Tender Taps and Apple Bloom were laying down under a tree. The bright sunlight warmed Apple Bloom's belly. She sighed in relaxation. "This is a beautiful day today.", she said. "What do you think, Tender?"

"Yeah, is sure is, Apple Bloom.", Tender said. "Hopefully, Ponyville will be peaceful again soon."

"I hope so too.", Apple Bloom said. She turned on her side with a worried look on her face, facing Tender. "But, I'm afraid. What if it gets us?"

"Apple Bloom, the murderer came at night and we only come in daylight, including detectives.", Tender said, turning on his side, facing Apple Bloom. "So, there's not a chance that the murderer will get us. When it's night, it's scary and dark. I promise you it won't get your or me. Don't worry, I'm always there for you."

Apple Bloom sat up and hugged her friend. "Thanks, Tender.", she said.

"So, you see, there's nothing to worry about.", Tender said. "We're having a great day, so don't let that thought ruin your day with me. Just think positive that you are here with me today."

"Well, I should probably get back.", Apple Bloom said. "Applejack would want me back for dinner." The two stood up on their hooves. "I'll see you later.", the filly said.

"Bye, Apple Bloom.", Tender said, waving to his friend, as she galloped away. "Wow, today's been fantastic. I think I should start heading home, I'm getting tired and sleepy. Me and Apple Bloom have been walking ten miles. My legs are killing me."
