Twilight was in a deep cave system one day, exploring the depths of the deep dark caves. Little did she know this would be her downfall. She felt like she was being followed, she looked around to see who it was but didn't see anyone until the last moment until she blacked out suddenly. Seeing the corrupted eyes of King Sombra. She had no help this time. How foolish of the little princess.

She awakened tied down to a black crystal alter of sorts, purple and green flames illuminated the dark cave. King Sombra was standing over her, this absolutely horrified her. "Hello Twilight...." he said to her, his voice dripping with corruption and darkness. Twilight was stunned and in fear. 

"Such a strategic mind...defeated Discord...Nightmare Moon...Tirek..." he says with an evil grin. "Even me...but not this time..." he said. Twilight felt something on her horn. Black Crystals. She also saw her element of magic with black crystals imbedded on it. 

"Your time of having this is over..it is mine now...so are you Twilight..." an evil cackle resounded through the cave, it echoed quite loudly. Twilight knew nopony would help her this time.

Twilight started to hyperventilate. "Sombra...why are you...doing this to me...? Why me...?" Sombra grinned evily. "Its the way things are meant to be..." he said, his horn glowing a deep red, blood red. Twilight had never seen anything quite like this. She didn't see King Sombra so talktive before.

"Sombra...please....don't!" Twilight screamed. Sombra didn't reply to that, the deep red glow surrounded Twilight, she could feel her mind and body changing in a way.. she was becoming something she never wanted to become. Something equestria who

She tried her best to resist this. Sombra was penetrating her mind, she was resisting fiercely, she was the element of magic afterall, but that wasn't going to last forever and she knew that. It took a few more minutes until Twilight finally gave out. Sombra was much stronger than she anticipated, and that was her downfall there.

Sombra's 2nd coming when he was blasted to bits was nothing but a test to gauge the power of his opponents. His 'death' was a complex illusion, he now knew the spells they used against him, the ponies who are against him at the current time and who they are, and now he is prepared for his 3rd coming. With Twilight at his side nothing can stop him. However the effects of this spell weren't replicating Sombra's ways of corruption, they were making Twilight's evil side come out. She was going to be a great asset for King Sombra and a grave threat for the forces that oppose him. Equestria will feel the wrath of the tyrant king, with Twilight by his side. Celestia's mistake.
