited my partner’s recklessness.)
With enough magic it is possible. That's another difficult decision you'll have to make when the time comes.

Child, I’m millennia old. Of course I had s dream daughter. That was back when I was young and reckless. I haven't seen her in centuries. The dreamscape is endless, and it didn't help I was banished for a thousand years.
Trixie doesn't seem to have touched the question for now, although if she gets it in her head she won't stop repeating it until we break up or I give in. That's part of her charm.

It sounds so strange talking with you on such topics. I know it's normal, but all my life I've been taught to think of you and Princess Celestia as larger than life deities gone beyond the trivialities of mortal life.
How exactly will it happen? Me having a child, I mean. The process InItForTheShipping described was very complicated and required a lot of magic. Will I need to prepare? Maybe build up my mana?

The only thing you'll need is to be loads of the dreamscape. Both you and Diamond Tiara. Once that is achieved I'll just link your dreams and you'll do the rest. And it's no different than what I assume you usually do. You’ll need to visualize the result, so it might take a few attempts. Once the notion takes hold it will develop quite fast. Each time you go to sleep you’ll be pregnant. The full eleven months. At times you'll feel the need to sleep without reason, but that’s normal and nothing to worry about.
