Okay so a Long while ago I put all my stories on Hiatus but gave no reason for this change. Well, the time to come clean is here.
I Started the Project for this Story as a collaboration between me and some friends where the idea is that we would all contribute to an aspect of the story. One of my Collaborators, the artist, vanished and I haven't heard from him in any way or form in almost two years now. I at least know he's alive cause I see he gets on the Xbox to play Destiny, COD, or Battlefield. But as of yet, he hasn't replied to any of my messages. The other who was going to make some...shall we say mood music to listen to as you read has been busy with life. He recently retired about 6 months ago from the Army, Moved back home, met up with a Girlfriend, and I believe he's in the middle of them moving in together. I at least still talk to him when I can. Of course, I'm to blame for the hold as well. My Unit recently deployed and while I didn't go I've been on one detail or another for months that's left me with little time to sit and get the creative juice a-flowing. Also, I've been in the middle of months of a Medical Merry-Go-Round to finally find out why my back cause me so much pain that some nights I can't sleep from it. Turns out I got several shrinking Disk's in my back(thanks, Mom I get this from your side of the Family). I've also been hit with what I consider to be the worst form of Writers Block ever, It's not that I don't know what to write but rather I have too many ideas to write. I have Ideas for this Story plus like 20 others I want to write but I'm restraining myself from doing it just so I don't overload. As it is in 3 Pony stories, 2 Avatar(LOK) stories, a Destiny Series, oh and some Jungle Book one-shots. See I've already overloaded myself. So I have to find a process that I can use to filter ideas so that I can more clearly write.
Not that I haven't Been writing at all. I have here and there when I get a clear image for a section. But it's also made me come to the decision to hold posting of more chapters till I Have finished the Story as a whole. In my time reading stories when I can't write I've grown frustrated with having to wait weeks and months for a new chapter to appear. And it's always in the middle of important sequences too. My story is still in an Infantile state where not much is happening so I can halt it here.
Now I'm not cruel so I will give you a sneak peek of the next chapter for this story. FYI this will be the true Chapter 1 and start of the story
