Dante was your average young pegusas colt; he like sports, hanging out with his pals, and of course had a special filly on his mind constantly. Having the said filly as his best friend didn't make it any easier to get her off his mind either.
While most colts his age wouldn't even think of things such as love, Dante was head over hooves for Fluttershy. He first met her on his first day at school where he was seated next to the extremely shy filly. Eventually finding something in common, a love for music, they became the very closest of friends. Spending each day together since then had taken a toll on Dante's heart, a toll that dropped him dead center in love with his closest friend. As time past Damte's family had to move from Ponyville, leaving Dante to say good-bye to the young mare he had fallen deeply in love with.
Years after moving to Manehattan, Dante went to Manehattan university of music to hone his skills of song writing, singing and, to master multiple instruments. After getting a degree in music, he started his own band and recorded many songs he wrote himself. Eventually signing a record deal with a big time record company, Dante and his band 'Armed To The Soul', became famous all over Equestria. After playing the biggest venues, and recording hit single after hit single, the band took a break from music to spend time with their families. Dante chose to leave his Manehattan home and to move back to his hometown, Ponyville.
