"Where other men blindly follow the truth, remember..." A voice said as a group of people in white robes surrounded a brazier filled with fire

"Nothing is true." A young teenager said looking down in a black robe similar to the others.

"Where other men are limited by morality or law,” The first voice said. “Remember...”

"Everything's permitted," The teenager answered as the fire crackled.

"We work in the dark to serve the light...” The first continued as the teen looked up.

"We are Assassins." The group said, in unison.

"Welcome young Marcato Melody." The first said, as the group clapped and one slapped Marcato on the back.

"Thank you mentor." Marcato said as he pulled back his hood to reveal midnight blue hair with a black streak down the side.

"'Bout time." One of the Assassins said, as he playfully punched Marcato on the shoulder as the group surrounded him and congratulated the boy.

"Thanks guys." Marcato said as the mentor approached him. "For everything."

”You are quite welcome.” the mentor said, with a smile, “But there is some things we must go over first.” He said, as Marcato nodded. “Since you’ll be returning home, you must be careful, the templars still have a tight grip on your home.”

"So I've heard." Marcato said as the mentor stared at him as marcato cleared his throat. "Please...continue."

"They have made powerful allies in Canterlot city, such as Tirek and Sombra." The mentor said as Marcato listened. "When we took you in, the changelings control of your home had become stronger, luckily, your family is okay."

"Does my family know about us?" Marcato asked as the mentor shook his head, "so, keep it secret then?"

"For the time being, when the time comes you may tell them." The mentor said as he placed a hand on Marcatos shoulder. "Until then, work in the dark."

"Understood." The boy said as the mentor smiled as he removed his hand. "Anything else?"

"There is one thing, a few of your friends decided to throw a party for you before you depart." The mentor said the group left the room. "So eat, drink, AND BE MERRY!!!"
