Rule # 9:
A villain should be always ready to confront any possible enemy. Both heroes and other villains
Crystal Mountains, tallest peak:
In a forgotten cave in the middle of the peak, Chrysalis was wrapped in several blankets and eating hot soup from an old thermos. It was when she felt a presence, she turned. It was a blue stallion, almost frozen to death. The Queen raised an eyebrow and offered the stranger her thermos. Sombra kindly refused and turned into black fog to then get back to his normal form; but this time without any freezing signs.
“Since when changelings eat soup?” Asked the Dark Monarch.
“I’m not actually feeding. Just trying to warm myself up. As you can notice, it’s freezing in here”
“Imagine have to climb this whole mountain barehoof. It was a pain but I cannot use my power without risking the whole plan”
Chrysalis sighed.
“The plan won’t work if you kill yourself neither, but suit yourself”
“Still, if the situation in Equestria is as bad as he warned us, none of us will survive for long” said the third villain in the cave. Tirek.
“The big guy haves a point” said Sombra.
“So tell me, are you sure of what you saw, Sombra?” Asked the centaur.
“Yes. I already warned you: maybe they’re just idiots who don’t know what they’re doing, but they’ll certainly attract his attention if we don’t do something. Were you able to locate Discord?”
“Yes but I limited to leave a message. He doesn’t want anything to do with me since certain incident the last time we met” explained Tirek.
“Well, at least we can be sure he’ll do things his ownm as always” said Chrysalis. “Anyway, can we see into your mind to see what happened? Because I can’t risk months of planning just because a false alarm”
Sombra agreed to do that, but only if it was Chrysalis who do it. So both Tirek and Chrysalis shared the images of what happened in the Crystal Empire with Dolly.
“As you can see, she only cared about made a show of herself. She was powerful, but childish. A deadly combination”
Tirek nodded crossing his arms.
“We’ve been waiting for centuries to take over Equestria. We can wait a little longer. Stopping this idiot and her little partner must become our top priority”
“If the goat comes there won’t be much to take over anyway” agreed Chrysalis.
School of Ponyville:
Flurry was busy drawing in her notebook how she imagined her upcoming battle with the mysterious Mister Z, giving especial attention to her opponent’s suit. It was getting prettier than the original now that she thought about it. She smiled, that’s how her opponent should look like in battle: majestic, powerful, incredible. He was much more than a comic book villain.
“Miss Flurry, can you repeat what I just said?” Asked the teacher taking the pink alicorn out of her daydream.
“Sure: Miss Flurry, can you repeat what I just said?” Repeated Flurry.
The whole class, including the teacher, laughed happily. Flurry made a little bow happy in her role of class clown. The teacher sighed and limited to take a good look to the notebook’s draw and after ripping the page, he smiled to her.
“Put attention”
At recess, the group of geeks met for lunch.
“So lately you’ve been kind of off Flurry. Are you in love?” Mocked Sparkler.
“Yeah, did you got recently a husbando?” Said Beat Box continuing the tease.
Flurry rolled her eyes.
“Ha-ha. There’s no one I like and if there was…”
But she couldn’t continue when the image of a marvelous villain in a black spandex suit came to her mind. Flurry’s sudden blush caused a general laugh but she preferred to not to say anything.
When the young alicorn came back home, she tried to focus in her homework but the image of Z constantly went back to her mind. She somehow finished all her work and began her super-hero training: one hundred pushups, one hundred squats and one hundred crunches. Then she ran ten kilometers in the treadmill.
“That’s quite a routine” said a voice from the ceiling. “But what works in the manga world, may not be as effective in reality. What’s the next step? Getting bald?”
Flurry looked up.
“Discord?”
The draconequs grinned and appeared right in front of the young alicorn making her fall from the treadmill.
“Damn it, what the hell do you want?” Asked the alicorn. “I need to train a lot if I want to defeat Mister Z!”
Discord laughed in delight as he made appear Flurry’s sketch book.
“Yes, but getting fit won’t help you to actually defeat somepony like them. They have powers, you know?”
“I’m an alicorn!”
“Your Grandma Celestia is an alicorn too and they received an attack from her like nothing. And not only they have powers, but also a super powerful army that supports them. What chance do you have little Princess?”
Flurry nodded.
“I’ll think in something. Why do you care?”
Discord snapped his fingers and made appear a white spandex suit with yellow details that resembled Z’s. Flurry was astonished, this was exactly like she dreamed about. Even the material seemed so comfy and soft, it was almost like a dream.
“I was checking your sketch book” explained Discord. “You’re pretty good at drawing, did you know?”
“So this suit is for me?” Asked Flurry.
“More than a suit is a Power-suit. I don’t like to brag a lot but this thing is one of my best jobs: it’ll give you super strength and enhanced agility like the one those two have; and a few more surprises. Besides, you wanted to pass as a male, right? This will also make you look like a grown stallion instead of a geeky little Princess”
“But why are you giving me this?”
“Because I got a message from an old acquaintance”
“Huh?” Asked the young alicorn.
Discord sighed.
“Yes, yes, but that's not important. What really matters is that I think they’re just like you, a couple of nerds who take comics too serious. But they somehow found a way to become super powerful. And we must stop them. But in order to do so, we need somepony as nerdy as they are”
Flurry frowned.
“I’ll ignore the last comment and thank you the support. What do you want in exchange?”
“Get those two. I got the message from someone I really dislike, but he’s right about one thing: if we don’t do something, we’re all going to pay. But again, they won’t be stopped our way, they must be stopped by somepony who truly understands them”
Flurry smile.
“Then I’ll keep training”
“Good for you but please accept it”
“I will but they are two against one” said Flurry.
“Invite your other geeky friends, I don’t mind. The Bearers of Harmony are too old now, and don’t know how to stop a couple of real-life supervillains. But a team of Superheroes surely can”
Flurry put a wide smile.
“Great!”
“Officially your life is a comic! Congratulations, now stop those two before something bad really happens”
“Don’t worry. I, Captain Awesome, am awesome enough to stop Dolly and Mister Z”
